Mirage: Well this is chapter two in my “Heavenly Injustice” story. I think it's going pretty well so far. As always feel free to leave me comments about what you think. After all every writers likes to hear their story is actually like. As always, thank you.
I would like to express a thank you to Lo for the comment and I admit that I did rush with chapter one. I wanted to get it done before I went to bed. ^^; Sorry about that. I hope that this chapter is more to yours and everyone's liking.
I also figured out that I couldn't write Jounouchi the way I wanted to with his whole Brooklyn accent (English version I'm going by) so I will be typing normal grammar for him.
Disclaimer: I do not own Yugioh or the characters. All credit goes to Kazuki Takahashi.
Warnings: Yaoi relationships meaning M/M relationships. If you find this offensive or wrong please don't read. There will be lemons in later chapters. The pairings are yami/hikari as well as S/J.

~~~Chapter 2~~~
“Hey gramps! Where do you what this box to go?” asked the blonde member of the working force.
“Oh that can go in the back, Jou. We won't be putting those on the shelves until summer starts.” The elderly Muto said, before he turned back to his own stocking of Duel Monster Booster Cards on the shelves.
“By the way, when is the pizza going to get here? I'm starving!” the blonde complained as he carried his box down to the basement storage.
“Don't worry Jou. It should be here soon,” Anzu said as she carried another empty box over to a pile of other boxes whose items are all ready on the shelves.
“Yeah…But I don't think that I can last much longer. We've been doing this for hours.” Jou whined when he returned. His stomach agreed as it growled hungrily.
Honda too began to join in Jou parade of hunger. “I know what you mean bud. Can we take a break again? Maybe find some snack.”
Yugi shook his head as he climbed down from the latter he was one, carrying an empty box for Anzu took take apart. They just had to pretty much clean up now and the pizza should be here any minute. And by the looks on Honda and Jonouchi's face it wasn't all to soon for when the bell of the shops door rang, the delivery boy standing there with three pizzas. All their head turned to look at the delivery boy and gawked at who it was.
“Hey, as much as I love being stared at I have other deliveries to make.” Malik said with a grin.
Malik Ishtar was a new student and resident to Domino for almost three month now, and was originally from Cairo, Egypt. The darkly tanned Egyptian sure did turn heads when he first came and still does. He had exotic lavender eyes, platinum blonde hair that fell to his shoulders, and wore an assortment of golden jewelry consisting of a golden collar, earrings, and armbands around his upper arms.
Malik in his short time here already had a hoard of admirers and was actually voted the sexiest person in Domino High by the student council, mainly do to his exotic looks and the way he looked desirable in pretty much anything. Even now in jeans, tennis shoes, a read jacket with a cartoon of an Italian chef complete with a thick mustache and white hat over a white t-shirt, toped off with a red cap with the same cartoon chef Yugi would be sure that the teen would make many swoon after him.
“I didn't know that you delivered pizza, Malik.” Sugoroku said as he traded money for the pizzas, money he had gotten while the others were staring.
Malik rubbed the back of his head and gave a laugh, “Yeah well my sister said that she was tired of seeing me loatering around the house, so she made me go get a job. Anyway here I am.”
“A delivery boy?” Anzu asked.
Malik frowned. “I prefer product distubition personell.”
“So where were you and Ryou today?” Yugi asked.
Ryou was another student from a different country, England. He was the opposite of Malik. Practically an albino with his pale complection and long white hair. His eyes though were a dark chocolate color and full of warmth. He was also very timid but very kind and polite. They really evened eachother out which what probually made Ryou and Malik such good friends.
“Oh that? We were just helping my sister put out a new Egyptian exibit. I guess she bought some items that were for sale. She actually got them at a pretty cheap price. She said the people really didn't know the value of their artifacts.” Malik explain.
“That explains you but why was Ryou there. I never know that guy to miss school for anything.” Jou commented.
“Didn't you know. Ryou got a job at the Musuem as a tour guide. My sister just wanted to get him aquanted with the new exibit. You guys should come by to see it. It's pretty amazing.” Malik said with a smile.
“We'll have to do that Malik.” Yugi's grandpa said.
“So…Do you guys want to see her?” Malik asked as he raised his eyebrowls.
“She who?” Honda asked.
“My very own car. I got it with the job. Come on.” Malik gestered. “I'll show you.”
Malik lead the his friends outside to take a look at his `very own car'.
“Well. Isn't she a beauty.”
The group tried to stifle their laughter as they looked upon Malik's'beauty'. It was a small, old, beat up, stationwagon with every one of it's doors were a different color, a back tail light was broken, and the pant job was rusted and chipping. It looked as if it would fall right apart. And the thing to top it off was the sign of the pizza place Malik worked for, the chef having blacked out teeth.
“Yes. *snicker* It's a real beauty.” Honda said.
“Yes. A really *snicker* beauty.” Jou said before the group gave into their laughter.
Malik growled. “Lay off old Betsy.” This only caused more laughter to come. “Fine! I see how you guys are.” Malik said as he went and opened the drivers door, getting ready to leave.
“Malik. Wait. We're sorry.” Yugi laughed.
“Yes. Please don't go away mad.” Anzu managed before she laughed again.
Malik glared at his so called friends. “You'll regret your laughter. Betsy here may not look like much but she is reliable. You see.”
With that said the angry Egyptian got in Betsy and started her up, well tried to start her up.
“Come on old girl.” Malik whispered and finally the engine purred. “Ah. There we go.” Once he got her going Malik left his friend behind.
Yugi wiped a tears from his eyes, “Come on guys. Lets go eat.”
Jou and Honda both immediately sobered up and cry out in unision, “Pizza!” before running back into the shop to eat. Yugi and Anzu following after them.
After Malik had left things were pretty normal. There were lots of laughs during supper, which caused Jou and Honda to choke, which caused more laughter. Once they finished and cleaned up the group went into Yugi's bedroom where they were currently discussing what their plans were for the summer. Anzu was going to go to America to New York for an advance dance camp that she had applied for and won admission to. Honda had found a job as a mechanic there in Domino, and Jou had his sister coming to stay with him in a few weeks.
“What about you Yugi.” Anzu asked her spiky haired friend.
“Oh I am just going to be watching the shop when my grandpa goes to another dig site. Rest of the time I'll just help him out around here.”
“Boring!” Honda and Jou said.
“Yeah Yugi.” The brunette girl said as she pushed her small friend playfully. “Surely you have something else planned to do.”
Yugi grinned as something came to mind. “Well I was hoping to have this done before summer came.”
Jou looked at his friend curiously. “What are you talking about Yug'?”
Yugi stood up and went to his desk, and when he came back he was carrying two items. Once was something wrapped in a white cloth and the other was a small golden box. Sitting down he let his friend scoot in closer as he carefully unwrapped his treasure. It looked to be the starts of a pyramid like puzzle. Opening the golden box next, with the already finished portion of the puzzle in his lap, Yugi took out a piece.
“Isn't this the puzzle your grandpa gave you for your birthday nine years ago?” Anzu asked. She remembers when Yugi's grandpa had given it to him. Yugi was so excited and had spent the rest week trying to put it together. By the looks of the finished portion Yugi was almost done. She watched as Yugi looked at the piece he had in his hand before picking the finished portion up and placing the piece into its place.
“Yeah. It's a very complex puzzle. But I'm close to cracking it,” Yugi said like an excited child. “I can't wait until I do.”
“Why? It's just a puzzle isn't it?” Honda asked as Yugi picked up another piece.
“Yes…Well no. There's a legend that says that if someone finishes the puzzle they receive unlimited power.” Yugi said as he tried to find the next piece in but it wouldn't fit, so he a different piece.
“Wow. So you want this unlimited power, Yugi?” Jou asked.
“What? Oh no. I don't want power. It's just that this puzzle hasn't been complete for thousands of years. And I am so close to doing just that.” Yugi said as the next piece he had chosen fit in place.
Jou nodded. “You could go in the record book, Yug'. Imagine that. My best bud finishing an ancient puzzle never completed by any of those who have tried.”
“You might even get some money as an award.” Honda theorized.
“Yeah. Then you could buy a new car, a bigger place for you and your grandpa. Hey maybe you could end up being richer then that jerk, Kaiba.” Jou fantasized. Oh how he would like to see that bastard on his knees, begging to be one of his friends because he was the friend of Yugi, The Puzzle Master!
“Jou? Jou?” Yugi asked and waved a hand in front of the blonde to awaken him from his fantasy.
“Huh? What?”
“I don't think that there is a money prize for figuring out an ancient puzzle. Besides if there was I don't think it would make me richer that Seto Kaiba.” Yugi explained.
“Ha. You're probably right Yugi. But it was nice to fantasies about Kaiba on his knees.”
Everyone looked at the blonde weirdly before shrugging off his comment.
“Well I don't know about you guys but I have to go home before it gets to late.” Anzu said as she stood up and stretched. “I'll see you guys at school tomorrow.”
Honda and Jou got up as well. “Yeah we should be going to. It was fun Yugi. You should invite us over again real soon.” Honda said as Jou agreed with him.
“Yeah. It was great bud. We'll see you later.”
Yugi got up and walked everyone down the stairs and to the door. “You guys are invited anytime. I know that grandpa loves the company.”
“We'll see you later than Yugi.” Anzu said before she started on her walk home.
“Yeah see you later bud.” Jou said as he rustled Yugi's hair causing the smaller to laugh and hit his hand away.
“Bye Yugi.” Honda said as he and Jou headed the opposite way Anzu had.
Yugi waved when the two teens turned to look at him and wave. He giggled as the two started to argue over something he couldn't hear. He had really good friends he thought as he shut the door and headed up stairs to try to put a few more pieces of his puzzle together.
He felt the warmth again. It always seemed to come more often now and warm his body and heart. He often wondered what it was. Perhaps it was freedom. Was there such from this prison of darkness. He didn't know. He didn't know anything at all. His head hurt so much as if something was eating away at his mind. But he heard a voice of someone calling him from somewhere deep in his memory.
He also knew that he felt hate. Hate for someone who he wanted to kill. Who, he didn't know. For what, he didn't know either. But right now that didn't really matter. He just let himself be enveloped in the warm in his dark, cold, lonely prison.
