"I'M WAITING! I TOLD YOU TO COME IMMEDIATELY! NOW!" - well, that was really a perfect timing. Memientes swallowed hard and returned to the fortress. Leaving a crying Yuki on Van's arms, and a Dumbfounded Kamatary, thinking that this was all her fault.

Chapter 11: Father!

"It's all your fault!" - a loud scream echoed through Luktor's fortress. All the soldiers shivered in fear. Knowing all too well who the owner of the voice was. - "Was it asking too much? You could not keep an eye on them for a couple of hours?" - she yelled again. But before she could proceed with the yelling, she felt a strong hand hit her face.

"I told you more than once, never to yell at me!" - she fell to the floor, with blood coming down the left side of her mouth. - "You'd better watch out your words from now on!" - Luktor spat angrily

"I'm only saying the freaking truth!" - she yelled back, wiping the blood with the back of her hand. - "You promised you'd take care of them!" - she got up from the floor and walked to the door.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" - Luktor asked angrily, his eyes burning with hate.

"You don't have my children anymore! So there's no way you can threaten me! I'M LEAVING!"

"I wouldn't if I were you!" - he said grinning. She eyed him suspiciously. - "I have spies on the Palace! The minute you walk out this fortress, I'll send a message to one of them, and BOOM! Your children are gone before you even know it!" - her eyes widened with fear, and he just laughed at her face.

"You're bluffing!" - she said not really believing her own words.

"You wish! And now ... I'll teach you never to disobey my orders!" - he yelled angrily, running up to where she was. He grabbed her by the neck, and started to make pressure. - "Say goodnight!" - he yelled before he threw her hard against the wall. - "That will teach you ... MARTA!" - and he left the room, laughing like a maniac.

Meanwhile, on the room next door:

Akai had heard every word they said especially the screams! :p). »He found out about her! But how? No one knows except me, and I' sure I didn't open my mouth once! We've got to finish this as soon as possible!» - he thought as he heard Luktor walking away.

He got out of his room and walked to the room next door. When he got in, he saw her laying on the clod floor, with blood dripping off her head, and covering her hair and pale face.

"Oh Memientes! What have you done? You know he has no heart! He would never let you go!" - he said as he picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bathroom. He lit a candle on, and placed her down on a chair nearby. He opened the water and dived a towel in; he then twisted it and started cleaning her face and head. - "We'll get out of here soon! I promise!" - he kissed her forehead and continue cleaning the blood that stained her beautiful features.

Meanwhile, in the Fanelian Palace:

Hitomi and Kokato waited patiently for the arrival of everyone who had been gone since the sun rose.

It was dark already. All was too silent. But that silence was soon replaced by the loud sound of hundreds of flying Guymelef.

All in the Palace watched as most of them flew towards the mountains, where the Guymelef's yards were. But some, like Escaflowne and Lost Hope came directly to the Palace. These were the Guymelefs with a 'special house'.

Escaflowne's hand moved down, towards the ground, showing that it was carrying something … or someone

"YUKI! Are you ok?" - Hitomi ran towards her friend and hugged her the best she could (Remember she's pregnant?)

"Yeah! I'm fine! But I think I'm going into labor sooner than expected (is that how you say it! Ah! I don't know! I've never been pregnant, and if I had, it was in Portuguese! :p)" - she said calmly as she bend down when she was struck with sudden pain.

"Oh! Not now!" - Hitomi said starting to panic. She helped Yuki up, and when she saw Van coming their way, she smiled. (Van had gone to put Escaflowne on the yard.) - "Van, dear!" - Van lifted a brow. - "Yuki is in labor!" - she had no need of say it twice, he ran up to them and picked Yuki up, taking her to the infirmary right away.

"Van, it will still take some time! Sometimes it takes hours! Don't rush things! SLOW DOWN!" - but he didn't listen, instead he started running even faster. Hitomi was right behind. - "Van, this is not your child! SLOW!" - he stopped abruptly, and Hitomi, who was not expecting it, fell face down on the floor.

Yuki then understood her mistake, and suddenly the floor had become the most interesting thing in the world. - "I'm sorry!"

Van started walking, but this time in real slow motion. Hitomi just stared at the two and sighed.

Meanwhile, on the royal Guymelef's yard:

Kamatary came down 'Lost Hope' with a lost expression. Sergio, that was expecting her to jump in is arms, began to worry when he saw her.

"What's wrong, my love?" - he asked as he hugged her close. As soon as she felt his arms around her she began to cry against his chest. He picked her up on his arms and carried her all the way to their chambers, with her crying all the time.

When he placed her down on their 4-posted bed, she started to calm down. - "Can you tell me what's wrong now?" - he asked in reassuring tone of voice. She nodded and wiped the tears off her face, with the back of her hand.

"She's here Sergio! And she hates me!" - she paused for a few seconds and than proceeded. - "I'd never seen her so angry before! It's like if she was possessed!" - she started crying again.

"Where?" - Sergio asked, now really worried.

"In battle! She is fighting with the enemy! And I think this is all my fault!" - he hugged her and started rocking her like a baby.

"It is not your fault! Stop thinking like that!" - he sighed. - "I'm sure she has her reasons to have done that! Don't worry … we'll find a way of bringing her back save! … I promise!"

Thirty minutes later:

The sound of flying Guymelefs filled the Palace walls once again.

All except Kamatary, Sergio, Van and Yuki, were at the entrance for the Guymelef's Yard.

"Look mommy! It's dad!" - Lune said excitedly, while waving at his father.

Zardus smiled when he saw his family and friends waving at them from bellow. The three Guymelefs landed safely on the ground. Zardus, Chris and Ureshiu came out, looking extremely exhausted and happy at the same time.

Zardus ran to his wife and son, giving each a kiss and a big hug.

Ureshiu was immediately thrown to the floor by her son, Satsu, and she started giggling when he started kissing her whole face.

As for Chris, she immediately went running on the direction of her husband, son and daughter, making sure that Sano hadn't got hurt in battle.

"It's good to know you're all in one piece!" - Celena said while hugging Chris. The others nooded.

"So how did things go in the battlefield?" Ureshiu asked curious.

"They were winning at first, but we soon recovered!" - Soru, Celena's husband, stated. The three nodded in understanding.

"Err … Lady?" - they al turned their heads in the direction of Chris Guymelef. - "We don't want to stay in here! Can we go down now?" - a little boy, about five years old, asked. He was, along with his sister, sitting on the Guymelef's hand.

"I'm sorry! Ahahaha!" - she laughed nervously. - "I completely forgot about you two!" - all her friends sweatdroped. - "Wait a second and I'll put you down!" - she started to climb o to the Guymelef's cockpit.

"Don't worry! We can do that ourselves!" - they both jumped. The adults started screaming in panic, the Guymelef was still petty high, especially for a child. But when they both landed perfectly on the floor, they all sighed. - "See?" - Chris came up to them and put one of her angry faces on.

"Did you know how dangerous that was? You could've broken a leg or two! Don't ever do that again!" - They both nodded - "Good! Now let's get you a room, and than something to eat! You two must be starving!" - they nodded once again. And she started leading them inside the Palace. With Sano, Donovan and Minnie fallowing right behind.

"Could someone explain this to me?" - Kokato asked to no one I particular.

"We found those two children on the dungeons! They were the only prisoners, and we were lucky to find them! I think they said something about their mother being forced to fight!" - Zardus stated, before he excused himself leaving to the Palace with his family.

"Weird! And that boy reminded me of someone!" -Kokato said, while watching them disappear inside the Palace.

"Well I think the little girl is an exact copy of Kamatary! Don't you agree?" - Celena asked her husband. He just nodded.

"Lets get back inside!" - Ureshiu said, before she too went inside the Palace. The others fallowed.

"You two will stay I this room! There are guards in the hall! If you need anything, just call them and they'll call me, ok?" - they both nodded. - "You two don't talk much, do you?"

"The mean man didn't let us talk! So we learn to just be silent!" - the little girl said, while looking around the room, with wide eyes.

"Well, here there are no mean men! Everyone in here is good! So you can talk as much as you wish." - Chris reassured them with a big smile the little girl smiled back.

"Mom should be worried by now!" - the boy said, with sad eyes. Chris looked at him and kneeled at his level.

"Where's your Mom? Maybe we can find her and send you home! What's her name dear?"

"Mom's in the fortress! Her name's Ma …" - he girl started, but the boy interrupted.

"Memientes! Here name's Memientes!"

"I see! And what are your names?" - Chris asked in a happier mood.

"I'm Maboroshi!" - the little girl said with a courtesy.

"I'm Hume!" - the boy said, doing the same.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you Christina!" - they both said at the same time. Chris thought that it was weird. They know her name. She was sure that her friends had only called her Chris. They never said her full name in front of the kids.

"Well, I should be going now! Make yourself at home! The king would be visiting you this night, but he is kind off busy right now! But I'm sure he'll come in the morning! He's a very kind person! His name is Van Fanel!" - at this, both children's eyes widened. Maboroshi started crying, and Hume went to her, hugging her and whispering something to her. She soon got back to normal. - "Did I say something wrong?"

"No! It's just that we heard Luktor saying so many times that he wanted the king dead, that Maboroshi is worried about him. That's all really!" - the boy seemed quite nervous, but Chris dismissed that fact.

"Well … Goodnight!" - she kissed them both goodnight and left the room.

"Maboroshi, you've got to be more careful! Remember mother said never to reveal dad' name to anyone! Not even to Chris! Let's go to bed now!" - they both climbed up the bed and soon fell asleep.

Hohoho! Big mystery! Start making guesses! You'll fail most of them I'm sure! Now, who is their father? What are Memientes and Akai going to do to get out of the fortress? And why did Luktor call Memientes Marta? Big mysteries!

Just for note! I'm almost finishing! One or two more chapters to go and BOOM! It's al finished. I'm thinking of the End for two of my stories, including this one. I'll try to update soon! I Promise!
