Mokuba looked as if he was a teenager again, sleeping in a hospital bed. Bakura stood by his side stroking the younger man's cheek with the back of his fingers. “Mokuba, I wanted you to know…that I…we…need you. We all love you.” He pulled his hand away as he turned to leave, but was suddenly halted by a tight grip on the same hand. Bakura weakly smiled, his tears gliding down his dark skin.

“Bakura? Don't leave just yet,” Mokuba commanded softly and released the other's hand.

“You had us all worried, you know? You…stupid…kid,” Bakura sneered, keeping his back toward Mokuba.

Mokuba smiled. “Did I really have all of you worried?”

“Are you kidding me, Mokuba? Seto was about to bring his pistol to the hospital.” Bakura finally faced the raven-haired man. “Why do you do things like this?”

“What do you mean?” Mokuba blinked.

Bakura frowned. He grabbed a chair near the bed and sat down. “Why do you always get severely injured and never tell anyone until the last minute? Do you really want to die?”

“…” Mokuba narrowed his eyes at the x-bandit and then sighed. “I'm stubborn…I guess. I always push myself to see if I can make it!”

A soft growled erupted from the older man's throat. “Is that what the Celtic Guardian taught you?”

Mokuba didn't reply. He closed his eyes and turned his head away from Bakura.

“You're really pathetic, Mokuba! You're not like the Celtic Guardian, don't you understand? You're a human! Humans can only go so long without killing over from a serious wound. I wish that blasted elf had told you that, but I guess he was just being selfish!” Bakura exclaimed.

Mokuba clinched his fists into the sheets. “Stop it, Bakura! The Celtic Guardian told me the same thing you did! He wasn't as stupid as you think he was. I just wanted to try and see if I could…okay?” His voice broke as he started to sob. “I…just….wanted to…see.”

It stung like a million drone bees drilling their stingers into Bakura's skin. He relaxed back against his seat and grabbed Mokuba's fisted hand. “I'm sorry! Every since you took the Celtic Guardian's opening as a slayer…I thought you were making a mistake.”

“I already knew what you thought, Bakura. You just don't get how important it is to me, to be someone.” His body trembled involuntarily. “It makes me happy to see those children smiling and wishing they could be me.”

Bakura swallowed harshly. “You're getting too old for this job. Maybe…it's time for someone else to take your place.”

Mokuba gasped. He wasn't exactly expecting the response. “Are you serious? I'm not too old! There are super heroes who are older than me!”

“Yes, but those super heroes aren't real,” Bakura whispered and then he smirked. “You still act like a kid.”

“Isn't that what you wanted?” Mokuba stared at the white haired man seriously.

Bakura looked up in uncertainty. “What?”

“When I was younger, you use to tell me to never lose my imagination,” Mokuba replied. “It was `the best part of me,' you'd always say.”

The room fell silent, too silent. Bakura broke it with a deep sigh. “You're absolutely right, Mokuba.” He stood up from his seat and reached out to lift Mokuba's chin. “I guess I should also tell you that I loved you then, and I still do.” He leaned down and brushed his lips across the surprised, younger man's. “Do what you want, Mokuba, except die on me.”

Mokuba's eyes burned from the salty moisture settling there. “B-Bakura…” He wrapped his arms around the x-bandit's waists and hugged him tightly.

Bakura ran his fingers through the thick, black locks and stroked the falling tears away from the marred skin. He broke away from the slayer and lifted Mokuba's face again to leave a lingering kiss against his lips. He pressed his tongue against the soft flesh and was happily received entrance. It didn't take him long to dominate the other's mouth, exploring the new crevices that he dreamt of for years.

A cough interrupted the couple.

Bakura turned toward the visitor or visitors and smirked. “Uh…Seto…Joey”

“Working on deflowering my little brother, Bakura?” Seto asked with amusement.

The x-bandit smirked. “Trying to.”

Both men exchanged dangerous glances and then broke the contact as Mokuba grabbed both of his brother's wrists and brought him down for a hug. “Hey, big brother! I've missed you!”

Seto smiled warmly and returned the hug. “Yes, it has been a while.”

Seto straightened himself and looked at Bakura again. “I trust you won't force him into anything that he doesn't want to do?” He then grabbed the x-bandit's shirt collar unexpectedly, pulling him close until their noses almost touched. “I'm leaving you to protect him. If anything happens to him, I'm leaving you responsible.”

Mokuba blushed deeply.

Bakura grinned and breathed hotly against Seto's lips. “I'll protect him.”

No one noticed Joey's envious glare and pout.

Seto released Bakura's shirt and approached his lover in the doorway. He noted the aggravated red tent across Joey's cheeks and smirked. He leaned down and pressed his lips against the teen's neck, sucking lightly.

Joey gasped, realizing that his vision blurred quickly and found himself holding onto Seto's shoulders for balance. “Hn…Seto…”

The CEO smirked as he gripped Joey's waist to help him out of the hospital, along with Destin and Aurora.

Bakura and Mokuba laughed.

---

Jeto blushed as he thanked Tet for walking him home. “Well…this is my stop.”

“I guess it is,” Tet replied. “I guess I'll see you around.” He was about to walk away when Jeto stopped him.

“Um…maybe…I can let you come in and have some…tea?” Jeto began to feel very foolish, including when his blush was deepening. /Gawd, how pathetic did that sound? /

Tet chuckled. “I'd love to, but I really need to get going. I'm still on duty.”

Jeto nodded. “Oh, yeah. Of course.” He sighed with relief. It still felt somewhat strange to have Tet around, but at the same time, it felt comforting.

“Maybe I'll come over during my lunch break tomorrow,” Tet suggested.

Jeto perked, feeling his blush returning. He nodded tensely. “Yes, it'd be nice for my family to meet you.” He turned away to walk into the house.

Tet waited until Jeto closed the door and started walking again. “I don't know if I have the courage to tell him that he's my half-brother.” He chuckled uneasily. “Not only that, but I have a crush on him. How sad is that?” He asked himself. “Well, it's not like he has to know, does he? Of course, there's always the trouble of my father, Seto. He'll be bound to tell him one of these days.” He never noticed the black limousine pulling up into the Kaiba manor driveway with the Kaiba family within.

The first one out was Destin and then followed by his eldest brother. Destin and Aurora both saw the stranger walking down the sidewalk.

It was Aurora first who noticed how similar the stranger looked to himself from behind. “Who is that guy? I've never seen him around here before.”

Destin shrugged. “Who knows? Maybe he just moved here.”

Seto stepped up behind Destin and laid his hand on top of the blonde mop. “Who son?”

Destin was about to reply when Aurora cut in. “Nothing.”

Seto and Destin blinked at the sudden response.

The eldest teen turned away and approached the house.

“I wonder if Jeto is home yet,” Joey said as he got out of the limo. “I've missed him all day.”

Seto nodded. “Yes, its very peculiar that he hasn't been here all day. He usually comes home for lunch at noon and then leaves again.” He looked at his watch. “It's 8:00 p.m. He should be home by now.”

Joey nodded and walked into the house with Destin and Seto right behind him.

As they stepped into the house, they immediately noticed Jeto walking into the living room with a cracker hanging out of his mouth.

“Jeto!” Seto called.

Jeto stepped back to see his family approaching him, except for Aurora. He saw his older brother earlier running to his bedroom without a hello or a wave. “Yeah?”

“Where have you been?” Seto asked, stopping a few feet away from his soon.

“I was at the park, hanging out with my new friend,” he replied simply. “I'm sorry I didn't come in at lunch.”

Seto shook his head. “As long as I know you're alright.” He patted his son on the head, receiving a soft purr. “So, you have a new friend?” He walked pass Jeto into the main room and sitting on the sofa.

Jeto didn't reply at first because of Joey petting and hugging him. “Yeah, his name is Tet. He said he might come over for lunch tomorrow.”

Joey didn't notice the name; he wasn't even paying attention to the conversation.

However, Seto did notice and slightly winced. “Is that so?” /I hope it's just a coincidence. / He thought apprehensively. He peered over his shoulder to see Joey holding Destin in his left arm and hugging Jeto with his other. The tips of his lips curled into a smile. “You really like being a father, don't you, Joey?”

Joey smirked at Seto's question. “Well, yeah! I never thought I'd have such great kids!” He twirled Destin around in his arms as if dancing with him. Jeto watched with amusement and laughed.

Destin giggled as he hugged Joey's neck.

Seto sighed in contempt and turned back to the front. “I can only hope that it's not my Tet,” he murmured.

Sisco: I just thought about something. What if I brought Pegasus into the story?

Seto: Oo;;;;; You're kidding, right?

Sisco: No, why would be kidding? I like Pegasus!

Seto: You only like him because of what he said at the beginning of the movie.

Sisco: -giggles- I love that part, but no.

Seto: What else is there?

Sisco: For one, I've always liked him.

Pegasus: Is it the fact I could have done so many things with Seto's soulless body?

Seto: …

Pegasus: And that Duke is my biggest fan?

Sisco: -stifles a giggle- Perhaps!
