Chapter 4 - Tails to the Rescue

 

Sonic and Tails then decided to split for the day. Tails wanted to go back to his base to see how that echidna chick was doing, but something else came to mind. Just what did Sonic see back at the echidna's caverns? Tails wanted to know now. Tails: "Time to pay the echidnas another visit and find out what's going on." Tails made his way back to the island. He noticed that things were wrong with the ground. Tails: "Great, they've got traps everywhere now. Knuckles must've been busy after realizing that one of those echidna girls was gone. This is going to get interesting." Tails entered some commands into the Tornado XXX and then jumped out. The plane then turned around and flew back to his base. Tails: "I'll just fly in with stealth! That'll mess up some defenses."

 

In no time at all, Tails was back in the underground city of the echidnas. Tails: "Now, where's that building?" Tails made his way back to the building. He didn't hear anything. Tails: "Wonder what gives?" Tails used a periscope to look around a few corners and check for echidnas inside. He found none, but he did find something interesting. Or rather, someone. It was a bat with white fur around the head and warm beige skin everywhere else, a fact he was easily able to confirm just by his first look at her. She was completely suited out. Tails: (Oh SHIT! THIS is what Sonic was looking at!?) Tails wasted no time in undoing the lock on the bat's cell. He got in close. The bat was asleep, laid out on the floor like she had been through the ringer. Tails: (I wonder... maybe I can figure out how bad it's been for her.) Tails took a glove off and touch his hand to her forehead.

 

Tails began to see tons of images in his mind, all from the bat's POV, he assumed. Tails: (This is cool! I can see someone's past! I wonder if I can get a better view...) Tails attempted to concentrate more on his new ability. He actually managed to use his mind's expanded mental capacities to view the scenes of the bat's memory from a third-person view, with sound. Then one scene in particular caught his attention, which stopped the random onslaught of images from coming. Now Tails focused on a scene where clothes were flying off of the bat at a rapid pace. In plenty of pieces. Tails then saw the surroundings; it was happening in the very cell they were inside of right now! Tails: (OK...) Then some of the echidnas started taking rope and tying the girl's limbs into position. Tails: (What the... these guys are... this is getting interesting.) Bat: "Let me GO!" Echidna 1: "Shut up! You broke the rules, lady! We're calling the shots, so you can stuff it!" Another echidna then proceeded to stick 5 inches of hard dick down the bat's throat. Tails: (DAMN! These guys ain't playing around!) Echidna 2: "Hey, we ain't got all the damn day! Let's just get off and get out before Knuckles catches anyone else." Echidna 3: "Hell yah! I'm with that!" Tails couldn't believe what they did.

Full onslaught. That's all Tails could think of. That and STUFFED. The echidnas untied the ropes, then one grabbed the bat and sat her in his lap. Just then, Tails could hear something. The door was being opened! Tails: (Damn! Not now!) Once Tails could see who walked in, he realized it was the echidnas from the scene he just saw. Echidna 3: "Man, you gotta try the mouth today. That tongue of hers is the BEST." Echidna 1: "Guess I will, then." Tails: (Tongue? I got an idea...) Tails then looked around and found some old brown cloth. That quickly became a cloak for him. Then he turned visible. Tails: (This is gonna be fun...) Echidna 2: "Hey! Wake up sleeping beauty! You got more work to do today!" The bat woke with a start. Bat: "Who..! Not AGAIN! Get away from me you creeps!" Echidna 1: "Please, you like all the fun you had yesterday. We could tell." Bat: "You bastards... damn you echidnas!" Echidna 4: "Hey! She dissin' the race!" Echidna 3: "That's this bitch's ass now. First she tries to take the emerald, then she down talks us at OUR home!?" Echidna 1: "Let's get her and go find some other interested guys."

 

Just as the echidnas moved in on the still naked and scared bat one echidna got rammed into a wall. Tails: (Wow... didn't know how much it put in me...) Echidna 1: "Who the... OOMPH!" A swift punch to the guy's gut and he went down for the count. Then one echidna hit him in the back. Tails stumbled a bit, regained his footing the next second, turned his head and shot one menacing glare at the guy. Echidna 2: "Who the hell are you! We'll cream you!" Tails: "I'm here to take this chick away from it all. None of you guys deserve her after all the crap you put her through!" The echidna and the bat took on surprised looks. Bat: "He..." Tails turned around and started whirling his tails around, creating a strong wind tunnel. The echidna got blown through the wall to the outside. Tails: "Looks like we got our escape route. Come on Rouge, I'll get you out of here faster than Eggman can make a robot."

 

Rouge couldn't believe it. This guy knew her name, and what she had went through while she was locked up in the jail? Rouge: (How does he know?) Tails took the cloak he was wearing and put it on her. Then he picked her up. Tails: "Alright, hold on tight to me." Rouge: "What? For what?" Tails: "I'm gonna bust a hole through the roof of this cave. I doubt we'd get out safely any other way." Rouge: "And going through the roof is safe!?" But Rouge really couldn't care less about finding a safe way out of that hell she was in. So she did what he said. Tails: (DAMN... huge...TITS... hmmm.) Tails then closed his eyes, hummed, and a blue aura formed around him and Rouge. Then Rouge saw Tails start to glow gold and yellow. Rouge: "Who are you?" Tails lifted himself off the ground a bit and looked into her eyes. Tails: "Your destiny." Rouge: "Wha..!!!" Tails: "Here we go!" Tails then took Rouge, flew right out of the jail and straight up through the roof before Knuckles could see who had broken into the jail. Knuckles: "Who in the world is that!?" Tails plowed right through the roof without delay. Rouge held on tighter. Tails: (Heh. This swirl blue aura should make this go faster. Time to make the move...)

 

Rouge then felt this strange wave of calm come over her, along with some... Rouge: (What? All of a sudden... I feel like this kid has something to him... something I like...) Rouge then took a good look at her hero, flashing all kinds of yellows, oranges and gold, like he had an emerald inside of him or something. Tails: (Whoa! She thought that up? How true...) Finally, Tails broke through the surface, barely missing some nasty mines and bear traps on the ground. Tails: "These guys weren't playing with these traps. But we're safe now." Rouge: "Whew..." Rouge was completely at ease. This boy was obviously more than any regular fox, especially with two tails and... power... And for some reason, that wave of goodness that felt like it was emitting out of him didn't stop. She couldn't explain it at all, but she was starting to not want him to let go. Tails: "I'm glad I found you." Rouge had to snap out of her trance for a bit before she realized he was talking to her. Rouge: "Oh! Really..." Tails: "Yeah! I finally found my angel!" What was he talking about? Tails: "And you're so beautiful... look, see?" Tails was flying over a lake. He suddenly let Rouge go. Rouge: "What the... HEY!" Tails: "Fly! I wanna see your big wings spread wide!" Duh. Rouge remembered that she's still a bat and not just a... maiden. So she spread her white wings and lifted into the air with a start. Rouge: "Whoa! What... MY WINGS have FEATHERS!?"

 

Sure enough, her birthright bat wings had disappeared, being replaced by wings with soft white feathers all over them. She couldn't believe it. She had turned into an angel, just like the kid said. His angel. Rouge: "This... this is... great!" Rouge found maneuvering through the air to be third nature with her new wings. Rouge: "I feel so free... even with all the time I've spent in the air, I've never felt like this!" Tails: "See? I knew it! I've been looking for you for so long. Now you can be my angel!" Rouge: "Wait... just who are you anyway, and how do you know my name?" Tails: "Me? Oh, I'm Tails!" Rouge: "That's original." Tails: "Yeah... I thought that wizard that told me that vision was pulling my leg..." Rouge: "Wizard?" Tails: "Yeah! When I was young, a wizard told me that I was supposed to inherit great power, and that somewhere in the world my angel would appear and come be with me." And that was what she's supposed to be? An "angel" for this powerhouse of a fox? Weird story, but then again, somehow, once he had held onto her for that long, something exchanged those old bat wings for some lofty angel wings, and it had to be because of Tails. Plus... Tails just made her feel good when he was embracing her. Rouge quickly found herself wanting to feel that feeling again. Rouge: "Come here..." Rouge turned toward Tails with her arms spread out for a hug. Tails flew right into the girl's hug, and once again Rouge experience the mysteriously enjoyable feeling of calm, mixed with a little... attraction? Tails: (Yes! I think it worked...) Rouge: (Great, first this kid comes out of nowhere and saves me, then I turn into an angel, and now I feel like wanting to do something to him..!!) But as Rouge continued to gaze at her hero, the strange thoughts she was having didn't seem all out of place. Rouge: "So I'm supposed to be your angel?" Tails looked deep into her eyes again. Tails: "Of course. I told you; you belong with me. I'm your destiny. Besides... I'm not letting you do this for free. Come on, I'll take you to my place and show you around." Rouge: "Uh... ok, lead the way."
