Ishizu had been waiting for 2 hours when the drive to take action came. She was afraid. Afraid that Seto might get himself killed. Ishizu didn't want to be like a mother to Seto, but if it had to be this way, so be it. Ishizu understood why Seto was like this. She knew that Seto had lost his parents at a very young age. He probably thought she was trying to take his mother's place. But that wasn't what she wanted it to be like. She wanted to befriend Seto, to get to know him. But, after tonight, she figured it was impossible.

She went to get up when she heard the front door open. "Is that Seto?" she thought as she sat back down on the sofa. "I hope so. I don't want to hear his death on the television." Ishizu watched as Seto entered the living room, looking completely tired out. He went to lay down on the sofa, when he noticed Ishizu. He paid no heed to her, however, and laid down so that his head was resting on her lap. He closed his eyes and Ishizu could feel his body relax.

"Uh, what are you doing?" asked Ishizu, completely puzzled by the new action Seto was taking.

"I'm resting," he answered. "I'm tired."

"Where were you?"

"At the cemetary. Visiting mom and dad."

"Oh." Ishizu looked down at Seto, but was surprised to see a smile on his face. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Just tired." There was a long silence, until Seto finally broke it. "Ishizu, I'm sorry about this afternoon. I acted like a total jerk. I realize you're trying to help me out. I'm just not used to it, is all. I'm sorry."

Ishizu couldn't help but chuckle. "Is the great Seto Kaiba losing his touch? But yes, I accept your apology. And I'm sorry I've been acting like a mother toward you."

"Apology accepted," he said. Ishizu sighed and started to play with Seto's hair. She didn't know why, but she liked the feel of Seto's hair. It was almost silky. "Why do you keep playing with my hair?" he finally asked.

"Ummm, I dunno. I like the way it feels."

"Oh, whatever." He went to resting, Ishizu playing with his hair the whole time. They sat like this for a half hour, when Ishizu felt the need to get up.

"Seto, could you please move?" she said. There was no reply. "Uh, Seto. You there?" Still, nothing. Ishizu sighed, realizing that Seto had fallen asleep. She slowly picked him up and put him back down on the couch. She stood up and stretched. Sitting on the sofa with somebody resting on your lap for a half-hour made your body go numb for awhile. She grabbed a blanket off the couch and put it over Seto. She then went upstairs and changed into her pajamas, which consisted of a beige tank top and black sweatpants. She then crawled into her bed and went to sleep. She was so happy with the progress she had made today. She knew that she had done something right that afternoon after Seto came home. Whatever it was, she didn't know. But it just made her feel good inside.
