Chapter 7: She

She was locked in a tomb
Her soul sealed,
Her body separated,
Her name erased,

She was erased from life,
Her existence was no more,
Her life was denied,
Her birth right ignored,

She was young,
Her skin fair,
Her laughter bright,
Her eyes full of life,

She was mine,
Her body,
Her soul,
Her life

She was a Goddess,
Her mind sharp,
Her courage unmatched,
Her strength unrivaled,

She was Ma'at, Daughter of the Gods

The clouds slowly inched past in the clear sky. The bright sun penetrated the earth reaching all corners. The bright light seeped through a crack into a tomb. The dark cavern was bleak and empty except for a crude sarcophagus and a jar with inscriptions on it(2). It was cracked and not well shaped. Nor did it have the gold casing and jewelry that usually decorated a royalty's grave. This was rare, especially because the person sealed within the “box” was the sister of a much respected pharaoh. She was the sister of Atemu, at her birth she had been named Ma'at(3). Later before her burial all records of her were chiseled away(4).The records that did remain illustrated her name as Tadheya(6). Her story is not clearly recorded anywhere on the walls. The only way that anyone would know who this young Princess was is that there was a small family tree printed on the right wall. Her “name” was linked to that of Atemu. Today, for the first time in roughly 5000 years the sun passed over the young woman's name. Light began to outline the name Tadheya and as the symbol was finished the light bounced off of something hidden in the rock and onto the jar in the corner. The symbols on the jar began to glow and the jar shook, small pieces cracking off. The seal spread out on the top with cloth flew off as a bright light escaped it. Inside the small bleak room the wind began to pick up and the “box” began to shake as a blue light surrounded it. The top slid off and broke into small pieces as the electric blue glow entered it. There was a mummified body in three parts inside of it.

The blue light seeped into each of the separate parts and electric white strings began to attach the different parts to each other. The cloth slowly dissolved revealing dark flawless skin. New body parts began to shape themselves. The cloth dissolved away on the first part and created a face. Long black hair with golden streaks began to grow; she had a beautiful complexion, going further her chest began to shape. The rest of the material soon dissolved and in the coffin laid the well sculpted body of a woman maybe 17. Her eyes opened to reveal a shocking color of red. The tense muscles in her body flexed and her chest heaved as she took in a deep breath of air.

“I live…” she hoarsely spoke.

With her limbs shaking she slowly lifted herself out of the “box” and gracefully stepped out. She sat down and studied her tomb. Anger and sorrow flashed through her eyes like lighting. After her sacrifice this is what they had treated her as. She closed her eyes and clothes began to materialize on her naked form. A white glow emitted from her body and as it faded she was wearing white robes and gold jewelry. Seething with anger she walked to the jar and threw it against the wall of the family tree. The broken shards lay on the ground and amongst them was a gold pendant with a sulphor (?) center and etched in it were the symbols for Tadheya encrypted on it. She spit on the ground and concentrated on the pendant. The symbols erased themselves and the symbol for Ma'at appeared on it. She pulled it over her head and stood up to her full height.

“Watch out Atemu…Watch out My Brother, Watch out My Enemy, Watch out World, Watch out Guardians…For I have been reborn…I have been set free, and Ma'at is coming for you!” her voice boomed in the empty room as the weather outside quickly changed to a storm that matched her cry.

Her voice was strong and enchanting and the air of a royal surrounded her.

“I am coming for you too Ryou….my lover,” she whispered.

Ryou awoke again sweating. He gasped for air as he sprung up in bed. He had had the strangest dream. A dream of a woman, very enchanting, gorgeous woman… He breathed heavily. As he thought back to her he couldn't help but feel his lower regions tingle.(5) She was an erotic sight. Ryou looked at his hands to find them shaking. A shower would do him good…yes a COLD shower, he noted as he examined himself more closely.

As he finished his shower he collapsed back on his bed to try and sleep but could not get the eyes, the body, the voice of the woman out of his head. Deciding that maybe writing would help he pulled out his black notebook. He began to number the date when he noticed that it was no longer the 25th but the 26th, although very early in the morning. He scribbled out the date and titled his poem, “ She.”

AUTHORS BLAH BLAH

Mistress: Okay I lied, this chapter came up earlier than expected because of a brain blast and a friend who covered for me while I “worked on my homework”. ^__^ How was it? Feed back is appreciated!
(1)This poem wasn't written until I re-wrote the chapter twice, it's a little shoppy but it'll do ( I hope )

(2) Pharaoh's sarcophaguses were ALWAYS well decorated and with fine art. There were four layers or three and all were very detailed, the top being made of gold. It was very rare and definitely RUDE to place a royalty in anything less than that.

(3)Ma'at is an Egyptian Goddess. She is the Goddess of Justice, Law and Order(isn't that a TV show?) Immortality, and Primordial Being. She was the breath of life to Gods. Her feather was placed on the opposite side of a scale from the heart of the dead person, the recently passed soul. If the scale was balanced the that person would be allowed to pass into afterlife. If the person heart, however, was heavier could not pass. The heart was given to Ammit to eat. So the red plume of Ma'at itself became a hieroglyph for truth. I picked that as her name because if your heart were heavy ( as in filled with grief, sorrow, hatred etc.) you would not pass, and as you can see she definitely didn't go to the afterlife. More on her later…

(4)In some cases Pharaoh's would erase the names of the Pharaoh's before them when they cam into rule, as to erase their existence.

(5) Okay, you may be confused now, Ryou in this story is Bi. Yes BI. It works better for the plot ^__^
(6) Tadheya is Arabic for sacrifice!

A nifty simile:
CATNIP IS TO CATS AS COFEE IS TO A WORKER

COFEE IS TO A WORKER AS REVIEWS ARE TO AN AUTHOR!

In simple words: Reviews keep me going!
