Paul watched with narrowed eyes as Chris got off the bed and walked toward the other side of the hotel room. He grits his teeth trying to stay calm as he questioned, “So you mean to tell me that I wasted my fucking time coming here to warn you about Jason? This is just great. I ruined a night of drinking thanks to you and Adam. So, genius, let me guess, you and Jason fucked. Am I correct?”
Chris rested a hand to his forehead for a minute before exhaling profoundly. “I’m not sure…”
Immediately Paul interrupted, “You’re not sure? What do you mean… you either fucked Jason or you didn’t?”
“I‘m not going to lie, I did hang out with Jason right before Wrestlemania. He invited me back to his hotel room for a few drinks. I had two glasses of Vodka, afterwards I don’t remember anything. The next morning, I woke up unclothed beside Jason,” said Chris as a few tears formed in his eyes. He looked at Paul for a long moment and softly adds. “He had no clothes on neither. I honestly can’t remember if Jason and I had sex. If I did, I’m not sure if I’ll ever forgive myself for hurting Ken. I love him more than anything in this world. I can’t lose him. Not ever.”
Paul listened to Chris and sighs, “Of course you don’t remember, Chris, because you were probably drunk. Vodka is a poison. It’ll make a person do the most unforgiving things especially if you drink enough of it.”
Chris frowns, “Excuse me, Paul, but I think I can handle my liquor. Two glasses of Vodka is peanuts to me.”
“Apparently, you can’t “handle your liquor” since you don’t remember anything that you’ve done with Jason pass the alcohol,” Paul grew frustrated and shakes his head. “Deny it all you want, Chris. Just admit it, you’re a little whore and Ken is just beginning to realize that. I’m surprised it took him this long to discover your true colors.”
“Stop it!” Chris screamed as tears descend from flushed eyes. He puts a few fingers in his hair and turns away from the huge blond wrestler. “Stop condemning me. You’re not so perfect.”
Paul observed the distraught Canadian with a satisfied sneer before moving closer. He speaks above a whisper, “I’m not the one with tears falling down my face.” Chris turned sharply to look at Paul, before he could say anything, the older wrestler adds, “Why don’t you do the right thing for once, tell Ken the truth.”
Chris glanced down at the floor as fresh tears form. “I can’t because I don’t know the truth.” He lifts his face to stare dead into Paul’s eyes. “You have to believe me.”
“I’m not the one that you have to worry about believing you. If you want my opinion, I think Ken could do so much better.”
Chris lifted a hand to dry his tears as he frowns at Paul’s last words, which really got to him. A part of Chris agreed with him especially if he cheated on Ken. He’d never be able to forgive himself for hurting the one person that meant more to him than life.

Jason quickly grabbed for the plate of nachos that he made in the microwave and a glass of Dr. Pepper before making his way over to sit in a chair close to the nightstand and in front of the television. He sits his drink onto a coaster on the nightstand before reaching over to turn on the lamp and than grab for the remote. Jason turns on the box and immediately the name “Ken Kennedy” was heard, the Canadian lifted an eyebrow as finally he caught his first glimpse of the man that was fucking his ex-lover now.
Gradually resentment filled Jason’s eyes as he glared at the light haired blond on his television screen. He grabbed for a cheese covered chip and munches on it as he watched Ken wrestle a dark haired man with the words “straightedge” tattooed on his stomach.
“So that’s Ken. Hmm… well, as soon as I’m done, Ken, you will be out of Chris’ life and I’ll take your place right by his side.” Jason turned toward the nightstand to reach for his cell phone. He laughs maliciously as he texted another message to Chris.

Cody Rhodes released a jaded sigh as he waited for Ken, Lance and Alvin to return from playing pool in the game room inside the bar. He lowers his head into the bend of his arms on the table top, only to be startled by the sudden sounds of AC/DC’s “Back In Black”. He sits up straight and looks around until his eyes land on a cell phone peaking out from the pocket of a Green Bay Packers’ jacket that Ken once wore and was now lying on the seat across from him. He hesitated slightly before reaching over to grab for the phone. He flips it open and grew confused as a text message appeared on the screen:
Chris, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you since our special night together. I hope to see you again, soon. --Jason Reso
The young brunette lifted a curious eyebrow as he instantly realized the cell belonged to Chris. His eyes grew sad as a thought ran through his mind, maybe Ken was right. Maybe Chris is cheating on him. Cody stared down at the phone for a long moment and was ready to return it to where it belonged until he heard the sound of Ken’s voice and the other wrestlers nearby. He quickly shoves the phone into his own coat pocket. Ken was one of his close friends and he couldn’t let him see that text message. He knew how much it’d kill Ken. So before they could reach the table, Cody got up and quickly left the bar.
Ken narrowed his eyes in confusion and glanced at Alvin and Lance with a feeble laugh. “Well that was strange. I wonder where Cody was going in a hurry.”
Alvin shrugs, “Beats me. Cody has always been a bit on the weird side, anyways.”

“That was a close call,” breathes Cody as he glanced back at the entrance of the bar. He glanced down at the small screen of Chris’ cell phone, sighing as his hazel eyes scanned the text message yet again. How could Chris cheat on Ken? Ken was a decent man and didn’t deserve to be treated that way. Cody had to find a way to tell him.
Cody placed the cell phone back into the pocket of his jacket before taking a step forward away from the bar’s doorstep, only to run right into Smackdown superstar, Adam Copeland ‘causing Chris’ phone to slide out of Cody’s pocket by accident. The young wrestler observed with horror filled eyes as the cell crashed to the ground in pieces. He cursed beneath his breath.
The tall Toronto native looked suspiciously at Cody before glancing down toward the ground to find the shattered phone. He bends to scoop the item into the palm of his hand before standing and immediately he recognized it. “Uh, do you want to explain why you have Chris’ cell?”
Cody stared at Adam for a long time. He didn’t trust him well enough to tell about Jason’s text message. “I… I…”
Adam grew frustrated when Cody begins to stutter. “Damnit, Cody, answer me!”
“I stole it!” Cody lies.
“You stole what?”
Cody’s eyes expand at the unexpected voice that spoke. He turns and finds Ken standing behind him with a perplexed expression upon his face. Cody sighs softly to himself, there was no way he could hide anything now. He just hoped Ken believed him even though the proof was gone.
The short haired brunette took a huge guff of air before exhaling. “Ken, I think you’re right. I think Chris is cheating on you.”
Ken tilted his head slightly at Cody’s words and hurt filled his misty eyes. He didn’t need to be reminded that the love of his life could possibly be sleeping with another man behind his back. His voice gradually begins to break. “I… I know… I know… you don’t have to…” Ken doesn’t finish his sentence; instead he covers his face and silently wept.
Adam rested a hospitable hand on Ken’s shoulder before softly asking, “But what if Chris is actually innocent?”
“No way,” Cody shakes his head at Adam’s words. He wasn’t reluctant to disagree. “Chris cheated on Ken. I know.”
“Oh and do you have any proof?” Adam asked as he stared at Cody.
Cody rolls his eyes. “No, I don’t, thanks to you running into me and ‘causing Chris’ phone to crash into the ground… I had…”
“What!” Ken didn’t hesitate to interrupt the other wrestler at the sound of his last words. “How could you do this to me, Cody? I had it all figured out! I already knew about Chris cheating on me! I found a disturbing text message from Jason Reso before Wrestlemania and I was going to confront Chris about it. Now thanks to you, Cody, running out of the bar with Chris’ phone, I have no proof that he fucked around on me!”
Adam rolled his eyes as Ken argued with Cody. He placed a hand on the other blond’s shoulder as he speaks, “Calm down, Ken. I think you’re blowing things way out of proportion.”
Immediately Ken shrugs Adam’s hand away and sharply turns to face him. Bitterly, he questions, “Oh really now, how do I know that you’re not responsible for your little ex-tag team buddy getting in my man’s pants?”
Adam frowns at Ken’s accusation. If Jason wanted to stir up problems, well he’s definitely succeeding in that department. As much as Adam liked Jason, he hoped everything eventually ends up biting him in his ass.
