Grizabella, the Glamour Cat

*Near the end of the song, the Rum Tum Tugger leaps onto the trunk of the car and points at something at the other end of the Junkyard. Out from a gap in the junk, an old, dilapidated cat with dirty and torn blonde fur and sorrowful violet eyes [GRIZABELLA] slowly, almost fearfully, walks out. Noticing her, the Rum Tum Tugger fluffs his mane and flicks his tail irritably. Most of the adult cats back off, but Quaxo slowly approaches her, paws held slightly out in front of him. As Grizabella reaches for his paws, Munkustrap leaps forward and pushes Quaxo away, glaring at Grizabella. Jemima walks forward with an outstretched paw, but Skimbleshanks steps in front of her and pulls her away. As Grizabella passes by Bombalurina, the brown cat pauses to glare at her before walking off. When Electra tries to touch paws, Jennyanydots cuts her off and glares at Grizabella. Further away from the adults, Alonzo stretches out his paw and beckons Grizabella closer. When the old cat takes a few steps towards him with her paw out, Alonzo suddenly scratches her arm and runs off quickly. From one side, Demeter cautiously approaches Grizabella, her paws held out hesitantly, Munkustrap watching closely. Just before Demeter and Grizabella's paws touch, Demeter backs off and Munkustrap steps between the two. Looking back, Demeter gives an ashamed look before sauntering off, Bombalurina approaching her and placing an arm about her shoulders. For a moment, Grizabella glares slightly at Munkustrap.*

Grizabella

Remark the cat who hesitates towards you

In the light of the door

Which opens on her like a grin

*From behind her, Victoria and Etcetera approach slowly, Jellylorum trying vainly to keep them back. Noticing them, Grizabella turns to Jellylorum.*

Grizabella

You see the borer of her coat

Is torn and stained with sand

*Jellylorum and the Kittens back off. Near Munkustrap, Cassandra stands and hisses at Grizabella before sauntering off.*

Grizabella

And you see the corner of her eye

Twists like a crooked pin

*As Grizabella starts to walk away, Demeter steps away from Bombalurina and looks at her.*

Demeter

She haunted many a low resort

Near the grimy road of Tottenham Court

She flitted about the No Man's Land

From "The Rising Sun" to "The Friend At Hand"

And the postman sighed as he scratched his head

You really had thought she'd ought to be dead

*As Demeter sings the next lines, Grizabella closes her eyes and turns her face to the ground in shame.*

Demeter

And who would ever suppose that that

Was Grizabella, the glamour cat?

*Grizabella opens her eyes again only to look to the ground in sadness. At that moment, Bombalurina approaches Demeter and places and arm about her shoulders.*

Bombalurina

Grizabella, the glamour cat

*At those words, Grizabella stands erect once more and continues to walk away, acting as though she can't hear the others.*

Demeter and Bombalurina

Grizabella, the glamour cat

All except Grizabella

*step forward and glare*

And who would ever suppose that that

Was Grizabella, the glamour cat?

*For a moment, Grizabella pauses, saddened, but then she continues her way out of sight.*

Done! ^^

Yami: Well, you seem happier than you did this afternoon while doing RTT's part.

Angel: Yeah, well, this afternoon I didn't have around ten mints in me - now I do.

Yami, Kura , and Teazer: Ah. Sugar rush.

Angel: Yup! ^^ *happily grabs Yami and Rumpleteazer and cuddles both of them* Now I have something to say that's out of my own will!

Others: Wow.

Angel: Shut-up. Cettie-girl, yes Quaxo winces in the vid - it's so kawaii. And as for your character guesses - Jerrie and Teazer = good; Tugger = good; Bombalurina = nope ^^ Only gender changed is Jerrie. Plus Seto comes in later. And Jennyanydots = nope ^^ Ok, I'm done. *resumes cuddling; looks at Bakura* The Box, if you will.
