Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ Love Affair ❯ I Didn't Know How To Love You ( Chapter 12 )
Chapter 12
The half hour she spent in the shower was not nearly enough to relax her. Her body was still tense and her nerves were on edge. In fact, she was outright livid at the fact that she had to visit that inconstant jerk that was her superior. Him and his goddamn mood swings! He was worse than a girl for crying out loud!
She dried off and stepped out of the steaming shower room, wrapping a towel around herself. She stepped out into the hall, her clothes in her arms and slowly made her way down the hall to her room. Thankfully nobody had stepped in so she was able to wash in peace but she still had a nagging feeling in the back of her head that told her to be leery of what may happen. Honestly, what she really needed was a lock on the door. Perhaps she might be able to inquire about one considering how Dilandau reacted to the whole situation.
She walked in the room and saw both Gatti and Miguel just lounging and making light conversation. When she came in, they stood and stepped out, waiting for her to dress before they went back in. It's what would usually happen during the nights unless she brought her clothes with her into the bathroom, which she hardly did anyway. She walked over to the small closet and pulled out a thin nightgown. It reached mid-thigh and was a silky material. It was completely black. The contrast of the material to her skin made her all the more appealing. Dilandau had it made for her as a favor but she doubted if he would be doing anything for her for quite some time. She slipped into it and put on a pair of ankle socks and put on some slippers. She let the guys back in and sat down on her bed, taking her deodorant, a brush, and lotion with her. It never ceased to amaze her that the guys would watch her when she would lotion up and brush her hair. But it happened every time and every time, the guys would get this dreamy sort of look in their eyes that would kind of creep her out.
After doing so, she just lay back and waited for the time when she would have to leave, She looked up at the clock: still about a half hour to go. No doubt that she was still nervous as hell and she really didn't want to do what she thought she would do with him... not after what happened at least.
She stood up and padded over to the closet, pulling out a silken robe, the same dark black of her nightgown. It hovered just barely over the floor and the sleeves draped past her hands. She went to the door, "Guys… I'm going early. Don't expect me to come back tonight." Her voice was somewhat detached and her eyes were glazed over as if she was seeing something else. She didn't wait for their response and quietly stepped out of the room, closing the door behind her with a soft `click.'
Slowly, her feet carried her down the darkened halls. Her eyes were unfocused, her mind not in tune with the world around her. Her body almost seemed to move of it's own accord but she didn't notice. She kept seeing images flash before her eyes, things that didn't make sense. There was fire and blood and someone stood in the middle of ruins. It was dark, the night was still, nothing moved. No sound was made despite the movement of the flames and the winds that rustled its flames. The figure amidst the fire was crouched, two short blades held in their hands. One gleamed with thick, crimson liquid and it dripped from the tip, onto the ground where there lay another figure. The person with the blades slowly stood, her head rolling up to reach their full height. The blades dropped soundlessly to the ground as the figure looked down at their blood stained hands. It stepped back from the body on the floor. The body moved slightly, it was still alive but seemed obviously injured. The figured stepped back once more and abruptly turned, facing Hitomi's line of vision. The face was masked by shadow as the flames flicked back and forth across it's face.
Hitomi gasped and blinked! Her sight focused and she found herself standing in front of a door. She ran a hand through her hair and shook her head clear of her vision. Something wasn't right with it. It was almost as if it had been a… memory of sorts. It was weird but she knew that it was something that had happened in the past. Instinctively, her hand went to clasp the pendant around her neck. Startlingly enough, comforting warmth seeped through her arm when she clasped it and her body relaxed. She looked down at the pendant and her brows furled when a slight glow came from it.
A chime made her head shoot up and her thoughts disperse. The clock chimed through the Vione once, indicating the new hour.
`It's already time… it went by too quickly!' A shudder racked her body and she brought her hand up to knock on Dilandau's door. But she didn't. She bit her lip nervously, closed her eyes, and knocked on the door.
Almost immediately the door slid to the side and green met red. Dilandau's gaze was cold and guarded. She found herself shifting uneasily from foot to foot under his scrutiny until finally he stepped aside and let her in. The door shut instantly behind her and locked automatically. The lights were dimmed in the room, and small candles flickered on the desks and nightstands. The curtains that led to the balcony were gently rustling in the breeze. The doors were open and the cool air was inviting. She hadn't been able to step outside and see the sky for some time now. It called out to her.
Her eyes glanced around the room. The bed curtains were loose and gently fluttering and the sheets were disheveled. The soft bed beckoned to her but instead she walked over to the balcony, stepping outside. The Vione wasn't high up at all. It wasn't moving either. Hitomi walked slowly to the railing, her eyes searching the skies. The two moons shone high in the dark abyss, the various stars twinkling to a silent melody. She felt the tension seep out of her and her muscles relax visibly. The calm of the peaceful night swept over her and her eyes closed, her breaths becoming deep and easy. She sighed and opened her eyes. She could see that they were in a forest somewhere and she could see the treetops beneath her, stretching for miles. A lake glistened in the moonlight and she couldn't help but smile, thoughts of her own night at a lake rushing to her head.
"Did I really mean nothing to you all those times?" She whispered, knowing that he could hear her despite the softness in her voice. Strong hands landed on her waist and the heat from his body seeped through the thin silk she wore. His hands traveled up her sides and placed themselves on her shoulders.
She shivered when his lips gently nibbled on her ear, his hot breath cascading down her neck, "Untie the sash." He whispered. He quietly slid the black robe off her shoulders. Her own hands pulled out the bow in the sash and it fell, pooling silently around her feet. Warm lips made contact with the skin of her neck and she bit her lip, stifling back a moan. Just his touch sent her into a frenzy of varied emotions.
Her eyes fluttered and shut. Her heart started to increase its tempo and her voice became low and husky, "Why do you do these things to me?"
She stifled a gasp of surprise when he nipped her sensitive skin, "You will learn your place aboard this airship. And you will be mine!" He bit down harshly on her neck and she gave a slight cry at the unexpected pain. He spun her around to face him and crashed his lips down on hers. She struggled against him, her hands pushing against his chest. He pulled back his lips, a malicious glint in his eyes, and pushed her up against the railing, lifting her up to sit on the edge. She instantly stopped struggling and clung to him, fear crept into her eyes.
"Dilandau, please stop!" She whispered, tears forming in her eyes, "Why are you acting like this?"
Dilandau pulled her from the ledge, carrying her struggling form to the bed, "You slapped me. Punishment is due." He pinned her to the bed, both hands held above her head with one of his own. His eyes flickered in the dim light. She gasped. Something wasn't right. It was almost as if this wasn't really him.
His knee slid between her thighs, forcefully separating them. She whimpered and squeezed her eyes shut, "Please… Dilandau, please don't do this…" A tear rolled down her cheek and she felt him tense above her. He shifted a bit and warmth surrounded her. A hot, wet, rough surface followed the path of her tear and she opened her eyes.
His tongue rolled down her face, his own crimson eyes looking into her own. He was struggling with something. His body tensed and relaxed continuously, "… Run… go… now…" His voice came out hoarse and strained and his grip loosened. He buried his face in her neck and shuddered, "Run! Now!"
She struggled beneath him again and managed to free her hands. She pushed him off of her but lingered for a moment by his side. He was on his hands and knees, head bowed and he was shaking. She felt her heart clench painfully and reached out to him.
"NO! Don't touch me! Run… you have to go… please…" He was pained and trembling. But she didn't go.
"What's wrong with you? Tell me, maybe I can-"
He groaned and his fists clenched, "The doctors… the tests… chemicals…" He groaned again and his eyes flickered back to their evil glint. His body immediately relaxed and he looked at her, that same smirk crossing his features. She pulled back her hands and crawled back, heading to the door.
He leapt forward, grabbing her before she could stand, "Oh no you don't!"
She screamed for help, for someone, for… anyone! Her cry was cut off with another slap and she cry out her head again tossed mercilessly to the side.
"You are not Dilandau! Give him back!" She whimpered as his hand slid down her side and ran back up to her inner thigh, "Fight it… Please Dilandau, you can't give in," She bit her lip and stifled a moan when his fingers rubbed her bundle of nerves. Her eyes fluttered and her body arched into the touch, "Y-you… you can't give… u-up!" He rubbed harder and her hands clenched into fists, a slight cry passing her lips. His fingers skillfully pushed her panties to the side and teased her heated flesh. She moaned and struggled harder beneath him.
He smirked in satisfaction above her and watched as various emotions crossed flickered. Her brows were furrowed, a blush tinted her cheeks, eyelids fluttering, eyes rolled back, and lips parted to allow her short, panting breaths, "Clearly, you are enjoying this… more than you care to admit…" He buried a single digit deep into her and she yelped, her eyes closing tightly.
Her head was swimming and she could hardly think straight, but the words seemed to just come out of her, "You can manipulate my body, but you can never truly have me as Dilandau had."
He tensed above her again, and growled. He shuddered again and Hitomi once again found Dilandau's true gaze. He pulled his finger out of her, earning a sharp gasp and he steadied himself above her, "I told you to run…" He buried his face in her neck again, trying to calm himself with her soothing scent.
"I can't leave you like this… there has to be something I can do… anything! Please tell me!" She wrapped her arms around him and held him close, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
He lifted his head and looked at her, pushing away his pride, he gave a shaky sigh, "Help me… please… I don't want to hurt you like I once was…" He rested his head against hers and closed his eyes as another shudder ran through him.
"How?" She whispered, her heart beating painfully. She didn't know what to do and she didn't understand what was happening… or why she felt like this.
He brushed his lips against hers and a tingle shot through both of their bodies, "Kiss me… just be here… you help me stay in control…"
She pulled him close to her and gave him a chaste kiss on his lips. His body relaxed a little but he was still in control, "Why me?" She whispered uncertainly.
"I don't know, "he sighed, "You soothe me…" He trailed off, not really knowing how to explain how he felt around her.
She kissed him again; a lingering kiss and his body gave out. He collapsed on top of her, exhausted. She rolled them over so she straddled him. He relaxed beneath her and kissed her back. Their kisses were soft and slow… drawn out. They were the kind of kisses that you remembered forever because they held a deeper meaning than the tongue-battling, desperate ones.
They stayed there for a long time, neither keeping track of exactly how long. Hitomi vaguely remembered the bells chiming twelve times to signal midnight but she didn't remember how long ago. Abruptly, the clock chimed once and all was quiet once more. Their position had changed somewhat. Hitomi was lying comfortably on top of Dilandau, her leg entwined with his. One hand had found his and their fingers were locked but every now and then, his fingers would trace hers and then lock together once more. Her other arm supported her weight as his other slowly trailed up and down her back, making her shiver occasionally.
Their lips were still locked and had anyone been there to witness them, one would think they were lovers. In a sense they were but… they had yet to realize such happenings.
Hitomi pulled back slightly, their lips parting. She slowly opened her eyed only to find his still closed, "Why'd you stop?" He whispered reaching up and giving her a chaste kiss.
She smiled and brought her lips back down, leaving a trail of butterfly kisses as she went down to his neck. She heard him let out a shaky breathe and smiled. She teased the flesh and sucked it gently, feeling his hand tighten in hers momentarily.
"Can you stand?" She whispered into his neck. He shivered and groaned his response. She stood up and pulled him up, walking over to the bed. He paused, looking at her apprehensively. She pulled him along and soon enough they were lying in the plush bed, Dilandau straddling Hitomi.
"Are you sure?' he asked as she pulled his shirt over his head. Her lips kissed his and trailed down, over his chest, her hands already working on his pants.
"It's okay, Dilandau. Relax… your with me… we'll talk in the morning. For now…" She slowly started to slip his pants down and he took over, tossing them to the side and pulling the sheet over them, "Make love to me…" She finished, sighing as he pulled down her panties.
He didn't hesitate and slowly pulled her gown over her head. It soon joined the other pile of clothes on the floor. For some time they just lay like that, naked betwixt the sheets, just looking into each other's eyes. Then, almost shyly, Dilandau leaned down, kissing the girl beneath him. His tongue slid across her lips and she parted them. His tongue crept in and tapped hers, lightly coaxing it out to play. As soon as hers moved, he pulled back and ran kisses down to her neck and collarbone. Her body arched and her hands tangled into his hair.
His hand trailed down her abdomen. The slight muscles twitched under the feather-light touch. It trailed lower still and she moaned when he felt her sacred jewel. He stifled a groan and adjusted himself at her core, "You're so wet," he mumbled into her neck, "Relax… I'm putting it in." Slowly, he pushed himself into her, "Gods… you're so… hot."
He rested his forehead against hers and slowly pushed the rest of his way in, his eyes shut tight. He groaned when her muscles clenched around him, drawing him deeper into her. She moaned and bucked her hips making them both gasp.
"You've never been so deep…" She whispered through a moan as he pulled out and rolled back into her.
"You never asked me to make love to you before…" he rolled back into her again, her body arching and her breathing getting shallow.
She moaned, her eyes fluttering under the sensation of their slow movements, "I didn't think you would…" She gave a cry as he plunged in slightly harder… slightly deeper.
"I didn't know how to love you…"
He groaned and kissed her softly, one hand supported him and the other was holding her waist. Her legs were bent at the knee, her arms around his neck. They moved slow, savoring each sensation they created with their passionate movements.
"Dilandau…" She whimpered beneath him and he increased the slow pace into a steady rhythm. Their drew in shallow breaths and shortly thereafter their muscles started to tense. Hitomi's muscled slowly clenched around Dilandau and he started to stiffen. High-pitched mewling sounds were coming from Hitomi with each thrust. Dilandau was breathing hard and their sweat glistened in the dim light of the room. Hitomi threw her head back, her brows furrowed and her eyes were shut tightly. Her lips parted and she gasped for air.
Dilandau groaned when she tightened harder around him. It was getting harder to move within her and the friction was so sweet. Hitomi moaned out his name and her body tensed. She was on the edge. Just a bit more and she's go over. The vague chime of the clock reached her and she cried out when he pulled out and thrust hard back into her. She opened her eyes. It took almost all of her will power to get them open. What she saw was enough to send her over. Dilandau's face was just above hers, his eyes opened as he watched her. His brows were furrowed and he was panting. Sweat rolled down his head and his hair was matted to his head. Just as their eyes met his closed and he pressed his forehead against hers, kissing her at the same time. He groaned into the kiss and she screamed. Her eyes shut seconds after his and bursts of color shot across both their closed lids. His hot seed spilled deep into her womb and her body clenched unbelievably tight around him, milking him for all he had. Her nails raked across his back and a shudder wracked through both their bodies. Dilandau collapsed onto her, trembling and she lay there beneath shaking. Their lips parted and they drew in shaky breaths.
"Wow…" Hitomi whispered. Her head was swimming.
Dilandau shuddered, "Yeah…" He whispered back. They didn't move. Hitomi stroked Dilandau's back and he buried his head in her neck. Soon after, their breath evened out and they both dozed off into a comfortable sleep.

She stirred in her sleep, trying to cuddle further under the covers when the sun fell across her closed eyelids. Something heavy atop her hindered her movement and she cracked an eye open. On top of her was a sleeping Dilandau. His head was resting in the crook of her neck and he looked so innocent. She vaguely rendered the fact that his softened length was lying against her thigh. A blush rose to her cheeks and she smiled. She kissed his forehead and closed her eyes, enjoying the calm that washed over her. She could hear birds chirping cheerily in the distance. A small breeze flowed quietly through the room. All was well.
He shifted above her and something soft fluttered up her collarbone to her neck. She sighed, slowly running her fingertips along his spine. He shivered and a small smile tucked up the corners of her lips.
`He's so responsive…' She mused quietly, letting his soft kisses send small tingles through her flesh.
"Mmm… good morning to you, too, Dilandau…" She whispered not wanting to disrupt the overwhelming comfort of the moment.
As if in response, Dilandau gently nipped the tender flesh of her neck. She let out a sharp breath, and shuddered when he started to lick the offended area.
"Dilandau, we just woke up! Behave yourself…" She giggled when he grunted. He reluctantly pulled his head out of her neck and planted a chaste kiss on her lips.
"Good morning, babe!" He sat up and stretched, giving a loud yawn.
She growled at her new nickname, "Babe?" She questioned, an underlying warning in her tone.
"Yep," He stood up and threw the sheet over her, heading towards the bathroom… butt… naked.
"Oh… you're so modest!" She retorted sarcastically as she watched his form slip into the bathroom.
He popped his head out, a toothbrush in his mouth, "Whash shass shupposh sha mean?"
She stared at him, dumbfounded for a moment… and then broke out laughing. He scowled at her as best he could with the toothbrush and foam in his mouth. It just made her laugh harder. He grumbled something and retreated back into the bathroom. Eventually her laughter died down and she stood up, wrapping the sheet tightly around her. Being naked during sex was one thing. Strutting around butt naked because you felt like it was a completely different thing. She went to the corner where a pile of clothes were and started rummaging through it, one handed because the other held her sheet.
Dilandau walked out and leaned against the door panel, watching her struggle. Finally she just stood straight and tied the sheet around her in a loose knot. She bent over once more, not noticing that Dilandau started to creep up on her. He walked quietly to stand behind her.
Just as she proclaimed, "Eureka! I've found it!" Dilandau grabbed the sheet and pulled it from her. She let out a startled "Eep!" and quickly regained her balance. He threw the sheet on the bed and watched as she turned to glare at him. She brought her hands to her hips and scowled at him, not quite realizing that she was now also… butt… naked.
He chucked and pointed a finger at her, letting his eyes deliberately roam her body. He whistled and looked back up at her, "Now who's the modest one?"
Her face went blank for a moment. Then a light seemed to go on in her head. She let out a yelp and made a mad dash for the bed. Dilandau dashed after her and she dived. She slid across the silken sheets and grabbed the closest thing she could, a pillow, and then… slid off the bed and onto the floor. Her legs shot up just as she went over. Dilandau followed shortly thereafter. He hit the bed face first and got caught up in the sheet… but he kept sliding. The sound of a door sliding open rang out across the room and then off the side of the bed he went… and landed right on top of Hitomi. She let out an "Oomph!" when he landed… right between her thighs.
They just stared at each other for a moment before a voice brought their eyes to the door, "Well this looks familiar…"
Folken walked in the room, the door shutting quietly behind him. He glanced at the two on the floor and brought his hand to his head, his fingers rubbing his temples, "It's too early for this…" He mumbled to himself.
Hitomi blushed. Dilandau growled.
"Get out…" He warned, a dangerous gleam coming to his eyes.
Folken chuckled sardonically, "I see you're back to your old self again." He sighed thanking the gods for this improvement. Every time he was summoned by Emperor Dornkirk, he seemed to take a relapse into heartless, cruel bastard mode. It was as if he was turned into what his old teacher used to be… and no one like his old teacher. Lord Folken had been disappointed with Dilandau's first kill but he was relieved to see that guy dead, "Make sure to fool those who check up on you… especially around her…"
Dilandau growled but nodded his thanks, "Is there a reason you are disturbing us this morning, Lord Folken?"
Folken glanced at the bed, and wrinkled his nose in distaste, "I just came to warn you that people are coming from the city under Emperor Dornkirk's command. They are coming to check up on your progress from your… appointment with them earlier this week. They will be disguised. Keep your façade in the halls and battle. Only when you are sure that you're alone can you… do… whatever the hell you… do."
Folken walked over to the bed and picked something up from the bed, "I believe these are yours, Miss Kanzaki." He held up a silky black thong dangling on his index finger. Dilandau growled and started to get up reaching out for the undergarment. Hitomi blushed a deeper shade of red and grabbed Dilandau, pulling his body firmly back against her own.
He gave her a puzzled look and then smirked, bucking his hips into her suggestively.
She bit her bottom lip and shook her head. He looked at her confused again. She rolled her eyes, "You have the sheet."
He snorted and rolled off of her, leaving the sheet over her. Folken seemed unfazed as Dilandau stood up naked and snatched the underwear from his finger, "Anything else?"
Folken turned and punched in the code for the door. It slid to the side and Folken glanced back at the two of them. Hitomi was now siting up, the sheet clutched to her bosom and Dilandau was aiming the thong at her like a slingshot still completely naked. Folken sighed, "Dilandau, you are so modest." He stepped through the door and left.
"That's what I said!" Hitomi mumbled. Dilandau aimed and… fire!
"HEY! That's my underweeaahhhh!" The silky black thong shot right into Hitomi's face and she fell back off of the bed she had just managed to sit back on, her legs flailing over the side.
Dilandau smirked, "Heads up!" He jumped and slid over the silken sheets… and over the side of the bed he went!
