PART TWO: SHADOW GETS A JOB!?

One happy little day our two favourite Hedgehogs, Sonic and Shadow, were sitting round the Breakfast table eating, er, breakfast, like most normal people do…..wait, their not normal!

" Hey!" yelled Sonic angrily.

Shut up! Anyway, suddenly there was a knock at the door!

…………….

Open the damm door Sonic!!

" Oh, sorry!" said Sonic, running to the front door and opening it.

" Hi, hi, hi! Its me the post man! You haaaaaaaaaave letters!!!" the Post Man said in an overly happy way.

Sonic sweatdropped as the Post man threw the letters on the floor and ran off down the street.

" Well that was weird" said Sonic, picking up the letters and walking back into the Kitchen.

" Who was at the door?" asked Shadow.

" The Man of post!" said Sonic.

" ……..What?"

" Er, the Post man!"

" Oh……..ok!"

" My god Shadow!" Sonic cried suddenly, "You've got a letter"

" A letter!?" gasped Shadow.

" Yes a letter" nodded Sonic.

Shadow took the letter and looked at it, "55, happy jumpy angry sparkle town drive? Wha?

That's not our address! How did it even get here!" he asked.

" I dunno, and why the hell are you living with me anyway?" asked Sonic.

Both Hogs turned to the screen and looked questioningly at the author.

{Well don't look at me! I'm just the author, the person who decides everything that happens in a story!}

………………dot, dot, dot, huh? I mean………….

{……Ok, I dunno what's going on anymore}

" Neither do we" sighed Sonic and Shadow.

{Anyway, Shadow, just open the letter!}

" Ok! ^^ " said Shadow, ripping the letter open, he read it for a few seconds, then his eyes widened.

" Dear god! Its from G.U.N!" Shadow shrieked in an unusually high voice.

" G.U.N? Why are they writing to you?" asked Sonic.

" Apparently I have to pay them back for all their robots and other stuff that I broke………hang on a second, you broke their stuff to Sonic! How comes you don't have to pay!?" Shadow yelled/ asked.

" I guess I'm just lucky! ^__^ " grinned Sonic.

Shadow muttered something under his breath, but then…..Huz-ah! He though of the greatest idea in the Universe, well maybe…..

" I have an idea!" announced Shadow.

" Really?" said Sonic.

" Well yeah! Why the hell else would I have said I had an idea!?" yelled Shadow, beginning to look annoyed.

" Well I thought you might be joking" Sonic said quietly.

" Just shut up and let me talk you idiot!" growled Shadow, "Well, as I was saying! I'm going to get………………..a job!"

" A job!?" gasped Sonic.

" Yes a job……wait this seems familiar" said Shadow.

Sonic and Shadow looked around in confusion for a moment.

" Anyway, now I just have to decide what job to do!"

" A demolition……er, person?" suggested Sonic.

" But I don't want to demolitionize things" said Shadow.

" A Zoo man?"

" No!"

" A food making person?"

" No……and how comes you can't remember the names of anything?"

" I dunno, I think I might have a brain tumour or something"

" Oh, that's nice……..WHAT!?"

{Later on at the Job finding office…..place}

" I want a job!" Shadow said to the Job finding man.

" Really? And you think this is the best place to help you find one?" asked the job finding man.

" Well of course! This is the damm job finding place!" yelled Shadow.

" It is?" the man looked at the sign above the door which said `this is the job finding

place!!!!!' " Oh yeah, so it is!"

The job finding man just stared at Shadow for a moment.

" So you want a job?" he asked finally.

Shadow fell over.

{Later on…..again}

" I got a job!" Shadow yelled as he walked through the front door, which was wide open for some reason.

" A job?" Sonic said, running over to Shadow.

" Yes a job!" said Shadow.

Shadow turned towards the screen with a desperate look on his face.

" Please stop doing that now?" he begged.

{Oh all right, but only because your such a cutie! ^-^ }

Shadow blushed and put a hand behind his head, "Well I am quite cute aren't I" he said shyly.

" Yes you are!" Sonic agreed eagerly.

{What!?}

" What!?" shrieked Shadow, backing away from Sonic.

" What!? I was just expressing myself!" Sonic yelled, crossing his arms and looking annoyed.

{Ok, but don't do it again! …….Wait, actually, I'm a Sonadow fan, do that all the time Sonic!}

" Ok! ^__^" grinned Sonic.

" Sonadow!" the random person screamed again.

" Get out of here before I shoot you again!" yelled Shadow.

" O___o;; Eeeeeiiii!!! Ok, I'm going!" the random person cried, running out of the door and down the street.

Our Hedgehog friends stared after him for awhile.

" Er, what's your job then Shadow?" asked Sonic.

" I'm a dustman" said Shadow.

" Eeew, you have to go around collecting all the rubbish?" Sonic asked, "You'll stink!"

" Yeah. Or maybe I'm just a person who dusts men!" said Shadow, taking out a feather duster from, er, thin air and-

{Hehehe, from the `Master Emerald place!' ^^ }

Shut up! I'm the narrator, I tell the story!

{You shut up! I'm the author, I write the story!}

No, you shut up!

{You shut up!}

Shut up!!

{Shut up!!!}

" SHUT UP!!!!!" yelled Sonadow, er, I mean Sonic and Shadow.

{Oh sorry, please continue}

As I was saying, Shadow took out a feather duster and started to dust Sonic.

"Ahehehe, stop it, that tickles!" giggle Sonic.

"……I don't think I like this job much" sighed Shadow, putting the duster away.

" You know, that isn't what a Dustman does, they collect rubbish" said Sonic.

" But I don't wanna do that either!" cried Shadow.

Suddenly another letter for Shadow came through the letterbox.

Shadow picked it up and started reading.

" Its from G.U.N again. They said I don't need to pay them back anymore, since their afraid I

might sue them for invading the ARK and murdering loads of people on it for no good

reason" said Shadow.

" So you mean you don't actually need a job?" asked Sonic.

" Nope"

" Yay! That means you get to stay at home with me!"

Sonic then leaped on Shadow and hugged him.

Well I guess that's the end of this chapt-

{Omochao walks in dressed as a rapper}

" Yo, yo, yo, wazup? Its Omochao in the house! Its- wha!!" Sonic and Shadow quickly threw rubbish at poor Omochao.

" Your mean! I'm not helping you anymore!" said Omochao, and then proceeded to explode.
