Say You Love Me Chapter 5
Recovery
*Yami POV*
The nurse smiled.
"Don't worry your friend is fine. He did suffer major blood loss but apart from that he's fine," she said with a glad voice.
I sighed in relief. My hikari was fine. I'm just glad I made it home on time.
"When will he be relesed?" I inquired
"Well you can go pick him up now if you wish just make sure he take it easy,"she said. "He's in ward 10"
I smiled. "Agrito."
"Lets go see are little buddy,"said Joey bright grin on his face.
I frowned a bit. Not that I didn't like Joey. He's one of my best friends but I would like to see Yugi alone first. Maybe found out what caused this sucide adtempt. Ryou looked at me and seemed to understand.
"Joey-kun. I think Yami should be the one to get Yugi and bring him home. We can always visit him tomorrow," said Ryou in a barely audible voice.
Everyone wlse nods but Mokuba seems a bit disappointed. He really must have wanted to see Yugi.
Joey had waited until everyone else had left before turning to face me. I looked at Joey questionly.
"Well could luck telling Yug how ya feel Yami," he said. He winked before sprinting after the others.
I stood frozen to the spot for about a minute. They knew?! I just found out today. How'd they know?? I sighed and decided to come back to this later. I walked towards ward 10 and knocked on the door.
"Aibou?" I said opening the door.
I looked around the room. All the light's were off and the blinds were closed. I felt a shiver travel up my spine. I looked and in the far courner of the room I saw a bed with Yugi huddled on top of it. He's eyes were closed. He appeared to be sleeping.
"Aibou?" I said again but more quietly.
Immediantly his eyes snapped open and he looked at me with those heartstopping violet orbs. His eyes seemed blank. They still had love and innocence but they seemed to be lacking something.
"Ya-Yami," Yugi said in a scared quiet voice. Why would my hikari fear me?
"Yugi, hikari. Why did you do that do yourself? Please tell me," I said, my voice pleading.
"No one would care if I go. Your more popular Yami. Everyone likes you more. Even my own grandpa. Why should I stay where I am not wanted?" he asked in a dead voice.
I rushed over to the bed and pulled Yugi into an embrace. He flinched at my touch but I didn't care.
"Hikari, we do care. It was wrong of us to ignore you but belief me we didn't mean to," I said but my aibou remained silent."Isn't there anything I can say that will make this better?"
"Say you love me!" Yugi yelled looking at me. "I don't care if you dont mean any of it. I just want to beleive for one moment at least that we could be together. just please, say you love me," he said letting the tears flow freely. He stared at me with those tear filled eyes.
"Yugi, my aibou. I love you," I said holding him tightly.
"Thank you," Yugi said falling asleep in my arms.
Poor Yugi. So unhappy
