Ch 14: Change of Plans
While Sonic was out cold, the clones were gettingf the beating of their life by an enraged Knuckles the echidna. Dr. Eggman and Shingleman could only watch helplessly as the clones they6 created were getting their asses handed to them by one echidna...one very ANGRY echidna...

"Dr. It is I, AX2000, targte: Sonic the Hedgehoig has been disposed of for the time being, awaiting your next orders, sir." The fake Amy spoke over its headset radio, carrying a sample of Sonic's blood for testing at the lab.
"AX2000, I have changed my mind on my course of action...Knuckles is positively kicking the clones asses, and I cannot afford to have it left to chance on their power alone...I must have the 7 Chaos Emeralds. My next assignment for you is to locate the Chaos Emeralds and bring them back here so that I can, hopefully, charge up the power of the MX so that it can go into its super-form! Now, go! And don't come back until you have the emeralds!" The enraged Eggman shouted over the headset at the AX2000.
"Better yet, Dr, I have an even better plan...I want you to prepare the self-destruct switch for me and attach it to that bitch, Amy Rose. I'll explain why I want this to happen when I return..." The AX2000 radio'd back to Eggman, tossing the headset to the ground below it, crushing the device into dozens of pieces.

"C'mon, SX! Is that the best you got?" Knuckles taunted at the Sonic clone, pumped up because of his rage and his powerful punches. Knuckles had nearly destroyed the SX2 with barely any effort, due to the massive amount of energy the Chaos Control drained out of it, leaving it wide open for some vicious assaults on Knuckles' part.
"Just because your my origional's friend doesn't mean that I was programmed that way also! I hate your guts! In fact, I think I'll rip them out of you!" The SX grinned wickedly as it transformed its hands into metal knives, sharp enough to cut through solid ice with one swipe. "Now, lets 'cut' to the chase!" The SX shouted as it lunged at Knuckles's stomach, missing him easily due to that it wasn't using its speed, but Knuckle's still had to keep his guard up.
"That Eggman sure doesn't lack on anything in his attempts to destroy us, thats for sure..." Knuckles said to himself as he dodged and parried swipes from the SX. "You think that pair of blunt scissors is gonna stand up to my punches?! You must be crazy!" Knuckles shouted with confidence as he shattered the metal blades with two solid punches. Knuckles went to knock it out, but he felt a sharp kick to his groan region. Knuckles looked to see who it was and saw the MX itself, staring at him with its cold green eyes.
"That is enough, now I have a special guest for you all, the one and only, AX2000!" The MX shouted as Knuckles, Michael and Shadow looked in disbelief as Amy appeared from the sky.
"A-Amy?!"
"MOM!!" Michael was unaware that it was not really Amy, and he soon payed for it as the AX2000 fired an electric blast at the orange hedgehog boy, sending him flying about twenty yards.
"I am not your mother! I am the clone of your mother! Your mother is going to play a much more vital role in our newest plan then you could possibly realize, brat! Dr! Bring the real Amy out from her stasis!"
Dr. Eggman snapoped his fingers at Herring and Shingleman, who jurridly went behind a locked door and brought back out the REAL Amy, or at least what was left of her.
"NO! MOM!!"
"Quiet! She is still alive, but she wont be any longer if you and that blasted echidna don't listen to what we have to say!" The AX2000 spoke authoratativly. "Now, the showing of rage and power by you, Knuckles, has prooven to be quite unexpected by what the good Dr. and his comrades thought of you...This has caused a panic, and this panic has brought in a new plan...a plan that, through your cooperation, shall lead us to victory!"
"And just what makes you think I would help you creeps out?"
"Because, if you don't, then this bitch gets a one-way ticket to the afterlife!!!" The AX2000 suddenly screamed as it revealed a switch on its wrist band, labeled "self-destruct" "This button will make the capsule that she is in explode with the force of twenty plastic explosives! That is enough to make her body implode and detacth her from the source of life that she breathes so ridulously!" The AX2000 said through cold, mechanical voices.
"You heartless bastards!!!" Michael screamed, ready to lucnge at the AX2000, but Knuckles quickly acted and held back the enraged hedgehog son before any harm could come to his mother.
"What do you want from me, winche?" Knuckles replied.
need your skills to locate the seven Chaos Emerald and return them to me within the next ooooooooh................................48 hours!" The AX2000 demanded.
"You crazy?! Thats impossible to do! It'd take me two days just FIND OUT where all 7 WERE LOCATED!" Knuckles said in disbelief.
"Oh, very well...I'll make it 72 hours then, thats an extra day! Thats three days to find me all seven Chaos Emeralds, return them to this spot and give them to the good Dr." The AX2000 ordered as it started a timer on its metallic arm. "The clock is ticking, echidna!"
Knuckles jumped in the air and went as fast as he could through the air, hoping to find the 7 Chaos Emeralds before Amy's life was destroyed.
