Light in Darkness

A/N: Saa, welcome to chapter five of Light in Darkness! ^__^ I don't know how long this chapter is going to be. *sweatdrops* Ano…Please Review and gomen about how long it took to update!

Yami sat straight up, blood-red eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Send him in!"

The servant nodded and backed back out the door. He shortly came back with a male in a lilac shirt and leather maroon pants. He ran a Sun-kissed hand through his platinum-blonde hair. Merik blinked, staring at the Dark Ruler. He hadn't any idea they looked nearly identical. He cautiously took a few steps toward Yami.

"I'm a head advisor of the Light Prince. Yugi has requested you visit him at once."

Seto, Mai, and Bakura laughed. Why would Yami just get up and go to the other kingdom just because a younger teenager told him to? Their laughter was cut short, however, as Yami stood, leaving with Merik. Mai glanced at Seto and Bakura questioningly. None of them knew why their leader did the unbelievable.

Mai took a small breath. "Is it me, or is Yami…changing?"

Bakura shrugged. "Of all the hells, why the fuck would I know?!"

Seto laughed as Mai tried to kill Bakura. The brunette found it highly amusing to see the two fight. He watched the door open again, their friend Malik entering. He looked like the evil embodiment of the Light's head advisor. The only differences were his clothes and spiked platinum-blonde hair. Malik grinned maliciously at Bakura, who'd gotten away from the blonde Mai. Bakura snickered lightly and sauntered over to his 'partner in crime'; or so Yami called them. Miraculously, Yami had befriended this group, they weren't mere servants or anything of the sort. They practically helped run the kingdom. Lavender eyes met dark chocolate brown.

"Bakura, I saw Yami leave with some brat that sort of looks like me…"

Bakura snorted derisively. "Yeah, that was the Light Kingdom's Head Advisor." He turned towards Seto and Mai. "What the fuck was his name again?"

Seto rolled his eyes, as did Mai, both answering him at once. "MERIK! "

Bakura glared scathingly at the two for a moment before returning a softer gaze to his companion. "You heard them…Merik. What about him?"

Malik grinned again. "I want that one."

Bakura's lips twitched upward slightly. "And I want another one…Same with Seto…let's go get them."

Nodding, the two grabbed Mai and Seto, heading towards the Light Kingdom.

~*~*In Yugi's Chambers*~*~

Yugi sighed and paced around the room, wishing Merik would hurry up. He wanted to see Yami now. Shizuka, Ryou, Jou, and Ishizu watched their prince worriedly. What was it with the Light and Dark Rulers? Ishizu jumped as the double doors opened, her brother stepping in, slowly followed by none other than Yami himself. Yugi stopped pacing and ran over to Yami, wrapping his arms around the elder's neck. Yami let out a soft purr, and nuzzled the Light cheek.

"Miss me, aibou?"

Yugi blushed but nodded all the same. "I couldn't wait…I needed to see you."

The crimson-eyed male chuckled and brushed a blonde bang from the younger's face. He was amused to find his young lover couldn't wait either. He briefly wondered if Bakura and Seto would come back for the Light's friends.

"I'll stay with you as long as you wish."

Yugi hugged Yami tighter, happy to hear this. The two were interrupted though, as another person entered the room, making the two let go of each other. A blonde girl who looked at least five years younger than Yugi stood there. She had bright blue eyes and wore glasses, her dark pink and red dress matching her maroon shoes and white stockings.

"Yugi! Grandpa Solomon and Grandpa Arthur want to see you back at home for a few months!"

The violet-eyed teen was shocked. He would be so dead if his Grandfathers found out he was in love with another man. Let alone the fact he was now a vampire; thanks to his lover. He gulped and wondered what to do.

"Um…Rebecca? When do they want to see me?"

The blonde thought for a moment. "Tomorrow afternoon until the end of next month."

Yugi shook his head. "I need to stay with my friends and run the Light Kingdom!"
Ryou smiled and stepped up to his friend. "Yugi, if you'd like, me and Jou could run it while your gone with the others?"

The tri-colored-haired teen hesitated. "Are you sure you all are okay with it though?"

The group nodded, showing he they would. Then Yugi looked up at the crimson-eyed vampire he loved so dearly.

"Yami? Will you come home with me?"

The Dark Leader was surprised at the request. "Y-you want me to come with you?"

Yugi nodded, his violet eyes sparkling with hope. "Yup."
Yami tapped his chin lightly. "Hmm…only if I can get Seto to take over for a little while…"

"Of course Yami." The Dark King nearly had a heart attack, his eyes finally landing on his comrades.

Bakura smirked and nodded, Mai shrugging, the others just going along with it. Yami watched then as Seto inched behind the sandy-blonde-haired teen known as Jonouchi, wrapping his arms around the teenager's waist. The vampire laughed, though, as Jou let out a small squeak of shock. Bakura and Malik did the same to Merik and Ryou. Ryou turned bright red as Merik turned around and started fist-fighting with Malik. Yugi watched the Advisor of the Light Kingdom pummel who seemed to be his darker half. The teenager shook his head momentarily, then turned back to Yami.

"So you'll come with me, Yami?"

The Dark Ruler nodded. "Of course, my aibou."

Yugi smiled happily as the elder hugged him tightly, assuring him he'd be with him throughout the entire month. Yugi leaned back onto the others chest and watched his cousin, noting her slight amazement and shock.

"Y-Yugi…are you…gay?"

The teen laughed and buried his face in his lover's chest, then looked back at her. "Rebecca, what do you think?"

Yami smirked, deciding to add his own bit. "None of us prefer to be called gay. I presume we're all really bisexual."

Rebecca choked and walked out of her cousin's bedroom chambers, yelling how she'd never touch anything in one of Yugi's bedrooms. Yugi sighed suddenly, giving his koibito a small hug and began to pack. He was going to get in a lot of trouble if his family found out his and Yami's little vampire secret…

A/N: How was that? I still feel bad about making you guys wait so long. =( IO wish I could do something…my Writers' Block just keeps getting worse and worse!
