Chapter Twenty-Nine

Allen and Melerna stayed for a few days and then they went back home. They had a wonderful time. Allen got pretty attached to Aiko, He wanted to have another child, he was never close to his son Chid when he was born and growing up. Melerna didn't want any children yet, she didn't want to give up being a doctor yet, and Allen respected that.

It's been a few days since Van found out about the birth of his niece. He had now accepted the fact that Hitomi was planning on spending the rest of her life with his brother.

Merle didn't know that Hitomi had her baby yet.

"Merle I'm going to go pay Hitomi and my brother a visit and to see my new niece. Do you want to come with me to see Hitomi's baby?"

"Okay Lord Van."

Van and Merle took off in the Escaflowne and headed to Folken and Hitomi's Kingdom.

They got there as the sun was setting.

Aiko was sleeping but her parents were up and around, they went to eat dinner, quietly together. Kang-Lin was in the room with Aiko.

Van and Merle were walking down the hall and came up to the dining room door and sure enough he heard his brother and Hitomi. Van Knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Van and Merle walked in.

"Hello Van and Merle."

"Hello Hitomi, brother."

"Hello Hitomi, Lord Folken."

"Please Little brother and Merle join us."

Van and Merle sat at the table and we ate dinner and talked.

When dinner was finished Kang-Lin came in with little Aiko and hands her to Hitomi. "She woke up and we couldn't get her to stop crying."

"It's okay." Hitomi stands up and goes to the window and rocks her darling baby asleep. Van gets up and walks up to Hitomi and stands beside her looking down at the baby.

"She is very beautiful Hitomi."

"Thank you Van."

"May I hold her Hitomi?"

I hand Van my little bundle of joy.

"What is her name?"

"Aiko."

"Ever pretty name, did you chose it?"

"No Folken did."

"I'm really happy that you have found happiness with my brother. I guess it wasn't meant to be, between us. I understand you didn't want me to die. I just over reacted when I saw you two when I came here last it was overwhelming."

"It's okay Van, thank you."

"For what?"

"Understanding. I hope you find your special someone."

"Thanks Hitomi."

"Don't mention it Van."

"If it's alright I would like to be a part of Aiko's life."

"Of course Van you are family."

Van brought Aiko over so Merle can see her. While Van and I were talking Merle and Folken were talking.

"Folken, Hitomi you have such a beautiful girl."

Van handed Kang-Lin Aiko because she fell asleep and didn't want her to wake up.

"Thank you, it took us some exhausting yet very enjoyable work."

"Folken!" Hitomi turned as red as a cherry. All right I'm going to get you now.

"What?" Merle and Van said together, both a bit confused.

"Never mind."

Van and Merle finally got what Folken had said and they fell to the floor (you know how they do that when someone says something stupid or embarrassing)

"Oh really now." Van said adding more to Hitomi's embarrassment.

Hitomi sits down on Folken's knees facing him running her hands up his inner thighs and towards his crotch. "One thing though, I can't wait to do it all again, maybe this time minus getting pregnant again." Now it was Folken's turn to turn cherry red. Satisfied Hitomi gets off Folken and sits down in her chair. Van and Merle looking a bit shocked at what Hitomi had just done.

"Folken why so flustered?" I looked at him with a mischievous look, "oh I know could it be..." I stopped right there because I knew the answer would just kill him with embarrassment. Folken was getting extremely aroused by what I did in my little stunt, just what made it quit so uncomfortable is we went alone and made him turn even more red, if that was possible.

Van started laughing at his brother.

"Its getting late I think ill turn in." Van finally calmed down.

"Same." Merle added.

Van and Merle got us and went to their rooms.

"Oh you got me good that time but I will find a way to get you back." Folken gave me an evil grin.

"Oh I can't wait."

Folken wrapped his arms around me and kissed me passionately.

We started getting carried away.

"Folken we can't do this here."

"Then where, Aiko is in our room?"

"Follow me."

I lead Folken hand in hand down the halls and up the stairs, someone was getting restless.

"My study?"

"What other place no one other then me goes in there unless it's an extreme emergency."

We got into the room and shut the door. Folken grabbed me once again and kissed me. His lips made his way down the side of my face and down my neck. I pull off the top of his robes and they fell to the ground. While I was doing that Folken was unbuttoning my blouse and it fell to the floor. Folken placed me laying down on the table with him leaning over me kissing all over my body.

"Oh Folken…"

"Hitomi I love you."

An hour and a half later Folken and I were laying down on the floor in each others arms, with our cloths scattered all over the floor and a blanket covering out naked bodies. I'm not exactly sure where the blanket came from.

Elsewhere in the palace, Aiko woke up and was crying. Van had a room across the hall and herd his darling niece crying and wondered why she wasn't calming down, he assumed that her parents were in the room.

Van went across the hall and opened the door to fine that there was no sign that her parents had even been in the room since they left the dining room table.

Van picked up the crying infant and calmed her down as Merle came into the room.

"Van is she alright?"

"Yeah she seems to be fine probably a bad dream."

"Was she here all alone? Where is Folken and Hitomi?"

"I don't think they have been here since we left the table. "

"Then where could they be? I hope nothing bad has happened to them."

Kang-Lin came in and took the infant and fed her and put her to sleep. Van and Merle went on a search of the palace to find Hitomi or Folken.

"Merle you look down here I will look upstairs."

"Alright Van."

Merle left and went to search the main floor.

Van made his way up the stairs and started going room by room.

The first room he went into was like a library, full of books and there was a table. The behind the next door was a closet. Then a storage room, then room with a set of spiral stairs that went down to the basement but nothing was down there but a wine cellar.

Van continued his search on the top floor, there was a spare room that looked like it hadn't been used in a long while.

There was finally one room left. Van opened it to find a dim light on a table, lab equipment on the far side, more shelves of books a table and a knocked over chair, with the bottoms of Folken's robed draped over it. The room smelled funny not from the old books and all the old junk in it but something else, something familiar but couldn't quite put a name to it. "Ah man it stinks in here." Van followed a trail of cloths to the two bodies on the floor cover in a blanket.

"Hitomi…" Van whispered, as his heart sank.

He left the room and left the two lovers resting in each others arms sleep peacefully on the floor. Van had accepted the fact that Hitomi would never be his but it was just too painful to see.

Van went back downstairs and Merle was waiting anxiously for Vans return, She couldn't find the.

"Lord Van did you find them?"

"Yes" Van couldn't make eye contact with his friend.

"Where are they?"

"They are asleep."

"Upstairs but their room is down here."

"They didn't want they baby to be disturbed."

"How would the baby be disturbed unless…Oh."

"Thankfully when I found them they were sound asleep."

"I'm sorry Van."

"Its okay Merle it was just a shock for me to see them. Its not like it was their first time, Aiko wouldn't be here if it was." Van starts to cheer up and chuckle.
