Chapter Five: Ferrets… and Petco

(Yugi and Yami… and Bakura[the pig]/ in the living room)

Yugi: Yami?

Yami: (stroking his pig lovingly, very absorbed)

Yugi: umm, Yami?... YAMI!!

Yami: yes Yugi?

Yugi: ahh… anyway, I was wondering if we could get a pet.( Yami death glare) I mean… Bakura's a great pet, but I was thinking more like a ferret or something.

Yami: (very confused look) umm… okay! I'll be right back!

Yugi: hmm… I wonder where he's going…

Yami: ( coming from the kitchen) This is very weird Yugi, but, times have changed…I have for you…your pet!( holds up a carrot proudly)

Yugi: Yami, what's that?

Yami: It's your carrot pet. Now what should we name him? Hmm… Fred would be nice…

Yugi: (laughing so hard he falls off the couch) ow! (gets up) I didn't say I wanted a carrot for a pet! I said a ferret.

Yami: ohh… what's that? (sits down, still clutching "Fred")

Yugi: It's an animal, a furry one, that some people have as pets. So you can go put the carrot back now.

Yami: No! I've grown attached to him now. I couldn't possibly give him up now! Besides, Bakura's been kinda lonely…I won't do it!

Yugi: ohh…kay… Why don't we go down to the pet store and see what we can find?

Yami: okay! Fred can come too, right? And Bakura?

Yugi: Sure, I guess. We'll go to Petco, they let your… umm… "pets" come in the store with you.

Yami: That sounds great! Let's go! And you can get a pet too!

Yugi: urrgh… what am I getting myself into?

Okay, I forgot to do the disclaimer earlier, so… I don't own Yugioh, Petco, or even any carrots… Now I feel all depressed…oh well. Please review! (yeah, that will make me feel better)
