Chapter Seventeen: Noooooooooooo!

 

[The scene cuts to a weird asteroid. The silver ship lands. Shadow rushes up to the ship, as Sonic steps out, carrying the unconscious Amy.]

 

Shadow: What…?

 

Sonic: Where's the medical center?

 

Shadow: This way, quickly!

 

[The scene cuts to Coruscant. Tails' mangled body is being transported in a tube of some kind. The scene cuts back to the asteroid. Amy is on a table, and several droids are hovering around. Outside the room, Sonic, Yoda, and Shadow are pacing around. A medical droid hovers up to them.]

 

Medical Droid: She's completely healthy. But for some reason, we're losing her.

 

Shadow: I told you that you needed better health insurance, but noooo…

 

Sonic: Oh, shut up. Why is she dying?

 

Medical Droid: Beats me. But we will be able to save the children…

 

Sonic: Children?

 

Medical Droid: Yes. She's carrying twins.

 

Yoda: Save them, you must.

 

Medical Droid: No! I was just going to let them die.

 

Yoda: Why mock I, you must?

 

[The scene cuts to this black chamber where droids hover around attaching new limbs to Tails. The scene cuts back to the asteroid-hospital. There's some sort of skirt thing over Amy, and Sonic is standing nearby. The medical droid makes odd noises, leading to the theory that he's the reincarnation of that annoying lizard. The droid withdraws from Amy's…uhh…you know.]

 

Medical Droid: It's a boy!

 

Amy: Luke…

 

Medical Droid: And a girl!

 

Amy: Leia…

 

[The scene cuts back to the room where Tails is being rebuilt. Black armor now covers most of his body. A face plate slides over his head. The top clips into place. There is a pause, then the iconic Vader breathing starts. The scene cuts back to the asteroid. Sonic is holding the twins.]

 

Sonic: Amy, you have to hold on, the twins need you.

 

Amy: I lost Tails…I don't want to live anymore…I have nothing…

 

Sonic: You've got two children that need you!

 

Amy: Screw them…they won't bring me personal happiness.

 

Sonic: Oh, you little egotistical self-absorbed bitch. I hope you die.

 

[Amy groans, then dies. The scene cuts back to the black room on Coruscant. Eggman strolls into the room.]

 

Medical Droid, evil variant: My lord, we are done.

 

Eggman: Excellent…Darth Vulpes, can you hear me?

 

[The table bearing Darth Vulpes slowly slides up.]

 

Darth Vulpes: Yes, my lord. Where…where is Amy? Is she okay?

 

Eggman: Uhh…well, after your Force Chocked her, well…it seems you killed her…

 

Darth Vulpes: No…she was alive…she can't have died…I couldn't have killed her…

 

Eggman: Well, when your use the Force to shatter someone's throat, they have a tendency to die.

 

Darth Vulpes: IT CAN'T BE!

 

[Droids start bursting as Vulpes rips himself from the table. He staggers forward, a la Frankenstein.]

 

Eggman: It's aaaaalive!

 

Darth Vulpes: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
