PART FOUR: A DAY IN THE CHAO GARDEN!

{……….Ok, I'm confused. Start again}

Hello readers, now that we`ve met our Chao cast, we can start the story! ^_^

It was a lovely day in the Chao garden, the wind blew, the birds sang, the sun-

" AHHHHHH!" Bubbles screamed, waking up, "Who? What? Where? When?"

He glanced around with a confused and sleepy expression.

" What's the matter?" asked Sky as she came running over.

" I had a dream that an angry Badger with a big knife was attacking me with a spoon!"

All the other Chao in the garden looked at him strangely.

" O……k…..you're an idiot" said Eggy, his usual annoyed expression replaced with one of a slightly `freaked out' nature.

Bubbles shrugged, grabbed a nearby Chao nut, ate it and then fell back asleep.

" He deserves to be shot" muttered Eggy.

" No, he deserves to be pounced on by us horny girl Chao!" yelled Honey, leaping on Bubbles.

Poor Bubbles shrieked and woke up again, his eyes widened when he saw Honey lying on top of him.

" ………..It isn't your breeding season already is it?" he asked.

" Nope, that's just regular old Honey" said Sky.

" Oh, well go bother someone else, I need my beauty sleep" Bubbles said, yawning widely.

" You sure do!" grinned Eggy.

Bubbles glared and threw a Chao nut at Eggy, hitting him in the head and knocking him out.

Honey got off Bubbles and glanced around, "Ok, I will go bother someone else"

"…….Oh Sonic!" she called as she began to walk off round the garden.

Sonic's eyes widened in fear and he gave a small Chao screamed as he turned and ran behind some bushes, falling over Shadow in the process.

" Ouchies , why'd you trip over me Sonikku-chan?" Shadow asked in his babyish voice.

Sonic grabbed Shadow by the shoulders and started shaking him, "Help me Shadow! Hide

me! Honey's after me!!!"

Shadow grinned, "Oooooh, now I see why youse all in a panicky, your afraid of little girl

Chao! Hehe, that's kind of funny!"

Shadow fell to the ground laughing while Sonic looked around nervously.

" Shut up! She'll hear you!" yelled Sonic.

Sonic began hopping from one foot to another when he was suddenly tackled from behind and pinned to the ground.

" Hi Sonikku!!!" Honey cried in her overly loud voice.

" Help! HELP!!" screamed Sonic, desperately trying to get up from under Honey.

Shadow continued laughing his ass off, that is until he saw Honey staring at him.

" You know Shadow, your pretty cute too…" said Honey, looking him up and down.

"……..AHHHH!!!" screamed Shadow, turning around and racing out of the bushes.

Slightly surprised by his actions, Honey started to get up, giving Sonic enough time to leap up and run off too.

" Shadow! Wait for meeeeeeee!" he cried as he ran off after Shadow.

Honey looked sadly after them, "Awww, why do all the guys run away from me? They act as

if their terrified or something! ……..What the hell is there to be scared of!"

{Later on with some of the other Chao}

Minty stared at the TV screen with a bored expression on his face.

" I'm bored" he said to no-one in piticular.

Just then Emerald came flying over.

" Hey Minty, what ya doing?" she asked, landing next to him, her usual grin on her face.

" Nothing much, just sitting here feeling bored" Minty sighed.

It was at that moment that the loud screams of Sonic and Shadow were heard.

Minty and Emerald leaped out the way as the other two Chao came racing past, screaming out something that sounded awfully like "Honey's coming! Run for your freaking lives!!"

" Well that was un-expected" said Minty.

" Really?" asked Emerald.

" …….No"

{Meanwhile with Sonic and Shadow}

" We gotta hiiiiiiiiideeeee!!!!" screamed Sonic.

" You don't think know that!?" Shadow asked, looking annoyed.

" Well you are a bit slow……"

" No I ain't! See me faster than you!"

"I didn't mean it like that!"

" Oh"

Sonic and Shadow stopped for a moment to catch their breath.

Shadow glanced over his shoulder and his eyes went wide, "Uh, Sonikku…..i think I sees

Honey coming"

Sonic looked around too and groaned, "Oh god! Will she ever leave us alone!?"

" Ohhh, you want us to have some alone time, eh?" asked Shadow, winking at the other Chao suggestively.

" No………and where did you get such a disgusting idea as that?" asked Sonic.

" Daddy Sonic and Daddy Shadow, they is always having alone time, all times is alone time!!" grinned Shadow.

Sonic sighed, and was about to hit Shadow over the head when he paused, an idea forming in his deranged little mind.

" I have an idea!" Sonic announced.

" Cool!! …….What is it?" asked Shadow.

" You have to get on me and pretend weir making out!"

"Okay……..why?"

" Because then Honey will see us and think we `like' each other, and then she'll leave us alone!"

" That is a good plan" said Shadow, "I don't wanna do that!"

" Sonic, Shadow, are you there?" Sonic and Shadow glanced round at the sound of Honey's voice.

" Ah!" cried Sonic, "Please Shadow! Please pretend to make out with me!"

" Oh alright, you don't have to beg" sighed Shadow, and then he pounced on Sonic.

Honey came running towards them and gasped when she saw the two Chao.

" Oh my god!" she cried, "You like each other that way!? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwww!!!!"

" …………..So I'm guessing you don't like this, right?" asked Shadow.

And this time, Sonic did smack him.

{Later on again…..}

Eggy groaned slightly as he forced his eyes open, only to be greeted by the face of Sky,

standing over him and staring strait at him.

Both of them jumped backwards in surprise.

" Why were you staring at me?" asked Eggy.

" No reason really, I was just waiting for you to wake up" answered Sky.

" Ok, why was I un-conscious?"

" Because Bubbles knocked you out"

Eggy got a horrified look on his face, "Ah, I was beat up by Bubbles! How humiliating!" he moaned.

Eggy suddenly burst into tears and fell to the ground crying.

" Why god why!?" he cried, looking up at the heavens.

Sky sweatdropped and patted him on the back.

" Er, don't worry, it'll be ok" she murmured.

" But I was beaten up by Bubbles! BUBBLES!"

" Yes I know, its hurts now, but soon you'll forget that you got your ass kicked by the stupidest thing alive"

Eggy gave her a weird look, " Um, how comes your talking like that all of a sudden?"

" I'm not actually sure!"

{Once again, its another later on thing!}

" We sure had a fun day didn't we Shadow?" said Sonic.

" Not really, we was chased by a perverted Chao, and had to pretend we were in love to avoid

her" said Shadow.

…………………

" Well if you put it like that it wasn't very good was it?" asked Sonic.

" Nope, it sure wasn't!" grinned Shadow.

" ………I hate my life!" cried Sonic.

" Aw, I hate your life too Sonikku" said Shadow.

" Really!?" asked Sonic, getting glittery eyed.

" Yep!"

" Ohhhh Shadow! I'm so delighted!"

Sonic and Shadow hugged and stared deeply into each others weird looking eyes, until finally, they both said the wonderful words:

" Ok, I'm confused!"
