Ch 13: The Rescue (Part 4/4)...and: Tricked
Sonic, while the others were fighting two of the three clones, had sneaked into Eggman's base in an attempt to find Amy and rescue her from her prison cell. It didn't take Sonic long to find the pink-quilled beauty locked away in her cell. Sonic hastily destroyed the cell and got Amy out of there, while the clones were having their way with Knuckles...
"This is too easy!" The SX2 shouted to Eggman, getting a thumbs-up from the evil genius. The SX2 focused its attacks on Knuckles' chest, trying to finish him off as quickly as possible. "Gee, echidna, that Julie-Su wasn't much of a girl, was she? I mean, Michael just bulldozed her in one fell swoop!"
Mentioning Julie-Su was the SX2's first, and biggest mistake as the the rage of the Guardiens awoke once more, flaring out-of-control as it had the first time.
"You are going to pay dearly for killing her!!" Knuckles screamed as he delivered volley after volley of devastating punches to the SX2, basically, kicking its ass, much to the shock and dismay of the three scientists.
"Chaos Control!" A voice shouted out as time froze, on Knuckles, and the SX2, once again, had used its Chaos Emerald to freeze time. However, just like the real Shadow saw earlier, the rage of the Guardien could not be contained by time, as the time barrier shattered, causing Eggman and the other clones to nearly buldge out their eyes in shock.
"He-he-he broke through Chaos Control!!!" Eggman said, unaware that he was currently soiling himself silly at the sight of Knuckles' feat. Shingleman and Herring diverted their attention away from the embarassed Eggman and focused on some way to get rid of Knuckles; rage.

Sonic, meanwhile, had just arrived at Motople with Amy in tow, he set her down inside the hotel and was about to leave when he heard a small laugh from Amy.
"You fool!" The suddenly robotic-voiced Amy Rose stated as Sonic flung his head around in absolute confusion at what he had just heard. "You though that I would be that easy to find?! How pathetic! You really are blinded by your love for that bitch." 'Amy' said.
"Who the hell are you?!" Sonic demanded, getting very pissed at this fake Amy's trick.
"I am just another one of Eggman's creations, but I was designed to be a bait for you! Now that you're not on the battlefield to help your friends, the clones have an advantage situation!" The fake Amy said.
"What do you mean by "advantage?" Sonic asked, peeved at the shock of being trickedm by his worst enemy.
Suddenly, a dart fired out of the fake Amy's left eye and nailed Sonic right in the chest; the dart contained a very powerful sedative that put Sonic out instantly.
"Now they are without you!"
