Chapter Three: Misunderstanding

I slowly let the beautiful redhead lied down on my bed, his crimson hair spreading widely on the pillow. "Yohji…", he whispered. His voice held that sense of innocent, as if he had never done this before.

"Shhh…Ran. I won't hurt you. Trust me."

I started trailing kisses along his neck and chest, his voice panting softly against my ear. Oh how sinfully he squirms underneath me, rubbing our hips together. "Mmm…Ran, you feel so good." He looks at me; his lashes fluttering opened as I observed the sight before me.

Aya lying naked, panting, his face flushed with desire and lust, his lips slightly bruised and parted, begging for more.

"God Ran…. I can cum just looking at you."

I kissed those soft parted lips and thrust my tongue deeply and caress his mouth. He tasted so soft and cold. I bit his bottom lips as he moaned against me, arching his back as I brushed my fingers along his nipples.

"Uhhh…Yohji. Onegai."

I smiled. Yes, finally he belongs to me. I slid my fingers softly along his thigh as I reach and touched the bud between his legs. His eyes widened as I smiled. He almost looks too good to taste. I teasingly ran my tongue along the sensitive skins and…

"YOHJI! WAKE UP! IT'S YOUR TURN TO OPEN THE SHOP."

I gasped and sat up right. My hair was matted against my forehead, slightly damp as I recalled what I had just dreamed.

"Fuck…." I groaned. Trust the time I am going to have a morning shifts with Aya I had to have a dream like that. I got up and winced as I notice the slightly wet patch on my boxers.

"There is no way I am going to survive today."

"YOHJI HURRY UP! RAN IS DOWN THERE ALREADY!"

"Alright! Coming! Just give me 15 minutes." Sometimes Ken just really gets on my nerves. He's not a bad guy and all, good with kids and his soccer. Oh no…nothing is ever going to take Ken away from his soccer. That guy can just played soccer for god damn how long; I don't understand how Aya would fall in love with him in the first place.

// Yeah that reminds me; I have to do something about Aya. //

I was so annoyed with Ken last night; I didn't get out of my room. He is definitely not taking Aya back if he thinks I won't stop him. I grabbed a pair of jeans and a loose green shirt as I stumbled to the bathroom.

I guess the only thing to spoil those two would to let Ken in a little secret. I smirked.

// Let's see how jealous Mr former soccer player can get. //

"Ran, I promised I'll coach the kids today. I'll be back later in the afternoon okay."

"Sure. Don't worry, me and Yohji can handle the shop while you are gone." Aya smiled sweetly at me as he gathered the roses for his flower arrangements. The doctor said he still shouldn't work too hard but Aya insisted he would help out since he got nothing better to do. It was hard trying to tell him that his imouto is actually overseas studying in college and his parents were not around. Yet Aya seems to take this quite calmly and even said he doesn't mind as long as he got us with him.

"Okay, I see you later then." I brushed my lips against his as he amethyst eyes opened slightly in surprised. Aya had said he wanted to be friends, but then again he had never pushed me away. I think he is still confused about the whole situation but I intend to get Aya back whether I have to wait a lifetime or not.

"Ken…I…" His cheeks were slightly pink and I chuckled. Maybe Aya been Ran wasn't that bad after all.

"What are you laughing about?" He looks confusingly at me.

"Nothing Ran." I kissed him softly again. "I'll see you later ne. Don't work too hard and make sure Yohji helps you out."

I stepped into the cold chilly air and made my way towards the nearest park where I'll be meeting the kids. Saturday was usually a much more relaxing time ever since Weiss had been disbanded. I began to feel there is happiness in my life again because Aya will always be with me.

Yet something at the back of my mind tells me it may not be that simple.

I began my flower arrangements as soon as Ken had left. It had been nice when Ken had held me in his arms the other day. He had been so nice to me and has been looking after me ever since I came back from the hospital. I was so worried when we have not being talking to each other for days and glad we sorted them out. I admit I was so nervous when I saw him starring at me when I was at the balcony. I didn't realised why I was even there, it just felt very comfortable and I had wanted to spent some time by myself that I didn't even notices he was starring at me for quite some time.

I looked up at the clock. 7:30am. Yohji has been late for an hour already since the shop opened. Is he going to come down at all? I shifted uncomfortably as I remembered what happened the last time Yohji was in my room. I had been so tired that day and after taking the meds I just wanted to go to sleep. Yohji had been so nice to me but I was a bit surprised when he pulled me up against him. I was just so shocked I didn't know what to do but he said he wouldn't hurt me and I believed him. I know Yohji will never hurt me.

// So what are you going to do now? //

I'm so confused. I don't understand. Ken had told me we were lovers but then Yohji had been making all these moves on me. I don't know if Yohji is just playing around with me or if he really cares at all. I don't know if he is just doing this to me just to make me more confused. I shake my head and focused on my flower arrangement again.

// I really shouldn't think about this at all //

I made my way causally towards the shop knowing I'm already late. There's no need to rush when I have the whole day with the beautiful redhead by myself. Now I only have to make sure what time Ken gets back.

I smiled.

This would get interesting indeed.

"Ohayoo Ran." I made myself straight to the counter where he was working. Ran was wearing a purple sweater and blue jeans. His eyes were partly covered with the red bangs around his forehead. His lips were held tightly together, deep in concentration as his delicate pale hands moved about arranging the flowers.

I had never realised someone can be so damn gorgeous in the morning.

Ran looks up at me un-expectantly, only realising I was just there and blinks innocently at me. "Oh…Yohji…you're here. I thought you would never come down. You said you would opened the shop with me." His lips pouted slightly and I suddenly remembered the dream I had with him this morning.

// Yeah he sure looks good to eat doesn't he? //

I mentally hit myself on the head, telling that annoying voice of mine to go away and focused back my attention on the kitten. "Gomen ne Ran. I didn't sleep well last night." Well actually I was too busy dreaming about a certain redhead moaning against me.

I cursed quietly to myself.

"You didn't sleep well?" he asked. " I'm sorry you had to take the morning shifts but Ken already promised he would coach the kids today at the park."

"Don't worry about it." I waved off the comment. I'm glad that clumsy whiz is playing soccer. Gives Aya and me more time to get to know one another. I smiled to myself. I certainly can't wait till this day is over.

Aya continued to focus on his flower arrangement as I made my way to the register and carefully stood behind him watching over his shoulder. Morning shifts is always good on Saturday mornings. Hardly any customers are around and I don't have to flirt with all those schoolgirls roaming over me.

I placed one of my hands on the counter and leaned slightly against Aya until my head rested just above his shoulder. He seems to register what I just did and stiffens completely as I whispered huskily in his ear.

"So what are you making?"

I can see he was trying to fumble with the roses and placing them carefully around each other. I breathed in his beautiful scents of roses, so over whelming for me that I took the opportunity to move closer to him. I wrapped my arm around his slender waist and pulled him against me. He gasped and drops the roses as I nibbled on his ear.

"Yoh…Yohji…what are you doing?"

"Hmmm..?"

His body fitted so well against mine. So warm and beautiful I began to trail kisses along his neck. Aya was panting softly and I felt him struggling to stay up right. I smirked and tightened my arm around him and used my thigh to support his weight.

I can feel myself slowly hardened just to have his body so close to mine. My other hand slid up against his sweater and touched the warm smooth skin inside.

// God Ran….you feel so good //

"Yohji!" he gasped.

He turned his crimson head to face me, making our noses touching each other. Pink spots highlighted his cheek as he blushed at this sudden closeness. I starred at those soft petal lips and couldn't help myself to brush mine against his.

His violet eyes widened in disbelief as he clutched onto my shoulders. I forced him to open his lips wider and brush my tongue along his bottom lips.

"Hmmm….Ran."

Suddenly the jingled of bells could be heard and I was pushed away quickly as Ran darted to the back room and shut the door.

A customer had just walked in missing what had happened minutes ago. I put on my seductive smile and greeted her warmly.

// This is just the beginning Ran //

* * * * * * * *

"See you next week!" I waved at the kids as their parents took them home.

The afternoon sun shone onto my back as I picked up the soccer ball and made my way towards the shop. For once I felt everything is turning out right that my life is back to normal again. I remembered thinking when I was an assassin if I could ever live my life the way I had wanted to years ago. Now that Weiss has disbanded, life had being so much better thinking I don't have to kill again.

I hummed softly to myself as the wind shuffles through my hair. I wonder how Aya is working with Yohji the whole day. Hope he didn't get Aya to do all the work for him. I frowned slightly. Yohji sure has been acting rather strange lately. He had been waking up early in the morning to work in the shop and looking after Aya quite a lot.

Some schoolgirls looked shyly at me and giggled. I blushed and walked quickly away.

Maybe he was just trying to look after Aya since that terrible accident. He couldn't possibly have a thing for him could he? He knows Aya and me was a couple before.

// Or does he really like him //

I began to walk faster towards the shop as something troubled inside me. Something definitely is wrong and I intend to find out.

* * * * * * *

Aya had most certainly haven't spoken to me since our little incident earlier. He stayed behind the counter practically the whole day and avoided me whenever he saw me starring at him.

// I have to do something about that //

I knew I went too fast for him this morning but god I couldn't help it with that body of his pressed so close against me and his silky hair brushing my cheeks. The last customer left the shop as I closed the door and put the sign up. Before Aya flees upstairs I grabbed him by the wrist and spun him around. His amethyst eyes finally made contact with mine as I can see confusion written all over his face.

I sighed. "Look Ran. Sorry about this morning. I didn't mean to scare you off like that."

Aya shifted his glaze and decided that the floor has a far more interesting pattern to focus at rather than me. Shit! I hope I haven't ruined it.

"Ran…don't ignore me."

His voice was so soft I had to lean down to hear him properly. "Yohji…why are you doing this to me? I…I don't understand what you want from me."

I couldn't help it as I brushed the silky strands away from his eyes and tilted his chin so he looked into my eyes.

"Because…." I whispered. " I care about you Ran…and I think I'm in love with you."

// That's right…he will definitely fall for that //

Ran eyes widened even more and I leaned in and brushed softly on those parted lips.

"Yohji….I…" Emotions flicked across his eyes as I kissed him again.

Suddenly the jingle of bells was heard and we both turned towards the voice.

"Aya I'm back! How was…."

Ken stood starring in disbelief as he tried to overcome the situation he just walked into. Betrayal, hate, jealousy and anger drifted so quickly in his eyes as Aya trembled beside me. I gripped his hand tightly to reassure him and gaze challengingly at Ken.

// Don't think you're the only one that owns him Hidaka //

The silence in the room was deafening.
