Chapter two

I was laying on my bed thinking about the first time I met Van, the day that had changed my life forever, the day I left the Mystic Moon.

~*~Flashback~*~

He's going to be leaving and I won't see him again.

"Amano wait up." I'm running towards him.

"What is it Hitomi?"

I stop to catch my breath. "I know your leaving tomorrow so could you do me this one thing for me?"

"Sure what is it Hitomi?"

I handed Amano my pendent, "If I can run the one hundred meters by the time my pendent has completed its thirteenth swing will you…will you give me my first kiss."

"I would be honoured."

I walked over to the starting line.

"Are you ready Hitomi?"

"Yes!" my heart was racing.

"GO!!"

I took off like a bullet.

"One, two, three, four, five, six…"

Before Amano could finish a bright pink light appeared and a dragon came out of it. I was running and that is when the strange boy in the armour appeared in front of me. I ran straight into him and I fell to the ground.

"You two should leave if you want to live."

I just looked at him.

"I said run!!"

That's what Amano and I did, we ran, we ran as fast as we could. It wasn't the strange boy that the dragon was after it seemed to be me it was after. We ran until were cornered. The boy came and almost being killed by the dragon he sliced through the dragon's chest and pulled out a glowing pink ball. I was so mad he didn't acknowledge me when I saved his life; the least he could do was thank me.

Suddenly a beam of light came down and next thing I know the strange boy and I are being lifted off the ground. I reach for Amano but I was only able to get the pendant in his hand before we disappeared up in the sky.

It was night where we landed in a forest. We headed towards what looked like an old city in the mountains. Where I learned that this strange boy's name was Van and he had just become king of this kingdom. That is where our journey began.

~*~End Flashback~*~

"Van I miss you…my love," I whispered, "I would do anything to be with you again."

What Hitomi didn't know was that the walls have ears and there is an unknown presence listening to her wish.

I look at my clock it's really late so I decide it would be best if I go to bed.
