Yugi- Dead Or Alive Volleyball Player?!

(Author's Notes: This is it! The final chapter ends here, and I will then work on and finish Yugi- Street Fighter!

Yugi: After that fanfic is completed, DJ will work on the Yu-Gi-Oh/Totally Spies crossover and Yugi: Spirit Blacksmith?!. From there, it's all good!

Darien: Heck, after those two are done, DJ is going to start a very unique crossover of the manga Saber Marionettes J and the cartoon show Yu-Gi-Oh! His brain is now on overload, and he just won't stop!

DJ: That is right! You wouldn't want me to stop writing, would ya?

Epilogue- Part 1

Zack was about to be a dead man, and I mean that literally. He was now backed up against the cold metal wall inside the cargo hold, him being lowered back down in it on the request of certain… parties. Those parties were now moving in on him from all sides; The DOA ladies (minus Kasumi and Ayane), the DOA boys, Yami and Co., Niki, Seto, and Cas. Heck, even Peorth and Laga took part of this via Seto's and Cas's watches. He was sweating bullets, and it showed greatly on his dark-brown brow. He gulped and managed to form a nervous, small smile. He asked shakily, "Hey, w-what's up?". That one small inquiry just set off a huge explosion! Niki went over to her now ex-boyfriend and just slapped the taste right out of his mouth! It was evident because there was a large, red handprint on the right side of his face. "You disgusting, lecherous, cowardly jerk!! You left me to die back there!!", she screeched. The old saying, "Hell hath no fury then a woman scored", was very much apparent here. Tina then strolled up, grabbed him by his collar, and hauled him high like he was nothing! "What's worse was that you tried to kill Yugi while we were on the island!", she declared icily. She dropped him back down, but not before slamming his body into the steel wall. Lei Fang stepped up to the plate this time, her eyes cold and absolutely terrifying. She cracked her knuckles twice and stated, "By the time we get through with you, you're going to wish you never even laid eyes upon us.". Seto looked up, and gave a hand motion to one of the crewmen. "Alright, he gave the signal! Close the hatch!", the crewman yelled out. Slowly, the doors of the hatch were closing, enshrouding the room in total darkness. Zack took one last look at the group, and he knew he was now in Hell. The group slowly marched forward, towards a terrified multi-millionaire, before being swallowed by total darkness.

~Two days later~

The ship had finally arrived in Domino City Harbor. The rest of the trip, was surprisingly eventful. Zack, after being brutally and unmercifully defeated by each fighter and friend of Yugi's, had been holed up in the brig. If one could see him now, they would have never recognized him. He was unconscious, out-cold for the next three days. Meanwhile, Yugi was healing along nicely and steadily. Others had taken Ayane's place of watching over the sleeping hero, but Kasumi remained by his side for the entire trip. When the boat entered and docked at the harbor, the entire group left as one. "Thanks for everything, Captain. You, and your crew.", Lisa told an old sea man dressed in a Captain's uniform. The captain chuckled and replied, "Think nothing of it, my dear.". After waving the crew good-bye, Lisa rejoined with the rest who were waiting for her down below. "How is Yugi doing?", she asked Kasumi. The buxom shinobi beauty carried the little one in her arms, as if he was a priceless treasure. She replied, "He's doing remarkably well. He may even wake up tomorrow.". That got a sigh out of nearly all of them. Bass grunted, "Hey, when can I put this son-of-a-bitch down? He's getting heavy!". Around his shoulder was a slumping Zack, out-cold and not responding to anything at all. Laga, from Cas's watch stated, "I just called the police, and informed them on what had occurred. Video tapes, witnesses, the works. They are awaiting your arrival, big man!". Bass thanked the cyber woman, then started to make his way downtown with Joey, Tristen, Seto, and the rest of the DOA boys. "I'll meet the rest of you back at Yugi's place, okay?", he told them. They all nodded, and when he was out of sight, Yami led everyone to the Game Shop.

Solomon Moto was busy taking in inventory for the afternoon, when a knock came from the front door. "Hmmm. Wonder who it can be at this hour?", he asked himself as he rose up from his chair in the living room. He went up, opened the front door, and was surprised to see so many people at one time! He asked, "What is going-?". He was cut short, however, when he saw his grandson in Kasumi's arms, out-cold and bandaged up. Yami stepped forward and said, "We'll tell you later. Right now, let's get Yugi back in his bed.". Agreeing with the ex-ruler of Egypt, the old man led the way across the living room, up the stairs, and straight towards Yugi's room at the end of the hall. Entering the domain, Kasumi gently laid the sleeping young man on his bed. The DOA girls were surprised to see that they were actually in Yugi's bedroom. Various puzzle games were neatly assembled on a small dresser drawer, posters of Duel Monsters littered the walls, and also pictures of Yugi's friends and family were propped on the main, large dresser drawer. Needless to say, his room was actually clean and tidy. "Wow. Nice room.", Hitomi said quietly. The only rooms of boys she saw into were usually messy and smelly. Solomon then ushered everyone out, and back downstairs to the living room. Once everyone was downstairs and situated comfortably in the living room, Solomon sat down in his armchair uneasily and asked, "Now, from the beginning, what on earth happened?". Without delay, the crew told each of their share of the story.

~Two hours later~

Solomon was truly amazed to hear on what had occurred. He relaxed into his armchair, taking in as much as he could. "Wow! What an amazing story!", he muttered out. Just then, the door opened and the rest of the gang came in. "So, how's Yugi?", Jann Lee asked. Cas stood up and answered, "He is doing well.". Hitomi stood up from the couch and asked, "What happened to Zack?". The Bruce Lee wanna-be smirked and told everyone the story. "Because of what he did, he's now in jail. His trail is set for three days from now.", he started out. Hayate said, "It was because of his written confession that it was possible.". Seto commented, "Thanks to Cas and Serenity, for thinking the idea up for us while turning the jerk to pulp.". The two ladies blushed at the praise they were now receiving. Bass came in, "Plus, it seemed that island he bought was $10,000,000! Now that its gone, he lost a whole lot of money! So now, he's just a $100,000 short of a million! Hahaha!". Everyone just had to laugh or chuckle at the thought of Zack losing a lot of money. Hayabusa and Hayate looked around the room, and noticed that someone was missing. "Where is Kasumi?", they asked. Laga and Peorth, from Seto and Cas's watches, answered, "She's upstairs in Yugi's room, watching over him.".

The shinobi master gazed down upon her crush, a warm feeling coursing through her body and soul. She gently bent down, kissing Yugi's lips lightly. She pulled back, carefully taking down every tiny detail of his physical scope in her memory. 'I hope he'll wake up soon.', she thought. Suddenly, the door quietly opened. She turned to look on whom it was, and it was her brother, his friend, and Yami. "Oh, hello.", she whispered. Hayate went up to his sister, a serious mask on his face. "Kasumi, there is something we need to talk about.", he said. She knew on what he was going to say; that he was going to bring her back to their home, and her being killed for disobeying the shinobi code. However, she was in for a little surprise. "I am listening, brother.", she replied. Hayabusa stepped beside his friend and asked, "Do you know on how our Masters honor and respect another leader's decision?". Kasumi was puzzled by this question, but nodded her head at the same time. Hayate continued, "Since Yami was a pharaoh, that means his status is equal to that of the Masters. Thus, whatever he says, they will have to honor.". Yami stepped up to the plate and finished, "And, I have just told Hayate and Hayabusa that from here on in, Domino City and everything else within its borders are strictly forbidden.". Kasumi was now gasping for air, wondering if she heard right. "You mean that-?!", she whispered with excitement. Hayate then formed a small, rare smile. He said, "That is right. When we return back home, and inform our Masters of this, Domino and its people will be off limits to them. That also includes… you.".

So, it was set. Kasumi was not going to be hunted down anymore! She was now free! With the Masters agents and shinobi assassins forbidden to even set foot in Domino, she was now free to be whatever she wanted to be without living in fear! She hugged her brother tightly, and he returned the favor. "Thank you! Thank you so much brother!", she whispered in his chest. He chuckled slightly, then released her. "It was the least I can do.", he said. Yami added, "Same with me. I owe Yugi too much to even be mentioned, so this is the very least I can do.". Hayabusa put a hand on his friend's shoulder and said, "Come, we have to leave now. There is no reason for us to be here now.". Nodding slightly to his comrade, the ninja bowed slightly to his sister for the final time. "Kasumi, good luck… and good bye.", were his final words. Without warning, the two threw a pair of flash bombs on the floor. A loud bang was heard, and a flash was flared up all around! By the time Yami and Kasumi uncovered their eyes, the duo was gone. "Thank you, brother. You now gave me a life.", she whispered to the empty room. Yami looked at her, then down at his hikari. He smiled and suggested, "How about we go downstairs with the others and get a bit of lunch?". She returned the smile and replied, "Sure. I'm sure Yugi is going to be fine for a few hours without me.". Yami nodded, and left the room. Kasumi was going to follow, but she bent over and gave the sleeping young man a crushing hug. "Yugi…. I finally have a chance to be with you.", she whispered in his ear. Satisfied, she gently laid him back down and left the room.

~At 9:00 p.m.~

The gang had now returned back to the Game Shop, tired but very happy. They had gone to see the movie Man on Fire, ate at a Pizza Hut resturanunt, and also did some karaoke singing at a local bar. "Hahaha! Man, that's the best time I had in awhile!", Serenity declared happily. Everyone agreed with her on that. Seeing that it was getting rather late, and the fact that everyone was tired, they decided to hit the hay. "Thanks for letting us stay here for the night, Mr. Moto.", Hitomi said while bowing down slightly to the old man. The rest of the DOA ladies followed suit. The men went back to their separate ways some time ago, but wished the group the best of luck with their futures and Yugi. "Haha! So formal, but not necessary around me. Just call me Grandpa, okay?", the old man exclaimed lightly. The girls just had to giggle, because Solomon was acting more like a young adult rather then a senior. "Alright, Grandpa.", Tina replied lightly. Saying their good-nights, the rest of the group departed; Serenity with her brother, Tea with Tristen, Duke with Mai, and Seto with Cas. "We'll be back in the morning, when Yugi wakes up.", Cas told them all. After leaving, Solomon closed down the shop. "Well, good-night kids.", he said while going upstairs. Yami went to the closet and took out some spare futons and covers for the ladies. "Get some rest girls. Something tells me you might all your energy for tomorrow.", he told them with a well-hidden smirk and tone. While the ladies settled down in the living room, Kasumi went upstairs. "Kasumi?", Christie inquired. She looked at them all and replied, "I'm going to sleep in Yugi's room, on the floor. I just like to watch over him for now.". After that, she went upstairs, into Yugi's room, and quietly shut/locked the door. The girls and Yami had knowing smiles on their faces.

~6:30 a.m. in the morning~

The sun's rays poured out from the horizon, greeting the earth with a new day. The warm glow poured into Yugi's room, filling it with a pleasant heat. Kasumi slowly stirred from her slumber, shifting slightly in her futon mattress on the cold, wooden floor. She rose from her position, and then… heard a very wonderful and reliving sound. It was Yugi's chest slowly rising up and down, indicating that he was now breathing! 'He's… He's awake!', her mind screamed with joy. With energy of that of a six-year old on a sugar rush, she burst forth from the room and ran downstairs. "Everyone! Wake up! Wake up!!", she shouted out. Groaning some, the girls were the first to hear the news. Tina rose up first, followed by Hitomi, Lei Fang, Lisa, Ayane, Christie, and Helena. "Yawn! What's with the shouting?", asked a grumpy Ayane. Before the shinobi could reply, descending from the stairs were Yami and a sleepy Solomon. "What's all the ruckus in here?", asked the old man. Kasumi exclaimed happily, "Its Yugi!! He's awake now!". That one little comment got everyone's attention quick! The girls and Solomon rushed back upstairs, while Yami went into the kitchen to make some important phone calls. 'I hope everyone comes here quick!', his mind said.

Fifteen minutes later, the entire gang was crowded in Yugi's room. "Think he'll wake up soon?", Cas inquired. Helena replied, "Hard to say. It could be any minute now, an hour, or…". Before she could finish her sentence, a low moan was heard from Yugi. Slowly, his violet eyes opened slightly and he tilted his head to see on where he was, and who was around him. "Hey, guys.", he said weakly. All of them sported warm smiles for the young man. "How are you feeling Yugi?", Laga asked, via Seto's portable laptop computer, which he propped, on a nearby desk. Apparently, Laga and her sister Peorth didn't want to miss out on the action. Yugi grinned weakly at the cyber woman and answered, "Like I just came out of a brawl with Jason Voorhees and Freddy Kruger.". They all laughed the little joke here, then calmed down some. "You gave us quite a scare, little man.", Christie said while ruffling the young man's hair playfully. Yugi chuckled, then coughed harshly. It would seem he was not quite fully healed. Kasumi immediately went to his side, followed by Cas, Serenity, Hitomi, and Lei Fang. "You okay? Need anything? Water?", they all asked a bit frantically. Yugi was amazed by their show of kindness, but he replied, "No, no. Its okay. I'm fine now.". Yami looked down at his hikari, a very sorrowful expression on his face. He asked for Yugi's attention, and the young man gave it to him. "Yugi, there is something we need to tell you.", the former Pharaoh said.

"Yugi, we just want to say we're very sorry for the way we been treating you.", Yami started out. Joey came in, "Yeah. We've been acting like real jerks here for awhile.". Tea said, "We know a mere apology isn't enough for what we did to you, so we're going to do whatever it takes to make it up to you.". Mai, Tristen, and Duke nodded their heads at this in agreement. Yugi was very much surprised to hear them sound so serious, yet alone apologetic. Soon, he broke into a weak smile. He said, "Its okay, guys. I forgive you.". Those simple words astounded nearly all of them in the room. Mai inquired, "After all we put you through, you're forgiving us just like that?!". Yugi managed a weak chuckle and he explained, "Yeah, I do. Besides, all of that is in the past now. I don't like to dwell on things in the past, only try to make a better future. Just promise me that you will try to change. If not for me, then for yourselves.". Those words were very profound to most of them, but only Seto smirked widely. 'Only someone like Yugi could say something like that, something from the heart.', he said to himself. In only a split second, Tea hugged Yugi hard in relief. The rest joined her, soon becoming one large group hug. Yugi was relieved too, glad to have his friends back to the ones he used to know. After they all released him, Yugi's stomach growled loudly. The young man blushed a bright red, as everyone giggled/chuckled at this. "Hungry, Yugi?", Tina asked teasingly. He gave a small nod, then Kasumi left to go down to the kitchen. "Anything you want to for breakfast, Yugi?", she asked sweetly.

Forty-five minutes later, Yugi was eating a declious meal cooked up by Cas, Serenity, and Kasumi. On a tray in front of him was a plateful of pancakes, sausage patties, strips of bacon, two tall glasses of ice-cold milk and orange juice, and some fresh fruit on the side. "Mmm! Thank you all for the food! It's the best I ever had!", the young man declared happily before gulping down some milk. The three ladies blushed brightly from the compliment. In not time flat, Yugi finished the meal. He patted his stomach and smiled warmly. "That hit the spot.", he said with a grin. Just then, Ayane asked for everyone to leave. "I believe Kasumi would like to talk to Yugi… in private.", she said. Ushering everyone out, she gave her half-sister a small wink before leaving herself. Kasumi was now red as a tomato, her hands doing her best to cover her face. 'What?! Why did Ayane do this?! I don't know what to say to him!', her mind screamed out. She then felt a warm, soft hand on her shoulder. She found her red face now staring at a curious Yugi Moto. "Kasumi, what is it that you wanted to tell me?", he asked. With those cute, big eyes of his boring into hers, and a small smile on his face, Kasumi's face was now flushing with embarrassment and her heart beating faster then Sonic the Hedgehog! "Well… I… that is, well…", she started to say, but was not able to finish any of her sentences. She was just too embarrassed. Yugi then made a bold move and inquired, "Where going to say something about… your feelings towards me?". She turned to him with wide, shocked eyes. "H-How do you know this?!", she exclaimed. For really, she didn't know he was going to ask that type of question.

(Author's Notes: So, the final question is about to be answered! What will Yugi say? That, I will leave up to your imagination! The real final chapter is next, so stay tuned in!
