Chapter 2 Phone calls

 

After Tals dropped Liz off at her home, she decided to go home and crash for awhile. Since she had hardly gotten any sleep for the last few weeks. Once in her apartment the brunette fell upon the couch and slept. As her dreams progressed she found herself in a familiar space. It was her soul room. Soon at the door she saw the Agent of Force - Mars. He beckoned her to follow him and she obeyed.

 

After following the fairy-type monster she was in a very familiar hallway. Straight head of her was a black door she dare not go near. Never had she entered it and never was the way she wanted to keep it. Mars put a hand on her frightened girls' shoulders. She then followed him into the room.

 

Once inside she came upon a white robbed figure. It was a female in figure on closer inspection. She walked up to Tals and the brunette stepped back. Soon she backed up into Mars. The woman laid a hand on Tals' head. The girl closed her eyes. Then the clocked figure spoke, “Do not fear me, partner.” Tals was about to ask a question when she heard a noise.

 

Riinnnngggggg!! Brriiiiinnnnngggggg!!

 

Tals fell off the couch startled. Grumbling she picked up the phone, “Hello?”

“Hi,” said Liz.

“What the fuck, how'd you get this number it's unlisted,”

“I stole it from the truck!”

“Nice, what do ya want?”

“Have you been hearing voices in your head?”

“Why?”

“Because I did just a few moments ago and my mom told me to take my medication,” *BEEP*

“What was that?”

“My phone someone's on the other line.” *BEEP*

“Well answer it,”

“Ok,” Liz presses the button.

 

“Hello,” said Liz.

“Hello,” said an elderly man, “I'm Mr. Mouto, is this Pizza Hut?”

“Are you serious?!”

“Yes,”

“You have the wrong number!!”

“Oops, sorry young lady,” he hung up.

 

“Hello,” said Liz.

“Hey what took you?” Tals questioned.

“An old man called and asked if this was Pizza Hut,”

“Don't tell me Grandpa Mouto,”

“How'd you know?”

“I did some stalking,” *BEEP* “That's me, hang on a sec,”

 

“Hi,” Tals spoke.

“I know where you live,” said a male voice.

“Is this the Ghostbusters?”

“Huh?!?”

“Yeah, I've been calling about the ghost in my attic,”

“This isn't the Ghostbusters!!”

“Then who the fuck is this?”

“I'm Marik, I was one of people chasing you in the museum,”

“God Damn!!!!” hangs up on him.

 

“Hello? Hello?” Marik questioned into the phone, “She hung up on me.” He then glared at the phone, until Bakura grabbed the phone and started dialing a different number. Just then four men in gray jump suits with metal backpack looking objects. “Oh, Damn,” he spoke again.

 

“Hey you're back,” Liz started.

“Be careful one of the guys that were chasing us just called me,” She panicked.

“ARE YOU SERIOUS?!”

“NO I was joking and the person who called was my Uncle!!”

“Really?”

“NO!!”

“OH GOD,” *BEEP* “That's me give me a sec,”

 

“Hello?” Liz questioned into the phone.

“Hahahaha, I've got you now!!” said a familiar voice.

“BAKURA!! You psychopath! How'd you get this number?!”

“Ha, ha, ha, Ryou looked it up in the book full of numbers!”

“The phone book great,”

“Are you done yet?” came another voice.

“Wait who's that?” Liz asked.

“Marik! What are you doing?” Bakura yelled

“Hurry up I need to use your hikari's phone to call that Tals girl again,” he spoke.

“OH, GOD STALKERS!!!” Liz hung up them.

 

All over the house Ryou was looking for his cell phone. He could he left it on the charger but he could have been mistaken. Looking outside the window he thought that maybe his Yami took it again which wasn't unusual. He sighed and turned on the T.V. and relaxed when the phone rang.

 

“Hey you came back,” Tals spoke.

“Help! Get me outta here!” Liz pleaded.

“What happened?”

“The guy that called you is with Bakura and they called me! I'm scared!”

“K, I'm coming,” Tals hung up, grabbed her truck key, the golden and ran down the stairs. She hopped in the truck and headed for the distressed girl's home.

 

Soon Tals was outside of Liz's apartment. She honked the horn and Liz came running outside with the scales in hand. As Liz got closer she saw two boys right behind her. On closer inspection it was two of the boys that chased them in the museum. In a hurry she opened the door for her to get in. Liz literally jumped in the truck and shut the door as they speed off.

 

“Get back here you bastards!!” Bakura yelled. The Truck then came to a screeching stop. They saw the truck then started to back up and fast. It came back so fast it -THUD- hit them because they stood in one spot. They got up and walked to the passenger side door. Liz swung open the door so hard and fast it struck Marik and knocked him unconscious.

“Get it right we're girls!” the girls cried.

“So?”

“It'd be bitches,”

“Oh yeah, thanks,”

“You're welcome,” Liz then shut the door on her jacket, “No, God Damn!”

Bakura then grabbed her jacket. Tals then reached under her seat and grabbed her gun. She pointed at the window and fired. The glass shattered and Bakura let go of the jacket. The truck then sped off once more. “What the fuck was that?” Bakura gaped.

Take 12: Riinnnngggggg!! Brriiiiinnnnngggggg!!

Tals- *fell off the couch startled, grumbling she picked up the phone* Hello?

Telemarketer- Hello would you be interested in a new product?

Tals- Wait I know that voice anywhere! *ponders for a moment* Neko!!

Neko- Hey Tals how are you?

Tals- Good! But I got one question.

Neko- What?

Tals- How'd you get this number?

Neko- It's in the phonebook.

Tals- Really, that's weird.

Neko- Why?

Tals- This number is a set number.

Neko- Shit talk to you later, bye. *hangs up*

Tals- bye *blinks, hangs up* that was weird

 

Take 21: *Bakura and Marik were coming down. They decided it would be a lot faster if they jumped down the side of the building, in between the two. Bakura jumped successfully between the two. Marik made an attempt and fell strait to the ground.-THUD- was all that was before an ambulance siren was sounded.* Bakura- Dumb ass.

Marik- Shut up!

Director- I think we should stop for awhile.

 

Take 24: *Bakura and Marik were coming down. They decided it would be a lot faster if they jumped down the side of the building, in between the two. Bakura jumped successfully between the two, until he landed in a dumpster* Bakura- Damn it!

Director- I think we should take this part out of the script.

Bakura- No you think!!

*Bakura walked to the trailer and the same lone camera man that cut the rope in take 34 started to laugh*

 

Take 35: *All over the house Ryou was looking for his cell phone. He could he left it on the charger but he could have been mistaken. Looking outside the window he saw snow.-Ryou face faulted- *walking out side it stopped.*

Ryou- Bloody hell it was snowing a minute ago. *He went back inside and looked out the window and sure enough it started to snow* Damn what wrong with the weather!! *Yet again it stopped finally he looked up and saw Mai, Joey and Tristan on the roof.* What in gods name are you doing up there?

All at once- We're torturing you because we're not in it.

Ryou- Don't blame me blame the writer!

Joey- Oh Damn!!

Mai- I told you so!

Joey- You didn't say a thing!!

Tristan- People can we stop fighting.

*Ryou walks inside and lets them fight on the roof*

 

Take 41: Liz-You're welcome *then shut the door on her jacket* No, God Damn!

Bakura then grabbed her jacket. Tals then reached under her seat and grabbed her gun. She pointed at the window and Liz's elbow went through the window. They all started to laugh.

Tals- Ha, ha I didn't even get a shot in *the gun then goes off and shoots an extra on the side he falls to the ground* Oops.

Bakura- Nice shot.

Tals- Shut up!

 

Take 53: Liz-You're welcome *then shut the door on her jacket* No, God Damn!

Bakura then grabbed her jacket. He then put his foot on the door. As he lost his balance his foot hit the door handle. The door then swung open and Liz fell out of the truck and landed on Bakura. Tals started to laugh soon Liz and Bakura started to laugh as well.*

Tals- Nice catch Bakura! Ha ha ha!!!

Bakura- Thanks but this wasn't my intention.

Liz- Can I get up now?!

Tals- Sure you want to you're on one of the heart throbs of the city.

Bakura- Why, thank you Tals.

Liz- I'm going to kill you, Stupid fox!!

Tals- Am not.
