Chapter 8: Reinforcements of Time

(Inside of the redesigned Slifer Dorm; Sometime later)

We find ourselves back at the Slifer Red Dorm after our darkened heroes and Heroines managed to free Hotaru from the clutches of the vial Society of Light. Everyone was standing around Hotaru who was at that moment laying on the couch in the redesigned room that Chazz had done for Alexis before she was taken into the Society of Light.

“Do you think she’ll be alright?!” Keiko asked as she stared down at the young girl on the couch.

“Don’t worry Kei, once Yukina does her thing, Hotaru here will be just fine.” Yusuke said wrapping his arm around her shoulder and drawing her near.

“Yusuke’s right Keiko, everything’s going to be just fine.” Hikari said with a warm smile.

“Go ahead now Yukina and do your thing!” Kira stated waving her hand toward Hotaru.

“Right!” Yukina stated with a nod of her head before she turned her head and looked down at the ebony haired girl lying before her. She then stretched out her arms with her palms facing downward over Hotaru’s body and began to glow a soft ice blue color. Hotaru’s body then began to also glow the same ice blue color as the wounds and burns began to heal all over her body. After a few more minutes Yukina slumped back, tired from her ordeal while Hiei caught her from behind.

After a few moments a soft moan was heard from Hotaru as she slowly sat up on the couch. “Ow, my head feels like it’s been through a ringer!” Hotaru exclaimed as she held her head.

“How are you feeling Hotaru?!” Amy asked stepping forward.

“What’s the last thing you remember?!” Raye added.

“I’m fine Amy-chan, except for this splitting headache I got.” Hotaru began without looking up at anybody. “As for the last thing I remember, I was sitting in the park waiting for Serena-hime to come and meet me and this strange man showed up out of the blue and challenged me to a duel. I felt extreme evil rolling off him in waves and knew I’d have to stop him before Serena-hime showed up or he might have got his hands on her too.”

“I hate to tell you this little one, but you weren’t successful in beating that madman.” Darien said making his presence known.

“What are you talking about Darien?!” Hotaru asked perplexed as she looked up for the first time and noticed her friends new looks. “Um, why are you all wearing black?!”

“You should really take a look at yourself, firefly.” Raye said pointing down at Hotaru’s white uniform.

“What in the world am I doing in this white getup?!” Hotaru exclaimed in shock as she pulled at her white jacket.

“I believe this would be much more your style Hotaru.” Thalia said holding up a Obelisk Blue dorm girl uniform.

“Yes thank you, who ever you are.” Hotaru said standing up and taking the uniform out of the other girl’s hands.

“Don’t worry, everything shall be explained once you change.” Daniel said with a warm smile.

“Come on Hotaru, I’ll show you where you can change.” Amy said offering her a hand.

“Thanks Amy-chan.” Hotaru said with a smile as she took Amy‘s hand and together they walked off into another room so Hotaru could change and then get all the information on what‘s been happening since she‘s been out of it with the Society of Light.

(White Dorm; Later that night)

Later that night back at the ‘White Dorm’ we find all the ‘former’ loved ones and friends of our Darkened heroes and heroines sitting around the sitting room still licking their wounds from the tremendous beat down they got at the hands of their friends and loved ones earlier that day. The ‘White’ controlled scouts were still reeling from the loss of their youngest scout as well. However, Sakura’s ninja healing abilities are strong enough to help Amara, Michelle, and Serena heal quickly with their own Sailor Scout healing abilities.

“I still can’t believe that they forced Firefly into that kind of duel.” Michelle said holding her arm which was still sore from where she had landed.

“Believe it Michelle-chan.” Serena said looking up from where she was laying on the couch with Trista looking over her. “The way they are now with their dark powers, they’re capable of anything now.” Serena thinks in her mind, horrified, “I just can’t believe that Darien-chan would do that to poor Hotaru-chan!”

“Serenity-hime is correct.” Trista stated with a nod.

“I just couldn’t believe that Darien would do such a thing like that.” Mina said looking glum.

“Miss Aino, as your friends, Tsukino-san and Meiou-san has just said, with the Darkness of Destruction on their side, your friends and loved ones are more dangerous and capable of the most horrendous actions.” Sartorius informed Mina from his spot in a chair facing the others.

“What should we do now Sartorius sir?!” Alexis asked in perplexity.

“For now, we can do nothing.” Sartorius said leaning forward. He then turned his gaze towards the three oldest of the Sailor Scouts under his control. “Miss Meiou, Ten’ou, and Kaiou, I am sorry that Miss Tomoe was lost to us for the moment by your friends and loved ones who are among the nonbelievers, but fear not, we shall find a way to save her from the darkness and bring her back into the light.”

“Thank you sir!” The three women exclaimed with a soft bow.

“For now, I would suggest that we all go up to bed so that some of you have time to recuperate from the assault those of you who were there at the time Miss Tomoe lost her duel to Mister Shields suffered from.” Sartorius said suggested as he stood up from his chair.

“Yes sir!” The other members of the Society of Light exclaimed as they all went up the stairs and headed off to bed for the night. However, Amara and Michelle give each other cold serious glares as they nod their heads in some form of unsaid agreement.

Hilary and Kagome notice this and they think in their minds at the same time, “What are Amara-sensei and Michelle-sensei up to?”

(White Dorm; a few hours later)

Later that night after everyone in the White Dorm had gone to sleep, a few of the members were having a difficult time sleeping. One of the three members, Syrus Truesdale was at that moment in his bed tossing and turning from a very bad nightmare he was having this night.

Syrus’ nightmare begins

Syrus was walking along one of the many hallways in the main building of Duel Academy wearing his familiar Society of Light uniform looking for his friends.

“Hey guys where are you?!” Syrus called out.

“Syrus!” A strange yet familiar masculine voice rang through the halls.

“Whose there?!” Syrus asked looking around the hall. “Bastion is that you? Max, Ray, anybody?!”

“How could you do it Syrus?!” Another voice asked sounding annoyed.

“What are you talking about, who are you?!” Syrus asked suddenly going into a cold sweat.

“Come on Si, you should know who we are by now.” Jaden said as he walked out of the shadows followed by the other darkened heroes and heroines.

“JADEN!” Syrus shrieked as he jumped backwards away from the others.

“Boy Sarge, we should did scare the little pipsqueak, but good.” Tyranno glared down at the youngest of the Truesdale brothers.

“You’re right Tyranno. I wonder what Zane would thing about his younger brother turning traitor against his friends and the school like he did?” Jaden asked with a dark cold look in his eyes.

“Hey, I’m trying to save the world from falling into darkness!” Syrus exclaimed in anger.

“No what you are doing is trying to throw the whole balance of life off track!” Daniel hissed as he poked Syrus in the chest.

“Relax bro, the little pain in the ass is so blinded by the light that he can’t even think for himself to realize he’s tearing up the whole ecosystem.” Thalia said sarcastically.

“What should we do with him?!” Zephyr asked with a sinister grin as he stared down at Syrus.

“We could take him and throw him in the ocean.” Nathan suggested.

“Nah, the fish would just throw him back.” Knave joked.

TK says, with a dark sly smile, “Yeah. He is just so plain rotten that not even garbage man could handle his stink!”

Davis, Kari, and the other ‘darkened’ Digidestined giggle and Matt says, with a dark sly smile, “Nice one, TK!”

Davis says, with a dark sinister sly smile, “Yeah, I could barely contain myself!”

“How about we just beat the crap out of the little traitor?!” Yusuke asked popping his knuckles.

“Now I like that idea, bro.” Hikari smirked as she too cracked her own knuckles.

“Save some for me, privates!” Tyranno sneered as he took a step closer.

Jun says, with a dark sly smile and cracking her knuckles, “You, boys, don’t think you are getting all of the fun! This twerp betrayed one of my childhood friends and he is going to get what traitors deserve!”

Kari says, with a dark sly sneer, “I’m with you!”

Naruto says, with a dark sinister smile preparing his kunai, “Yeah! Kakashi-sensei taught us that those that follow the rules of the ninja are trash, but those that betray their friends and comrades are less than trash!”

Sasuke says, with a dark serious tone while preparing his Sharingan, “And those that are traitors shall get what they deserve!” Soon enough, our darkened heroes and heroines advanced sinisterly in a dark and deadly fashion towards Syrus, who shuffles back in fear.

“No, stay back!” Syrus exclaimed as he took a step back and put his hands out in front of him.

“You brought this all on by yourself Si. You should never have joined that freak for power and false promises.” Jaden said taking a step forward.

“What are you taking about Jay, I didn’t join the Society of Light for power or false promises.” Syrus tried to rebut.

“Didn’t you kid?!” Daniel asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Daniel’s right!” Darien stated with a nod of his head. “You allowed Sartorius to blind you to the truth of what was really going on. There’s no way he can turn your brother from the path he is walking right now. Your brother is the only one who can decide to stop dueling the way he’s been dueling.”

“Hm, at least your brother still has emotions and can think for himself unlike you.” Keiko added.

“Now what in the world are you talking about?!” Syrus asked puzzled by their words.

“We mean Syrus, that when you are inducted into that vial cult, your emotions are frozen and any thinking about right or wrong are twisted around.” Kira informed him.

“No, that’s not true!” Syrus cried out in anguish.

“Believe what you what Syrus, but it’s true, all of it.” Davis said folding his arms in front of his chest.

“You’re all lying!” Syrus exclaimed in anger and tears.

“Hm, let’s leave the baby to himself and cry all he wants, but it won’t change what’s true or not.” T.K. said staring at Syrus darkly and coldly.

“My bro is right let’s get out of here.” Matt said waving the others off as he and T.K. walked off.

“Yea, we’re so out of here.” Jaden and the others walked off as well.

“No Jaden, guys don’t…” Syrus cried reaching out for his friends only to have the dream end.

Syrus’ nightmare ends

“….leave me!” Syrus cried out as he suddenly sat up in bed with his hands stretched out in from of him with a cold sweaty sheen over his body.

“Man what a dream…” Syrus began as he wiped his hand over his face to wipe away the sweat there. “…more like nightmare.”

He then thinks to himself, ‘I really need to go off by myself and think this over. If I can’t get my thoughts in order, then I really don’t belong here in the Society of Light.’

Syrus then climbed out of bed, threw on some clothes and snuck out of his room quietly as he could and shortly there after left the ’White Dorm’ to go off and went off to a quiet place to think even in the dark.

Elsewhere in the ‘White Dorm’, Amara Ten’ou and Michelle Kaiou were also sneaking out of the ‘White Dorm’ in order to head over to the Slifer Red Dorm in order to get retribution for the beat down they got at the hands of the Darkened Heroes and Heroines earlier that day as well as for the loose of Hotaru against Darien.

“Are you really sure we should be going against Serena like this as well as Sartorius-sama?!” Michelle asked quietly as they tiptoed along one of the hallways.

“Michelle, I think Kitten was just reeling from watching Darien totally demolish Hotaru the way that he did, not to mention the way the nonbelievers totally handed our asses back to us. I think that maybe Sartorius-sama won’t mind as long as we bring one or more of those bastards into the light.” Amara answered with a cold hard look on her face.

“Well if you say so ‘Mara.” Michelle said with a shrug of her shoulders.

“Yea, I say so ‘Chelle. Now come on, let’s go make them pay!” Amara stated waving them forward.

“Right!” Michelle stated with a nod of her head as she and Amara left the ‘White Dorm’ on their mission.

(Back at the Slifer Dorm)

“I still can’t believe that I did those horrible things to you guys” said Hotaru sobbing into her hands.

“Don’t worry,” said Amy sadly, “I know how you feel.”

“C’mon girls,” said Daniel, “Stop feeling sorry for yourselves.”

Kari says, with a kind smile, “They can’t help themselves. I know how they feel.”

TK tells Kari, with a kind smile, “Don’t worry, Kari. With me and Davis here, they won’t get to you again.”

Davis tells Kari, with a loving and reassuring tone, “Yeah! I would rather die than allow them to do to you what they did ever again. I promise.”

Kari tells Davis, lovingly, “I know that you will, Daisuke.” Kari then kisses Davis on the lips and when they release from the kiss, Davis turns to Daniel.

“Just asking Daniel,” said Davis, “What did you do with that fan to Amara?”

“Yea!” said Naruto, “And what was that jutsu.”

“And Chiron what did you mean by he’s just like Zeus?” asked Darien.

“Okay,” said Daniel, “One thing at the time. First of all I should explain the levels of magic first. Eriol you should know this. There are four levels. The first, and weakest are the eight elements. You know water, fire, earth, air, that sort of stuff, musical magic, things like that. Then there comes the higher powers. Chaos, astral, twilight, and life are in this category. After that are the five creation powers. They are the Higher Light, the Higher Darkness, Higher Twilight, Rainbow, and Crystal. Finally there are Angelic, Devil, Devastation, you know sorrow and sadness and stuff like that, Language which is communication and how to bind everything together, and finally Stardust magic. The last five are known as the Original Powers, the first magic in all of the dimensions.”

“And why do we need to know this?” asked Hiei impatiently.

“Well what I did on Amara was just some basic magic,” said Daniel, “I just channeled some magic from the fan out. It’ll be a long time before I can use Angelic magic.”

“And what does that evil creep use?” asked Raye, “Regular light or higher light?”

“That’s the good news,” said Daniel, “He uses regular light.”

Thalia says, with a serious tone, “However, even through it is regular light, it uses negative energy and emotions for its power. Plus, it is somewhat stronger than usual regular light, but it is far weaker than Higher light.”

Nico says, with a serious tone, “That’s why the Silver Crystal is useless against the Light of Ruin since it may be one of the most powerful forces in the universe, it only uses regular light. Since it has a purifying nature, it is stronger than usual regular light, but not as powerful as the Light of Destruction . . . well for the moment.”

Amy asks, curiously, “What do you mean ‘for the moment’?”

Daniel says, with a serious tone, “Well, there is a way for the Silver Crystal to beat the Light of Destruction. You see, it was created to be the one of the most powerful channels of energy in the universe. It can harness all types of energy from the weakest elements to the creation powers.”

Darien asks, curiously, “Wait! You mean that the Silver Crystal can use Higher Light and if it has that kind of power, it can counter the evil powers of the Light of Destruction?”

Thalia says, with a sly smile, “Right, but you need a Lunarian royal family member to use the Silver Crystal since it is genetically linked to their bloodline and theirs alone. Plus, the risks remain the same. But in order for the Silver Crystal to gain Higher Light or the other creation powers, you need a Lunarian family member with that energy to infuse within the Silver Crystal.”
Tyranno says, with a sigh, “Well, there goes that tactic for an easy victory.”

Tea says, with a serious tone, “I doubt it would have been that easy anyway.”

Tristan says, drolly, “When are they that easy?”

Naruto asks Thalia and Daniel, “Okay, what about that jutsu you just used?”

“Now,” said Thalia, “The jutsu was our bloodline. The Rose clan uses a Kekkai Genkai, called 1000 Rose Petals. It allows our body to turn itself into rose petals, or to create rose petals that we can control. Daniel changed his whole body into rose petals and then passed them through Michelle.”

“You see,” said Daniel, “The petals are under my control. I still have a conscience. I controlled the petals. Oh and the next time you try to make us mad. Just remember that.”

“We will,” said Naruto nervously.

Kakashi whispers to Naruto, “Naruto, Lady Hokage and I should discuss something with you about your family later.” Just then they hear footsteps coming towards them and when they turn to look our heroes and heroines suddenly see Amara and Michelle.

“So that’s what you did to us!” said Michelle with a cold angered tone.

“And now you’ll pay!” said Amara with a cold serious tone. Then Amara and Michelle take out their henshin wands and prepared to transform.

Yusuke says, powering his body with his spirit energy and with a dark serious tone, “Oh, great! Get ready to rumble!”

“I don’t think so,” said Daniel pulling out a charm, “Thalia, Paralysis Petals! Let’s see what this charm is all about.”

Then Thalia’s hands then emitted yellow rose petals that covered Amara and Michelle making them unable to move and unable to call upon their sailor powers.

“Why can’t we move?!” said Michelle.

“Kurama,” said Thalia, “can answer that.”

“Paralysis Petals,” said Kurama, “The dust that they emit can paralyze you. You won’t be able to move until cure is given. But the petals are rare.”

Hikari asks, curiously, “How do you know Kurama?”

Hiei says, plainly, “Remember, Kurama is an expert on all types of plants from human to demonic and beyond.”

TK says, amazed, “Wow! My mom would like to meet you since she wants a little help on her garden.”

“Yea, Kurama is right,” said Daniel, “It’s not that hard. The petals are rose petals. And we can create rose petals. So let’s see if this is really a good charm.”

Then the charm in Daniel’s hand grew until it became a chain with a lightning bolt on the end. Then Daniel swung the chain above him head and then it wrapped around Amara and Michelle giving off a blue electric shock knocking them unconscious. Then the rose petals surrounding Amara and Michelle then disappeared and the two SOL controlled Sailor Scouts drop to the ground.

“Well,” said Daniel, “I can get used to this.”

Then Daniel pointed to one of the Hunters.

“Phoebe,” said Daniel slyly, “Can you get the cameras inside? It’s time for a little show.”

Phoebe says, with a nod, “Right!”

Raye asks, curiously, “What are you planning to do?”

Thalia says, with a dark sly smile, “Give those dweebs a show that they will never forget.”

Nico asks, curiously, “Want to help out?”

Naruto says, with a dark smile, “Sure! What do we do?”

Chiron says, with a plain tone, “Just follow us and we’ll show you.” As our heroes and heroines prepare to head inside and get to work, Hotaru gives a worried look wondering about what her ‘darkened’ comrades are going to do to her adopted family.

(At the White Dorm; Sometime later that evening)

We see our brainwashed heroes, namely Serena, sleeping peacefully in her room, for the moment. Then the TV screen flashed on and we see our heroes and heroines on the screen by the coast.

“Wake up dorks!” shouted our heroes.

“What?!” said Serena as she wakes up with a start. When she looks around, she finds our heroes and heroines on her television screen.

“Welcome dorks to our new show: Dueling with the Freaks!” said Davis with a dark sly smile.

“And let’s welcome today’s duelists or pathetic dorks as we call them!” said Darien with a dark nasty tone. Then the picture on the television screen zoom in on the ocean, and we see an ice field with Daniel, Thalia, Amara and Michele on it, with Amara and Michelle still unconscious.

“We’ll introduce our duelists after our break to let all of you dorks regroup,” said Amy with a dark smile. Then the TV screen goes black. Then Lita rushed through Serena’s door.

“Did you see that or was that just a dream?” asked Lita with a cold curious tone.

“It wasn’t you,” said Serena with a cold serious tone, “Gather the rest of the Society members into the hall immediately and inform Alexis-chan and Sartorius-sama.”

“Right!” Lita says, with a cold serious as she rushes out and closing the door behind her. Serena gets out of her bed and prepares to put on her female SOL uniform.

Serena thinks in her mind, perplexed, “What are Amara and Michelle doing there? How did those nonbelievers get them? I hope that we aren’t too late!”

(Back to our heroes, sometime later)

“Do you think they’re ready?” asked Davis with a dark impatient tone.

TK says, with a dark sly smile, “Easy, Davis. Personally, I would like to know if those dweebs are running with white tails between their legs.” Davis and the others giggle with dark sly tones.

Jun says, with a dark sly smile, “Nice one.”

“I’m sure,” said Amy with a dark plain tone, “Sara just came back from scouting, and she saw all of them in the hall.”

“Okay let’s get this party started,” said Bianca with a dark sly tone. Soon after, our heroes and heroines immediately restart the cameras which are focused on them.

“Hello dorks!” said Nico, “Welcome to this duel between our heroes The Rose Twins, Daniel and Thalia against your White Geeks: Amara and Michelle!”

“Now time to wake them up!” said Percy, and then he sent a wave of cold water over Amara and Michelle waking them up with a major start.

Amara yells out, stunned, “Hey!”

“What happened?!” said Michelle with a stunned tone.

Yusuke yells out, with a dark nasty tone, “What do you think wenches?” Amara and Michelle look to see our ‘darkened’ heroes and heroines surrounding them with Keiko in Yusuke’s arms and Kari in Davis’ arms.

Kira says, with a dark sly smile, “You had the nerve to barge into our dorms!”

Kai says, with a dark serious tone, “And now, it is time that you learned the consequences.” Soon enough, Amara’s and Michelle’s eyes move on Hotaru and they gasp to see her new look.

Hotaru’s dark violet hair has become pitch black with dark violet highlights, she has black gemstones in the form of the symbol of Saturn, dark violet colored lips, black choker around her neck, her female Obelisk Blue uniform is a black and blue mixture exactly like the other ‘darkened’ heroines, her fingernails are dark violet with black symbols of Saturn on each fingernails, she has pitch black silk stockings covering all of her legs, and her high-heeled boots are black as well.

Michelle yells out, stunned, “Firefly?!”

Amara calls out, with a cold angered tone, “What have you done to her?!”

Hotaru says, with a dark nasty tone in her voice, “My friends haven’t done anything to me, witch! That rotten jerk that you called a ‘Master’ used me like a puppet like Mistress Nine and the Heart Snatchers did! He is going to pay for using me like his personal toy!”

Michelle and Amara gasp in shock and Michelle thinks in her mind, horrified, “We’re too late! They already poisoned Firefly’s mind with darkness like Mistress Nine poisoned her before!”

Amara yells out, with a cold angered tone, “You are going to pay for this!”

Daniel throws two duel disks to them and he says, with a dark sneer, “Bah! Bah! If I had a yen for every time that I heard that in life ranging from Raikage to being a Senshi, Thalia and I would be far richer than even than Bill Gates!”

Michelle and Amara take the duel disks, attached them to their left wrists, and Michelle says, as she and Amara put their dueling decks in their duel disks and with a cold serious tone, “We’ll see about that! Talk is cheap!”

Thalia says, with a dark nasty tone, “Kind of like you!” Daniel and Thalia attached duel disks to their left wrists, put dueling deck inside, and prepare to start their duel.

“Game On!” said Daniel, Thalia, Michelle, and Amara in unison as their duel begins

“What happened to ladies first?” asked Michelle with a cold plain tone.

“I don’t see any ladies here,” said Thalia with a dark nasty tone, “Except for myself of course.”

“Now I’ll go first!” said Daniel summoning the Millennium Ring, “And I think we’ll turn this into a Shadow Game.”

Then the ice beneath our two heroes and the brainwashed bimbos, as some of our ‘darkened’ heroes and heroines called Amara and Michelle, broke, and then refroze leaving them trapped with their feet under the ice and in the water.

“Let me explain this,” said Daniel with a dark sly smile, “This ice field is enchanted. Every time we lose life points, the ice itself shall send an electric shock to your legs. Oh and there’s an ice barrier in between us, so then other team won’t get shocked. And I assume you know that water conducts electricity.”

“Don’t I know that lesson,” said Percy silently to Annabeth.

Then Amara and Michelle gulp and Amara thinks in her mind, “Oh, great.”

“Now I’ll go,” said Daniel, “And I play Staircase of the Angels! As you know, this allows me to special summon any ‘Angel’ card as long as I discard the number of sacrifices needed from my hand, or top of my deck. And I discard none, and special summon from my deck Angel of Shame-Sariel (1000/500)!”

“What can that puny thing do?” said Amara laughing coldly.

“I’ll tell you,” said Daniel, “Every single end phase, you lose 500 life point for every ‘Angel’ on the field! And then I activate Angel’s Health! As long as this card is on the field, any damage with an ‘Angel’ card turns to 0.”

“No!” said Michelle with a shocked tone.

“Now I play two cards facedown and end my turn,” said Daniel, “Oh and now you lose 500 life points.”

Then we see a red-haired angel with a ruby staff. Then the staff glowed a sliver light, and a ray of light struck Amara and Michelle.

“AHHHH!!!!!” said Amara and Michelle as the ice shocked them.

“My turn,” said Michelle weakly, “And I summon my Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness in attack mode!” Just then Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness (1800/1500) appears in front of Michelle in attack mode.

“I activate my Angel’s Revenge trap card!” said Daniel pushing two buttons on his duel disk, “Whenever an ‘Angel’ card is revived from the graveyard, it gains 500 attack points. And then I activate my Angel’s Spirit trap card! Now any ‘Angel’ card destroyed, I get to summon it at the next end phase!”

“No!” said Michelle with another stunned tone.

Amara yells out, shocked, “You have got to be kidding me.”

Thalia says, with a dark sly smile, “Does it look like we’re kidding dork?”

“I play one card face-down, and then end my turn,” said Michelle with a cold annoyed tone.

“Now I activate Card Destruction!” said Thalia, “Now all of us have to discard our hands and draw a new one! Then I activate my spell card, Call of the Winds. This allows me to special summon a ‘Wind’ card. And I pick Zephyrus-The East Wind (4000/4000)! And when he is summoned, I can summon a Wind type monster, and I chose Notus-The South Wind! And when he is summoned, all of your monster cards get destroyed!”

“No!” said Michelle as her Warrior gets destroyed.

“And now I end my turn,” said Thalia with a dark plain tone.

“My turn,” said Amara, “I set one monster, and play one card facedown. Then I activate Card of Sanctity, so all of us draw until we have six cards.” Soon after, all four duelists draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Amara says, with a cold plain tone, “And now, I end my turn.”

“I activate my Card Destruction!” said Daniel darkly, “Now, all of us have to discarded our entire hands to the graveyard!” Daniel then says, discarding one card from his hand, “And then I discard one of my cards to summon my Angel of Destruction-Azelel (2500/2000)! And when it’s summoned, I can destroy one spell/trap card! And I pick your facedown!”

“No!” said Amara as her facedown was destroyed as the hologram shatters apart.

Then Angel of Destruction-Azelel appeared in a flash of light.

“All of the cards,” Daniel murmured.

“What cards?!” said Amara.

“You’re kidding,” said Thalia.

“I’m not,” said Daniel, “This duel could end now, but the shock…”

“They’re Sailor Senshi for Zeus’s sake!” said Thalia impatiently, “They’ll live!”

On the sidelines, Davis asks, perplexed, “What are they talking about?”

Kari says, shaking her head, “I don’t know, Dai-kun.”

TK says, seriously, “Something tells me that we are going to find out.”

Chazz says, with a dark plain tone, “And it won’t be good for those white dorks.”

“Fine!” said Daniel, “I destroy my Staircase of the Angels, and discard Light of the Angels field spells to the graveyard! And now arise! Kingdom of the Angels!”

Then a bright, silver light appeared behind Daniel, and then a grand silver castle appeared behind Daniel.

“Ah!” said Amara and Michelle blinded by the radiance.

“How does it feel to be in the presence of a pure light?!” said Daniel, “And now through all the discarding, I have 8 ‘Angels’ in the graveyard and 2 on the field. So now through the effect of my Field spell, which may I mention also lets me special summon one ‘Angel’ card per turn without discarding, and boosts all ‘Angels’ attack by 1000, I summon King of Angels-Landon (10,000/10,000)!”

Then a black haired man, with white robes, with a silver crown adorned with diamonds, with a sword sheathed at the side. The aura that it is producing can be felt from all that were in the area.

“Such power!” said Amara with a shocked tone.

Raye yells out, amazed, “Whoa! I can feel its incredible power! I never sensed such strength from the card!”

Izzy asks, curiously, “Where did he get it from?”

Jaden says, with an amazed tone, “I’m wondering when I can get one.”

Yusuke says, with a smile, “Same old Jay.”

Keiko says, with a giggle, “Yep!”

“Yes, and did I mention that by sacrificing an Angel card, spells and traps don’t affect him?” asked Daniel, “I didn’t, how stupid of me. Now I sacrifice Azelel, and my field kicks in!”

Then Landon’s attack becomes 11,000, and Sariel’s becomes 1100.

“Now attack!” said Daniel. Immediately, the two great ‘Angel’ monsters launch their holy energy attacks right at the two SOL controlled Sailor Scouts.

“No!!!!!!” scream Amara and Michelle as they got shocked with thousands upon thousands of volts of electricity.

Then the ice field disappeared, and Daniel and Thalia jumped back on land and rejoined with our heroes and heroines while Michelle and Amara, their bodies badly burned, and they collapse onto the field on their backs and into unconsciousness.

“This is a taste of our powers,” said Daniel, “So let this be a warning.” Soon after, the cameras cut out as our ‘darkened’ heroes’ and heroines’ transmission to the ‘White Dorm’ is stopped.

Hotaru runs over to the fallen forms of Amara and Michelle and she says, solemnly with tears in her eyes, “Amara-papa . . . Michelle-mama . . . I’m so sorry . . . I’m so sorry . . .”

Amy goes over to Hotaru, gently hugs her, and she tells her, with a weak warm smile, “Don’t worry, Hotaru-chan, they will be all right. Once you heal them, they will be back to normal.” Hotaru wipes her tears and gently nods her head.

Tyson says, with a dark serious tone, “This madness has got to stop!”

Kai says, with a dark plain tone, “It will, Tyson. We have two more friends back on our side.”

Hikari says, with a dark serious tone, “With us in control of the school and our strength growing, we will win this war soon enough.”

Kira says, slamming her fists together, “Yeah! They will pay!”

Renamon tells Jun, with a serious tone, “However, with every victory, we should be wary of any desperate actions that the Society of Light will take to stop us.”

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “Renamon has a good point. Plus, we haven’t fully stopped their invasion of the Digital World.”

Gatomon says, with a sneer, “Yeah. We might have given those jerks a bloody nose, but we are far from saving the Digital World.”

Gaomon says, with a nod, “Indeed, Master Yusuke. We driven them from one area, but the Digital World is vast and they might find other areas to attack.”

TK says, with a dark serious tone, “Good point. I’ve told you all that I can about them and their plans, but right now, they still have a good foothold in the Digital World.”

Atem says, with a serious tone, “From what you have told us, if the balance of this ‘Digital World’ is loss, then our world, the Human or ‘Real’ World, is lost as well and both worlds are destroyed.”

Izzy says, with a serious tone, “That’s right, Atem. The Digital World is a physical representation of the data passing all over the world wide web and things in the Digital World are based on data of the Real World with difference made because of the data. Even through these two worlds are separate, they need each other and if one is lost, the other is well.”

Tristan says, with a serious tone, “Man! It looks like a war on multiple fronts here!”

Chiron says, with a serious tone, “That’s a good way to put it, Tristan Taylor.” Just then Daniel, Thalia, and the Elemental Senshi look towards the harbor area.

Kira asks, curiously, “What’s up?”

Nico says, plainly, “It looks like one of the Society Dorks is heading to the harbor, but . . .”

Tyson asks, with a dark serious tone, “But what?”

Annabeth says, with a serious tone, “The negative aura of the Light of Destruction is weakening around him.”

Eve says, with a nod, “Annabeth is right. The aura around this Society member is weakening.”

Kurama says, seriously, “It must mean that this person is fighting Sartorius’ control.”

Hikari asks, curiously, “Who is this person?!”

Chiron closes his eyes, a mental image of Syrus Truesdale flows into his mind, and he says, when he opens his eyes, “It is Syrus Truesdale.”

Jaden and Tyranno yell out in unison, “Syi?!” Immediately, Jaden and Tyranno run off with Guilmon hot on their heels.

Darien says, seriously, “Hold up! Even through the aura is weaker; it doesn’t mean that the real Syrus Truesdale is coming back!”

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “Well, I’ll take that chance!”

Tyranno says, with a dark serious tone, “That’s right! No one in our platoon gets left behind this time! We’re not losing Private Truesdale to those dweebs again! Let’s go, Sarge!” Immediately, Jaden, Guilmon, and Tyranno head off.

Atem tells Davis, Jun, Yusuke, Hikari, Keiko, Kira, Kuwabara, and all of their friends from their adventures as Digidestined or Spirit Detective, “All of you go with them. Davis, Jun, Yusuke, his sister, Keiko, and Kuwabara are childhood friends of Jaden and the rest of you are their friends. The bonds of friendship, respect, or both will give him the strength to rip Syrus Truesdale from the control of Sartorius.”

Yugi says, with a nod, “I don’t mean to bring up bad memories, but Joey was under the control of Marik, but the Pharaoh and I used our friendship to help him.”

Atem says, with a nod and a smile, “And that bond will help you now.”

Daniel says, with a smile, “Atem-sama is right. We will handle things here.”

Jun says, with a smile, “Thank you.”

Davis says, with a sly grin, “Yeah, thanks.”

Keiko says, with a smile, “Let’s go!”

Kuwabara yells out, excitedly, “Yeah!” Soon after, the Digidestined and former Spirit Detective team along with the Odaiba Digidestined’s and Jun’s, Yusuke’s, Hikari’s, Keiko’s, and Kira’s Digimon partners race off to catch up with Jaden, Guilmon, and Tyranno.

Amy asks, curiously, “Do you think that they will be okay?”

Joey says, with a sly smile, “They’ll be just fine.”

Atem tells Yugi, with a wide smile, “You choose well for your successor, Yugi.”

Yugi says, with a sly smile, “Yes. I felt something special about Jaden.”

Jasmine asks, perplexed, “Wait! Are you saying that you made Jaden your successor as the King of Games, Yugi-sempai?”

Yugi says, with a smile, “Well, you can say that.”

Chazz yells out, stunned, “No way! What does that slacker have that I don’t?”

Raye states, with a sly smile, “Well, he is unyielding, honorable, kind, caring, always helps and never leaves behind anyone that he cares about, goes out of his way to defend others . . . Need I go on?” Chazz slumps his head down and gives a growl of annoyance.

Kai says, with a plain tone, “Anyway, we should get Amara-sensei and Michelle-sensei inside to get them healed.”

Tyson says, with a nod, “Good point, Kai. Let’s do it!” The rest of our heroes and heroines on the scene prepare to take the unconscious Amara and Michelle into the Slifer Red dorm to get them healed.

Naruto thinks in his mind, seriously, “Be careful out there guys.”

(Back at the ‘White Dorm’; On the meanwhile)

Within the ‘White Dorm’, the rest of our heroes’ and heroines’ ‘former’ friends, allies, and/or loved ones are assembled in the main foyer of the ‘White Dorm’ with Sartorius as they are discussing the aftermath of the duel between Amara and Michelle against the Rose twins.

Hinata says, stunned, “That duel . . . it was horrible.”

Sakura 2 says, horrified, “Those two nonbelievers torn Amara-sensei and Michelle-sensei apart!”

Serena says, with a cold snarl, “Ooh, they have got to be the ringleaders of what’s happening to Darien-chan and the others!”

Bastion says, with a cold logical tone, “Even if that’s true, right now, there is nothing that we can do.”

Sartorius says, with a cold plain tone, “Mister Misawa is right. If we charge in there now, the nonbelievers will be on guard and they will not hesitate to use violence against us. With their minds poisoned by the Darkness of Destruction’s power. We will need to work carefully if we are to use the Light of Truth to defeat them.”

Alexis asks, curiously, “What should we do Master Sartorius?”

Sartorius tells the SOL members, “We can’t do anything for now. We will need to regroup and rest for now. We shall work out a plan tomorrow.”

Kagome asks, curiously, “Hey, by the way, isn’t there supposed to one more of us?”

Yolei says, with a curious tone, “Yeah. He is a short guy with glasses and light ice-blue hair.”

Bastion yells out, stunned, “Oh no! That’s Syrus!”

Tai asks, with cold plain tone, “Isn’t he Zane Truesdale’s younger brother?”

Sartorius says, with a nod, “Indeed, Mister Kamiya. He joined us in order to save his brother from the darkness that now controls him turning him into the ruthless duelist known as the ‘Hell Kaiser’.”

Ken asks, perplexed, “Where is he?”

Bastion says, with a cold plain tone, “He knows that he shouldn’t be outside.”

Atticus says, with a cold plain tone, “Yeah, dude. With what’s happening with the nonbelievers right now.”

Serena says, with a cold serious tone, “Sir, let me try to find him before it is too late. Since I can fly, I’ll be able to stay out of their sights.”

Trista says, with a cold plain tone, “Not exactly, my princess. Remember, Raye and Keiko are both Eternal level with the ability to fly, but since Raye is the more experience scout, she is the greater danger.”

Serena says, with a cold plain tone, “Don’t worry, I’ll stay away from the nonbelievers and make sure to stay out of sight.”

Sartorius says, with a nod, “I shall grant you your request, my dear. Try to find Mister Truesdale and bring him back immediately.”

Serena bows and she replies, with a cold serious tone, “Yes, Sartorius-sama!” Immediately, Serena races off towards the front door and prepares her transformation brooch to find Syrus.

Mina says, lowly, “Be careful.”

Sartorius thinks in his mind, curiously, “Maybe going after all of the nonbelievers at once is too ambitions. I think that I should concentrate on certain ones like Thalia and Daniel Rose for one. Since they are the source of the dark powers that the nonbelievers weld now, they might be the key to defeating them.”

(Within Academy’s harbor; Sometime later)

With evening star filled skies of Academy harbor, we find Syrus Truesdale, in his male SOL uniform, looking out into the sea with a solemn look on his expression.

Syrus thinks in his mind, with a cold determined tone, “I know why I joined the Society! I joined to save my brother and the world from darkness . . .” However, doubt comes into his mind and he thinks, doubtful, “ . . . Didn’t I? Did I join of my own free will?” Soon after, Syrus takes out his deck and shuffles through his cards. Just then he stops at his Power Bond card that Zane gave him and he remembers his duel with Missy about how he gave Power Bond to Jaden to start learning to grow stronger on his own. Syrus thinks in his mind, remember, “Power Bond. I gave this card to Jay in order to learn how to become more powerful on my own before I could use it. Wait! Become more powerful on my own? Do I . . . Do I really need the Society of Light to gain the power to defeat Zane? Can I do it on my own?” Soon after, Syrus then takes a look at the next card in his deck and he finds that it is the White Veil equip spell card that he got for his loyalty to the Society of Light. Just then the memories of his ‘induction’ into the Society of Light and what he has been doing since then come into his mind as well as seeing Jaden’s fallen face when Jaden saw Syrus leave for the SOL. Just then tears come to Syrus’ eyes and he thinks in his mind, solemnly, “Oh, Kami . . . what . . . what have I done? I abandoned my best friend for power! I let Sartorius play his head games like he did with Bastion and the others! I hurt my best friend so much and for what! This!” Syrus then takes the White Veil equip spell card out of his deck and prepares to throw it away, but a sickly white aura comes from the card and surround his body.

Just then an image of Sartorius appears from the sickly white aura and he says, with an evil sly smile, “Syrus . . . don’t you want your brother back? Don’t you want him to return to before?”

Syrus says, weakly, “Yes . . . I do . . . but I won’t abandon my best friend for power . . .”

The image of Sartorius says, with an evil sly tone, “I can’t let you go, Syrus. You are too important for my Society. You are one of the keys to bringing Jaden Yuki to me and you will help me.”

Syrus says, weakly, “No . . . Never . . . I won’t let you to do Jay . . . what you did to me . . .”

The image of Sartorius says, with an evil sly smile, “Who said that you have a choice? This is the will of Destiny and it will not denied!” Just then Syrus cries out in pain as more sickly white energy pours out of the card and into Syrus’ body.

Just then familiar male voice yells out, with a dark strong tone, “Let him go, Sartorius!” Just then Syrus and the image of Sartorius look to see Jaden, Tyranno, the Digidestined, and the Spirit Detective with the Digimon partner of the Odaiba Digidestined along with Jun’s, Jaden’s, Yusuke’s, Hikari’s, Kira’s, and Keiko’s assembled.

Syrus says, weakly, “Jay, you came . . .”

Tyranno says, with a dark serious tone, “Hold on, Private! We won’t let him take you again!”

The image of Sartorius laughs evilly and yells out, with an evil sly smile, “Don’t bother! He belongs to the Light now!”

Jaden then says, with a dark serious tone, “I don’t think so!” Immediately, Jaden charges forward and goes over to Syrus.

Matt yells out, stunned, “Jaden, wait!”

Sora says, worriedly, “It’s too dangerous!” However, Jaden doesn’t listen as he grabs the White Veil equip spell card and he yelps out in pain as the negative aura burns his flesh.

Yusuke yells out, stunned, “Jaden!”

The image of Sartorius says, with an evil sly smile, “Foolish Jaden Yuki! And now, you shall be mine!”

Just then the Millennium Puzzle appears around Jaden’s neck and he yelps out, “I don’t think so!” The Millennium Puzzle gives a golden glow and the sickly white aura starts to weaken.

The image of Sartorius yells out, with an evil sly smile, “Wrong, Jaden! There is no stopping the Light!” Just then the sickly white aura gains strength and Jaden yells out in pain as it burns him as well as start to ‘infect’ his body.

TK calls out, stunned, “Jaden, let go!”

Kari yells out, horrified, “Hurry, Jaden!”

Davis says, worriedly, “Get out of there bud!”

Jaden says, with a strong determined tone, “No way! I’m not going to give in or surrender to this freak! He has hurt all of my friends and used them in his sick plans for far too long! As long as I breath, I won’t let him take my friends, again! Do you hear me Sartorius! Like a duel, this is far from over! This has only begun!” Just then a silver aura comes from Jaden’s body and the sickly white aura starts to react and weaken from the silver aura from Jaden.

The image of Sartorius yells out, stunned, “What?! What is this?! What is this power?!”

Hikari asks, perplexed, “What is that?”

Kurama says, with a serious tone, “I don’t know how, but that’s pure Light energy! However, it is too different from the evil Light of Destruction. This Light is filled with positive energy while Sartorius’ ‘Light’ is filled with negative energy and Jaden’s ‘Light’ is overpowering the energy of the Light of Ruin!”

Kuwabara asks, perplexed, “When did Jaden get special powers all of a sudden?”

Yusuke says, with a curious tone, “Got me. It was first Davis with spiritual energy and next, Keiko with Sailor Scout powers.” As the sickly white aura retreats into the White Veil equip spell card, the image of Sartorius gives a shocked look.

The image of Sartorius yells out, stunned, “How can this be?! What are you?! What is this power?!” However, the image of Sartorius cries out as he vanishes into the card and Jaden, with a loud cry, rips the card in half sending sickly white energy away causing the sickly white aura around Syrus to vanish. Soon after, Jaden, looking totally exhausted, collapses to his knees as the two halves of the White Veil equip spell card fall to the ground while the silver aura vanishes as quickly as it came.

Our heroes and heroines run over to Jaden and Jun asks, stunned, “Jay! Are you okay?”

Jaden says, weakly, “Yeah, never better . . .” However, he is about to fall, but Tyranno manages to keep him from falling.

Tyranno says, with a serious tone, “Easy, Sarge. You did enough today.” Soon after, Tyranno helps Jaden back to his feet and they look at Syrus who has a solemn look on his face.

Jaden asks Syrus, with a weak smile, “Are you okay, Syi?”

Syrus tells Jaden, with a solemn tone, “How can you forgive me so easily, Jay? I betray you . . . all of you for power!”

Tyranno tells Syrus, with a sly grin, “Hey! Don’t worry, Private! It isn’t your fault! Sartorius used what happened with your bro to mess with your head!”

Jaden tells Syrus, with a warm smile, “Yeah, Syi. Don’t beat yourself up. I know that you would never give in willingly. That jerk messed with your head and we’re just glad that you are safe.”

Tears start to fall from Syi’s eyes and he says, weakly, “Oh, Jay . . .” Soon after, he buries himself on Jaden’s chest and starts to cry his eyes out.

Tyranno says, with a sly smile, “Some things never change. Welcome back, Private.” Just then Davis’ new spiritual senses pick up a familiar aura and he gets a serious face.

Kari and TK are quick to notice and Kari asks Davis, “ What’s wrong, Dai-kun?”

TK asks, seriously, “Is it trouble?”

Davis says, with a dark serious tone, “Yeah. Trouble with a capital ‘T’.” Davis immediately turns towards the sky and to his right and when everyone looks over there, including Syrus, they find Eternal Sailor Moon floating in the sky above them with a cold cross look on her face.

Hikari yells out, with a dark annoyed tone, “Just what we didn’t need!”

Kira yells out, with a dark serious tone, “What do you want dork?!”

Gabumon says, seriously, “Get ready everyone!” Immediately, the Digimon prepare for battle.

TK yells out, with a dark annoyed tone, “Oh, put a cork in it, wench! We are sick and tried of your mouth!”

Mimi states, with a dark annoyed expression, “No joke! Don’t you have anyone else to bug you white fashion reject?!”

Sailor Moon says, with a cold annoyed tone, “You are really starting to piss me off!”

Just then a male voice shouts out, with a dark serious tone, “Well, how does this catch you?!” Just then Eternal Sailor Moon flies upward to avoid dozen of kunai knives and shuriken with one managing to graze her cheek giving her a nasty cut.

Everyone looks to the source to see Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Tenten, Neji, and Lee assembled together and Naruto says, with a dark sly smile, “Ha! Gotcha!”

Neji says, with a dark serious tone, “Don’t get too excited, Naruto.”

Sasuke says, with a dark plain tone, “That’s right, idiot. You only grazed her.”

Naruto yells out, with a dark annoyed tone, “At least, I hit her!”

Tenten tells Naruto, while taking out her large scroll, “Sasuke is right, Naruto. One little cut isn’t going to stop her of all people. In fact, it might make her mad.”

Sailor Moon says, with a cold serious tone, “Got that right! I’ll be back!” Just then Sailor Moon gives off a sickly white glow and she teleports away.

Lee says, with a dark plain tone, “Coward. She runs away when the going gets tough.”

Ino says, with a dark serious tone, “She’ll be back, Lee. Count on it.”

Sasuke says, with a dark serious tone, “And next time, it won’t be so easy to get rid of her!”

Neji says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

Yusuke asks, curiously, “What are you doing here?”

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “We knew that you could handle yourselves, but Naruto couldn’t help looking back towards and worry about you.”

Naruto says, with an annoyed tone, “Well, forgive me for wanting to worry about our friends!”

Ino tells Naruto, with a smile, “Easy, Naruto! We don’t blame you for worrying, but you have to admit that Sasuke has a point.”

Neji says, with a nod, “Yes, they are quite powerful and can handle anything from the Society of Light at this time. However, it isn’t a flaw to worry about your allies and teammates.”

Lee says, with a nod, “Indeed. Like Kakashi-sensei said: ‘Those who break the rules of the ninja are scum, but those that abandoned their friends are less than scum.’ They are very wise words and a trait that’s most honorable.”

TK says, with a smile, “Thanks, everyone.”

Keiko says, with a nod, “For being there for all of us.”

Tenten says, with a smile, “No problem, Keiko.”

Neji asks, with a serious eye on Syrus, “What about him?”

Tyranno says, with a serious tone, “No worry, soldier. He broke free from that rat’s control by himself.”

The ninja give a gasp of amazement and Ino asks, stunned, “He did?”

Davis says, with a sly smile, “He had a bit of help from Jay, but the little guy really proved he has a big heart.”

Syrus says, nervously, “Thanks . . . I think.”

Hikari says, with a smile, “Well, let’s get back to the Slifer Red dorm. You would want to get rid of that hideous getup.”

Syrus says, with a nod and a look of disgust, “No joke!” Soon after, our heroes and heroines assembled in the harbor head back to the Slifer Red dorm with the recently freed Syrus in tow. However, Kurama and Hiei are giving Jaden a critical eye.

Kurama thinks in his mind, with a curious tone, “That light that Jaden produced was strong enough to negate the aura of the negative energy from the evil impure light of Sartorius and the Light of Ruin. Could it have been that ‘Higher Light’ that Thalia and Daniel mentioned earlier? And if so, how did Jaden get it? Could he be from the Silver Millennium too?” On the meanwhile, at the Cliffside overlooking the harbor, we find Daniel, Thalia, the Elemental Senshi, and their allies/friends looking down at our heroes and heroines as they leave to return to the Slifer Red dorm.

“This is going to get messy,” said Daniel to Bianca.

“Well it can’t get messy enough to bring in the Chronos Numbers is it?” asked Luke.

“Oh yes it will,” said Daniel pulling out a cell phone.

“Daniel…” said Bianca warningly.

“Hello Sephiria?” said Daniel over the phone.

“Too late” said Bianca.

“Can you arrive here tomorrow?” asked Daniel, “Great. We’ll expect you.”

“Daniel,” said Thalia, “You know training will demolish them.”

“Which is why we’re rewarding them with a bit of magic,” said Daniel, “After all they need new cards.”

“Even cards can’t cushion the pain that they’ll feel,” said Nico.

“They’ll thank us one day,” said Daniel, “Or we’ll be despised forever.”

“And that’s what I’m worried about,” said Percy.

“That’s what we’re all worried about Seaweed Brain,” said Annabeth bonking Percy on the head.

“Stop fighting you two!” said Ciera, “And you guys are boyfriend and girlfriend. How I wonder how your children will be.”

“Let’s go,” said Daniel, “We have a lot to prepare for.”

(A short time later; Back within the Slifer Red dorm)

Inside of the Slifer Red dorm, we find ourselves within the redesigned dorm room that Chazz made with Hotaru healing up Michelle after she healed Amara while Raye, Darien, Amy, Zephyr, Nathan, Knave, Chazz, Mindy, Jasmine, Tyson, Kai, Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Tenten, Lee, Neji, Shikamaru, Tsunade, Kakashi, Hiashi, Syaoran, Eriol, and Coronamon watch.

When she is done, Tsunade tells Hotaru, with a kind smile, “You are very talented, Hotaru. If you were born or reborn in our lands, you would have made an excellent medical ninja.”

Hotaru tells Tsunade, with a major blush on her cheeks, “Thank you.”

Kakashi asks Tsunade, “Lady Hokage, are you thinking of taking on another apprentice?”

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “Well, I think that she has awesome talent!”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “I think that you are right, Naruto.”

Sasuke says, with a sly smirk, “Well, miracles can happen.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Watch it, Sasuke!”

Tenten says, seriously, “Come on, you, two, this is no time for fighting.”

Tsunade asks Hotaru, “So, what do you say Hotaru? I can train you personally and you won’t have to rely on your mystical healing powers to heal someone all the time. Plus, you will be able to defend yourself better. How would you like to become my apprentice?”

Hotaru says, with a nod, “I would be honored Lady Tsunade.”

Just then a door opens and a male voice calls out, “It looks like something exciting is happening here!” Everyone then looks to see our heroes and heroines that entered the harbor, human and Digimon, come into the room. However, the ninja of the group go into defense mode when they see Syrus in his male SOL uniform.

Ino yells out, darkly while taking out some kunai, “Hey! What’s that white twerp doing here?!”

Syrus yelps out in fear and Tyranno says, with a dark plain tone, “Easy, soldier! Stand down! He isn’t one of those dweebs anyone! We managed to help him break free of that jerk’s mind-control, but he did it on his own.”

Darien asks, a bit surprised, “He broke free of Sartorius’ mind-control on his own?”

Syrus says, weakly, “I had a little help.”

Jaden tells Syrus, with a sly smile, “Don’t worry about it, Syi! You did it mainly on your own! I took care of that creep when he tried to regain control over you!”

Matt says, with a dark serious tone, “Bad news is that white fake of Sailor Moon saw what happened!”

Chazz says, with his usual snobbish tone, “Well, that means that he is a marked man.”

Syrus yelps out, stunned, “Marked?”

Chazz says, with a dark serious tone, “Do you really think that those dorks will forgive this ‘betrayal’ so easily? They are going to for revenge and that white Meatball Head has got the bull eyes on your head!”

Syrus yelps out in fear and Raye yells out, angrily, “Cut it out, Princeton!” Raye then hammer blows him on his forehead and she calls out, annoyed, “Don’t you have better things to do that annoy or scare people?!”

Chazz yells out, with a serious tone, “You want to make something of it?!” The two of them stare off against each other when TK gets in-between them.

TK says, seriously, “Okay, you, two, that’s enough!”

Joe comes in and he says, with a dark serious tone, “That’s right! Save for the white dorks, not each other!” Chazz storms off while Raye snarls at him angrily.

Kari says, with a sigh, “Something tells me that they are going to be a problem.”

Hikari says, with a sigh, “I hear you girlfriend.”

Davis tells TK and Joe, “Nice work, you, two.”

TK says, with a sly smile, “Hey, that’s why we’re here, Davis.”

Kurama goes over to Luna and Artemis 2, who are observing from nearby, and he asks them, in a whisper, “May I talk to you, two, in private?”

Artemis 2 asks, curiously and lowly, “Why, Kurama?”

Kurama motions towards Jaden and he says, plainly and lowly, “It is about, Jaden.”

Luna and Artemis 2 nod their heads and Luna says, lowly, “It is best that we talk tomorrow morning.”

Kurama says, with a nod, “Agreed.” Just then a couple of moans is heard and everyone looks to see Amara and Michelle go into a sitting position with their eyes still closed.

Amara asks, holding her head, “What in the heck hit me?”

Just then Hotaru cries out, excitedly, “Amara-papa!” The next thing that Amara and Michelle see when they open their eyes is Hotaru hugging them.

Michelle yells out, stunned, “Firefly?”

As tears flow down her eyes, Hotaru says, happily, “I’m so happy that you are okay.”

Amara asks, perplexed, “What happened to you, Firefly? Why are you in black?”

Darien says, with a kind tone, “It is a long story, Amara.” Just then Amara and Michelle look at our heroes and heroines to see them clad mainly in black.

Michelle asks, perplexed, “Huh? Why are most of you covered in black?”

Amara says, looking at Syrus, “And why is this little guy in white?”

Amy points to their clothes and she says, weakly, “Before you talk about our clothes, I think that you should take a look at yourselves.” When Amara and Michelle do so, they yelp out in shock as they find themselves in their female SOL uniforms.

Amara yells out, stunned, “What the heck?! What in the world am I doing in this weirdo white uniform?”

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “That’s a long story.” Everyone then looks to see Daniel and Thalia Rose, the Elemental Senshi, and their allies/friends walk into the room.

Michelle asks, curiously, “Who are they?”

Thalia says, with a kind smile, “The name is Thalia Rose.”
Daniel says, with a sly smile, “And I’m her brother, Daniel Rose. We are heirs to Rose Enterprises and the current Raikages of the Village Hidden in the Clouds.”

Thalia says, with a sly grin, “Not to mention the long lost prince and princess of Earth: Prince Lyserg and Princess Jeannie, brother and sister to Prince Endymon.” Amara and Michelle gasp in shock and Thalia says, with a sly smile, “Don’t worry, we will explain everything in a moment.”

Chiron says, with a kind smile, “Since I sense no negative aura from him, I see that Syrus Truesdale broke free from the control of the Society of Light.”

Tyranno says, with a sly smile, “Yep! Our little private did it all on his own with a little help from us!”

Nico says, with a nod, “Good. It means we are one step closer to defeating our foes.”

Raye asks, with a serious tone, “By the way, where were all of you? You just stepped out for a while after they left for the harbor. What’s up?”

Thalia says, with a plain tone, “We were calling for reinforcements.”

TK asks, curiously, “Reinforcements?”

Daniel says, with a nod, “With these latest defeats, those Society Dorks will get more desperate to defeat us. We are going to need to become stronger to defend ourselves and the innocent students.”

Davis says, his blue aura glowing, “Come on! We’ve become much stronger since this started! I’ve really advanced on my spirit energy training and TK, Kari, and the other Digidestined with Raye and Darien have advanced on their ninja training.”

Thalia says, with a nod, “True. You are stronger and more skilled than ever, but Davis, in terms of power, your spiritual energy only rivals Sailor Moon in strength.”

Davis yells out, stunned, “What?! All that hard work and I’m only good as her!” Davis rubs his body and bottom and he says, annoyed, “Did you know what I had to go through? It still stings and even my black and blue have black and blues.”

TK says, with a nod, “No joke, Davis! Ouch!”

Kari kisses Davis on the cheek and she says, lovingly, “Well, maybe I can kiss them and make it better.” Davis gives a mad blush on his cheeks and the other Digidestined couldn’t help to giggle at this.

Yusuke says, with a sly grin, “The mighty Davis with a blush.”

Kira says, with a sly smile, “Yeah! Wish I could have brought my camera!”

Davis says, with a sly smile, “Oh, yeah, Yusuke! When is the wedding between you and Keiko? You said that you would marry her so many times that I lost count.”

Yusuke gives an embarrassed blush and yells out, annoyed, “Hey! Cut that out!”

Darien tells Daniel and Thalia, “Lady Tsunade wishes to take Hotaru as her apprentice.”

Thalia says, with a nod, “Perfect.”

Amara and Michelle say in unison, perplexed, “Apprentice?”

Daniel says, with a nod, “With Lady Tsunade’s medical ninja training, Hotaru’s healing abilities will become much stronger and her combat abilities will improve.”

Chiron says, with a serious tone, “However, all of you, even Yusuke and his sisters, will need to improve and Keiko will be joining the training since she is the newest of the Sailor Scouts from the Silver Millennium.”

Michelle asks, stunned, “Say what?”

Hotaru says, wiping her eyes, “Long story, Michelle-mama.”

Bianca says, with plain tone, “I think that we should explain everything to them before we go to bed.”

Kai says, with a nod, “Good idea.” Soon after, all of our heroes and heroines start to explain to Amara and Michelle about what’s going on and the information that they need to know ever since they have been brainwashed.

(The Next Day, by the Harbor)

The following day, we find our heroes and heroines are assembled in the harbor of Academy Island with Michelle and Amara sporting new ‘dark looks’.

Amara’s hairstyle remains the same, but her hair is black with dark violet highlights, she has black and orange star earrings on her ears, her lips are pitch black in color, she has a black spiked leather choker around her neck, her female adult Obelisk Blue has become a black and blue mixture like the other female ‘dark’ heroes, she has black fingerless gloves similar to Alexis Rhodes and modified for her size on her hands, she has black colored fingernails with orange symbols of Uranus on each fingernail, she has pitch black silk stockings covering all of her legs, and her high-heeled boots are pitch black.

Michelle’s hairstyle also remains the same, but her hair is black with dark violet highlights, she has aqua-blue and black star earrings on her ears, her lips are dark violet in color, she has black leather choker around her neck, her female adult Obelisk Blue uniform is a similar black and blue version as Amara’s new ‘dark’ Obelisk Blue uniform, her fingernails are dark violet with aqua-marine blue symbols of Neptune on each fingernail, she has partial see-through black silk stockings covering all of her legs, and her high-heeled boots are pitch black.

“What the hell are we waiting for?” asked Chazz in his usual snobbish tone.

“Not what,” said Daniel, “Who. And you’ll see.”

Suddenly a black plane, a black version of US military V-22 Osprey, appeared at the distance, and landed on the helicopter landing station near the harbor.

Kenny yells out, stunned, “That looks like a United States military aircraft!”

Kai says, with a plain tone, “It is. That’s a US V-22 Osprey. It is special airplane that has the ability of vertical take-off like a helicopter.”

Izzy asks, perplexed, “How did you get an aircraft like that?”

Thalia says, with a sly smile, “We have our ‘connections’. You don’t our jobs with some ‘perks’.” Then out came thirteen figures with one of them a female with blond hair in a purple dress, splitting at her waist, but not enough to show her legs. She also is wearing a white tie and a magenta shirt.

“Everyone I would like you to meet my former masters,” said Daniel, “The Chrono Numbers.”

“Former masters,” said a bald, tan, man, with a goatee, in a black suit, with a purple collared, shirt on, “Isn’t that doing too far.”

“Well Nizer,” said Daniel drawing his sword, “Wanna challenge me on that?”

“No…” said Nizer.

“I thought so,” said Daniel sheathing his sword.

“Why did you bring them here?” asked Darien.

“First of all to help with your training,” said Daniel, “Next they’re weapon specialists, and can create perfect orihalcon weapon that suit you, and lastly they’re here because they trained me, and you’re going to need what they teach you.”

“Yea,” said Thalia, “If you survive.”

“Survive?” said Davis nervously.

“Yea,” said the lady, “Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Sephiria.”

“Also known as my Sword Master from the deepest reaches of Hell,” said Daniel, “But she’s a good person.”

“Not very comforting,” said Yusuke.

“Oh who cares,” said Thalia.

“We do,” said Darien.

“And to make up for this surprise,” said Daniel pulling out the scroll, “We’re giving you new cards. Well, to the Bladebreakers and Digidestined at least.”

“What about the rest of us!?” said Yusuke with a slight annoyed tone.

“Well the freed Sailor Senshi already got cards from us,” said Daniel, “And you guys. Well you guys don’t have anything to base them on.”

“What do you mean?” asked Hikari.

“You’ll see,” said Daniel fiddling with the scroll, “If I can find the right mixture. Aha found it!”

Then Daniel muttered some weird language, and the scroll glowed a silver light, and then shot out to the Bladebreakers’ beyblades, and the Digidestined’s’ Digimon, which then covered them, and then came together in a single point, above the Digimon, and the beyblades, turning into cards, which then shot to the respective owners’ hands.

“Cool,” said Davis, “Veemon cards. This is great!”

TK says, displaying Duel Monsters cards with Patamon, his Champion form of Angemon, and ultimate form of MagnaAngemon, “Yeah! I’ve got Patamon and his Digivolution forms.”

When Patamon sees the cards, he says, with a smile, “Wow. I look so cool.”

Veemon says, with a sly grin, “Yeah, Patamon. We all look cool.” Patamon nods his head in agreement with Veemon.

Mimi says, displaying a Lillymon Duel Monster, “Lillymon!”

Palmon says, amazed, “Wow.”

Izzy states, displaying a Tentomon card, “This is amazing. How did you do this?”

“Angelic magic goes a long way,” said Daniel, “It’s just an ancient spell that uses something’s aura and turns it into something else. Piece of angel cake.”

“Don’t ask,” said Thalia.

“Let’s go,” said Daniel, “Your training is just beginning.” And with that note our heroes and heroines left to the forest.

(In the middle of the forest, sometime later)

Somewhere deep within a forest on Duel Academy, we find our heroes and heroines assembled together while Syrus displays a brand new ‘dark look’.

Syrus’ hair has become black with dark red highlights while his hairstyle remains the same, his male Ra Yellow blazer has become pitch black, he has a dark blue shirt on him, dark blue jeans for his size, and black sneakers.

“Okay,” said Daniel, “Your training from before was easy. Before was just training for the sake of training. Now it’s training to master. Each of us, as in the Elemental Senshi will choose one apprentice to train hands on to master one of the eight elements.”

“Or in Daniel’s case,” said Thalia, “Two.”

“Two?” asked Davis.

“One to teach lightning,” said Daniel, “And one special one to teach every single element.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” said Yusuke stunned.

“Nope,” said Daniel shooting eight beams, one of each element around him, leaving a mark, “One of you will be able to do this. So let’s start with water.”

“Water,” said Percy, “Unpredictable, emotionless, and one who goes with the flow. I choose Yusuke.”

“Alright,” said Yusuke.

“Okay,” said Daniel, “Fire’s next.”

“Fire,” said Annabeth, “Powerful, it can give or take life. Raye, I choose you.”

“Why not?” said Raye.

“Earth is next,” said Daniel.

“Earth,” said Nico, “Strong, steady, headstrong, and in control. Darien, you’ll be my apprentice.”

“Lectured by a little kid,” said Darien, “This will be new.”

“Wind is up” said Daniel.

“To be free, and strong,” said Thalia, “I choose Kira.”

“More power to kick those stupid freaks’ butts,” said Kira.

“Light,” said Daniel.

“To purify,” said Ciera, “To learn to give life and magic. Kari, want to be my apprentice?”

“Sure,” said Kari.

Sora tells Kari, with a kind smile, “It fits you well, Kari. You are the Child of Light after all.”

Kari says, with a smile, “Thanks, Sora.”

Davis says, with a loving smile, “And an angel.”

Kari tells Davis, with a blush, “Dai-kun, stop!”

Matt states, with a sly grin, “Always the charmer, eh, Davis?”

“Darkness,” said Daniel.

“The cruel power,” said Bianca, “The power of death and destruction, but also the power of sealing. Hotaru, how about you?”

“Me?” said Hotaru.

“Yes,” said Bianca.

“Okay,” said Hotaru.

“Ice is up,” said Daniel.

“Ice,” said Luke, “Harsh, unforgiving and eternal. I choose Jun.”

“Okay,” said Jun.

“Fits her personality like a dime,” Davis whispered to TK and the other Digidestined.

“What did you say?!” said Jun angrily with uncharacteristic deadly glare that make many in the group of heroes and heroines winch.

“Nothing,” said Davis frightened.

TK whispers to Davis, with a sly smile, “You had better watch with Jun, Davis. Or she might give you a new meaning to the term ‘cold shoulder’.”

Davis tells TK, with a nod, “Tell me about it.”

Mimi says, a bit fearful, “I’ve never seen that look on Jun before.”

Sora says, with a nod with a winch, “Yeah, something tells me that we had better not make her mad from now on.”

“Lightning,” said Daniel, “The cold fire, the element that can be directed, but not completely controlled. Sasuke, I pick you.”

“Hmph,” said Sasuke.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” said Daniel, “Now the special one.”

Then he pulled out a charm.

“I call upon the power of the eight elements!” said Daniel as a seal with an eight point crystal with angel wings in the center of the crystal, “Release your power, release the magic, I summon the staff, as your master I call upon thee. Staff of the Elements!”

Then the charm became a red staff, with a rainbow, eight point crystal surrounded in a diamond crystal which at each point had a red, white, azure, and green diamond shaped crystals at each point of the diamond.

“Well if it isn’t the Staff of Elements,” said Artemis, “I haven’t seen that for a long time.”

“Well it’s needed,” said Daniel, “I call upon your magic! Tell me who will learn all!”

Then the staff shown a rainbow light, and it became a beam and it pointed to Davis.

“Well Davis,” said Daniel, “Looks like you’re my apprentice.”

“Cool,” said Davis.

“It can’t be,” said Daniel.

“What?” asked Thalia.

“The Element Crystal is glowing. Every single point,” said Daniel.

“No way,” said Thalia.

“What does that mean?” asked Davis.

“That means that your aura,” said Daniel, “is perfectly able to master every element. It hasn’t glowed like that since it chose, well me!”

“Wow,” said Davis.

TK says, with a sly grin, “Well, I don’t think that you would be the Digidestined of Miracles just for a title Davis.”

Matt says, with a nod, “That’s a good point, bro.”

TK asks, curiously, “But I have a few questions: What about the rest of us? And what about what happened with Jaden with Syrus?”

Chiron says, plainly, “Well, as you can imagine, those that we picked fit the elements that we chose for them. With Raye, she is the Sailor Senshi of Fire. Darien, the Prince of Earth. Hotaru, the Sailor Senshi of Darkness, Death, Destruction, and Rebirth. Kari, the Child of Light. Sasuke, the user of the Lightning chakra based attacks including Chordi. Through it is more about personality than the elements fitted with them. Each one that we picked has the aura and personality to match the element.”

TK says, with a serious tone, “And in Davis’ case, his aura can handle every element and despite what you see, he has a bit of every personality type to match as well.”

Thalia says, with a nod, “Right, TK! You are quite quick on the uptake.”

Cody says, with a smile, “Well, TK is quite good in understanding what people are implying.”

Nico says, with a kind tone, “However, even through we have chosen them for our special training doesn’t mean that you don’t have special powers of your own. Actually, all of you have your own unique and powerful abilities.”

Hikari asks, perplexed, “We do?”

Annabeth says, with a nod, “We sensed in all of you. With Jaden, it is a good example. We are not completely sure of how he got Higher Light, but we might believe that he has a connection to the Silver Millennium. However, it will take some time to find out.”

Percy says, with a kind tone, “By the point is that all you must wait for the right time for your unique powers to come out.”

Meiling asks, curiously, “And when will that be?”

Daniel says, with a plain tone, “All in due time, Meiling.”

Kira says, drolly, “That sounds cryptic.”

TK tells Kira, kindly, “We’re kind of use it for awhile from Gennai.”

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke, TK.”

Thalia says, with a very serious tone, “However, when those powers are revealed, you are going to need to make some very important choices. And your choices, not just the ‘Chosen Duelists’, could affect the fate of the universe at any time.”

Sora says, nervously, “No pressure.”

Nathan says, with a droll tone, “Took the words right out of my mouth, Sora.”

“Let’s go,” said Daniel, “You guys have fun. It might be the last fun you have in a long time.” Everyone then gulped nervously.

Yusuke says, drolly, “Great.”

Zephyr says, with a nervous tone, “Something tells me that this training will really be a hoot.”

Kira says, nervously, “You hit the nail right on the head, pal.”

“Anything you say,” said Darien nervously.

Gatomon thinks in her mind, worriedly, “What do Kari and the others have to face this time?”

And our heroes and heroines, minus the Chrono Numbers, visitors from Hell, Hunters, and Elemental Senshi headed to the beach, for the last bit of fun for a very long time.

(At night, in the forest)

Everyone was back from a day at the beach, and everyone was in their dorm asleep, except for a certain Hunter.

“I gotta snap out of this,” said Sara walking out of her tent and into the deep forest.

“Sara?” said Bianca sleepily.

Bianca then followed Sara into the forest.

“Why am I thinking about boys like this,” said Sara hitting a tree, “I’m supposed to be a Hunter of Artemis. I swore off boys forever!”

“Well that doesn’t mean that you can’t quit,” said a mysterious voice.

“Who’s there!?” asked Sara.

“Me,” said Bianca revealing herself.

“Lieutenant Bianca,” said Sara, “I didn’t see you.”

“I heard what you said,” said Bianca, “You know even though I love Daniel, and Daniel loves me, and Thalia loves Nico, we’re still Hunters.”

“But how come Lady Artemis let you?” asked Sara.

“Because even though we love each other,” said Bianca, “we’re still loyal to Artemis, so stop worrying about you and TK already! Now let me show you something.”

Then Bianca strung her bow.

“Dark Arrows!”

Then she let an arrow fly, and it got covered in a dark energy, and multiplied and chopped down every tree in its path.

“Wow,” said Sara, “I would like to do that one day.”

“Maybe you will,” said Bianca.

“But what makes you think that I like TK?” asked Sara.

“Oh I know these things,” said Bianca, “Including the way you blushed at his sight yesterday.”

Then Sara blushed again and she says, with a blush on her cheeks, “Well, I can’t help it. His smile, his kind gentle nature . . .” Sara shakes her head and she says, with a sigh, “Oh, man. Having feelings for an Earthling is tough.”

Bianca says, with a serious tone, “Well, you can’t be sure that TK is an Earthling since he is friends with Davis.”

Sara asks, curiously, “Do you think?”

Bianca says, with a nod, “Those closest to Prince Deimos were very powerful. He has a strong team of warriors on his side even those that weren’t his guardians.”

Sara asks, with a curious tone, “Do you think that those three will make the choice? If they do so, their lives will never be the same.”

Bianca says, with a nod, “It is indeed their choice, Sara. However, if they don’t make the choice, the ‘Council of Four’ will be no more. However, we can’t pressure or force them into their duty. But I’m confident they will make the right choice.”

Sara says, with a sigh, “Even if TK is . . . you know . . . it doesn’t make this easier . . .”

“Now get some rest,” said Bianca, “I have a feeling you’ll need it.”

Then they both went back to their tents.

(The Next Day, In the Red Dorm)

“Wake up!” said Daniel.

“One more minute,” said Davis moaning.

“Do it or I’ll dump ice water on you,” said Daniel.

“You wouldn’t,” said Davis bolting up.

“He would,” said Tyson showing up all wet.

Then Davis woke up completely.

“I’ll expect you outside,” said Daniel.

(Sometime Later)

Just outside of the Slifer Red dorm, we find all of our heroes and heroines preparing for their next day of training, battling, and adventure.

Kai asks Tyson, curiously, “What happened to you, Tyson?”

Tyson replies, plainly, “Daniel took the gag of dumping water on you to a new level.”

TK says, nervously, “Yipe.”

Joe says, with a nod, “Yeah, maybe that’s why you don’t mess with people that can use many forms of magic.”

Hikari says, with a nod, “No joke! Next time, you might get a lightning bolt down your butt!”

Yusuke yells out, nervously, “Don’t give them any ideas sis!”

“Good morning everyone,” said Thalia with a smile.

“Yea,” said Tyson ringing out his hair, “Good morning.”

“Sorry about that,” said Daniel, “But you should have woke up.”

“Here’s a sorry,” said Thalia blowing a gentle gust of wind to dry him off.

When Tyson’s hair and the rest of him were dry, he says, with a smile, “Thanks.”

“Same old twins,” said a mysterious voice.

Then we see a middle-aged guy in a postal carrier outfit leaning against a tree. He was slim with black curly hair.

“Lord Hermes?” asked Daniel and Thalia.

“Father?” asked Luke.

“Father!” said the rest of our heroes.

“Everyone,” said Daniel, “I would like you to meet Luke’s dad, Hermes, Messenger of the Gods.”

“Hello everyone,” said Hermes.

“Lord Hermes,” said Thalia, “Not to be rude but, what the hell are you doing here?”

“Well,” said Hermes, “I’ve come here to bring you a letter, from your father.”

“Really,” said Daniel, “Well where do I sign?”

“Straight to the point as always,” said Hermes holding out a clipboard, “Right here please.”

Then Daniel signed.

“Here you go,” said Hermes giving a sky-blue envelope to Daniel, “Well I must be going.”

“Close your eyes!” said Daniel.

Then there was a bright light and Hermes was gone.

TK yells out, stunned, “Whoa! He’s gone!”

Kurama says, with an amazed tone, “A form of very advanced teleportation powers.”

Hiei says, with a plain tone, “With a power like that, you could be half-way across the galaxy in mere moments.”

Veemon says, amazed, “Wow!”

Gatomon says, stunned, “I’ll say Veemon.”

Matt says, with a nod, “Now, that’s what I call fast service and the only way to travel.”

Amy says, stunned, “I don’t think our Sailor Teleport can match.”

“Well let’s see what this letter is about,” said Daniel.

Then Daniel opened the letter, and his face turned into worry.

“Uh oh,” said Daniel.

“Uh oh?” asked Darien.

“Artemis,” said Daniel in a worried tone, “Where exactly was the monster the last time you saw it?”

“California,” said Artemis, “Why?”

“Well it’s not there any more,” said Daniel, “How would you guys like to take a trip?”

“A trip?” asked Davis.

“Yea,” said Daniel, “A trip to New York, to stop one of the Light of Destruction’s monsters?”

“What!” said Jun.

“I’ll explain on the way,” said Daniel holding out his hand, “Andarta! Empire State Building, Ground Floor!”

Then there was a flash of light and when the light faded away, our heroes and heroines have disappeared.

(Ground Floor of the Empire State Building, New York)

We see the ground floor of the Empire State Building, and suddenly a bright light flashed, and we see our heroes. Then we see a desk clerk in front of them.

Izzy says, amazed, “Prodigious! We’re inside of the Empire State Building in New York City of the United States!”

Kenny says, with a nod, “I know, Izzy! This is incredible!”

“Oh hello Lady Artemis and friends,” said the clerk.

“What did he call us?” said Jun angrily.

Davis tells Jun, with a smile, “Come on, Jun. He doesn’t know us.”

“Later Steve,” said Daniel, “C’mon guys, if I’m right then our monster is right outside.”

“What’s this monster doing anyway?” asked Darien.

“Legend has it that this monster was sent by the Light of Destruction to steal magical items for it to absorb,” said Daniel.

“Absorb?” asked Davis.

“To suck the magic and use for itself,” said Daniel.

“But what would it want here?” asked Jun.

“We’re in the Empire State Building,” said Daniel, “And the Greek Gods are right above us, and today is Winter Solstice, when all the gods come together for a meeting, and they hold many lost magical objects, oh how I wonder.”

“Okay that answers our question,” said Raye.

“Let’s go,” said Artemis, “We need to stop this thing ASAP.”

TK says, nervously, “Did you think it was weird for all of us just to appear in this room? I mean, I don’t think many people are used to magic.”

Thalia says, with a sly smile, “Don’t worry, all non-mystical beings thought we just walked from another area of the building. Our spell made sure that our teleportation couldn’t be seen by non-magical eyes. And if you need to know, the desk clerk is obviously magical, but he works for us so he won’t be surprised.”

Hikari says, with a smile, “I think that’s pretty obvious, Thalia.”

Yusuke asks, perplexed, “Not many of us speak English or the New York version of English, you know? How can people understand us?”

Nico says, with a smile, “Don’t worry, we added translation spell the instant that we got here. Now, you and everyone that doesn’t know English can automatically translate and speak it as well as read it.”

Tyson says, amazed, “Cool.”

Artemis says, with a serious tone, “Okay, let’s go!” After nodding their heads in unison, our heroes and heroines went outside of the lobby.

(Outside of the Empire State Building)

We see our heroes and heroines outside in front of the Empire State Building, near a great sickly white horned demon.

“You sure that is a monster?” asked Jun, “Because that thing could pass off as that evil light.”

“Oh I’m sure,” said Daniel bringing out the Staff of Elements.

Nathan says, stunned, “Whoa! Hold on! You can’t use magic here!”

Molly says, with a nod, “We are in a big city! Don’t you think that a few people would notice?”

Chiron says, with a plain tone and smile, “We already have this covered.”

“The Mist will shield us,” said Thalia.

“There’s no mist here,” said Darien.

“Magic Mist,” said Bianca, “It obscures mortals sight, and changes what they see shielding monsters and us. They’re just seeing what they can process, well usually. We’re bending it so that it’s like we’re not here. We’ll fix everything later.”

“I’ll take that staff!” said the monster.

“It can talk!” said Davis flabbergasted.

Matt says, stunned, “You aren’t the only one shocked, Davis!”

TK says, with a nod, “Got that right, bro!”

Gatomon says, seriously, “Get ready everyone!” The Digimon prepared for battle as they get into defensive positions, but Daniel had other plans.

“You aren’t taking this,” said Daniel.

“Dark Apocalypse!”

Then the Staff of Elements glowed a violet light, and Daniel hit it to the ground sending a wave of darkness at the monster, leaving a trench in its path.

“Ah!” screamed the monster as it gets knocked back.

“Damn it!” said Thalia sending wind currents at the monster, “Die already!”

“It’s looking bad,” said Luke as he sends an icicle at the demon for it to be smashed in a million shards.

“This will end!” said the demon sending a white beam at Jaden.

“No Jaden!” said Davis.

“I don’t think so,” said Daniel holding out the Staff.

“Reverse Reflection!”

Then the Staff of Elements absorbed the beam of light and sent out a violet beam at the demon.

“Ah!” said the demon getting sent into a crater.

“You sure no one will see that hole?” asked Davis.

Tyson says, with a nervous tone, “Because it is kind of big.”

Yusuke says, with a nod, “No joke!”

“We’ll fill it in later!” said Nico.

“Okay this ends now,” said Artemis.

Then Artemis summoned her silver bow and arrows. She then fired 5 at a time into the crater, and when shot each of them gained a violet light, and exploded when on target.

“Wow,” said Jun.

Then Nico send layers of earth to fill in all the damage.

“Nothing can escape Lady Artemis’s arrows,” said Bianca, “And even if that monster could it’s buried now.”

Then they see the sun setting and a light coming from the top of the Empire State Building.

“It’s starting,” said Daniel.

“What is?” asked Jun.

“The Winter Solstice Meeting,” said Artemis, “I must go and join the others.”

Then Artemis disappeared in a silver light.

“Everyone okay?” asked Daniel.

“Yea,” said Davis.

Kira says, with a plain tone, “Other than being shocked and surprised and nearly getting blasted.”

Chazz asks, with his snobbish tone, “Do you always do this weird stuff?”

Raye says, with a sly smile, “Princeton, you have yet to see ‘weird’ in our line of work.”

TK says, with a sly grin, “Yeah. We have seen things that are scarier and far weirder than this.”

Chazz gives a look of surprise and he says, with his usual snobbish tone, “All of you are freaks!”

Patamon says, with a whisper, “Look who is calling the kettle black.”

Veemon says, with a giggle, “Nice one, Patamon.”

Yusuke says, with a sly grin, “I’ll say.”

“Let’s go,” said Thalia.

“Where?” asked Izzy.

“Why to the meeting,” said Daniel, “To the 600th floor.”

“But there is none,” said Jun.

“Oh you’ll see,” said Daniel, “Andarta! Mount Olympus, 600th floor of the Empire State building!”

Then again in a flash of light our heroes disappeared.

(Mt. Olympus, Empire State Building, 600th floor)

We see our in front of a long table with 12 figures on chairs in a U-shape.

“Welcome to Mt. Olympus,” said a black haired man with a finely trimmed beard in a business suit.

“Father,” said Daniel and Thalia.

“Well this is becoming great,” said an 18 year old with black shades on, “Hello everyone.”

“That guy is hot,” said Jun to Sora.

Mimi says, with a dreamy look in her eyes, “I’ll say, Jun.”

“Well that guy,” said Ciera, “is my dad, Apollo.”

“Oh,” they said.

“We congratulate you on defending all of this,” said Zeus waving everywhere, “And we now give you gifts to help you in this future battle.”

“I shall go first,” said a grim looking man.

“I’m creeped out,” said Davis nervously.

Yusuke says, with a nervous tone, “Took the words right out of my mouth, Davis.”

“Don’t talk about our dad like that,” said Nico and Bianca.

“That’s your dad,” said Davis surprised.

“Yea,” said Bianca, “That’s Hades.”

“Oh,” said Davis.

TK tells Davis, “Way to go, Davis. Not exactly a good idea to anger the Greek God of the Underworld.”

Davis says, with an annoyed tone, “Thanks for the support, TK.”

“My gift to you is this,” said Hades holding out a candle.

“Okay Hades,” said Jaden, “But we have something called electricity.”

“This is no ordinary candle,” said Hades, “This candle will allow you to commune with the dead when lit, and it never melts.”

“Okay,” said Naruto, “I can get used to that. Believe it!”

Sasuke thinks in his mind, with a shake of his head, “Typical Naruto.”

“I give you the powers of the sky,” said Zeus waving his hand, “I give you the power of flight.”

“Really,” said Davis skeptically.

“You now each have charms,” said Zeus, “Activate them and you will gain wings.”

“Prodigious,” said Izzy with an amazed tone.

“I give you my gift,” said a man with sea-foam green eyes wearing a fisherman’s hat and khaki shorts and shirt, “I allow you to breathe underwater.”

“Guys this is my dad,” said Percy, “Poseidon, God of the Sea.”

Then one after one, gods gave our heroes gifts to help them on their quest. Apollo gave them purifying arrows. Artemis gave them Silver arrows that have the powers of the night. Demeter gave them magic seeds. Hera gave them peacock feathers that lull people to sleep. As our heroes received their gifts, they wondered what will come next.

Next time in Chapter 9: Mastering the Magic: After returning from Olympus, our heroes decided to test out the new cards that the Elemental Senshi gave them, starting with Kai dueling for Hilary’s freedom. After that Daniel and the Chrono Numbers create our heroes new celestial bronze weapon, which Daniel then upgrades, which continues with a session of training. Next, Jun and TK goes on the assault with Jun battling the brainwashed elder Rhodes siblings, Atticus Rhodes. On the meanwhile, TK decides to prove his metal when the SOL decides to send Missy for some payback against Syrus. After that our heroes take down the rest of the Society of Light’s brainpower by taking down Bastion. And it looks like its Alchemy against Water when Ciera shows what she got, and its better not to underestimate this girl. After that Trista is up as she is challenged by Bianca. However, in the aftermath of the duel with Trista, the Negaverse, after sometime in the sidelines, decides to rear its ugly head. However, when they attack, Davis decides to take the fight to Beryl by dueling her for the Millennium Eye. But our Digidestined of Miracles might have bitten off more than he can chew with the evil leader of the Negaverse. However, his Neos deck with his Egyptian God Card might get him out of his jam! After that the battle with the Negaverse is done, our heroes and heroines renew their battle with the SOL by freeing the last of the Sailor Scouts other than our Moon Princess. During the battle to capture, all of our heroes and heroines, not just the ‘Chosen Duelists’ within the ground, human and Digimon alike show off brand new powers and skills! Finally, it’s time for the tag duel with Raye and Amy vs. Lita and Mina. But in this tag duel, our ‘darkened’ heroes and heroines have a few ‘surprises’ from the brainwashed Senshi of Lightning and Love and it isn’t just a Shadow Game! What do we mean? Will Jun and TK take down the threats sent against them? Can Davis and his cards stand up to the fury of the evil queen of the Negaverse? Find out the answers to these questions and more on the next Joining of Heroes!
