Chapter 12

NOTE: Since Super Monic is actually two in one, I'm having the different text colors: Michael speaking is red, Sonic speaking is blue.

Super Monic opened his eyes and looked around himself. His hands were the same, yet his fur had changed significantly.

His chest was yellow with an orange circle in the center. His quils were yellow and his face was orange. He had white shoes and his power had jumped up three fold.

"Well, well, well! It looks like we have joined bodies!" Monic said. "I can't wait to see how we fare against this thing!" Monic said, flexing his arms.

The Dragoon of Chaos just stared at Super Monic, revealing its rows of razor-sharp teeth.

"What an ugly bastard...Thats a face even a mother couldn't love..." Monic said.

The dragon must've heard Monic say that because it charged at them at very fast speeds, Super Monic easily moved out of its way.

"Is that all you got? Just a wimpy ramming attack? You better not be a dissapointment!" Monic mocked at the dragon.

The Chaos dragon fired a purple beam at Super Monic. Monic just stood there and took the hit.

When the smoke cleared, Monic was still standing, unscathed and unharmed.

"Can you throw another one at me? I'm sorry, its just that this new body is a little unusual."

The Chaos dragon responded by shooting a red beam from its eyes. Super Monic got out of the way, and the beam melted a nearby pile of debris.

Monic then decided to attack, dashing at the dragon and slamming it with a homing attack on the vulnerable head of the dragon. The blow seriously injured the dragon, but it retaliated by slashing at Super Monic's chest, gashing open Monics stomach.

"AHH!!! You stupid piece of shit!!!" Monic yelled, in a fit of rage as he shot a beam of blue light at the dragons' wings, slicing off half of its left wing and completely slicing off the right wing.

The dragon roared in pain as it was officially grounded and would not be flying.

Super Monic fired another beam at the dragon, aiming for its head, but the dragon deflected the beam back at Super Monic, Monic barely dodgeed it.

"Damn..."

The Chaos dragon then started to glow a yellowish white, and its body started to rupture open pores and skin. Monic had no idea what the creature was doing until he saw its eyes.

The dragons eyes cahnged from green to white, a sure sign that it was going to explode.

"Fuck!!!!!!" Monic yelled and dashed away from the dragon, barely missing the resulting explosion as the ground shook hundreds of miles away, even Amy could feel the vibrations of the explosion.

Monic looked at the resulting crater from the explosion and flew down to the center of the crater.

Monic kept its eyes open and his ears open, still snesing some strong energy readings from the craters center.

"C'mon out, you fucking dragon...I know you're not dead...show yourself..." Monic flew up above the crater and awaited the dragons revealence, knowing full well that the dragon wasn't dead.

Sure enough, the ground started to violently rumble and the center of the crater imploded, revealing no longer a humongous dragon, but a much smaller figure, about the height of Monic.

Super Monic stared at the new creature before him, amazed how something so huge could get that small. Still, Monic felt a very potent energy source resonating from the creature, a much stronger energy then the dragon had.

"What have you become..." Monic asked to himself, getting in a fighting stance for the approaching threat.
