A Fishy Tale

Chapter 3

Yugi came home, and as usual ran into the room where Yami had been staying lately. "Yami! Yami, I'm home!", Yugi said.

Yami's head emerged from the water, and he twisted around so he would be floating on his back. "You've gotten a bit chubby.", Yugi pointed out.

Yami rolled unto his stomach, "So, you're the one giving me dead fish, I'm use to chasing them before eating them.", Yami admitted, "So I get activity before my meals.",

"I'll see if Grandpa can't try to keep them alive then.", Yugi told him, "How does being a merman feel like? Weird different, what?",

"Normal, it's just, normal....", Yami said.

"Do you think I could become.... Nah, that's silly.", Yugi shook it off.

"What? Oh, become one like me for a while, yeah, I can put a two day limit on it.", Yami said, "Just because I'm like this doesn't mean I still can't use my magic.",

"So you could, if I wanted you to?", Yugi asked.

"Yes.", Yami said, "I could.",

"Would you?", Yugi wanted to know.

"I would, but, not a forever thing, that, I would never want to wish on anyone else.", Yami told him, "Two days.",

"Okay, let me just go tell Grandpa, all right?", Yugi said.

"Okay.", Yami agreed.

Never before had he heard of anyone wanting to swim with him, the Greeks thought he would kill them, or draw their boats to run aground. Others just didn't care about him.... But, Yugi, Yugi was.... Different, he cared more for Yami then anyone had before.

"All right, Grandpa says I can, but, that I have to take off my cloths if I'm going to get into the water.", Yugi said.

"Whatever, I won't look.", Yami told him, turning the other way.

"Okay, I'm ready for it.", Yugi said.

"I bequeath thee to the waters for two moons.", Yami said.

Yugi felt the changes in his body as he was turned into what Yami had been over five thousand years before... His legs had an odd electric sensation shoot through them as they combined then changed, he slowly slipped down to the side of the bath, for his legs were no longer able to help him stand, but swim. Yugi felt himself slip, though he still felt foggy into the waters below himself. They welcomed him openly. Yugi spun downward and only held his breath out of habit, but soon found he could breath just as easily as he could above water. He finally opened his eyes to find Yami pulling him back up to the surface. "What does it look like?", Yugi asked, turning around to try to catch a glance of his tail.

"It's lovely, with a bluish purplish coloration to it.", Yami told him.

Yugi swam from that end to the other end of the pool, effortlessly, and then back.

....

"Well, Yugi, you sure you're settled in for the night?", Grandpa asked.

"Yes, Grandpa, I am.", Yugi said.

"Well then, goodnight you two.", Grandpa kissed both Yami, and Yugi on the foreheads goodnight, then left.

"So, are you able to reproduce? Or do you think you can't?", Yugi asked.

"Oh, I could, but, I've never had anyone to try it with. Yami explained, "And even if so, it'd be hard to try under water.",

"I'll try it with you, if you'd like.", Yugi said.

"I don't know...", Yami said.

"Oh please?", Yugi's lip started to tremble ever so slightly.

"All right.", Yami agreed to try, at least try.

The two of them clung together as they spiraled head first down into the water. Yugi felt something brush his tail, it was Yami's tail, he noticed. As they landed at the bottom of the pool deep bath, Yugi felt something enter him it was odd, he didn't even need stretching, or any type of pleasurable things done. It was a simple intertwining of the bodies, just close enough for the two to meet at that point. Yugi moaned with it too. Yami, needing this more than he realized pushed farther. Yugi went limp in his arms, but, was all right. Yami pulled out then, feeling sheepish over his sudden push to fulfill that need. Yugi regained his senses, before going up to Yami's side, and then kissing him a long, and loving kiss. The two once more tumbled to the bottom of the bath, tails intertwined once more. They didn't know how long they did this for, but when they did get to sleep, it was in each other's arms...

....

The next morning, the two woke to find fish swimming about them, Yami, being used to it, wasn't surprised, and simply started to try to catch one. "What are you doing?", Yugi asked, still above water.

"It's breakfast, I'm going to catch it for myself.", Yami said.

Yugi watched as Yami corralled the fish into a corner, before he came back up, one flopping in his mouth. He waited until it died completely before he took it out as well. "See, it's easy.", Yami told him, "You should try it, it's fun.",

"Okay.", Yugi nodded diving under.

Yami watched at Yugi's many attempts at catching his own fish, all of which didn't go out as planned. Finally, Yami dove under, and caught Yugi easily by his fins. He then showed Yugi how he did it, by catching Yugi's meal for the morning. Then, Yami and Yugi spent the day swimming, Yami instructing Yugi how to do certain things. How to jump from the water, how to catch fish, and how to go at a constant speed without tiring out. eventually, the two sat on the stairs leading into the bath, their tails still inside the water, as Yami told stories about ships he'd watched sink into the ocean. "There was one that the sea was swimming with humans.", Yami told Yugi, "It was rather cold for the time of season, and I noticed that it had been hit by an iceberg on one side. She was taking on water pretty quickly too.", Yami said, "It was rather late when they told everyone to get to the life boats, and even then there wasn't even near enough. Worse thing was, they kept a whole lot of the people in the lower decks there.",

"It was the Titanic wasn't it?", Yugi asked.

"Yes it was.", Yami said, "There was nothing I could do though, except save one, or two children who had been flung from the ship herself. Those, I dumped into life boats while no one saw me.",

"I see.", Yugi said, "You save one person, you save the world whole.",

"What does that truly mean?", Yami really wanted to know.

"It means that by saving those two children, they grew up, had kids, then their kids had kids. So by saving them, you saved all of their children.", Yugi explained.

"I see.", Yami said.

In the second night, the two stayed up late, going about the same activities as the night before, only more so pleasurable., then, the morning of the last day Yugi would be a merman came, which was all right, for the two of them became closer to each other from it.
