Just so people aren't confused Urusai means annoying and Damare means shut up, at least in Japanese it doe, and that's the language I use even if you think/know I'm wrong please do not verify it for me cause odds are I wont change it so just go along with my craziness and well get along fine. Ryou awoke to his fathers voice screaming form downstairs. He couldn't make out the words it was if his hearing was impaired somewhat and his vision was blurred. He painfully pulled himself up from the floor and stumbled to the bathroom, He wasn't able to hold his balance and ended up falling down onto the hard tile floor. He bit his lip so not to yelp in pain when he made contact with the unyielding tile, and managed to crawl over to the tub turning on the shower. He didn't care about the temperature and just crawled in, not standing or more appropriately not being able to stand, he let the water rush over his body removing all the blood, sweat, and the other substances that stained his pale skin. He washed himself quickly although the movements hurt he knew he couldn't stay in long because his father knew he was awake now because of the running water, and didn't want to repeat the act of hours ago. He found himself able to stand as long as he didn't move to quickly he wouldn't faint and was thankful, as he walked into the room and put on clean clothes and looked toward the bed but his heart froze once he saw it was empty.

"Yugi?" Ryou risked although he knew where he was

He clenched his teeth as he made his way downstairs to find Yugi being held by the collar by Boshi while his own father yelled at him.

"Look at me when I talk to you!" Yaten yelled angrily slapping Yugi across the face

"Onegai tomeru!" Yugi pleaded while he struggled with his fathers grasp "Onegai shujin, I will not disobey you again." Yugi said miserably.

"Nintai dorei." Yaten spat as Yugi's father let go of him and left the living room.

Yugi sniffled a little as he wiped away a few tears and Ryou rushed to his side.

"Yugi are you okay?" He whispered softly

Yugi shook his head yes "Yeah, I'm sorry I meant to help you out when I found you unconscious…but Your father had come inside and was angry that you had wasted your energy on helping me instead of yourself." Yugi said

"I'd do it again should we have to experience something like that again." Ryou said smiling at his friend but then frowned "is that what he was yelling at you about?" Ryou asked

"N-no they were yelling at me about last night and about how I should know my place and should I do it again you will pay the price…and vice versa for you." Yugi said looking at him tears in his eyes.

"Don't worry Yugi…I'll get you out of here." Ryou said helping Yugi to his feet as they went into the kitchen.

"Are we allowed to eat?" Yugi asked cautiously

"…No, especially not after last night, we'll be lucky if we can have something to eat tomorrow." Ryou said trying to sound optimistic.

"You go without food a lot don't you." Yugi stated, "What does it cost you?" Yugi asked

"What do you mean?" Ryou asked

"To live…what price are you paying to live a life like this one?" Yugi asked voice cracking.

"It's not like a have a choice Yugi…don't you think I've tried to escape? Or haven't you noticed that my windows are concreted in and that I can't go two feet without my father noticing my every movement. I've tried to escape countless times but I have never gotten far not even suicide worked for me." Ryou said placing turning on the coffee machine.

"I cant live like this though Ryou…I can take being beaten day in and day out but not…if they rape me…" Yugi stopped not being able to finish his sentence

Ryou walked over to him and embraced him "They wont Yugi…you'll get out of here and live happily with Yami and Bakura as you should…I wont let them use you and do everything I can should they try." Ryou said this time sounding truly confident.

"But I can't just leave you here…Onegai Ryou lets escape together." Yugi said

"…I…I will try but should you have an opportunity take it without hesitation all right?" Ryou said looking him square in the eye.

"All right, deal." Yugi said as the two shook hands.

Ryou finished his chores and Yugi helped him and they went back to their room before their parents had the chance to yell at Ryou. Ryou sat upon his bed feeling a little light headed from moving around so much.

"You should rest." Yugi said sitting next to his friend

"It's Saturday right?" Ryou said turning on a dime

"Yes but you need to lie down." Yugi pressured.

"I can't father will come soon…he only sells me on weekends…" Ryou trailed off "I can't fall asleep he'll beat me if I do." Ryou said

"…Will he…" Yugi stopped

"No, with your back still bleeding he wouldn't give you to someone but once those wounds heal we've got to think fast on a way to get you out." Ryou said voice straining "Don't worry Ryou, you'll be okay for today and tomorrow." Ryou said smiling

Suddenly Ryou's father burst through the door "In my room now Ryou! You have a customer waiting." Yaten said but grabbed Ryou's arm on the way out

"You have two hours do you understand?" Yaten breathed

"Wakarimasu." Ryou quickly answered

Yugi closed his eyes saying a silent prayer as the door was shut loudly when he left.

Ryou was basically thrown into his father's room as the door was shut and looked behind him. HE suddenly felt warm arms wrap around him. At first he winced but they felt familiar, like the way Yami was holding him during that sunset. He turned cautiously to see who held him and nearly burst into tears seeing Yami as he jumped in his arms.

"…Yami? Is it really you?" Ryou asked quietly

Yami shook his head yes quickly "Daijoubu desuka?" Yami asked whispering following Ryou's example.

"I guess…gomen nasai Yami." Ryou said nearly crying at that moment "I know I should have told the truth that day in court but I had to warn Yugi somehow of my fathers intentions and I had to delay him somehow, and I…" Yami cut Ryou off

"Hush Ryou, I know and I don't blame you…its all right." Yami said gently rocking him "How is Yugi?" Yami asked

"Okay I guess…father wont do anything since he's…hurt so he'll be safe for the weekend and as long as I can convince father he isn't ready." Ryou said ashamed.

"Don't worry Ryou, me and Bakura will get you and Yugi out of this." Yami said

Ryou shook his head no "Get Yugi out…don't waste your time on me, if I was to leave here you would be convicted of kidnapping and I would be a runaway." Ryou said

"No Ryou, trust me when I say next time you are under my roof you will never leave…I swear this to you." Yami said sternly but Ryou's eyes stayed blank.

"I'm sorry for dragging you all into this." Ryou said somberly.

"What must I do to convince you this isn't your fault and I will rescue you from all this." Yami said not understanding why Ryou all the sudden was so unhappy

"You should know he's taping us right…now." Ryou said "He sells the tapes" Ryou said sitting upon the bed "He'll watch them himself as well…if you have me for two hours and do nothing, he'll never let you near this house again." Ryou said lying down

"Ryou…" Yami stopped realizing what Ryou was saying, "I cant." Yami said

"You have to, otherwise you wont be able to help Yugi or me. My father will move away to keep you from finding us again should he have to…Yugi doesn't have that kind of time Yami…it's…it's all right." Ryou said forcing a smile.

"He already knows what's going on though Ryou, if he's taping it already." Yami said moving closer to him

"No he doesn't, there's no audio on the tape recorder because people don't want to hear me cry when they buy it…he adds his own sound…he'll never know…onegai Yami I don't want Yugi to be hurt anymore." Ryou said begging.
