Part 8

I heard my knees crack as I landed in a shallow puddle. When I got back on my feet I started off. I walked in the shadows so I could ovoid anyone looking for me. This is what it feels like to be wanted. Yoshiko's eyes lit up with excitement. She must have done this a lot with Sea. "Yoshiko, your excitement puzzles me."

I continued on, every so often I could feel Yoshiko's tails rub against my back. As I walked on 1 thing puzzled me more than Yoshiko, Kaiba. He had been really caring about me the last few days. I must be losing my mind. But it's like he knew all this was to happen. Hmm. I traced the bricks on a wall while a crowd of people walked by. Even though I was in the shadows I could feel a pair of eyes watching me. Eyes of one of the damned. I watch way to many horror movies. I let out a sigh and continued.

When I got out in the open I looked at a sign post: 6 miles to Dommino Forests

"Right where were going." I whispered to Yoshiko. "Miew." Was her blank reply.

So with that I broke into a run, I could get to the forest quicker that way.

I ran till I passed another sign 4 miles to Dommino Forests

I was on track so I slowed down a little. Yoshiko was hoping up and down on my shoulder with a doggish grin on her face. "You okay?" I asked. "Mraw." "What?" She sounded different. "I guess we'll take the bus if you're going crazy by walking." Her reply sounded like a chuckle as I walked to the bus stop. I waited for about half an hour and still no bus. "That weird it's only 6. The buses should still be running." In all my waiting I hadn't notice 1 thing: I was no longer at a bus stop.

Part 9

"Where the hell am I?!" I cried out. "You of all people should know." A voice answered. "Wha- Who, where are you!?" "Open your eyes, reincarnation of Sea!" "But!" He was right in front of me. "Gah!" I feel strait on my ass. "Startle you? A demon slayer should always be alert." "Demon slayer!?" "Yes." The shadows from his eyes lifted to show that he had dark green hair with white bangs, pale white skin and wore a odd set of clothing. (H.D. he looks and talks like Tsukasa just more shadows and a deeper voice) "Who are you?"

"According to Earth laws you state your own name first then I state mine." "What do you mean Earth laws?" "Don't you know your own planets laws? Sheesh!" "O-kay, my name's Ryou." "I knew it! Alright then I'm Ares the vampire bounty hunter." "You hunt vampires?" Didn't know vampires were even real. "No I am a vampire." That explains the large fangs. "What do you mean I'm a demon slayer?" I got back to the first question. "Piff. Well your father has been reborn as a demon and to destroy him you'll have to be a demon slayer." "My father's a demon!?" "As I know it. Come with me." "But!" He grabbed me by the wrist and put me on his back and started running through wherever we were.

"Ares! Slow down!" I yelled as some leaves whipped across my face. "We'll never get there if we slow down!" He yelled back. His back was very warm. He must have been the damned that I had sensed! "Mmm." I mumbled. I griped his shirt tightly and prepared for where he was taking me.

Part 10 I was running out of space so it's Ryou speaks the Ares okay?

When we stopped I realized I had dozed off. "Hey wake up." Ares said trying to wake me. "Kids these days." He turned his back and leaned on a tree till I got up. "Good lets go." His voice was sharp but still not evil like Bakura's, I miss him. "Ryou," He looked at me his purple/gray eyes looked strait into mine. "You'll make a good slayer." He smiled and went on walking. When we reached a pond he stopped. "Ryou cross the water and enter the tree." He pointed to an old tree in the middle of the lake. "I can't walk across water!" "If you are truly Sea's reincarnation you will." "So it's a test?" "Kinda just walk to the tree." "Okay." I swallowed all my pride and took off my shoes and put a foot in the water, he was right! I stood up and looked at all the small fish in the water. "The laws of physics are losing there edge." I muttered. Yoshiko jumped from my shoulder and ran off to the tree. "Your demon is wise." Ares complemented.

When I reached the tree there was a door in the middle of it. "What now Ares?" I asked. "Open the door and spread out your arms a legs and don't move." That didn't sound good. I opened the door. It was all misty inside, the door shut and I did as Ares said.

Seconds after I could feel myself being striped of my clothing, it was harsh and cold I squinted in pain as a large oval came over head. It began to spin rapidly then it came over my head and started covering my chest then all my body. It hurt more than any of Bakura's beatings. Once the door reopened I found out I was in new clothes. A filter mask covered my face, boots covered my feet and I was in an olden day Japanese outfit covered in armor. "You are not dead." Ares chuckled as I walked over to him Yoshiko at my heels. "That suite could have crushed every bone in your body." "Yeah well it hurt like frigin hell!" He chuckled. "Correction to the slayer statement, you are the one and only demon slayer."

Part 11

We walked along a dusty path. "Ares where are we?" "We're in past Dommino City, but I don't know how we got here. All I remember is living in Space." "You lived in space?" "Yeah, I'm a BIS. My mother and father died when they went to earth so I stayed in space till I became a bounty hunter." "Wow. Was it nice in your colony?" "You bet. It was the best colony ever." "Hmm." I smiled. Ares is a nice guy, for a vampire. "So Ryou how old are you?" "I'm 14, how old are you?" "Me? I'm about 18 I guess." He wasn't more than 4 years older than me! "We should really start off to the 7 mountains." "Is that where my father is?" "Well he lives in the 7th hell below the 7th mountain. "Oh. I thought there was only 1 hell?" "Not here." "Well let's get started then. Yoshiko?" "Your fox is waiting to transform." Ares remarked. "What? Transform?" "Yes that type of demon can transform into a lager and stronger form. Just snap your fingers." I did as I was told. "You see?" He was right again Yoshiko had turned into a large demon fox with burning paws and tails. "You may ride her in this form and even summon the 3rd eye." "3rd eye?" "The marking on her head is a closed eye but be very carful because once you summon it on an enemy or even by mistake it will kill everything in it's way." "How!?" This was getting interesting. "It sends everything your opponent fears, hates even old nightmares at them and it devours their very soul." "Uhh. That's pretty scary." "Yes but don't worry lets just not unleash it until we get to the 7th hell alright?" "Alright."

And with a that I climbed on to Yoshiko and set off to the 7th hell, destined to destroy my demonic father.
