"Hello."
New Utena turned from her books to see Old Utena. "Oh, hi! Your Utena Tenjou. I'm so glad to finally meet you," she stood up and extended her hand, "I've heard so much about you."
"And I you." Utena took her hand and shook it. "Everyone seems to think we're very alike."
"Well, that's a compliment coming from you," she smiled. "I'm Budoo Ureshii, the new you."
"May I sit down with you?"
They sat in the Library and chatted about the school, their old schools, uniforms, sports, classes...:
"So what's Ohtori about? Do you like it?"
"Oh, yes, it's very...interesting. There's lots to do and lots of nice people. So why are you here?"
" I transferred because a friend of a friend came here, I heard good things about it and my uncle came here too; but I first heard it from this friend. She and I and my original friend came to visit some classmates of the friend, if that's not "Wow, we even have similar stories," Utena said, finding the rumors of their identical natures true.
"Your kidding, what's yours?"
"Well, a friend of my aunt's, a boy friend actually, came here. That and I was recieving post cars from here, for strange reasons I won't go into. So I came and my Aunt moved to Amsterdam."
"So you don't have any relatives here?"
"No, but it's okay. I livee in a dorm and it's probably for the better. I think it's good to be emmersed in the school 'envionment,'" Utena chuckled.
"I agree. Your closer to the activities, like sports and stuff, and you can be more focussed on your work (yipee.)"...
"I love this uniform! it's comfortable and the style is cool. I just can't see myself wearing a skirt. And it's not against the rule, you know."
"M m." (budoo shook her head,) "it's not. And I agree. You have to watch the way you sit and heaven forbid you should fall over! You'd have to wear shorts underseath of it if you didn't want to 'display' yourself.& Utena sighed and her eyes rolled up: "Finally! Someone who knows what I'm talking about."
Budoo laughed. " I know, I'm so attached to my own uniform that I doubt I'd go to a school that wouldn't let me wear it. But, you know, it's odd that they'll let us wear these boys' ufifroms and not Oh Utena nodded whole-heartedly, "Yeah, I don't know why that is. I wonder why more student's don't personalize their uniforms. It's an excellent form of self-expression," she contorted her face and shrugged.
"Yeah. Indeed. But, you know, I have seen a few --like four total-- a few students wearing while uniforms with colored pants."
"Oh, that's the student council," Utena wxplained.
"I see. Their uniforms are great, with the one special color and 'ornamental' differences."
"I always wonder sho they got those from, I mean the special color."
"Right.... What color would you pick if you could?" Budoo chortled at hersef for turning to fashion.
"Umm...maybe pink or..., black might be good."
"Yeah?"
"What about you?"
"Oh grey deffinetly, to match my hair like the student council's."
"In that case I'd say pink for mine."...
"What sports do like? I've heard your very athletic."
Utena blushed, but waited, thinking. "I like...all of them! Especially baseball and basketball. What about you? I've heard various opinions about your relationship with sports."
"Well. I love volleyball, soccer...a-a-and...table tennis. Especially table tennis."
"That's pretty fun when you find someone who's good, you know."
"M hm. I like to stay away from those games where it's either goal to or very likely that you'll hurt someone. But basketball's fun and base ball too. What's your favorite part?" Budoo asked.
"Batting. But when I'm on defense I like first base."
"Yeah. I'm a short stop gal myself, and catcher although I like to think of it as fourth base," she grinned....

"Yeah, they should include more modern findings--in health too. So what's your
favorite class?"
"Hmm, phys ed, no duh, " Utena said, "And World History, which is surprising. I guess it's because Mr. On makes it interesting."
"Isn't it funny how even the most boring classes can be made fascination and 'contemporary' with a good teahcer? It was that way at Haru Academy: My chemistry teacher made it stimulating."
"Chemistry? You've taken that already?"
"Yes."
"O-o-oh, I get it," (Utena gave her sly-eyes,) "you're one of those child geniuses, aren't you? We have one of those here, Miki Kaoru. You should meet him, you have alot of things in common I think."
"Oh quit." Budoo hid behind her hands. "I'm no genius! You'll regret that when it goes to my head."
"Do you have to be so modest? You're making me look bad."
"Sorry."
"You quit that!"...
