Enjoy!

chaos felt warm and secure, nestled against Canaan on the sofa. The television was droning on in the background, but he had tuned it out. Canaan's arms were around him while the Realian watched the news. The silver haired boy in Canaan's arms had no interest in the news at the moment. He didn't want to hear about bad things. This moment was where he wanted to be right now, here with Canaan.
Canaan raised one hand and began to gently run his fingers through chaos' silver hair. chaos had his sightless eyes closed and he snuggled closer to his Realian lover. The room was quiet, except for the droning of the television.
Canaan shut the television off, having seen enough of the news. He turned his attention to his dozing boyfriend. chaos was still very frail, his weight not quite back up to normal. It had been two months since his discharge from the hospital. The experience had changed the young man, making him quieter and more reserved. He preferred to stay around either their apartment on Second Miltia (where they were now) or their rooms on either the Durandal or Elsa.
The silver haired youth didn't see their friends as much anymore either. It was like he was trying to shut them out of his life. This wasn't unexpected, as the doctors had told everyone that chaos most likely had suffered psychological trauma as well and most likely felt ashamed at what had happened to him.
Canaan still didn't know what chaos had gone through when he had been imprisoned by U-TIC. The Realian had asked before, only to have chaos completely ignore him for two days afterwards. He hadn't spoken about it again, knowing that chaos would tell him when he felt ready.
For now, he was content to provide support and love to his changed boyfriend.
Canaan smiled at the peaceful look on chaos' face. The other looked so content; he didn't have the heart to wake him up just yet. Besides, there wasn't anywhere that he needed to be, so he could stay here a little while longer.
He was glad that chaos seemed to be doing better. Though he wasn't 100% yet, the boy was slowly regaining his strength back. Canaan continued to worry about the boy's weight, however. He was concerned that chaos was still dangerously thin. Though doctors had told him otherwise, Canaan still worried.
chaos cuddled closer in his sleep, pressed up against Canaan. Canaan smiled again and carefully reached over the back of the sofa for the blanket draped there. He pulled it over both of them and settled down for a nap.

chaos woke feeling rather warm and content. After lying where he was for several seconds, he remembered that he had been on the couch with Canaan. Therefore, he must still be there. He could feel Canaan still beside him, it seemed that the Realian had fallen asleep. There was also a blanket over them that hadn't been there before.
The boy smiled at the picture this created in his mind. It seemed (and felt) quite cozy. He snuggled back against Canaan, content to be there a little longer. Canaan hadn't woken him up before and he felt that he should return the favor.
Canaan's always been here for me…I don't want to ever be apart from him again…
He was content to lie there and listen to Canaan's heartbeat.
If only things like this would last forever…

Canaan smiled at the confused look on chaos' face.
The boy held the kitten in his hands, confused. The little black and white ball of fur purred and licked at his fingers.
“She's yours,” Canaan said quietly. “For when I have to go to work, so you're not lonely.”
chaos held the kitten against his cheek, smiling as she bestowed more `kitty kisses' on his skin.
“Thank you,” he whispered. The kitten mewed adorably, purring so much that her tiny body was shaking. She had a little white collar on with a tiny silver bell on it. That way chaos could hear where she was around the apartment.
“She doesn't have a name yet,” Canaan said. “I wanted to leave that up to you, since she's yours. She's black and white colored.”
chaos settled the kitten in his lap, the little fluffball curling up and purring as she catnapped. He petted her while thinking of a name for her.
“Abby,” he said finally. “Her name's Abby.”
The little kitten continued catnapping, a tiny ball of black and white fur.
Canaan sat beside chaos on the sofa and carefully put an arm around him.
“I'm glad you like her,” he said quietly. “I saw her for sale today while I was out and knew that I had to get her for you.”
chaos rested his head on Canaan's shoulder. The blind boy loved his present. It would be nice to have the little kitten around.
The two sat there for a while, neither one wanting to disturb the new addition to the apartment.

-end chapter-
Yeah, this was a little shorter than the other chapters. But I kinda ran out of fluffy ideas for it. Oops.
Review please and no flames!
