Ch 16: Mysterious Danger
As The clones had their way with the hero's and Amy, Knuckles, the Guardien of the Master Emerald was forced to play a game that he did not want to play...Meanwhile, far away, a lone figure floated in the air, orange streaks of fur were slightly visible, but the rest of it was concealed by the shadows...

"Got it!!!" Knuckles pocketed the green emerald in his person, grinning pridefully as the sun was about halfway over Knuckles, only 68 hours remained until the deadline. 'I've gotta hurry and find the other emeralds!' Knuckles pounded his fists into the ground, suddenly springing forth with a high leap into the air, gliding the rest of the way across the vast mountain valley, a patch of storm clouds started to form above him...
Meanwhile, Michael and Shadow could only sit by idlely as Amy's life was in the hands of Knuckles the echinda.
'Damnt, I don't see my dad anywhere! What the hell could he be doing?!' Michael mentally shouted to himself as the AX2000 kept its finger on the button the entire time, keeping its eyes on the two lone hero's infront of it.
"You know, Michael, your father is quite the gullible one. He actually thought that Amy would be so easy to find...heh, what a dumb prick." Michael went to jump at the AX2000 after it had said that about Sonic, but a revealence of the trigger button sent Michael's rage under, knowing that the AX2000 and the other clones were grinning with anticipation at what would happen next.

<three hours later>
Now, Knuckles, the next emerald is somewhere around here! I can sense it!" The Master Emerald spoke to Knuckles, also allowing the Guardien to sense the Emerald as well.
"I sense it too, but I don't see any sign of it...perhaps it is something else-" Knuckles was unable to finish that statement as a sudden weight crashed down upon him, piledriving the Guardien to the ground below.
"Target, K.N.U.C.K.L.E.S. destroyed." A robotic voice echoed throughn the cannon air, an E-Series Robot had driven the Guardien deep into the ground with his strong arms. "Scanning area for Chaos Emerald energy......" The Red robot computed as a weiry Knuckles was slowly approaching the E-series robot, undetected by the robots sensors.
"You piece of junk!!" Knuckles shouted as he was about to drive his fists through the robots shell. However, before he could hit the robot, he felt a strong energy field hit his arms, making them completely numb with pain. "Shit! What the hell was that?!" Knucklesshouted on one knee.
"Target K.N.U.C.K.L.E.S. still alive...must eliminate target to complete master's objective..." The E-series robot ssaid, giving Knuckles more questions then answers. If Eggman and the others wanted HIM to find the Emeralds then why would he have sent this robot to try and find them...
"Who the hell is that Eggman think he is...I'll show him a thing or two!" Knuckles said as he went to punch through the barrier, but to no avail as he felt the numbness in his fists get worse. "That thing is generating some kind of barrier and I can't seem to punch through it!" Knuckles groaned in pain as the robot teleported over the canyon, making Knuckles' eyes go wide. 'How the fuck did that thing just do that?!'
