Mistress: It's been forever since I updated but certain things have just been happening. I suddenly got a small muse that helped me write this chapter. It's crap but I hope it's at least somewhat acceptable.

Chapter 21: A Kiss Is A Million Words

My hand runs along the letters of the book. I wonder if we'll get to finish it. School is starting again for you and our visit are almost stopping. I smile as I hear the door open; you now have your own key so I needn't run through the house to open the house. You rush in and apologize for your absence. I wave away your apology and begin to read as you seat yourself.
The next week passed by in a blur, as did the semester exams. As predicted Ryou, Yugi, Malik, and even Yumi passed with flying colors. Yami barely managed to scrape a passing grade, Marik failed and had to take a re-test and surprisingly enough Bakura gained a score of 98/100.

Yumi, Malik, Ryou, and Yugi were once again gathered outside at their favorite spot during their free period. Yumi stretched and let herself plop down to the ground.

“It sure is good to finally be rid of those exams!” Yumi exclaimed as she spread her arms out.

“Although I agree it is a relief it wasn't that big of a deal,” Ryou said as he sat down, “although the essay part of the language arts did give me a little trouble.”

“Yes but you got above High Aptitude, markings in math Ryou. You too Malik,” Yugi pointed out as he seated himself next to Yumi.

“AH but don't forget you yourself got above average on the math and an Exceeds Expectations in History and a High Aptitude in L.A.,” Malik argued as he too seated himself.

Yumi opened her mouth to point out that she was getting tired of listening to exam scores, or anything that had to do with exams but stopped as she was who was approaching. Bakura Ryou. Yumi nudged Ryou, “You're student is approaching at….not 2…uhm….12 o' clock.”

Ryou looked up and smiled as his eyes found Bakura. The white haired boy stopped and waved at Ryou, indicating that he should come over. Ryou glanced at his friends and before even getting the chance to say anything Yumi had pushed him to his feet and towards Bakura. As Ryou turned back to glare Yumi put her hands together in a halo shape over her head. Ryou stopped as he reached Bakura.

“Hey Bakura, what do you need? Oh! How did you do on your exams?” Ryou asked at once.

Bakura smiled and took Ryou's arm leading him away from watching eyes and hearing ears. Ryou looked up at Bakura confused.

“My lowest test grade was a 98,” Bakura said proudly with a grin.

“….Wow! I'm so happy for you! Congratulations!” Ryou exclaimed and gave Bakura a hug.

With a squeak Ryou let go and moved away from Bakura.

“I'm sorry, I forgot,” Ryou mumbled apologetically.

Bakura smiled down at Ryou and after glancing around gave Ryou a brief kiss.

“It's alright, but to celebrate… I thought that maybe we should go out to eat,” Bakura said awkwardly.

Ryou glanced up at Bakura with shinning eyes.

“Of course! When?” Ryou asked and then scolded himself.

“Is today okay with you?” Bakura asked after glancing around once more to make sure no one was watching.

In truth Ryou had another one of his jobs that day but wanted to spend time with Bakura even more, “Yes, it's perfect.”

“Good, then I'll come pick you up from your house, hopefully this doesn't interfere with any of your plans or job,” Bakura said as he began to walk away.

“No No,” Ryou assured him, “it's fine really.”

Bakura grinned at Ryou and walked away. Ryou grinned after him his mind in a daydream. He walked back to his friends looking extremely pleased.

“What's got you smiling?” Yumi asked with a sly grin suspecting the reason for Ryou's blissful grin.

“Oh nothing, just happy the exams are over,” Ryou said.

Malik raised his eyebrow at his friends as he watched Ryou sit with a small smile on his face. At the end of the day Malik had hurried home and Ryou had also left in a hurry to get ready for his job. Yumi seeing and opportunity asked Yugi if he wanted to come over to her house. She was bored and wanted the company. Yugi, having nothing better to do agreed.

The two arrived home and Yumi introduced Yugi to her parents. After polite greetings had been exchanged the two headed upstairs. After a few minutes of talking and imagining someone knocked on Yumi's door. Yumi pulled the hatch open to reveal Yami.

“What brings you here my dear brother?” Yumi asked as she helped him up.

Yami pulled a bag of chips and a plate after him.

“First I've been banished from downstairs, and second I was told to bring you this,” he said holding up the sour cream and onion chips bag.

Yumi grinned and grabbed the bag, “Lookit Yugi! Sour Cream and Onion!”

Yugi grinned and walked over to Yumi. Stealing the chips he hopped back onto Yumi's bed. Yumi pushed Yami forwards as he started to stand. Within a blink of an eye Yumi had disappeared down the stairs closing and locking her door. Yami had safely landed on the bed next to Yugi, sadly scaring the daylight out of him in the process.

“Damn bitch,” Yami muttered.

“You wouldn't be talking about your lovely sister now would you?” Yugi asked sweetly.

Yami turned his head and couldn't help but have his deprived and perverted mind take over. Yugi was lying rather suggestively, although Yugi did not know this, on the bed while chewing on the chips. With practiced secrecy Yami let his eyes soak in Yugi's picture. He could just imagine what Yugi's sweet body would feel like. With an inward groan Yami noticed that he had grown an attraction to the boy. Not only physical attraction but also emotionally the boy had grown on him.

“Yami are you okay? You don't look so good,” Yugi said putting his forehead to Yami's. “You don't have a fever unless I have one too.”

It was too much for Yami. Having Yugi so close to him drove him over the edge. Yami leaned in and placed a strong passionate kiss on Yugi's lips. Downstairs Yumi was grinning while playing cards with her parents. Poker to be exact.

“So you think he'll be the one?” Mr. Moto asked as he pulled himself two cards.

“Yep, they're made for each other,” Mrs. Moto said, “I saw it in the way they look at each other.”

Yumi laughed as she added a chip into the pile, “Yugi'll be the one to break down his jackass barriers…and I'm pretty sure some other barriers will be broken too.”

“Yumi!” Mrs. Moto exclaimed.

“What? Just saying what's on my mind,” Yumi said as she glanced at her parents, “Royal Flush.”

“What! Again!” Mr. Moto exclaimed as Yumi pulled the money and the chips towards her.

Meanwhile Ryou had gotten himself ready with a shower and a change of clothes. He wore not his usual school attire but a pair of tight black jeans, but not too tight, and a loose t-shirt with a black trench coat, one that had been a gift from Yumi. A few moments later Ryou heard a knock on his door. Springing forward he opened the door.

“Hey Bakura,” Ryou said as he stepped out.

Bakura could almost not utter his greeting at the sight of Ryou.

“You should wear that to school,” Bakura commented as they headed to his car, “you'd be a shoo in for the better circles.”

“No thanks, I'd rather be liked for who I am not my looks besides, I don't dress like this for just anyone,” Ryou said as they sat down into the car.

Bakura grinned and leaned over to give Ryou a deep kiss, “I'm honored.”

Malik sat in his house alone seeing as his parents had left for a brief trip, a second honeymoon. They had left him to fend for himself for the next three months and although he didn't care much for his parents it bothered him. Malik was very surprised when he heard a knock on his door.

As he opened it he said, “If you're looking for the parents they left on a three month long honeymoon.”

“I'm not interested in your parents,” a familiar voice said.

Malik looked more closely at his guest. It was Marik the person he most wanted to see and the person he wished would never get near him again. Since their brief encounters and trip to the car show the tanned blond had been the center of Malik's dreams, and not all of them were that clean.

“Uh hey, why are you here?” Malik asked and then quickly corrected himself, “I mean hi.”

Marik laughed lightly, “Seeing as your parents aren't home I guess I can just take you then. It's only a small token but I thought you might want to come. I have a race in a few minutes and although it's not much compared to the show you might want to come.”

Malik stared at Marik, “You want ME to come? Out of your own free will you are asking me?”

Marik grinned down at the boy who had been his most recent obsession, “Yes, so you coming or not?”

Malik grabbed the keys for the house and slammed the door shut, “Let's go.”

Yami pulled back from the kiss panting slightly. Yugi was flushed but unlike Yami had expected, grinning. Yugi hesitated slightly before shyly kissing Yami back.

`Well this is a pleasant surprise,' Yami thought as he moved closer to Yugi.

The two pulled apart, “Thank you…” Yugi said softly.

“What are you thanking me for?” Yami asked as he sat up.

“OH nothing really….so do you? I mean….uh,” Yugi asked growing more shy by the second.

Yami grinned and bent down to kiss Yugi, “Of course.”

Bakura and Ryou stood at Ryou's door. The dinner had been nothing too huge in Bakura's opinion but Ryou had been amazed at the quality of the place. They stood at the door saying their last good byes.

“So uhm… I guess now I won't be tutoring you anymore,” Ryou said meekly sad that he had lost his excuse to visit Bakura.

Bakura bent down to kiss, “You can come anytime.”

Ryou brought his arms around Bakura's neck and kissed back with much more force. Bakura pleasantly surprised by Ryou's forwardness pushed him up against the wall rubbing their groins together. They broke apart panting.

“Love you Bakura,” Ryou whispered as his body began to heat up.

“Love you too,” Bakura whispered as he let his hands begin to wander down to Ryou's tight pants.

Before Bakura could do anything however Ryou brought his hands down to stop him.

“Not yet…sorry…but you'll have to wait. I don't…at least not here…” Ryou said afraid that his decision would chase Bakura away.

Bakura smiled and kissed Ryou, “Alright. I'll wait forever if I have to. Good night.”

With that Bakura left Ryou to walk back into his empty apartment. As Ryou changed and began to get ready for bed he noticed that his cold house didn't seem so dark anymore.

Marik drove Malik home after they had stopped at the Diner. They stood at the door.

“I didn't think anybody but Bakura could eat that much,” Marik commented as he walked Malik to his door.

“Well I was hungry,” Malik defended, “but thanks for taking me. That was some impressive driving.”

Marik shrugged and stopped at the door, “Are you going to be okay?”

Malik stared at Marik, “Of course I am. Why?”

“You'll be all alone for a month or two,” Marik said remembering what Malik had said as he had opened the door.

“Three months actually, and it's not like I'll miss my parents,” Malik said as he stuck his key into the door.

Marik pulled Malik's hand back, “Hey, how about you come stay at my house?”

Malik stared once more at Marik thinking he had lost his mind, “I could've just sworn you asked me to stay at your place.”

“I did ask, and it's just until your parents come back. We have plenty of room and Isis is dying to meet you,” Marik said.

“Isis?”

“My sister,” Marik said as he let go of Malik's hand.

“…Why?” Malik asked as he opened his door.

Marik bent down and kissed Malik softly, “Good enough of an answer?”

Malik numbly nodded, “Let me get some stuff together…”

Yumi knocked on her door before entering.
“Finally!” Yami said angrily.

“Now now, you shouldn't be mad. Besides I need you to bring Yugi home,” she glanced at Yugi, “sorry Yugi.”

“It's no problem but what's that you're holding?” Yugi responded.

“OH I played Poker against my parents,” Yumi said holding up her bag of winnings.

Yami sighed and shook his head, “Come on Yugi. Let's leave Yumi to count her spoils.”

I close the book and we share a grin. I hear something ringing and within seconds notice it is your cell phone. You have to leave again. Ah, no worries. Until next time.
