Chapter Thirty

I woke up on the floor, Folken still sleeping beside me. Had we really spent the night on the floor? I wonder if anyone noticed we were gone. Aiko! I quickly put on all my cloths and rushed into our room to check on the baby but my baby was gone.

"Aiko! Where's my baby?"

Van heard me and appeared at my door with Aiko.

"While you and Folken had your fun upstairs we looked after Aiko when she woke up during the night,"

I blushed "Thank you Van, I didn't expect that it would have gone…wait how did you know?"

"Well when Aiko woke up and we saw that you two went in your rooms we went to look for you. I found you two sleeping upstairs."

"Oh." I blush even more.

Folken awoke to find that I was gone.

"Hitomi?"

Folken put on his robes and left the door open to air it out and went downstairs.

Van handed Aiko to me right as Folken came down the stairs.

"Thank you my brother."

"I didn't mind."

A few days later Van and Merle went back to Fanelia.

Everything went back to normal and to a routine.

As the months went by Aiko was able to sit by herself, crawl, just after a year she was able to walk and was starting to talk.

She was so beautiful her hair was long and light blue with waves down to her shoulders.

Life in our Kingdom was peaceful. I was now turning twenty-two in about a week and Folken was planning a wonderful surprise.

"Hitomi could you come here for a minute?"

I was with Aiko when Folken called me. I walked towards Folken while Aiko ran and jumped into her fathers arms.

"Daddy!!"

"Hey hers my little princess."

I walk up to Folken and kissed him. "What would you like to talk to me about?"

"I am going to be going away for a day or two, will you be alright here?"

"Of course, where are you going?"

"Ah now that's my little secret."

"Folken."

Folken turns his attention to his daughter. "Are you going to be alright when I'm gone?"

Aiko nods "Yeah!"

"You going to keep an eye on mommy for me."

"I'll keep two eyes on her. I love you daddy."

"I love you too princess." Folken looked back at me, "And of course I love you my darling."

Folken Left that afternoon. He was headed to the Mystic Moon.

He transported himself to the track. He remembered where Hitomi once lived and he prayed that Yukari still lived there.

Folken walked up to the apartment and went the stairs to the floor. He didn't trust those elevator thingies.

Folken came up to the door and knocked. Yukari answered.

"May I help you?"

"Are you Yukari?"

"Yes who may I ask are you?"

"Folken Fanel."

"Are you the same Folken that took Hitomi years ago?"

"Yes."

"Come in."

"Thank you."

"So you're the very Folken…" Yukari looked him over very well. "So how is Hitomi?"

"She is great. She has a husband and a one year old girl."

"Really? I guess she married that Van fella."

"No she didn't."

"Then who did she marry?"

"Me."

"Wow." I envy Hitomi having such a drop dead gorgeous husband. "Why have you come here if you don't mind me asking?"

"Well I was planning a surprise for Hitomi for her birthday and I was wondering since you are one of her closest friends if you would come to Gaea, in a few days."

"I can do that?"

"With my help yes."

"Wow."

"Then it is a deal isn't it?"

"Of course."

"Then meet me at the track in five days at midnight."

"Okay."

Folken got up and walked to the door. "I must go, Hitomi and Aiko will be missing me."

"Aiko?"

"My daughter."

"Bye Folken."

Folken just nodded.

Folken arrived back at the palace, early in the morning, way before the sun was up. He was exhausted. He went to the bedroom and stripped down to his shorts and crawled into bed to find both his wife and daughter sleeping. Aiko must have had a nightmare. Folken fell asleep with his two favourite girls.
