Chapter Three

Yukari woke me up in the morning because I slept in. I got up and go ready for the day and then we were out the door and went to the mall. We get to the mall its jam packed.

"It's so busy here."

"Come on Hitomi; let's go to this store first." Yukari said nearly dragging me across the mall.

When Yukari was pulling me I thought I saw a dark figure from the corner of my eye that looked too familiar to me, but then I figured it was my imagination.

About four hours later we were both tiered. We were about to leave the mall when I saw that dark figure again. I turn to look at it; the figure stood out greatly in the crowd.

It looked so familiar. From where the figure was I came to the conclusion that it was a man and he was walking this way.

When the man got closer I started seeing some resemblance to someone I knew five years ago, "Folken?" I whispered. I look closer and realize it really was Lord Folken, but why was he here. He was wearing his dark cloak that formed to fit his body all the way down the floor hiding his right arm that was replaced by a mechanical one. His hair was still light blue and from what I could tell it was longer then before.

I started walking towards him when Yukari grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"Let me go Yukari."

"Hitomi he looks like a total creep."

"Trust me Yukari…Let me go." Yukari let go of my wrists, and I continued to walk towards him.

We came face to face, I was looking into his deep maroon eyes and he was looking straight down at me.

"Folken," I whispered, "What are you doing here?"

"I have come for you."

A crowd was starting to form around us, people wanting to know who this mysterious man was.

"What do you mean you came for me?"

"You are unhappy here are you not? I came to bring you what you long."

"I am unhappy here; I feel I don't belong here on earth."

"Because you don't Hitomi."

"Why now? How did you know I was unhappy here?"

"A few times in the past few years I have come to the Mystic Moon and check on you without your knowledge. I came last night and I saw how unhappy you were so I thought it would be best if you would come to Gaea."

"I would love to go back to Gaea, especially to see…"

"Van, I know. I can take you to him if you trust me."

"I trust you. I will come back to Gaea with you."

Yukari was looking at Folken and I and she was panicking all she herd is `I have come for you' and `I will come back to Gaea with you." She didn't understand what they were talking about.

"I will not be able to bring you back with me this time but I will be back at the full moon tomorrow night, be ready for me at the track where you left with Van on that fateful day" Folken reached out his mechanical arm and grabbed my hand and kissed it, then Folken vanished, he disappeared into thin air going back to Gaea.

The crowd of people started to disperse while Yukari came up to me.

"Hitomi, did you know that man?"

"Yes, I do."

"Who was he?"

"I'll tell you back at the apartment."

We left the mall and went home.
