EPILOGUE
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Yohji slowly drifted awake by the realization that he wasn't alone in bed and that the sunlight was creeping back up on his closed eyelids, despite the way he tried to turn his head. A form shifted slightly beside him and for a moment he wondered if he had followed someone home last night, but as a sharp elbow poked him in the guts reality came crashing down again. Opening his eyes, he glanced down at the still sleeping redhead. Aya had tucked his arm under the pillow, the other was resting under his chin. He had his back still turned to Yohji, pressed back against his chest just as he had drifted off last night. The comforter had drifted down and exposed milky white skin to the sun and the green eyed gaze that took on a new light.
Bringing the cloth down a little more, Yohji stared down at his new lover, eyes roaming up and down the smooth skin on his back, noticing the nicks and scars that only highlighted the natural beauty. Still, after satisfying his appetite just a few hours ago, he was starving for another bite and was tempted to wake the redhead up for another round, but after giving the sleeping man a second glance he decided against it. Instead, he settled down again to watch his little kitten sleep away half the day. Aya had never been one to stay in bed for long, whether he was injured or just tired and to watch him like this certainly had its advantages for the blond.
He couldn't stop himself from fingering the smooth skin though, his fingers dancing up and down the spine, bringing little shivers from the sleeping man and he smiled as Aya purred in his sleep. That was a sound he could never get enough off, and he set about to bring out another one as someone suddenly knocked on the door. He cursed silently as Aya stirred, the violet eyes blinking as he realized that he wasn't alone in bed. He turned over to look at Yohji, a look of bewilderment and uncertainty spreading across his features.
"Aya-kun? Have you seen Yohji-kun?" Omi's voice drifted through the closed door and Yohji sprung to life before Aya could move. Grabbing the blanket at the edge of the bed, he wound it around himself as he strode over to the door, opening it a crack and met Omi's startled gasp with a smile.
"Good morning, chibi." Watching as Omi's eyes took on the size of saucers, he chuckled as he heard Aya muttering something suspiciously akin to 'shi-ne Kudoh' from the bed. The smaller blond spluttered as he managed to catch a look on his teammates as Aya stomped over to the door with the comforter around himself. It was just the red mop of hair and his feet along with the violet eyes visible as he glared down both his teammates before pushing Yohji away from the door. The older blond just shrugged and obliged as Aya gave Omi a look that promised a slow and painful death if he as much as considered speaking right then. Slamming the door shut in his face, he turned to Yohji who was still smiling at him in the middle of the room, the blanket dropping down to his hips and giving the redhead quite an eyeful. He snorted as Yohji turned around and crawled back to the bed again, settling down and watched him with an expectant gleam in his eyes.
"Kitten?" That certainly got his attention again, and Aya glared back at the blond who had another of his smug expressions on his face.
"What?"
"Come back to bed?" Trying to hide his intentions with another innocent smile, he watched as Aya rolled his eyes but obliged. He was still tired and the prospect of spending another hour in bed encased in the warmth of Yohji's arms was too tempting for him to really fight it. It was amazing how fast he had begun to consider Yohji his - one night under the hands of the playboy and he was never letting go again.
"Hn." He burrowed himself down under the comforter again, his head tucked under Yohji's chin as he felt the steady beat of the blond's heart. Yohji arranged them so that the sun wouldn't fall on them for some hours yet and watched as Aya's eyes closed again. That hadn't been his original intentions - the kitten was up and therefore it was time to play - but as he realized how tired he still must be, a soft expression flew over his face.
"Aya?" He tried, his voice low. The redhead glanced up at him before resuming his earlier position.
"Mmm?"
"Nothing…" Yohji couldn't hold back another smile as a small snort was the response to that and the younger man clinged to him. One pale hand moved up to his throat, fingering the bruise there and Yohji shivered. The reality came crashing down again as Aya's head rose from his chest, the same gleam as the night before in his eyes. The blond continued to stare at him, not quite sure what to say and how to react, but the look in the redhead's eyes softened a bit before he laid back down again.
"Does it still hurt?" The voice was low, but Yohji heard it anyway. Slipping his hands out in the red hair and combing it for a moment before continuing down to the back of his neck he sighed.
"No. You could have asked first, though…" Chuckling as the glare was back in the violet eyes, he pressed Aya back down again, not wanting to fight him right then.
"You were the one complaining that I was cold." And that was about as much an apology he would ever get out of Aya and he decided to settle for it.
"I know, kitten…" Said little kitty-cat decided to dig his claws into Yohji's arms and he hissed.
"Sorry…" The apology was mumbled against his skin, the ghost of a smile flitting over the pale man's features before he closed his eyes again, relaxing into sleep.
Yohji gazed down at him, watching as the head moved with his breaths for another minute before closing his own eyes. Aya staying in bed voluntarily wasn't something he would pass up, asleep or not.
