Aerith lay in her bed. The covers on the floor, most of them blood stained. Her body was full of cuts and bruises and was bear naked. She just laid there in shock, eyes wide open.

"Awaken now my delicate butterfly," Legato said seductively. She obeyed by slowly sitting up. Her eyes never blinked. Legato bent down and kissed her full on the mouth. She responded to him.

"Come now, we have a big day ahead," he said as he licked her nose with a flick of his tongue. Aerith nodded.

~~an anonymous park~~

Vash walked among the playful children in a park. Every time he spotted a kid with long white-blond hair, he smiled and expected to see Aerith, but never did.

A hat blew by his face and he absentmindedly caught it. It was purple with a white bow wrapped around it.

"Oh! Please sir! That's my hat!" a woman called out to Vash. Vash turned around to see a woman running to him. She caught up to him and Vash gave her back her hat.

"Thank you," she said in a breath. Vash eyed her. She looked deadly familiar. White-blond hair, green-turquoise eyes, aristocratic features- Aerith!

"Sir, are you alright?" she asked after a few minutes of silence. Vash shook his head of his thought and nodded with a smile.

"Oh good. My name is Aeris Bluesummer. And you are?" Aeris said pleasantly with an outstretched hand. Vash shook it and let go.

"Vash," he said simply.

She's Aerith! But what's wrong? Why does she say her name is Aeris Bluesummer?

"Vash the Stampede?" Vash stood silent.

The watch on Aeris' hand began to beep. She gasped and looked over her shoulder were a black BMW Roaster convertible was parked. A man with half his face covered by his hair was seated in the driver's seat.

"I'm sorry but my husband is waiting for me," Aeris said quickly, brandishing her diamond ring on her left finger. She turned to face him.

"Pleasure meeting you Mr. Vash,"

"Same here Aeris,"

Aeris turned around and began to walk toward the car when Vash spoke,

"Mrs. Bluesummer?"

"Yes?"

"What is your husband's name?"

Aeris looked at him and smiled before walking again.

"Legato Bluesummer. Good day," she said. Vash went into a state of shock. He watched at Aeris bent down to the driver. He kissed her passionately and then let her in the car. She then kissed another man (on the cheek instead) who was seated in the back.

DAMN IT!

The car sped off before Vash could do anything about it. Knives and Legato were in that car…and so was Aerith.

~in the car~

Aeris felt a wave of nausea. Her head felt heavy and it ached. Bile rose in her throat but he swallowed it down.

I'm going to be sick…Aeris thought to herself. Legato pulled the car over and let Aeris out. She ran behind a tree and dry heaved over a couple of good times.

After she was done, Knives came over and gently picked her up in his arms. Knives eyed Legato. He smirked and Knives chuckled. They knew what was wrong…Aerith was pregnant.
