Chapter Two: Choices
The rain pours outside. It is different to see the clouded sky when this place never really has rain. Sighing to the dark room, Tsuzuki stares out his window. With what happened last week, Tatsumi gave Tsuzuki work none stop. As he leans his head against the cold window, Tsuzuki mumbles, "I understand his concern, but I can handle myself." All his desires are raising again and Tsuzuki needs to release them. This was the reason he never wanted to release them in the first place. Hearing a knock, Tsuzuki replies, "Door's open. Come in." He silently hopes it is not his partner. With his demon senses on high, Tsuzuki will never forgive himself if he does anything to his partner. As he turns to see who walked in, Tsuzuki sighs to see Tatsumi standing there. While lighting up a cigarette to calm down, Tsuzuki asks, "What do you want, Tatsumi?"
Observing the apartment, Tatsumi worries even more. The last time he was at his friend's home, it was a mess. To his surprise, everything is clean. As he looks up, Tatsumi speaks his worry, "You have not been the same since last week."
Hearing this speech every day, Tsuzuki mumbles, "This is me. This is a side no one wants to see." As he watches the grey smoke raise to the ceiling, Tsuzuki realizes no one would believe him. After all this time, they have seen the side he made up for their sakes. This is the real him. A man who desires a man who is like him in so many ways. There is no love between Tsuzuki and Muraki, but lust for each other. Putting his cigarette out, Tsuzuki resorts, "I'm fine. I need time to think."
Touching Tsuzuki's shoulder, Tatsumi replies, "This is not you, Tsuzuki-san."
As he smacks Tatsumi's hand away, Tsuzuki responds, "You don't want to believe it." With his demon blood calling out, Tsuzuki leans and kisses Tatsumi on the lips. Now, that his desires are out, there is nothing to stop them. All Tsuzuki wants is to feel complete. Never breaking the kiss, Tsuzuki pushes Tatsumi into his bedroom. Taking off Tatsumi's work coat off with ease, Tsuzuki tries to stop this from happening.
Feeling Tsuzuki's soft lips pressed against his own, Tatsumi leans more into the kiss. All the thoughts about the consequences are out the door. As he finds himself in Tsuzuki's bedroom, Tatsumi stops and asks, "Are you sure?" When Tsuzuki nods his head, Tatsumi lays Tsuzuki down on the bed. He takes off his glasses and puts them on the night stand next to the bed. With Tsuzuki panting from the kiss, Tatsumi strips his clothes off. All this time, he wondered what it would be like to have Tsuzuki this way.
Watching Tatsumi take off his work clothes, Tsuzuki feels himself grow even more. Is this what the demon part wants? Will it be okay to use Tatsumi this way? With Tatsumi near him all the time, Tsuzuki knows he can't see Muraki to stop the cravings. After his clothes are gone from his body, Tsuzuki feels the warmth from Tatsumi. It is not the same as Muraki's warmth. As he feels Tatsumi kiss down his body, Tsuzuki buckles his hips to rub against Tatsumi's hardened cock and moans, "Tatsumi." The only man Tsuzuki will call by his first name would be Muraki. When he feels the warmth around his hardened cock, Tsuzuki tosses his head back. With all the pleasure running through his body, Tsuzuki knows this is not same pleasure from Muraki. How can he compare two different men like this? It is not fair to either of them, but Tsuzuki wants Muraki. All his thoughts lead to the night with Muraki and makes him thrust into the warm wet mouth.
When he feels the warm seed release inside his mouth, Tatsumi swallows. Not sure if he should continue this, Tatsumi asks, "Is this what you want?" When Tsuzuki nods his head again, Tatsumi prepares Tsuzuki's tight entrance for something much bigger. While thrusting his fingers inside Tsuzuki, Tatsumi sucks on Tsuzuki's neck.
As he feels the fingers inside of him, Tsuzuki thinks, "This is nothing like Kazutaka. It is not the same." Why couldn't he fall for Tatsumi? Why couldn't he desire Tatsumi the same way as Muraki? When Tatsumi thrusts into him, Tsuzuki screams out his one night lover's name, "Tatsumi!" He wishes it was faster and harder. There is the difference, Muraki fucks him fast and hard to calm down his demon, and Tatsumi does it slow like a lover would. Tsuzuki doesn't wish for a lover. He wishes for a good fuck to tame his demon blood. No one would understand that natural. That is the reason Tsuzuki has never gone to his friends for this before. This does nothing to calm down his demon desires. Why is it different? While feeling a hand over his once again hardened cock, Tsuzuki shouts, "Tatsumi!" Still thinking of Muraki, Tsuzuki feels the guilt of thinking of a different man while being with Tatsumi. Why does it have to be this way?
Feeling the muscles around his cock, Tatsumi cums inside Tsuzuki with his lover's name rolling off his lips, "Asato."
After Tatsumi pulls out and lays next to him, Tsuzuki stares at the ceiling and thinks, "There was nothing. Kazutaka is the only one who can calm down this demon inside of me." When he feels arms around his naked body, Tsuzuki relaxes in Tatsumi's embrace. There is no point in hurting his friend any more. He has done enough to scar Tatsumi for the rest of his afterlife. Why did he have to surrender into his demon wishes? Two hours go by and Tsuzuki looks over to find Tatsumi sound asleep. Without waking Tatsumi, Tsuzuki dresses quickly. He needs to find Muraki before he harms any of his friends. Looking over the sleeping Tatsumi, Tsuzuki mumbles, "I'm so sorry, Tatsumi." As he steps out his apartment's door, Tsuzuki runs into Watari. With one look at his friend, Tsuzuki knows Watari is worried about Tatsumi. Leaning against the wall, Tsuzuki whispers, "He is inside. Tell him, I'm sorry I couldn't return those feelings."
Before Tsuzuki can run away, Watari grabs his arm and asks, "What happened, Tsuzuki?"
With guilt in his eyes, Tsuzuki answers, "I slept with him." That was all Watari needed to hear to release Tsuzuki's arm. Turning down the hall, Tsuzuki replies, "I'm sorry, Watari." After all, Tsuzuki knows how Watari feels for the shadow master. This is all he can do now. He disappears to find Muraki. When he appears before Muraki's friend, Tsuzuki drops to the ground and explains, "I need Muraki."
As he looks over the purple eye guardian, Oriya asks, "Why?" When Tsuzuki grabs his clothes with pleading eyes, Oriya uses his cell phone to call his friend.
After three rings, Muraki answers, "Hello, Oriya. What can I do for you today?"
Rolling his eyes, Oriya yells, "Damn bastard! I have your purple eyes here begging for you!"
Muraki resorts, "All right. I will be there in ten minutes. Oh, keep him away from anyone."
The phone goes dead before he can ask why. Helping Tsuzuki to the porch, Oriya explains, "He will be here in a little while. What the hell is wrong with you?" When Oriya helped Tsuzuki to the porch, he felt the fever. He worries for the guardian.
Looking up at the sky, Tsuzuki chocks out, "Demon." He knows that Oriya will not understand what he is talking about, but that is the only word he can get out of his mouth. Within five minutes, Tsuzuki sees Muraki walk over to them. Grabbing onto Muraki with fear in his eyes, Tsuzuki asks, "What is going on?" Never feeling this way before, Tsuzuki fears something is wrong with him.
Kneeling beside his guardian, Muraki rubs Tsuzuki's back and answers, "It is nothing for you to worry about, Tsuzuki-san. You are not use to letting your demon side take over." He wonders if Tsuzuki was with someone else tonight. As he looks up to see Oriya, Muraki asks, "Is it all right if we stay here the night?" When Oriya nods his head, Muraki helps Tsuzuki walk inside. It is time for Muraki to explain everything to Tsuzuki. After they get into Muraki's quest room, he asks, "Who were you with tonight?"
Hearing the hatred within Muraki's voice, Tsuzuki looks down at the floor and whimpers, "Tatsumi." Why does he feel like he betrayed Muraki? Why would it matter? He is not Muraki's lover. They hate each other even if they lust after each other. As he feels a hand lift his chin to look into Muraki's eyes, Tsuzuki yelps when he is smack in the face. While rubbing his cheek, Tsuzuki yells, "What the hell was that for!?"
After taking a seat on the chair near the window, Muraki explains, "You are a fool. With your demon blood in front, you can't sleep with anyone but me. You could have killed your friends, Tsuzuki-san."
Falling onto the floor, Tsuzuki shakes his head in denial. There is no way Muraki is telling the truth. As he observes Muraki, Tsuzuki feels like he is on fire once again. Why did he release those desires? While turning away from Muraki's eyes, Tsuzuki asks, "Why would you care if I kill my friends?"
As he pulls Tsuzuki onto his lap, Muraki whispers, "Because you will kill yourself, Tsuzuki-san. I am the only one who can calm down your demon blood."
Meanwhile, at Tsuzuki's apartment, Tatsumi wakes up to notice Tsuzuki gone. After dressing and walking to the living room, Tatsumi sees Watari sitting on the couch. Sighing out loud, Tatsumi asks, "Where is Tsuzuki-san?"
As his golden eyes look over at Tatsumi with sadness, Watari answers, "I don't know. He said that he was sorry and then he disappeared before I could stop him." Of course, he might had a chance to stop Tsuzuki from leaving, but after hearing Tsuzuki state that he slept with Tatsumi, Watari couldn't find strength to do it. He always knew Tatsumi's heart belonged to Tsuzuki. The shadow master would never look his way, but Watari hoped in time Tatsumi would notice him more than a friend. When hears a soft cry coming from Tatsumi, Watari wraps his arms around Tatsumi. What would make Tatsumi like this?
As he sits down next to Watari, Tatsumi explains, "I couldn't help, Tsuzuki-san and keep him away from Muraki."
Tilting his head to the side, Watari asks, "What are you talking about? Muraki hasn't shown himself since Kyoto."
Shaking his head, Tatsumi tells Watari the truth, "When we were looking for Tsuzuki-san, he was with Muraki freely." As the tears roll down his face, Tatsumi thinks, "Are you with him now?" When his cell phone rings, Tatsumi answers, "Hello."
A soft voice replies, "I'm so sorry, Tatsumi."
Not caring about any of his own feelings, Tatsumi asks, "Are you all right, Tsuzuki-san? Are you with . . . "
Tsuzuki cuts him off quickly, "I'm fine except that I learned about my demon blood more. Yes, I'm with Muraki." Taking a deep breath, Tsuzuki mumbles, "I need to stay away for a while."
Tatsumi asks, "Why?"
Tsuzuki replies, "Because I'll kill you if I don't."
The phone goes dead and Tatsumi asks, "Would you care to see Muraki's friend and look up information on demons?"
Without thinking, Watari answers with a smile, "Lets go. I don't know what is going on, but for Tsuzuki's sake, I'll do anything." Before he walks out, Watari feels a hand grab his arm. Turning around to face the shadow master, Watari asks, "What's up?"
Unable to look Watari in his eyes, Tatsumi mumbles, "I'm sorry, Watari."
Not understanding what Tatsumi is talking about, Watari asks, "What do you mean? There is nothing you have to be sorry for."
Shaking his head, Tatsumi states, "I know about your feelings for me, Watari." When he sees wide golden eyes, Tatsumi speaks up, "I knew for a while now. I'm sorry that you found me with Tsuzuki-san." With sadness in his eyes, Tatsumi explains, "I wanted to protect Tsuzuki-san, but one thing lead to another. I'm . . . "
Watari cuts him off with a sad smile, "Don't be sorry." When Tatsumi looks up at him, Watari resorts, "Things happen. People feel. I know you love Tsuzuki. I learned that a long time ago." He walks out with sadness in his heart. It does hurt him to see Tsuzuki have Tatsumi's love, but Watari also thought it might be better that way.
After Watari did some research on demon behavior, Tatsumi stands in front of Muraki's friend. As they stare at each other, Tatsumi asks, "Do you know where Muraki is?" When Oriya shakes his head to answer, Tatsumi asks, "Can you get a hold of him?"
Rolling his eyes at the two guardians, Oriya replies, "No, I cannot get a hold of him. Even if I could, I wouldn't." As he sits down on a cold rock, Oriya thinks, "I'm buying as much time as I can for you, damn bastard."
Stepping in front of the shadow master, Watari speaks up, "We are worried about our friend. Alone Muraki could be in danger from Tsuzuki."
Chuckling at the blonde hair guardian, Oriya resorts, "Because he has demon blood. How do you think Muraki can summon beasts?" When Watari's eyes light up, Oriya explains, "Muraki knows what is going on with your friend better than you could because he has been through it before."
Tatsumi replies, "Tsuzuki-san told me that he would kill me if he comes near me. What did he mean?" All he can do is hope Oriya knows what that meant.
As he looks up at the dark sky, Oriya explains, "You fucked him and now his demon blood is boiling with revenge because you are not a demon. To be blurt, Muraki is the only one who can fuck your purple eyes to keep his demon in check." When it looks like Tatsumi is ready to attack him, Oriya sighs out, "Kyoto Hotel or least that is where Muraki told me he was taking your friend." After the two guardians leave, Oriya dials a number.
Within two rings, a silk voice responds, "Did they leave?"
Oriya answers, "Yes. I told them Kyoto Hotel. So, that will keep them busy for a while." The phone goes dead and Oriya looks at the bright stars in the sky. He should have told them that Tsuzuki could sleep with someone but only if he was on top. Shrugging his shoulders, Oriya mumbles to the darkness, "Not my business."
At a pent house across the city, Muraki walks over to his beloved. Sitting next to him, Muraki runs his pale fingers over the fever forehead. As he shakes his head, Muraki mumbles, "Now, look at you, Tsuzuki-san." All he can do is wait until the fever goes down and hope that Tsuzuki's friends do not find them. If Tatsumi comes before Tsuzuki's demon blood calms down, then Tatsumi will die. About to stand up, Muraki feels a hand grab his shirt. As he looks down to see purple eyes pleading with him, Muraki asks, "What do you wish for, Tsuzuki-san?" Oh, he so wants to hear Tsuzuki beg for release.
While staring at Muraki, Tsuzuki begs his enemy, "Please. Please take this pain away." When Muraki raises a silver eyebrow at him, Tsuzuki blurts out, "Fuck me, damn it."
With a smirk trancing his lips, Muraki resorts with a silky voice, "With pleasure." That is all he needed to hear from his beloved guardian. As he strips for Tsuzuki, Muraki watches Tsuzuki glace over his body. Oh, Muraki knows this man on his bed desires every inch of him. Now, it is time to make sure Tsuzuki remains with him and not figure out he can sleep with someone else. After his clothes are off, Muraki climbs on top of a naked Tsuzuki and thinks, "You are mine, Tsuzuki-san and always will be. I will make sure of it." When he feels Tsuzuki's hands run down his back, Muraki bites down on Tsuzuki's neck to draw blood from him. Never have sex soft and lover like. Always have it hard and rough. After all they are demons. They are the same.
Feeling pain course it's way through his body, Tsuzuki moans out, "Kazutaka." Why does he feel pleasure through pain? It is his demon nature that loves it this way. Crawling his nails over Muraki's back, Tsuzuki notices the red lines left by him. When he watches, with horror in his eyes, Muraki taking off his wrist watch, Tsuzuki moans out his words, "Please, don't." Too late, Muraki drops the watch onto the floor and sucks on the scars. This only makes Tsuzuki crave this pale man more. The only man who saw his scars and still desires to touch him drives Tsuzuki mad with lust.
Hearing the soft pants and moans, Muraki nips down Tsuzuki's body. As he stops near the navel, Muraki darts his tongue inside to send his lover mad. While looking down at Tsuzuki's glory, Muraki licks off the precum. This man below him is his and always will be. Muraki will show him now. Without preparing the guardian, Muraki wraps Tsuzuki's legs around his waist and thrusts into him hard.
Arching his back up, Tsuzuki screams out, "Kazutaka!" How can this much pain bring Tsuzuki so much pleasure? No one has ever hurt him like this. No one has ever given him so much pleasure at the same time.
While thrusting inside of Tsuzuki, Muraki pants out, "Pain brings pleasure, Asato. No one can show you this kind of pleasure." Feeling blood coat his cock, Muraki bites down on Tsuzuki's neck. As he feels, his end nearing, Muraki grabs Tsuzuki's cock. With a few stokes, Muraki feels the warm seed fly over their stomachs. After a few more thrusts, Muraki releases his seed inside of Tsuzuki claiming the man once again.
As he calms down, Tsuzuki speaks up with a hoarse voice, "You made me bleed."
While pulling Tsuzuki closer to his body, Muraki chuckles and resorts, "But you loved it. Do you love me, Tsuzuki-san?"
Frowning at that question, Tsuzuki answers truly, "No, I don't love you. I desire you. I want you. That's all this is."
After kissing Tsuzuki's sweaty forehead, Muraki resorts, "That is fine with me. There is no love between us, Tsuzuki-san. Demons do not love. They only lust after each other." That is right, there is no love for either of them.
Unknown to them, huge green eyes stare through a window. With tears in his eyes from seeing the man he loves with the man who killed him, Hisoka asks silently, "Why? Why did you go to him?" Before anyone notices him there, Hisoka heads back to Meifu. He doesn't understand. The emotions of lust, fullfillment, and calm all inside of Tsuzuki makes no sense to the teenager boy. How could Tsuzuki go the man who killed Hisoka?
