Chapter Five

I didn't have a good sleep that night. My mind was racing, thinking about what happened with Folken, Van and that I will get to see him again, thinking about Gaea and one big question, will I be able to spend the rest of my life on Gaea and not see me family and friends.

I wanted to fall back asleep but I couldn't. I got up and went to the kitchen for one last breakfast made with modern conveniences. I opened the fridge to find…not much, a few eggs, a bit of cheese, and a bit of ham from dinner a few nights ago, among a jar of pickles and a box of baking soda.

I made myself an omelette and sat down at the table just looking out the window. I finished eating when Yukari came into the room.

"You're up early Hitomi."

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep I kept on thinking about what happened yesterday."

"Oh."

"I saved you some of the omelette if you want it I'm going to have a shower."

I step into the shower and turn on the water. It felt so nice to have the warm water flow down my body. This is one thing I will miss the most.

I got dressed; I put on my black miniskirt and a light pink top. Yukari was busy getting ready when I started packing my duffle bag for the things I will need.

"Let's see what would I need? cloths, brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, first aid kit, running shoes, jacket, razor, shampoo, and soap." I put everything into my bag. "I think that everything."

"Not so fast I think you're forgetting something." Yukari Holds up a box of Tampax.

"Oh, yes can't forget those." We both started laughing "I don't what to know what the women over there do."

I finished packing my bag and Yukari gave me a few things extra to pack.

"Wanna go see a movie before you go?"

"Sure I would like that. I'll leave my bag here so I can come pick it up before I leave."

In a palace on another planet called Gaea a man was making preparations for his guest.

"My Lord, where are you going at this hour?" asked a very concerned servant named Keisuki.

"My faithful servant, we shall be having a special guest with upon my return. While I am gone I ask that arrangements will be made so that the guest quarters are ready for our guest."

"Yes my Lord." Keisuki bowed in respect to his master's wish.

"Also in case out guest is famished, have a meal ready for her."

"Yes my lord." Keisuki bowed once more and left the room and make sure all things were going to be ready for his master's return.

After the defeat of Zaibach, Folken had a palace built for him, not an enormous palace just enough for him and his servants to live comfortably. It was a magnificent palace. It had a gothic style, very dark on the inside, dark purples, black, dark greens, dark reds and dark blues with the occasional gold and silver.

Folken's Kingdom was small but he was quite happy with it, it was peaceful. It was about a day's horse ride to his younger brother's kingdom of Fanelia.

Folken was getting ready for his departure. He wore his black Zaibach robes that had gold trimmings. His collar was tight up against his neck. Folken's left sleeve was green, baggy and it went to his wrist under the shield over his shoulder while the left sleeve stopped at his shoulder where his mechanical right arm showed. The bottom of his robes was like a skirt, black with gold, it was black all the way around except in the front where it splits to reveal a green fabric. Folken had a long beige scarf on his shoulders that went down to the floor hiding his right arm. His long light blue hair went halfway down his back. Folken also always carried his sword on his waist.

Folken took one last look around his quarters before closing the door behind him. He walked down the long dark corridor with candle chandeliers and lights on the wall lighting the way down the corridor. Folken made his way outside, the sun was setting; there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The sun gave off an orange glow.

Folken went to the stables to get his horse. His horse was a magnificent pure black stallion. He told the stable boy to get the stallion ready to ride while he finds another horse for his guest. Folken had many horses, but only two were his most adored, the black stallion and the white. Folken got his white stallion and told the stable boy to also prepare the white stallion to ride for he will need them both.

Folken mounted his black stallion and took the rains of the white stallion and disappeared in to the forest.
