Yuri: Hey Guys!

Seto: Hey

Jou: Hey

Yuri: So you guys ready for the next chapter?

Jou: You betcha!

Seto: Yup.

Yuri: Well here you go! Enjoy!

 

…Tour of a Lifetime…

 

“Yami!” Yugi said happily.

 

Yami walked over to where Jou and Yugi currently sat and ruffled Yugi's hair.

 

“You gave me quite a scare, little one” Yami said quietly.

 

“I already went over it” Jou smiled.

 

Yami nodded his head at Jou and then turned back to meet Yugi's gaze. Something in Yugi's mind triggered as he looked at Jou and said “O right! I forgot to introduce you guys. Jou this is—“

 

“I know” Jou said.

 

Yugi looked puzzled before Jou continued. “Since last night, we've had a lot of time to talk. He told me that you and him have been meeting the last two nights.”

 

Yugi looked down. “I'm sorry Jou. I know I promised but—“

 

Jou held his hand up. “Don't worry about it.”

 

Yugi just smiled. Jou was always so understanding and he truly had a heart of gold when it came to his friends. O wait! His friends! Yugi looked up to Jou and said “Jou where are Ryou and Malik?”

 

Jou pointed out the window towards the sea. “They're covering for us until we can get this whole mess fixed.”

 

Even though Yugi didn't like how Jou referred to his wish as being a `mess', he nodded. He then redirected his gaze to Yami who hadn't talked that much since he arrived.

 

“Well I should be going. I have a lot of stuff to take care off.”

 

With that, Jou walked up and left. Yugi didn't notice till then Jou's attire. He was wearing blue ripped jeans and a green shirt. Yugi then looked down at what he was wearing. He currently had on a loose white shirt with a sleeve hanging off of one of his shoulders. He also had on white shorts and small white socks. He looked up to Yami and smiled. Yami was wearing blue jeans as well but had a sleeveless black shirt on.

 

“Do you need some help getting up?” Yami asked.

 

Yugi nodded as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and tried to stand up but failed. He fell forward and braced for impact but it never came. He opened one eye and realized that he was in Yami's arms.

 

“Thank you Yami” Yugi said gratefully.

 

“Of course Yugi” Yami said.

 

It only took Yugi a couple of minute before he got used to standing on his legs. That being accomplished, him and Yami walked over to the massive window and peered outside. It was a beautiful sunny day and suddenly Yugi felt an overwhelming sense of sadness overcome him. Yami took notice of this.

 

“Is something wrong Yugi?” Yami asked.

 

“No,” Yugi said, “I'm just not used to being so far from the water.”

 

Yami nodded and then thought of an idea. He took hold of Yugi's hand and said “Come. I want to give you a tour of your new home.”

 

Yugi smiled genuinely. “My new home?”

 

Yami nodded as he pulled Yugi towards the door. When the walked out of the room Yugi was dumbstruck by how expensive and extravagant everything looked. Along the hallway that they walked down, there were pillars and tables that held vases of flowers and shiny objects. When they got to the end of the hallway, Yami opened the door in front of them and they now seemed to be in the dining hall, which was massive. There was a huge chandelier that graced the ceiling and a huge brown wooden table that stretched out across the whole room. The chairs, to say the least, had long backs and were very high off the ground. It looked like a place where a business meeting would take place. At the head of the table, there sat a very lean figure who sipped at his coffee coolly. He looked up at the two new arrivals, his icy blue eyes meeting both crimson and amethyst. Yami pulled Yugi closer to the man and then stopped when they were a few feet in front of him.

 

“Seto,” Yami said, “This is Yugi.”

 

Seto nodded at the small boy and said coldly, “Welcome. I hope your time spent here is enjoyable. Now if you please excuse me, I have a time schedule to make out for the day's activities.”

 

With that Seto stood up and left. Yugi turned to Yami.

 

“I don't like him very much” Yugi said.

 

Yami laughed at Yugi's frankness. “Don't worry. To tell you the truth, I don't like him very much either,” Yami said as he gave Yugi a wink. “No. I'm just kidding. But you'll get use to dear Seto. I would know for we're cousins.”

Yugi quickly apologized for insulting Yami's family member but he was stopped by Yami's finger to his lips. “Don't worry. I've said worse things.” Yugi giggled at this as Yami continued his tour.

 

Meanwhile, Jou was peering into a linen closet and took out what these humans called a `broom'. As he examined it closely a loud voice interrupted him.

 

“It's a broom. People use these things to sweep up dirt into dustpans and then discard the dirt into the garbage.” Seto said in an annoyed fashion.

 

Jou snapped around and glared, “I know what the hell it is Kaiba! I don't need your help!”

 

Seto smiled. “That's Master Kaiba to you, Mutt.”

 

Jou's eyes narrowed more as he tightened his grip on the broom and stomped away. This was the third time today that Kaiba had insulted him.

 

“Of course Master Kaiba! Maybe later I'll use this broom to break your face in and then we'll see if you have anything else smart to say” Jou said in a distasteful tone and slammed the door shut.

 

Seto just rolled his eyes and continued on his way to his room. On the other side of the mansion, Yami was just showing Yugi the kitchen when Jou walked in angrily. Yugi sensed that there was something wrong with his friend immediately.

 

 

“What's wrong Jou?” Yugi asked.

 

“It's that dam smug son-of-a-bitch! Walking around like the whole fuckin' world revolves around him! I oughta punch him right in the face and rid the world of that condescending smile of his!” Jou shouted.

 

Yugi turned a questioning glance towards Yami ad Jou continued on his rampage. Yami just smiled.

 

“Seto” Yami whispered. Yugi shaped his lips as if he was saying `O'.

 

“Wait Jou” Yugi said stopping his friend's shouting. “How do you know Seto?” he asked.

 

“O, you mean Master Fucking Piece of Shit!” Jou yelled.

 

“Um, I think so” Yugi said.

 

“Well last night when Yami brought you and me inside…” Jou began.

 

…FLASHBACK…

 

Yami burst in through the two large front doors and called out “I need some help!”

 

Immediately two women came running out of a room and took the bundle that laid unconsciously in Yami's arm. “This is Yugi. Dress him and tend to any injuries he may have. Call me when he's settled in a room” Yami said. “Yes Master Yami” the two women said before exiting the room with Yugi leaving Jou and Yami to themselves.

 

“Master Yami?” Jou asked.

 

“My uncle owned this island before he past away. Now my cousin owns it. Therefore all the servants and maids that live here must address me, my cousin, and anyone else we bring as guests by master.”

 

Jou nodded and Yami took out his hand. Jou just looked at it strangely, which caused Yami to laugh.

 

“I'm sorry. I never formally introduced myself. My name is Yami.”

 

Jou understood what Yami was trying to do now and reached out his hand and shook it with Yami's.

“My name is Jounouchi. But you can just call me Jou. I'm Yugi's best friend.”

 

Yami just nodded. “Well Jou, let me take you to a room so that we can get some proper clothes on you ok?”

 

Jou looked down at his attire, which consisted of a shabby cloth similar to Yugi's that was wrapped around his waist, and smiled sheepishly.

 

“Thanks” Jou said.

 

The two proceeded down the hall to an empty room as Jou took in the beauty of the enormous place. When they had gotten into the room, Yami passed Jou some blue pajamas to wear, which Jou was very grateful for. After he was dressed a maid came in.

 

“Master Yugi has been taken care of. He's currently resting in the red room on the east side” the maid said. Yami nodded and the maid bowed and then left.

 

Yami turned to Jou and said, “This is where you can stay until we figure out what to do. Have a good night.”

 

With that Yami turned to leave before Jou stopped him.

 

“Wait. Are you going to see Yugi?” Jou asked.

 

Yami nodded. “Well can I go see him with you? I just want to make sure he's ok,” Jou said.

 

“Of course” Yami smiled.

 

Yami and Jou then exited the room and walked down a couple of halls until they reached a large door. Yami opened it quietly before peeking in and seeing Yugi resting peacefully. They both walked in and Jou looked at Yugi and sighed. Yugi looked perfectly happy. Jou then yawned and turned to Yami.

 

“I think I'm gonna go to bed. And thanks for taking us in” Jou said. Yami just smiled and sat on the edge of Yugi's bed.

 

“Goodnight Jou” Yami said without turning around.

“Night Yami” Jou said as he opened the door to leave. He turned around for just a second and saw Yami gently caressing Yugi's cheeks with his fingers. Jou smiled at the way Yami touched Yugi so lovingly and then walked out. He looked down the several halls and sighed. He had no idea how to get back to his room and was about to go back in to Yugi's room to ask Yami for directions when a voice interrupted his thoughts.

 

“Who the hell are you?”

 

Jou looked up at the man who was addressing him. When his honey brown eyes met icy blue, he realized that it was the same man who he saw a few days ago. It was the man that he had thought to be so beautiful but right now, Jou didn't like the man's tone.

 

“Jou” he said.

 

“Well isn't that nice. Now why are you in my home would be the better question?”

 

Jou opened his mouth to speak but at that moment Yami appeared.

 

“Jou is a friend of mine. He and Yugi will be staying with us for a while” Yami said.

 

Seto sighed. “Yami, this is not a good time to have visitors. We're low on staff so I don't think that this is going to work. They're going to have to find somewhere else to—“

 

“What if I work?” Jou asked. Yami and Seto turned their attention to the blonde.

 

“What?” Yami said.

 

“You said you were low on staff. What if I help out? Will you let Yugi stay?”

 

Yami was very touched my Jou's dedication to Yugi but Seto on the other hand didn't care so much.

 

“Fine whatever. But only if you work” Seto said. “While you and your friend stay here, you'll be a housekeeper and tend to all the daily chores that I assign to you. You address everyone who is not a servant or maid by Master. Understand?”

Jou just nodded. He absolutely despised the person standing in front of him right now but he had to do this or else Yugi and him would have no where to go as they got this whole mess straightened out.

 

“Good” Seto said. “You will address me by Master Kaiba. Now go off to your room. You'll need to wake up bright and early tomorrow to do your house chores.”

 

After saying this, Seto walked away. Yami turned to Jou.

 

“I'm sorry Jou. My cousin can be an ass sometimes. Well, most of the time” Yami said.

 

“It's ok Yami. It's not your fault. You have been very good to both me and Yugi.”

 

Yami smiled and then showed Jou to his room. Before he walked out, he turned to Jou.

 

“O and Jou?” Yami said.

 

“Ya?” Jou said.

 

“Don't call me Master Yami. Ok?”

 

Jou laughed. “You betcha!”

 

With that, Yami left leaving Jou by himself in his new room.

 

…END OF FLASHBACK…

 

“O” was all Yugi said.

 

“Ya” Jou said. “So now I have to work for that stuck up prick.”

 

Yugi frowned. It upset him that Jou had to work so that they could stay here and he didn't.

 

“But” Jou continued seeing the sad expression on Yugi's face, “It's worth it.”

 

Yugi smiled before embracing Jou. “Thanks Jou” he said.

 

Jou just smiled and patted Yugi on the head. “Well I gotta get back to work before Master Idiot comes back.”

 

Yugi snickered and went back to take Yami's hand. “Can you show me more?” Yugi asked.

 

Yami smiled. “Let's go!” he said.
