"So Yami is back? I thought he wasn't suppose to arrive until tonight…" Mai said. Yugi had told her the whole story. Although he did leave out the details about detention with Seto. For some reason Jou hates him.

"Didn't your Grandfather tell you? Yami called a couple days ago saying he was moving back to Domino. He got all his credits and graduated from college. I was thinking of throwing him a party."

"Yugi, what has gotten into you kiddo? I didn't think much about it and Sugoroku must have forgotten. What is the big deal? He is your brother after all."

"Well yeah of course I do. He has been away at college for a few years but I met him a couple of times on visits. What is the big deal?"

Yugi rolled his eyes and groaned. Jou pulling a smart move kept his hand where it was, even though Yugi's breath on it made his skin heat up. "Well Mai I don't know him that well either but it seems to me that he treated Yugi rather poorly most of his childhood."

"How `poorly'?"

Yugi removed Jou's hand. Breathing in Jou's scent of peanut butter and coconuts was making him hungry, in more than one way too. "Yeah, I don't want to be near him."

"Well kiddo if Yami is moving back home your going have to get use to him." Yugi looked sadden and Jou felt bad for him.

Mai stood up. "Well I do have to leave now. I have work today, Maki quit and I'm covering his shift for now. You can stay here for a while but you have to go home sometime. That cute see-through shirt I gave you is there. I still have yet to see you wear it." She joked and smiled.

"Mai!" She laughed and picked up her house keys.

"I'm going to go now, lock up when you leave and don't do anything `naughty' while I'm gone. Save your smut for school bathrooms."

Mai cackled almost sinisterly and left. Yugi face was red and Jou shifted uncomfortably. "So that Mai chick seems really cool." Jou attempted at lighting the mood. Yugi seemed really down.

"Jou you don't have to stay here if you don't want too. You're probably busy. I'll have Mai take me home when she gets back." `Oh my god, I was so close to him! For a minute I wanted to kiss him. But he can't find out. If I tell him I like him he won't want to be friends with me anymore.'

Jou watched Yugi's lips move but didn't hear anything that came out. "Jou?" He was right there. "Jou?" He was about to kiss him. "Jou??" But then Yugi pulled away. "Jou?!"

"Huh?" Jou finally comprehended Yugi's voice.

"I asked if you wanted to leave."

"Uh I guess. Where did you want to go?" Yugi blinked.

"I meant if YOU wanted to leave. I'm sure your busy…"

"Why would I want to leave?" Jou heart withered. "Do you want me to go?" Yugi looked at his feet.

"I'm sure you have better stuff to do."

"What better stuff? I'm just fine! Say if your foot isn't hurting too bad maybe we could go eat then hang out at the arcade. You know they have this new game…" Yugi tested his ankle and flinched.

"No it stills hurts. You can go without me. I'll be okay here."

"You know Yug if you keep saying that I really am going to believe you want me gone. There is no way I'd leave you here by yourself. What kind of friend would do that?"

Yugi looked up and smiled. "Friend?"

Jou smiled more. "Of course! I thought we established that yesterday? What is going on in that head of yours? Did hitting it one too many times knock a screw loose?" Jou mussed up Yugi's hair and shocked Jou by latching himself around his waist in a `cub-hug'. (3)

"This is great! So what do you want to do? Want to go to my house? I got some great games! I got all the systems! X-box, game-cube, Playstation 2…" Jou tuned Yugi out again.

`Yugi you have to stop teasing me like this!' "Uh yeah sure lets do that. Lets go now." Jou released himself from Yugi's grip and walked quickly out the door.

Yami started laughing so hard his face turned red. Tears rolled down his face as he clutched his sides. "Oh my gawd, oh my gawd, YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR FACES!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Other occupants in the room stopped and turned to see what the loud disturbance was, all except the three on pillow bed.

Yugi and Jou were quiet most of the way to Yugi's house. But as they drew nearer Yugi grew more and more fearful. He began shaking his legs nervously.

"Hey Yug quit bouncing around would ya? I'm losing my grip."

"Sorry, its just I don't think we should go there anymore. I want to go somewhere else."

"Yug you are going to have to sooner or later. I'm with ya buddy, it will be alright."

When they turned the next block and Yugi saw his house he lost his nerve. "Jou lets go! I don't want to go in there!"
