Oops didn't get to finish updating as I got called away from my computer to study…what's with that?

Chapter 4.

“From the beginning,” the comment echoed in everyone's heads and the silence that followed the comment was quickly turned into an uproar as Weiss demanded explanations.

“What about Ouka?”

That was Omi.

“And Aya?”

Aya.

“Oh and Sakura?”

Aya again.

“And the whole us fighting them thing?”

Ken.

Manx screamed, “Shut up.”

Yohji idly noted that she wasn't earning herself any points.

“I'll explain this once and only once, although I am not obligated to explain to you. You are employees who do what they are told. You are paid to act on orders, not question them.”

Screw that, the redheaded woman had somehow managed to put herself in negative points.

And Aya was fast approaching sub-zero cold, the future did not bode well for Manx.

“Good! Now listen: Schwarz approached Kritiker when they entered Japan looking for protection from their old employers, they wanted to break away. We gave them the means, and as for your friends and relatives,” the woman practically sneered the words, “they were merely casualties in the war against Esset.”

Manx had decided to drop the mask that she had been wearing for the whole time that they had known the woman.

Yohji watched Omi's, Ken's and Aya's faces when they realised that Kritiker, Persia and Manx had used them. Yohji was a little bit too cynical to not have suspected otherwise, and he would have thought that Aya was the same, but apparently he wore his rose-coloured glasses as well as the rest of them.

“Didn't you geniuses notice the trend in the names of your groups White and Black?”

Wow, talk about adding salt to the wound.

The woman got up, “By the way Schwartz will be by tomorrow to train you guys.” On that note the woman left.

KD: (had to put this down here so as not to give away): but originally Schwarz wasn't in my story and Manx wasn't a female dog…
