"~Kaibas? You're kidding right?~"
"Nope." Joey was still laughing at the shock in Tristans voice. "This place is amazing. I have my own personal guard, and my own personal driver, who will be driving me to and from school everyday. I have, practically my own apartment. It's heaven."

"~ So what's the catch?~" Tristan asked.

"That's what I want to know. I haven't seen Kaiba yet, so I don't know."

"~ I hope I still have you when all this is over.~" Tristan sounded generally concerened.

"Aww, don't worry, everything will be fine."

"~ I think you are lying. You seem way to calm about being at Kaibas.~"

"I'm not lying Trist. Would I lie to you?"

"~Well . . . no. But prove it. Let me come over.~"

"I can't. Well, actually I don't know if I can. Kaiba hasn't told me the rules yet."

"~Well as soon as you know tell me, I want to check out this place.~"

"Yeah, I want you guys too. It's awesome. He also has his own virtual reality duel monsters field."

"~That's pretty cool.~"

"Yeah. Oh man, and there's a -" a knock interrupted Joey's sentance. "Hold on." He said to Tristan. "Yes?" he called.

"Dinner Sir Joey. You asked me to come and lead you to the dinning hall." It was Seth.

"I got to go, dinner is ready. I'll call you later tonight, or talk to you tomorrow."

"~Okay, but seriously call me if he does anything weird.~"

"You worry too much Trist. Later." Joey hung up the phone and opened the door.

"I was beginning to worry Sir."

"Seth, Seth, please it's Joey."

"Yes, Joey. So sorry." he bowed slightly.

"It's aight."

Seth began leading the way down to dinner when a crackly voice sounded from, seemingly, no where. "Ground leaf, do you have a twenty on the blonde."

"Check, he's in my site blue eyes."

"Very good." the voice responded. Joey recognized the voice. It was Kaibas.

"He lets you call him 'blue eyes'?"

"Only when speaking directly through a transmitter. If I were to dare call him 'blue eyes' to his face I would probably be fired." he almost laughed.

"What's it like talking in codes all the time?"

"It's very simple actually. I can go over the basics with you sometime if you like." Seth still held his professional manner, but he was talking like a normal person now.

"That would so cool. Tristan and the guys would have no idea what I was talking about."

"Very good Joey." Seth bowed, and motioned that they were in the dinning hall. Joey gasped in surprise, not realizing he was already there.

He noticed Kaiba, sitting at the head of the table. Kaibas brother, Mokuba, was sitting next to him and the rest of the table was empty.

"Sit." Kaiba ordered. Joey sat down in the seat that Kaiba had pointed to. Across from Mokuba and on the other side of Kaiba.

"Great place." Joey said casually.

"Thank you." Kaiba didn't seem like he really appreciated the comment.

"Seth is cool too, and Gustovo. Nice guys."

"Yes, the staff is adequit."

"Kaiba?" Joey looked around at all of the staff standing at the sides of the room, in the same manner which Seth stood. "Why aren't they eating?" he nearly whispered.

"The staff does not eat until the masters of the house, and their guests, are through with their meals and have left the dinning hall." Kaiba answered.

"Oh." Joey felt really bad eating while they were all standing there. Who needed twenty guys to watch you eat?

"Say Kaiba -"

"Can you be quiet for more than half a minute?" Kaiba rose his voice but made no other inclanation he was angry.

"Sorry, I'm just not use to all this." Joey shrugged.

An uncomfortable silence passed for the next few minutes. When the main course was brought out Kaiba finally spoke. "What were you going to say?"

"I was going to ask if I could have guests come over." Joey smirked. Apparently the curiosity had gotten the best of Kaiba.

"Of course not. Why would I want your friends in my house?"

"That's not very nice Seto. If you're making him do what you said you were then he should at least be able to have his friends over." Mokuba spoke up.

"Mokuba." Kaiba said pointedly.

"Shutting up." Mokuba quickly took a bite of teriyaki.

"What exactly do I have to do?" Joey asked.

"Nothing." Kaiba smirked. "Yet."

"Just tell me." Joey didn't feel like waiting in anticipation any longer.

"Not in mixed company. I'll drop by your room later this evening." that ended the conversation.

Dinner was finished by seven forty five. Joey began wandering around the mansion, trying to find his room. He still had some geometry homework to do. He went up the second flight of stairs and noticed he was at room '45' he needed to get to '47'. He walked down to the next room and put his card in the lock. The door opened and he stepped in, tossing his 'key' on the side table.

He looked up to see Kaiba sitting on his overstuffed chair. "Aaah!" he jumped back slightly.

"Did you get lost?" he asked.

"Yeah, actually." Joey retaliated.

"Next time, don't keep me waiting."

"Yes Sir." Joey mocked a salute and sat down on the couch. "So, what do I have to do?"

"You, must cater to my every whim."

"You have a staff for that." Joey explained.

"Yes. I do. But, I have more whims than staff." Kaiba had a weird look in his eye.

"Great. What shall I do for you?" Joey asked.

"Nothing. Yet. When I think of something I'll let you know." Kaiba stood up and left the room.

Joey ignored the brief encounter and changed out of his school uniform.

"By the way," Kaiba was suddenly back in the room. Joey backed away from the door, hiding his half naked form. "I nearly forgot to mention, if you would like your clothes to be washed at any point, simply leave them on the floor, Bridgetta, your personal maid, will pick them up every morning and return them before you get home from school." Kaiba began to leave, "Nice boxers by the way." the doors closed behind him.

Joey growled slightly and went back to the living room area. He called Tristan, as he had promised.

"~Hey, this is Tristan.~"

"Hey Tristan it's Kaiba." Joey smiled.

"~Funny.~" Tristan rolled his eyes, though Joey couldn't see.

"I'm not allowed to have friends over." Joey announced.

"~He's up to something. What does he want you to do for him?~"

"He said 'I want you to cater to my every whim'."

"~So, has he 'whimmed' anything?~"
"Not yet. He said he has nothing for me to do yet. I bet he's planning something really horrible like . . . giving him a foot massage or cleaning the algae off the pool with my tongue." Joey shuddered just thinking of the things Kaiba could make him do.

"~Don't say those ideas too loud, he just might use 'em.~"

"Good point. Anyway, I got to finish my Geometry homework. I just wanted to call you like I said I would."

"~What kind of homework is it?~"

"We're working with the angular size and stuff."

"~Want some help?~"

"If you're willing to help without being face-to-face."

"~Of course I am. Let me get my book.~" there was a short silence on the other side of the line.

"~Okay, which chapter is your class on?~"

The tutor session went into the night. Tristan had been yelled at, twice, because his mother wanted to use the phone. Finally at nine thirty Tristans mother threatened to unplug the phone altogether and he had to go.

"~I'll see you tomorrow Joey.~"

"Night Tristan." Joey hung up the phone and yawned loudly. Somehow, doing homework wasn't so bad when you did it with a friend.

Joey turned off the living room lights and crawled into bed, switching off the light beside the bed as he did so. He yawned once more and fell asleep.

Joey woke up to a rapping on his door. He rolled over, and the sun reflected brightly in his eyes. He rolled over again and slowly began awakening. He took a minute to remember where he was, and why he was there. He yawned as comprehention hit him. All the while the rapping on this door continued. Putting on his pants he went to the door.

"What?" he asked through a yawn. Thinking the person on the other side of the door would be Kaiba. "Oh, hey Seth. What's up?" he asked in a more friendly tone.

"Breakfast will be served in the dinning room promptly at seven. Shall I wait to accompany you?" his hands were linked, resting comfortably in front of his stomach.

"If you have nothing better to do." Joey shrugged.

"Very well Joey. I will be waiting to take you to breakfast." Seth announced, taking a seat in a chair (conviently located at the end of the hallway).

"'kay." Joey closed the door and got dressed. He dressed in his second uniform, so that his original could be washed as Kaiba suggested.

He took his card-key off the night stand and put it in his back-pack before heading out the door.

"Is everything in order Joey?" Seth asked. It was obvious he was trying to call 'Joey' by his name rather than 'Sir'.

"Yeah." Joey nodded, not quite sure if he was forgetting any of his school things. "So, what is for breakfast?" he asked, attempting to make small talk.

"For today's breakfast there will be a fruit cup served to start, followed by a delux omelet, complete with American cheese, ham, green peppers, and onions. Homefries on the side. Lastly, Blueberry Beligian Waffles, topped with a smackeral of whip cream. Coffee, or tea for a beverage, and of course orange juice." Seth announced.

"Wow. Usually I just have cereal."

"We have cereal Sir if you prefer."

"No, no that sounds great." Joey tried to show his enthusiasm. He didn't have the heart to say he would be picking at the omelet because he didn't care for eggs.

As they entered the dinning room Seth stood by the other members of the staff.

Joey sat where he had at dinner the previous night, across from Mokuba and on the right side of Kaiba.

A small selection of melon and grapes were laid out in a fruit cup in front of him. He ate all of the fruits, trying to avoid the pineapples. When they brought around the first course of breakfast, Joey looked at the omelet. He was discouraged that he couldn't just skip to the blueberry waffle (even breakfast was served in 'courses'). He picked through his omelet; trying to eat as much as possible so as not to offend anyone, while eating most of his homefries.

The waffles came out and he was able to consume most of it happily. By now, however, he was beginning to feel very full. Finally, as breakfast ended and the dishes were being cleared away, Kaiba got up and headed for the door. Joey didn't ask him what he was doing - it was obvious he was going to school - instead, Joey followed his motions.

Seth walked two steps behind Joey, until they reached the front driveway. Mokuba (going to a different school then Joey and Kaiba) entered his own limo. Kaiba got into his own limo and Seth motioned for Joey to get into his.

As the limos left the driveway, Joey rolled down the dividing window between the passengers and the driver.

"Hey Gustavo?"

"Yes Sir?"

"Could you stop at 28 Penkin Street?"

"Yes Sir." Gustavo replied, detouring away from the other limosuines.

As they stopped outside the aforementioned house Joey called to Gustavo, saying he would be right back. Seth began following.

"Just stay here." Joey requested. "I'll be right back." he went up the small set of stairs and knocked on the light blue door.

"Hello?" the door opened, "Oh, Joey, how lovely to see you dear. Tristan is almost ready for school. Did you come to walk together?"

"Yes Ma'am." Joey replied sheepishly. He never was much good at talking to Tristans parents.

"See ya later Mom." Tristan kissed his mother on the head, before he even realized Joey was standing there. "Oh, hey Joey." Tristan smiled.

"Come on, I got us a ride." Joey stepped aside, allowing Tristan to traut down the stairs.

"Whoa! Holy, where did this come from?" Tristan asked.

"Nice seeing you again Ma'am." Joey nodded to Tristans mother and he too decended the stairs.

"You as well Joey. Come and stay over sometime. I'll bake cookies." she smiled brightly.

"How can I refuse your cookies?" he waved, flashing a smile. "Good bye."

"So is this Kaibas?" Tristan asked.

"Yeah. Tristan this is Seth, Seth Tristan." Joey introduced.

Suddenly Seth began patting down Tristan.

"Hey! What is this guy doing?" Tristan asked, automatically raising his hands in the air.

"If you are in contact with Joey it is procedure that I check you for arsen on your person."

"Relax Seth. It's cool." Joey interjected.

"Affirmative Sir."

"Hey." Joey said in a jokingly reprimending tone.

"Joey, sorry." Seth apologized.

"He is my bodyguard." Joey explained to Tristan.

"You neglected to mention the pat down." Tristan whispered back.

"Joey, school begins in fifteen minutes. Better to not be late." Seth spoke up.

"Yes sir." Joey opened the car door and allowed Tristan to slide in.

"Holy schnikes!" Tristan said upon entering.

Joey got in behind him, followed ever as closely by Seth. When the door closed, they were off again.

"Just don't let on that I gave you a ride huh? If Kaiba knows I bet he'll make me walk." Joey said, as Tristan continued examining every button and compartment available.

"I highly doubt that." Seth scoffed.

"Why?" Joey and Tristan asked together.

"Never mind Joey. We are at school." Seth stepped out of the car and allowed Tristan and Joey to exit.

"We will arrive to pick you up promptly at three. Anything I can do for you today? Any errands you need me to run?" Seth asked, practically begging for something to do.

"Uh, no. Sorry." Joey shrugged simpathetically.

"Very well. I will be here at three. Have a nice day Joey. Tristan." Seth got into the car and Gustavo drove off again.

"Come on Joey." Joey snapped back and followed Tristan into the building.
