The next morning Hiroseki woke up to the rays of sunlight shinning through the window. "Mmm, morning already?" Hiroseki asked sitting up and looking around the room noticing Kiba and the others were gone. "Kiba!?" Hiroseki called out panicking. "Don't worry Hiroseki, we're here now." Toboe said walking in the door with a bag of clothes and setting it by Hiroseki. "What's this?" Hiroseki asked looking through the bag of clothes. "We found your house and brought you some clothes." Hige said.

"Thank you but how did you know which room was mine?" Hiroseki asked pulling out her violet dress. "Your room is the only one that smells like rain." Kiba said.

"Oh really, now if you guys will excuse me I'll go change." Hiroseki said getting up and walking into another room. "Okay how come Kiba gets a mate and we don't?" Hige asked. "I'm surprised she hasn't ran from us yet." Tsume said. "What's that suppose to mean Tsume." Toboe asked. "Every person we seem to meet up with is either a wolf hunter or someone that hates wolves. Don't you think it's kinda strange that she stays with us, instead of running?" Tsume asked.

"Oh Tsume lighten up you've been with humans before so you can put up with Hiroseki." Hige said. "Hige's right I don't know where her wolves are and her sister's gone, so we're going to have to look out for her." Kiba said walking over to where he had slept the night before and grabbed his jacket and put it on as Hiroseki walked out of the room. "That's much better, thank you guys for getting my clothes." Hiroseki said.

"Tell me something why don't you run away from us?" Tsume asked. "Hiroseki looked at Tsume and blinked a few times. "Why should I, mean I'm pretty used to wolves seeing as how two of them are my surrogate parents I'm not afraid of wolves as most of the people in this town are." Hiroseki said sitting down on the couch.

"You know we can't stay in this town." Kiba said sitting down beside Hiroseki. "Oh don't worry I'll come with you if that's what your asking." Hiroseki said looking up at Kiba. "It would be better if you stayed here." Tsume said. "Tsume." Toboe said.

"Don't like humans do you, well I'm not about to let some wolf tell me what to, and what not to do. I run as fast as you guys can if not faster so be quiet." Hiroseki said standing up and glaring at Tsume. "Uh Hiroseki I wouldn't mess with him if I were you." Hige said. "Your right I would only be wasting my time with him, so when are we leaving?" Hiroseki asked. "We really should leave now if we don't want the hunters on our tails." Kiba said looking at the others. "How fast can you run Hiroseki?" Kiba asked.

"I can run about five miles before I get tired." Hiroseki said. "Okay, come on let's go." Hige said. "Yeah let's get out of this dump." Tsume said. "Hiroseki once we get out of this house you'll have to run because that lady and the man that held you hostage know we're wolves." Hige said. "Don't worry I can keep up, I know a shortcut out of here if we get into trouble." Hiroseki said walking towards the front door.

"You don't want to take anything with you?" Toboe asked. "It'll only slow me down." Hiroseki said looking back at Toboe. "Oh ok." Toboe said as he and the others walked out the door of the small house. "So far so good." Kiba said until he felt something fly past him. "Hunters run." Tsume said as Hiroseki and the others took off running. "Hey where's this this shortcut of yours?" Tsume asked avoiding a bullet that was flying towards him. "This way." Hiroseki said turning a corner as the gate to the city approached. "Boy that was short." Hige said as the small group grabbed onto the gate and climbed up and jumped over and ran until the city was nowhere in sight.

"Told you I could keep up with you." Hiroseki said. "So where do we go from here?" Toboe asked. "There's a forest not far from here, let's go there." Kiba said running as the others followed behind him.

***Night***

"Night time has fallen and Kiba and his pack are now resting in a forest getting ready for the next day. "Night everyone." Hige said. "Night." Toboe said. "Hey where's Hiroseki at?" Kiba asked worriedly. "Don't worry she couldn't have gotten far." Hige said laying down and closing his eyes.

"I'm going to go look for her." Kiba said getting up and heading into the trees to look for Hiroseki. An hour had passed since he began looking for Hiroseki and Kiba was beginning to worry about Hiroseki, they had only met a day ago and already Kiba felt close to her, not the kind of close like brother and sister close but lover close.

I know that you're hiding things,
using gentle words to shelter me.
Your words were like a dream,
But dreams could never fool me.
Not that easily.

Was that Hiroseki's voice he was hearing? No it couldn't have been her, but something told him he should go towards the voice that was singing. Following his instinct and the voice he ran until he got to a small clearing where Hiroseki was singing.

I acted so distant then.
Didn't say goodbye before you left,
But I was listening.
You'll fight your battles far from me.
Far too easily.

Gods but that girl had a beautiful voice, a million thoughts were running through Kiba's head a the moment, one of them was to walk out from his hiding space and go up to Hiroseki and hold her. The other was to hold her and tell her everything will be okay.

"Save your tears, 'cause I'll come back,"
I could hear that you whispered as you walked through that door,
But still I swore to hide that pain when I turned back the pages.
Shouting might've been the answer.

Kiba saw a few tears fall from Hiroseki's eyes. Gods was she crying? Now Kiba wanted more than anything else to run from his spot hiding behind a tree and hug Hiroseki and comfort her, but decided against it for fear of scaring her.

What if I cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart?
But now I'm not afraid to say what's in my heart.

Depart? What depart what was Hiroseki speaking about, Kiba wasn't about to leave Hiroseki alone and on her own. Did she have another dream? Perhaps the two would depart someday Kiba hoped to hell and back again that they didn't have to separate especially since they had just met only a day ago.

'Cause a thousand words called through the ages,
They'll fly to you, even though I can't see.
I know they're reaching you, suspended on silver wings!

Kiba continued to watch Hiroseki sing her song. Was her song about them? Was it about her and someone she had known long ago and the two were separated by a road so rough that it had left her emotionally scared? Was it Kiba that was making her hurt, that was making her feel the pain she was feeling in her heart. "I hope not." Kiba said quietly.

Oh, a thousand words.
One thousand embraces...
Will cradle you, making all of your weary days seem far away.
They'll hold you forever

If only Kiba could hold Hiroseki a thousand times. Would that make her happy, or would it make her even sadder? Kiba had gone through hellfire and brimstone to find Hiroseki and he wasn't about to let her go not so soon, especially when he knew so little about the person that was crying her heart out to the gods at that very moment.

Oh, a thousand words [A thousand words...]
Have never been spoken, [Oh, yeah.]
They'll fly to you,
They'll carry you home and back into my arms, [Carry you home...!]
Suspended on silver wings! [On silver wings!]

That was it he couldn't take it anymore he just had to go to her and comfort her and stop the pain she was feeling in her heart and to ease the pains of guilt in his heart for not comforting her when she needed it the most.

And a thousand words, [Ooh...]
Called out through the ages, [Called through the ages.]
They'll cradle you, turning all of the loving into only days... [Only days.]
They'll hold you forever.

Almost there he was only within a few feet of Hiroseki. "Please let me take her into my arms, don't let her turn around." Kiba thought walking up to Hiroseki and wrapping his arms around her shoulders pulled her close to him as she sang the last few words of her song and tears fell from his eyes into her hair.

Oh, a thousand words...

"Hiroseki." Kiba said quietly and hugged Hiroseki closer to him. "Huh, Kiba what are you doing here?" Hiroseki asked turning around and looking at Kiba. "I was worried for you and came out here to look for you." Kiba said. "Why are you crying are you hurt?" Hiroseki asked wiping away a few of Kiba's tears.

"No I'm fine." Kiba said hugging Hiroseki. The two stayed like that in that spot neither moving for fear that it was all a dream and if they let go the dream would end.
