PART THREE: SONIC LEARNS TO SWIM!

Hello my dear readers, welcome to another Sonic adventure, last time it was a bit Sonadowish wasn't it?

……..But actually, that's a good thing! Keep it up guys! ^_^

" No! I don't wanna keep anything up! Especially not `it!'" yelled Sonic.

Huh? I didn't get that…….wait, I just did, I didn't mean that Sonic!

{Oh shut up and just start the story!}

OK!

{Stupid narrators….}

I heard that!

{Well I said it loudly! Anyway, here's the proper story!}

Today we find our two favourite Hedgehogs sitting out in their back garden enjoying the sun.

" You know this would be a lot more fun if we were at the beach, we could swim in the sea then" said Shadow.

" We can't swim!" Sonic reminded him.

" Oh yeah" Shadow paused for a moment, " I have an idea! We could invite Knuckles and Rouge too, and they could teach us to swim!"

" But I don't want to learn to swim" whined Sonic.

" Your going to swim!" said Shadow.

Sonic sighed, "Oh alright………hey hang on, are you going to learn to swim too?"

" Nah, I don't want to"

Sonic fell over Anime style ^^

{A little while later Sonic and Shadow arrived on Angel island}

The Hedgehog pair walked up to the Master Emerald shine and looked around for Knuckles.

" I can't see him anywhere" said Shadow.

" Hey, what's that?" said Sonic, pointing at some sort of recorder lying on the floor near the Master Emerald.

Sonic pressed play and Knuckles' voice was heard.

" I'm not here at the moment, I'm in my house"

" He's got a house?" said Sonic.

" Yes a house, I built it a few months ago, its only got two rooms though, a bedroom and a food room, where I keep my massive bread collection"

Sonic and Shadow blinked, "O………K…."

The message continued: " to the person who's listening to this message, if its Sonic, what are you doing here? Get the hell off my island! If its Shadow, why are you alive? Get the hell off my island! If it's Rouge, why aren't you with me? Get the hell on my island! If it's Tails, why aren't you-"

Sonic pressed stop and the two Hedgehogs stared at the recorder for awhile.

" Well that was sure weird" Shadow said finally.

" You can say that again" agreed Sonic.

" Well that was sure-"

" I didn't mean it literally!"

" Oh"

" Maybe we shouldn't ask Knuckles and Rouge to teach me to swim" said Sonic.

" I think that's a very wise idea" said Shadow.

" Well what should we do now?" asked Sonic.

" I know! I'll teach you two swim myself!" cried Shadow, striking a pose.

" But how would that help? You can't even swim yourself!" said Sonic.

" Ah yes, but maybe I was just pretending that I couldn't swim" Shadow said.

" Well were you?"

" Were I what?"

Sonic started to get annoyed, "Pretending that you couldn't swim!!"

" Yes"

"………..Why?"

" I'm not really sure!"

{Later on back at home, Sonic and Shadow were standing by the swimming pool that they suddenly had in their back garden}

" Why do we have a swimming pool?" asked Shadow.

{Er……plot hole! Anyway, a few minuets later, after taking off his gloves and shoes since he didn't want to get them wet, Sonic was in the pool holding onto one of those plastic float……things}

" Aren't you going to come in the water with me Shadow and help me swim?" Sonic asked.

" What? You think I'd really want to come in and help you swim when your all wet and naked?"

……………

" Wait, that's a stupid question, of course I would!"

{Sonadow goodness! ^^ }

" Be quiet!" yelled the Hogs.

{You shut up, I'm the author, your lucky I'm not having you two make out…….hey, I should have you two make out!}

" No, please don't!!" the Hoglets begged.

{Wait, isn't a Hoglet a baby Hedgehog?}

I dunno, maybe….

{Anyway, please continue!}

So Shadow took off his stuff and got in the pool too…….Wheeeeeeee! Isn't this fun!? ^_^

{¬_¬;; …………..^_____^ Yes it is!}

" Ok, Sonic, the first step is the doggy paddle" said Shadow.

" But I'm not a doggy!" cried Sonic.

"………So for the Doggy paddle, you go like this" said Shadow, and he started Doggy paddling around the pool.

" How comes you can swim all of a sudden?" asked Sonic.

" Uhh……….Plot hole!"

{Plot holes make the world go round! ^^ }

" Help! I'm drowning!" yelled Sonic, as he tried to Doggy paddle around the pool.

" You can't drown when you holding the float!" Shadow yelled at him.

" But I'm not holding the float!"

Shadow blinked as Sonic disappeared under the water, gasp! His foot was caught on, er, something, holding him under water.

Dramatic music played as Shadow gained the abilities of an Olympic swimmer somehow and dived into the water to rescue Sonic!

………..Wasn't he already in the water? Anyway! Using magical happy fun time powers,

Shadow detached Sonic's foot from the thing it was caught on and pulled him out of the water.

Romantic music played as Shadow stood there with a half drowned Sonic in his arms.

" You're my hero Shadow!" Sonic managed to gasp.

Several people in the audience fainted in joy and a few cries of "Sonadow! Wheeeee!!" were heard.

" That's ok Sonikku, its my job to rescue cute little idiots who let go of floats in water when they can't swim and then half drown when they accidentally get their foot caught on god knows what underwater" said Shadow, turning to the screen and winking.

{O_o; Well that was a bit of a mouthful!}

" Thank you Shadow!" said Sonic, and giving Shadow a quick hug, he jumped out of his arms and walked back inside the house.

………….Well what did you expect to happen?
