Chapter 31

As the sun began to rise, the dawn of a new day was cut off by the oncoming battle.

"Time to finish this, Blade!!" Michael shouted as he struck first, nailing Blade with an uppercut. "HA!! How do you like that?!" Michael shouted mockingly.

"Time for me to show you just who you are dealing with!!!!!" Blade shouted as his eyes glowed red and his entire body started shaking.

Next thing they knew, the hero's were now facing a pumped-up Blade who looked even stronger then he did before.

"I'll squash you pricks like flies!!!" Blade roared as he shot flames from his hands, barely missing Sonic.

"Damn!! Those flames hurt!!" Sonic commentd, getting ready to strike. Before he could, however, he was clobbered by a swipe from Blade, gashing the left-half of his face wide open.

"DAD!!" Michael screamed in horro, but soon got the same punishment, however, Blade was much more aggressive, swiping at Michael's arms, legs and chest, each blow opened more and more holes for the blood to seep through.

Sonie realized that this wasn't going to get easy, so he transformed into his superform and hit Blade with a kick to the face. That blow barely did anything to him, however, as Sonie was sent flying into a cliff wall.

Knuckles ran towards Blade and nailed him with his fists, the sheer power in the punch was enough to cause an earthquake tremor. Blade winced in pain as Knuckles was pounding him with his fists.

"You little insect!!! How dare you hit me!!!!" Blade screamed in a fury as he blasted Knuckles with an ice beam, temporarily freezing the echidna.

Soon, however, Blade was met by a volley of punches and kicks from Sonic, Sonie and Michael as the three of them were able to counter Blade's strength with numbers.

"Yeah! Its working!!" Michael shouted in triumph s him and his father combined a blast that sent Blade into another cliff wall.

"You will pay for that..." Blade shouted angirly as he charged Sonic, striking him with blow after blow to the head. "Grrrrrrrrrr!! Time for you to learn your lesson!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Blade shouted as he struck Sonic's left arm with the force of a bomb, disconnecting it like a toothpick.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sonic screamed in pain as his sons watched helplessly.

"NO!!! DAD!!!!!!" Sonie yelled as him and Michael put a hurtin on Blade, bruising his face and his body, but it was all for naught when Blade used his healing powers to regenerate himself.

Blade countered with another swipe to the face, this time, it leveled Michael, knocking him out cold.

"Time to show you pricks what Blade is all about!!!!!!!!!!" Blade shouted as he fired three consecutive red beam blasts at Sonie.

Sonie stared in fear as the blasts came ever closer to him. Sonie shut his eyes in fear as he waited for the pain to hit him. However, he felt nothing at all, not even a scratch as he opened his eyes to see Shadow infront of him.

"How ya doin' kid?" Shadow commented.

"SHADOW!! Oh, thank goodness!!" Sonie said with a sigh of relief.

"Now, Blade...its time to teach you a lesson in humility!!!!!!!!!!" Shadow screamed as he dashed full speed towards Blade, connecting with a vicious kick to the gut, bringing the angry giant to one knee.

"You....little.........prick!!!" Blade shouted in rage as blood started to pour from his mouth, the flow like a fountain as a good sign of an internal injury. "I just healed myself there too!! Its going to take even longer to regenerate it now!!" Blade said to himself as he was soon met with another kick to the gut, this time, the damage was permanent, creating a fairly good-sized hole where the foot had been, making Blade cry some, in excruciating pain.

"Thats what you get you bastard!! That'll teach you not to mess with us!!" Shadow said, very confident he had done severe damage to Blade.

"Hehehehe...you think I was going to be this easy? You are badly in error, hedgehog...!!!!" Blade laughed as he started to hover in the air, his wounds suddenly healing right away.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!" Shadow shouted in shock, sweating bullets when he saw his work on Blade dissapear in an instant. "How did he do that so quickly?!?!" Shadow contemplated to himself as he had to quickly dodge a black beam from Blade.

"This fight is just starting, Blade!!!!!" Knuckles shouted, back on his feet as he got back in a fighting stance.
