Chapter Twenty One

Three days have past and I was now in the city of Freid. I had come here hopping that I could stay at Prince Chid's Palace.

I went up to the palace stables, so I wouldn't be recognised I wore a black hooded cloak. I went into the stables with Kira. I asked the stable boy if I could leave Kira here while I visit the prince. He agreed, so I left Kira there and took my bag and went into the palace.

I was walking down the hall when a servant stopped me.

"Excuse me, who are you?"

"I am an old friend of the prince, where may I find him?" I said in a sweet voice as I pulled off my hood.

"I'll take you to him."

"Thank you."

We went outside into the gardens and there Was Prince Chid.

"Prince Chid, you have a visitor."

"Hitomi!" Prince Chid ran up to me and hugged me.

"Prince Chid you have grown so much."

"I heard you came back to Gaea over a month ago and that you and Van were getting married."

"We were but it didn't happen, Vans life would have been in danger if we did."

"Oh."

"Prince Chid, would I be able to stay here with you at the palace?"

"Of course Hitomi as long as you want."

"Just please Prince Chid don't tell anyone that I am here, no one not even Allen."

"Alright Hitomi."

Prince Chid was a cute kid he was only 5 years old when I first met him and he was already ruling Freid. For the longest time everyone thought he was Duke Freid's son but he as actually Allen's son. Hit mother was Melerna's elder sister.

Van had been searching for me for two months and couldn't find me. He even visited Prince Chid a number of times, but Prince chid stayed true to his word and didn't give off my whereabouts.

After 3 months of searching Van lost all hope in finding me.

Nobody herd from me in that long.
