Chapter 20

<Meanwhile, at the hospital>

"Michael? I need to ask you something..." Susan asked.

"Yes, Susan? Whats on your mind?" Michael replied to Susans question.

"Do you think Bill is still alive?" Susan asked Michael, getting his attention quite quickly.

"...I don't think so...I mean, Shadow slayed him...yet, I wouldn't let my guard down..." Michael said worridly, unaware of the seriousness that he spoke with.

"Well, I had a dream last night...Bill was standing over Sonie, laughing as he was bleeding a lot...it made me cry..." Susan said, tears starting to form in her eyes.

"It was just a dream, Susan...it was just a dream...okay?" Michael tilted Susans head slightly so she was facng him and embraced her in a hug.

"Alright, Michael, you're right! It was just a dream!" Susan reassured herself and Michael.

"Well, what do you say we help clean this city up?" Michael asked Susan, seeing her face dim somewhat.

"Well, I don't know, Michael, you think uts safe to do so?" Susan asked worridly.

"It'll be fine! Theres no one thats going to try anything! I promise!!" Michael assured Susan.

"Alright! Whaterevr you say, Michael!" Susan said with a smile on her face, making Michael grin slightly.

<Meanwhile, outside the hospital>

"Alright, now, the first person to come out of those doors gets leveled, ok?" Frieta said, taking her gloves off so she could strike.

"Right! I understand Frieta!" Lark replied.

However, Michael, being a gentilman, told Susan to go first.

"Thank you, Michael!" Susan said, unaware as was Michael that they had two threats outside waiting on them.

Susan stepped outside the doors and got leveled by a fist from Frieta.

"Oh my god..." Lark said nrvously, aware that where susan was, Michael was sure to be.

Lark had no time to react full, though, as Michael leveled him with a kick to the face, then knocking Frieta down with a punch to the chest.

"How dare you strike my daughter!!" Michael said in a rage as he was kicking Larks ass and destroying Frieta, who were both helpless towards the angry hedgehogs attacks.

However, even Michael got tired after awhile from kicking ass and threw Lark far away from the area as well as Frieta.

"This isn't over yet you prrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiick!!!" Frieta shouted as her voice echoed through the horizon.

"Susan! Are you ok?!" Michael asked, getting anod in response, but Susan had tears in her eyes from getting hit in the face.

"Why-why would they do that!?" Susan said through tears. "I thought that woman would be nice after we saved her life!" Susan complained.

"Well, she has always been a villian, and she always will be oine...no matter what we try to do..." Michael commented on Susan's complaint.

"I guess you're right...am I bleeding anywhere?" Susan asked.

"Nope, not a scratch, but I do wish that I had gone out first..." Michael said silently to himself.

<Meanwhile, fasr away from Motople>

"The time has come, Blade! The time for revenge on your part has arrived!!" Calhoun said evily as he broke the glass case keeping Blade contained and laughed manically as Blade flew out the door to destroy the planet. "YES!!! Go, my creation! Go and destroy!!!!!!" Calhoun said evily as the sun began to set over the horizon.

<Meanwhile, inside the hospital>

"Sonic, your leg has healed faster then we thought! Its only been 4 weeks and its already mended the bone together! You are free to go out of the hospital!" The doctor commented to Sonic, who was relaxing on the bed.

"REALLY?! Awesome!!" Sonic replied, jumping off the bed, flexing his muscles in his leg.

"Be careful, though, you might not be running nearly as fast as you might want to since the bone, although its fully healed, it may not have completely sealed itself with natural 100% bone, so it may be an additional 2 weeks before you can run as fast as you are used to." The doctor replied.

"Oh, alright..." Sonic said dissapointed with the news.

Suddenly, the doors to Sonics room opened and Michael had Susan in his arms, holding her gingerly.

"Frieta attacked her...she's ok, but I think you should watcher her, dad...who knows what they may try next..." Michael commented to Sonic, who looked like he was going to explode in anger.

"WHAT?! She did what to her?!" Sonic yelled in agner and rage.

"Frieta attacked her when she stepped outside the hospital, I got them out of here, but I need to know if those spiked claws of Lark did anything internal to her!" Michael said, getting a doctor to inspect her.

".............................................................. ..Uhmm..........................................hmm..........??............ ....mmmhmm!!..........................uhmmmmmm............................. ..." The doctor said in jibberish, making Michael go crazy from suspense.

"WELL, IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG OR WHAT?!" Michael yelled, getting the doctors attention.

"There is nothing wrong with her, young man!" The doctor said loud enough to wake up Shadow.

"Whats going on, Sonic?" Shadow asked, feeling much better then when he was first brought in.

"Oh, nothing...Susan's ok..." Michael said.

"Well, we need to kepp an eye out for those two again...if they are still fighting us, then that must mean something is going on..." Sonic commented.

"What do you think it could be, Sonic?" Shadow asked.

"I don't know, Shadow...I don't know..." Sonic replied as the dark sky began to light up with stars.
