I Never Knew

Nothing, Yami saw nothing when he opened his door, 'Weird' Yami thought when just then he was tackled to the ground "What the-!?" Yami blinked as he hit the stone flood hard.

"Oh Yami," A very terrified Yugi managed to say in a very shaky voice, "I saw the most scariest thing ever!" Yugi had Yami in a death grip.

"Need…air…must…breathe." Yami choked out, as he struggling to get out of his aibou's death grip, for as small as Yugi was, he had a deadly grip.

"Oh, sorry Yami." Yugi blushed as he let go of his darkness who was now gasping for air.

"What did you see?" Yami asked after he could finally breathe again.

"Well, grandpa left to get something out of the shop, and she appeared in front of me, she had black hair with white…" Yugi described the same woman Yami had saw earlier that day.

"Did she say anything to you?" Yami asked now very happy with the fact he could breathe easily again.

"No, why?" The small teen answered, while looking at his Yami like he was from another planet, Yami was still recovering from Yugi's death grip, Yugi accidentally opened their mental link \\ Yami has completely lost whatever sanity he had left \\

// Hey!! I heard that…you little… // Yami said as he started to chase Yugi around his soul room, but after about 15 minutes Yugi was declared the winner, as he sat on the ancient Pharaoh's stomach laughing at the Pharaoh's pathetic attempts to get up, // Will you get off of me! // Yami yelled through the mental link.

"Nah… this is comfy I don't think I'll ever get up." Yugi smiled as Yami raised an eyebrow to this statement.

"What time is it?" Yami asked hoping that Yugi would drop his guard just for a minute, but to Yami's dismay Yugi just took a quick glance at his watch, a very quick glance that didn't even give Yami time to do anything.

"It's quarter to nine, why do you wanna know the time?" Yugi questioned Yami, because Yami had never cared about what the time was, well until now.

"I don't want to know what time it is, I really couldn't care, I was just hoping you would drop your guard." Yami lied, he didn't like lying to his light but he really had no choice, he couldn't tell Yugi about this, he knew Yugi would never let him go.

"…yo Yami, anyone home in there?" Yugi giggled as he tapped Yami's head.

"Huh…Wha…What?" Yami jumped, "What are you doing, aibou?"

"Seeing if you were still alive, welcome back to the land of the living, Yami," Yami just stared at the small teen in complete confused look, "Where were you? La-la land? You were complete spaced out."

"No, I was not, and shouldn't you be getting ready for bed?" Yami quickly changed the subject, although Yami kinda enjoyed have little his aibou in his soul room, since his soul room was like his tomb back in Egypt, a pharaoh's tomb, and yet Yugi didn't seem to mind that fact.

"Ok! Bye Yami! Goodnight!" Yugi said as he gave Yami a goodnight kiss on the cheek, and then he left leaving Yami whose face was turning a new shade of red, and in a state of shock.

Yugi ran up the stairs to his room but went to the bathroom instead, grabbed his toothbrush and begun to brush his teeth, Yugi notice the pinkish-red colour of his face, he still couldn't believe he kissed Yami goodnight.

After Yugi was done in the bathroom he quickly got into his pyjamas and glanced out the window, millions and millions of stars shining brightly, and the full moon shone with all its glory, the summer hot air was warm, it was a perfect night, "Wow, what pretty night." Yugi whispered to himself.

"I know." Yami said as he appeared behind his aibou, "It's a perfect night to be outside, too bad you have to go to bed." With that Yami shooed Yugi into bed and tucked him in, "Goodnight aibou."

"Goodnight…Yami?" Yugi looked up at his darkness "Sorry about earlier with the kiss and all."

"That's ok aibou, just go to sleep."

Finally Yugi was a sleep Yami looked out the window and made his decision and careful open Yugi's window, Yami was use to crawling out windows he done it all the time when he was the Prince, and crawled out as quietly as possible, and ran into the park, he saw the place he was supposed to go, he ran through the woods, faster and faster as it started to rain, harder and harder every minute, soaking his hair, then he stopped, froze by what he saw, it was…
