Hey there! Sorry about the long wait. Just took me forever to actually type this up. Hopefully you'll like this chapter. Believe it or not, this chapter is kind of serious. Just a small warning. But remember, don't take much seriously. ^^

Chapter three: "Reem, Yami, and the strange decayed mold."

Time seemed to slow down once they had gotten into space. They had taken the heart-shaped ship to fit both crews, but the huge ship was still packed.

Yugi was piloting the ship while everyone else was at a meeting. It had to do with something about supplies and the new ship that awaited them.

A see through boy walked over to Yugi. "So, I see they trust you enough for you to drive on your own," Bakura said with an evil grin. "Why don't you do loopy-loop?"

"No," Yugi said, continuing to steer the ship straight. "They might get mad at me. Though, Kaiba looks really funny when he's mad."

"Come on," Bakura pleaded. "Just once?"

Yugi smiled. He couldn't refuse Bakura's plead. "Okay, alright." He grabbed the steering wheel and swung it all the way to the right.

Pegasus was giving another lecture on how his Red Wine had to be cold, but not to cold, when the ship turned over. Everyone fell - up.

"What's going on?" Tea asked. "What's happening with my ship?"

Kaiba muttered a curse before getting up and running out the door. "I'll be right back," he called out to them.

Pegasus just held on tightly to his cold, but not to cold Red Wine, not caring about anything else.

Tea stood up. "Meeting over. Go back to your stations." She quickly headed after Kaiba, ready to take command if needed.

Kaiba reached the Bridge to find Yugi humming while holding the steering wheel in one place. "I knew it!"

Yugi looked up and smiled. "Hello Kaiba. How's it hanging?" He chuckled at his own joke.

Kaiba ran over to the steering wheel and tried to jerk it up to stop it, but Yugi was determined to keep it in that position. "Let go!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"YES!!!!!!"

Pop

The steering wheel came, once again, right off and into Kaiba's hands - again.

"What did you do?" Tea screamed looking at the scene. "What did you just do to my precious ship?!"

"He broke another one," Pegasus said with another hiccup, entering the room. "Joseph! Glue the steering wheel back on."

Joey scowled. "I ain't da repairs smith or somethin'! I do have oder jobs ta do. Besides why ar' ya goin' ta glue da steering wheel anyway?"

"It happens all the time," Pegasus stated. "Glue works like a charm."

"Whateve'," Joey said making his way to the steering wheel. "I'll do my best ta fix dit. Jus' don' expect dit ta be perfect."

Tea still looked horrified. Her ship had just almost lost the steering wheel, and who knows what havoc the other crew would create on her ship. 'Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to use my ship,' she thought silently to herself.

The steering wheel was quickly glued on and they were off, right side up. Unfortunately, the wheel couldn't move all the way to the left because of the glues effect.

Kaiba had sulked off toward his station to train his army. He would have a lot of trouble with this army. He just new it; he could feel it.

AMK was boxing with Serenity while Mai was doing her nails in the corner. Diana was no where to be seen.

Kaiba entered the room and cleared his throat. "We will begin training now. Everyone come and I'll explain what we'll do."

All three girls walked over to Kaiba, but Diana still didn't appear.

"Where's Diana?" Kaiba questioned.

As soon as he finished his sentence, Marik burst through the door behind Kaiba, screaming at the top of his lungs. "Someone save me! She's coming for me!!"

"Who's coming for you?" Serenity asked, trying to calm down the Artillery man.

"Sh-she!" Marik cried pointing a shaking finger toward the door.

"Why aren't you at your station?" Kaiba demanded. "You're supposed to always be there in case we're under attack."

"Sh-she's the reason!" Marik cried.

"Honey, if you don't tell us who she is we can't help you," Mai stated. "So, what's her name?"

"Marik?" Came a girls voice from outside the door. "You in there?" Diana appeared, hands on her hips. "I've been looking all over for you."

A whimper escaped Marik's mouth as he hid behind AMK.

"You're the one who's been terrorizing Marik?" AMK asked.

"No terrorizing," Diana corrected. "Groping!"

Kaiba rolled his eyes. "Look, we don't have time for that. We're on an important mission. We need to train-Wha?"

AMK grinned evilly. "Doesn't Kaiba look so much better with gum in his hair?"

"Yeah," Diana agreed.

"It's about time someone did that," Mai stated.

"I wonder if he'll be able to get it out," Serenity wondered out loud.

Kaiba was beet red. "That's it! You're going to - !"

"Oh Kaiba-boy!" Pegasus interrupted in the speakers. "We're nearing a planet. I want you to send a team down there for some supplies."

"Already?" Kaiba asked. "Fine. AMK, you're coming with me. The rest of you, just train yourselves."

Marik gulped. "What about me? Kaiba?!" But Kaiba was already out of sight, leaving him along with the groping and army girls.

Ishizu was waiting for Kaiba and AMK at the shuttle pod, which was also shaped as a heart as well as many of the controls.

"Greetings," Ishizu said with a bow. "I'm going with you to help get everything that is needed."

"Joy," Kaiba said sarcastically, getting into the shuttle pod. "I don't care, long if you don't waste time."

"Hi," AMK greeted. "It's nice to see that I won't be alone with him. So, what's on the list?"

Ishizu smiled. "A few more bottles of Red Wine, more lazer guns. It seems Yugi found where we kept them all. We need more glue and an Energy Stick(A/N: Just made that up!).

"What's an Energy Stick?" AMK asked curiously.

"You'll see."

They had arrived on the desert planet quickly. Some of the people were friendly and offered special deals on their products, but others were skeptical of the newcomers and kept their distance.

They had split up to search for the items, and, unfortunately, AMK was stuck with the Red Wine. But it seemed that the planet had none.

She sighed as she continued to walk. She had been going around in circles for what seemed like eternity and she still couldn't find the Red Wine. "Maybe they just don't sell it here."

"Sell what?"

AMK jumped with surprise and quickly turned around to face whoever spoke. There were two people behind her.

One was a girl and had light brown hair with gold highlights and green eyes. The other person was a boy that looked a lot like Yugi, except that he was a little taller, his eyes were narrower and his spikes, were, well spikier.

"What are you looking for?" The girl asked. "I know my way around this place well. Maybe I can help."

"Um, well. I'm kind of looking for some Red Wine. For the Captain of our ship," AMK added quickly. "He's obsessed with it."

"Red Wine, eh?" The girl said. "Alrighty then. Let me see. I think I know where they sell it, at a cheap price too. Follow me!"

AMK sighed with relief. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate this. I mean, if you hadn't shown up and I would be still searching."

"No problem."

To AMK's surprise, the girl and the boy kept on following her even after she had bought the Wine. She suddenly started thinking that it wasn't a coincidence that she had met the girl and boy.

AMK quickly headed toward the spot she had told Kaiba and Ishizu to meet her; they were already waiting for her.

Kaiba's eyes narrowed as AMK approached. "Who are your little friends?"

"Oh, they helped me find the Red Wine," AMK said. "Do you got everything else on the list?"

Ishizu nodded. "We should be leaving now."

"Wait!" The girl shouted. "Can we go with you?"

The three crew members looked at the girl in surprise. "Why should we let you two go with us?" Kaiba demanded.

"Because," The girl said, "we know a clue to finding the weapon of mass destruction. So, are you going to let us on board?"

"What's your name?" AMK asked.

"My name is Reem," the girl replied before pointing toward the boy beside her. "My friend's name is Yami. So, can we go or not?"

Kaiba considered this. "No."

"Why?" Reem asked.

"Because, we shouldn't have any strangers on-" Kaiba started but was cut off by AMK, who stuck more gum in his hair. "Dammit! Will you stop doing that." With a nasty glare he quickly started yanking the gum out, only succeeding in making it worse.

Ishizu walked over to Kaiba. "Let me help."

"No," Kaiba spat, still trying desperately to get the gum out.

"Let me help."

"No!"

AMK turned her attention back to Reem and Yami. "Yes you can come. I'm sure the captain wouldn't mind. Besides we need a clue to finding the weapon."

Reem hopped up and down. "Yeah! I'm going to Outer Space!"

"GET OFF ME!!!!!!"

Reem, Yami and AMK looked back toward Ishizu and Kaiba. It was funny sight to behold. Ishizu was on top of Kaiba trying to get the gum out, while Kaiba was trying to get both off.

AMK tore her eyes from the funny sight and turned toward the two new crew members. "Lets head toward the Shuttle Pod. I'm sure that they'll catch up."

"Cool!" Reem cried happily. "I'm going to go in a real Shuttle Pod!"

The Shuttle Pod was docked back in the ship a little while later, and five people walked out and headed toward the captain's headquarters. A few people asked who the two new comers were, but asked no further when told that they had a clue to finding the weapon.

They soon reached their destination. With a few inhales of breath, they entered the captains chambers.

It was a vibrant room will very colorful walls. To the right was a bed and a desk and to the left was many shelves of Red Wine. Pegasus sat in a chair in front of them.

AMK was the first to speak. "We got everything, sir. Also, we found Reem and Yami. They say they have a clue to finding the weapon."

"Can we stay?" Reem blurted out.

"Of course you can," Pegasus exclaimed gesticulating. "Stay as long as you want. Just tell me the clue please."

Reem smiled before closing her eyes. "Go to a place where you see yourself. Where one thing can be all around you. Go to a place that reflects your true self and find the real of all the fake."

Pegasus paused. "Well, I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean. We'll have to do more research before we'll be able to figure it out."

"Oh captain!" Reem said. "I was wondering if I could keep my pet mold." She reached into her backpack and brought out a container with green decayed mold in it. "She's always been with me. Please?"

"What?!" Kaiba practically yelled. "You can't possibly think that he would allow that thing on board!"

"Sure."

Kaiba looked horrified.

"Thank you so much captain!" Reem cried happily. "Thank you soo, sooo, sooo much!" She lifted the cage to her face. "See Nina, I told you you'd be able to stay!"

"I'll show you to your rooms," AMK said smiling. "Follow me."

Joey looked blankly at the Engine Room. There were all these different tubes sticking out of it and going every which way. He really didn't know which one to cut.

Ryou had left minutes ago to get the Energy Stick they were supposed to put in the cut tube and had told Joey to cut the blue tube. It sounded simple enough, then. Unfortunately, there were light blue tubes, dark blue tubes and many other different kinds of blue tubes. Joey had no idea which one to cut.

"Well, what's da worse dat coul' happen?" Joey thought out loud. He picked a blue tube, and cut it.

The whole ship rumbled and trembled as the lose tube whipped back and forth. Gas from the cut tube filled the air and floated out of the door threatening to engulf all those misfortunate to get in its' way.

Ryou raced in the Engine Room still holding the odd looking Energy Stick. He looked at the horrific sight and dropped the item in his hands. "Joey! You cut the wrong tube!"

"Really?" Joey asked sarcastically, while coughing. "I was under da 'pression dat dis was supposed ta happen."

Ryou headed toward the tube that was cut and pushed it back together. "We're going to need some glue and duct tape. Can you get some?"

Joey nodded. "I'll get da few gas masks while I'm out. Jus' hang in dere." He quickly ran off to get the stuff that would right his wrong.

Reem had gone out for a walk with Nina, when a strange gas floated threw the corridor. She quickly covered her nose and mouth with her shirt to stop herself from inhaling the puissant smell.

The container that held Nina, shifted in Reem's hand.

Reem looked curiously down at her pet to see it was bigger then before. "Looks like I have to get another container for you."

A blond with a gas mask on appeared through the mist-like gas.

"Hello," Reem called out. "Do you know where this gas came from?"

The blond ignored Reem completely and just kept on running past her.

"That was rude," Reem pouted. She looked down at Nina, who seemed to have grown even more. "Lets head back so we can get a bigger container for you." She smiled and skipped off.

Joey rushed in the engine room and went over to Ryou. "Here's yar gas mask." He placed the mask sloppily over Ryou's head before turning his attention to the tube.

Ryou kept the tube closed while Joey glued the tube, then duct tapped it together. "Thanks."

Joey nodded. "The captain shoul' be sendin' a squad ta take care of dis gas. Who knows how harmful dit was."

Ryou headed over to another blue tube with the cutter and the Energy Stick.

"What ar' ya doin'?" Joey asked looking horrified at the blue tube Ryou was about to cut. "Wha' do ya think yar doin'?"

"It says 'cut this blue tub'," Ryou said pointing toward a small sign plastered on the tube. "This was the one we were supposed to cut." He severed the tube and quickly put the Energy Stick in place of it.

"Sorry 'bout dat," Joey said scratching his head. "Didn't notice da sign."

"It's quite alright," Ryou said putting the cutter back. "No harm done. Now, lets head toward the doctor just in case it has a side effect."

Joey's eyes lit up. "Da Doc." He paused for a moment. "Hey, Ryou? Why did we hav' ta get rid of da tube anyway?

"It was a self destruct tube," Ryou explained. "Most Star Ships have them. When you're being attacked it activates. They can be useful but very deadly." He smiled sweetly. "We don't have to worry about accidentally setting it off, like Marik. Now, lets go to the doctor."

"Awright!"

Reem looked down at her pet. She didn't want to be left alone with the growing mold at night. Ever since the gas, Nina hadn't stopped growing. It scared her, especially since that had happened many years ago.

"I'm sure the legend isn't true," Reem thought out loud, watching Nina grow even bigger. "But, just to be safe, I'm going to visit Yami." She quickly got out of her headquarters and ran off to find Yami.

Back in Reem's room, Nina's container bursted, letting the decayed mold fall onto the ground, and grow even more.

The next day was the same as the last one, but many people had side effects from the gas. Strange side effects.

Tea looked around at everyone. She was, fortunately, one of the lucky ones that hadn't inhaled the gas. "So, Ishizu, when will the effects where off?"

"A few days," Ishizu replied sticking a mini corn dog in her mouth. "I've got them on medication so they don't do anything to drastic."

"What is the side effects anyway?" Tea asked, confused.

"It warped their personalities," Ishizu replied. "Made them different then what they used to be. Luckily, for us, it wares off."

Tea nodded. "Yeah."

Serenity bursted through the eating room door, panting. "Help! A green blob just ate someone! Help!"

"What?" Marik cried confused.

"Oops."

Everyone slowly turned toward the voice. It was Reem's.

"'Oops'?" Tea asked.

"Um, I'll explain once everyone's here to listen," Reem stated. "Everyone gather in the battle room. I'll explain what's going on there."

It didn't take long for everyone to gather in the battle room. All of them were anxious to see what was going on.

Reem stood in the center of all the people. "Okay, remember my pet mold Nina? Well, it was a legend on my planet, but long ago there was a war. The mold wanted to wipe out my people for good, but we were able to stop them. You see. They grow when they inhale certain gases and continue to grow by eating. Somehow we found a way to make them shrink, and they became faithful pets."

"So how did you defeat them?" Pegasus asked clutching his Red Wine.

Reem shrugged. "I can't remember. After all, it was a legend."

"What do you mean you can't remember?" Ryou demanded.

"It's alwight," Joey stated. "Maybe we coul' settle dis peacefully."

"I say we blast that mother fucker all the way to a different Galaxy!" Ryou said. "That should teach it not to mess with us."

"Now I see what you mean by 'warped their personalities'," Tea whispered into Ishizu's ear. "They aren't acting like themselfs at all!"

"Peace."

"War!"

"Peace."

"War!"

"Peace."

"WAR!!!"

"Well, we should try and stop it from eating anymore people," Diana suggested. "Lets get ready for combat!"

Everyone was in a battle outfit, that suited them best, and had lots of lazer guns. But Ryou seemed to have taken the majority of them, and Yugi couldn't stop himself from eating most of the ammunition. They were ready. Ready for the fight against the repulsive mold.

"Where's Kaiba?" Diana asked.

"Here I am!" Kaiba came out in a pink girls dress with pink earrings, and pink high heeled shoes.

Everyone's jaw dropped.

"Wha-what did you do?" Tea asked mortified.

Kaiba struck a strange poise. "Aren't I cute?"

"He even pierced his ears," Serenity pointed out. "That must have hurt. Especially for a guy."

"Lets get back to destroying this mold!" Ryou said loading his lazer gun at kill. "Lets take it down!"

They had split into four different groups of three, the fifth group only having two, to cover the ship quicker.

Tea sighed. Out of all the people on the ship, she was stuck with Kaiba. But worst of all, they were the only ones in the group. She was all alone, with the deranged Dulcan.

Kaiba's high heels made a clip-clop sound on the ground as they moved and it was starting to irritate Tea. Her mind often wandered, trying to think of anything else but the sounds of Kaiba's high heels, but one question had always remained. Where, had Kaiba had gotten that outfit. She was just starting to wonder if Kaiba had the dress before his personality warped, when a massive green glob came into view that whole hallway.

Tea gulped. Why did she have to get stuck with all the bad things? First the cross-dresser Kaiba, now the man-eating green blob?

Kaiba daintily picked up his lazer gun and aimed it toward Nina. But the shot was never fired. The lazer gun was knocked out of his hands by the green glob.

"That was our only lazer gun," Tea whined, watching Nina suck it up. "We don't have anymore with us."

"How dare you hit a girl," Kaiba scolded the creature.

"But you aren't a girl," Tea pointed out.

Kaiba looked hurt. "How dare you say that! I might not completely be a girl, but in my heart, I am a girl."

Tea was sweating now. She didn't know what to do, with the blob, or with Kaiba. What could she do?

The green blob was advancing. 'There's only one thing left to do,' Tea thought. 'I'll have to be brave.' She dug in her pocket and grabbed some food( she hadn't wanted to leave her breakfast there, and she thought that she might be hungry later ) and threw it at Nina.

Nina stopped and started eating the food Tea had just flung.

Tea took this time to grab Kaiba and yell in his/her ear. "RUN FOR YOU LIFE!!" She quickly ran off dragging the confused Kaiba with her.

Serenity walked ahead of Diana and Joey. She just couldn't believe that they were hitting on each other and even groping, when a man-eating green blob was around.

"Is your hair naturally pink?" Joey asked poking Diana's hair is if it was alive. "It looks pretty neat."

"I'll never tell!" A sly grin came across Diana's face. "You know what would be nice right about now? A - "

"Blob," Serenity said.

"No," Diana said with a frown. "A - "

"No!" Serenity screeched. "Blob! There!" She pointed her finger in front of them where the mold was slowly heading toward them.

"Oh," Diana said acknowledging what Serenity just said. "Blob!" She quickly got her lazer gun ready and walked over toward the blob.

"Is it eating?" Joey asked, looking at the rumbling mold. "It's just sitting there. What could it be doing?"

"HELP!"

Joey, Diana and Serenity turned around to see Reem and Yami running toward them.

"Nina ate Ishizu!" Reem cried.

"What?" Serenity asked. "You mean to tell us that our only doctor has been digested in some molds stomach?"

"Hey, I'm a doctor in training," Joey stated.

No one payed any attention to Joey's complaint.

"What are we going to do?" Diana asked, eyeing the blob.

"Lets find the others," Yami suggested. "Since we know where Nina is, we can easily find her again once we have backup."

"You're sooo smart!" Reem cooed.

"Perfect plan," Serenity said. "Come on, lets go before Nina spots us and we are the ones that are eaten."

"Okay."

"I am a doctor in training!"

Ryou stalked the halls, ready to shot anything that came across his path. Unfortunately, that's what he did. Every time he saw a shadow or a trick of the light, he would shoot, causing even more damage then the blob.

AMK sighed as Ryou shot yet another shadow - his own. "Mai, shouldn't we stop him? After all, we are apart of the military."

"Two reasons, honey," Mai said. She held up one finger. "Reason number one, It's nice when someone does the work for you. Reason number two it's quite entertaining."

AMK rolled her eyes and watched as Ryou went around another corner and started shooting. "Maybe we should stop him. I mean, he's ruining the ship."

"Ack!"

"Was that Ryou?" Mai asked.

"I don't know. . ."

"Get off me you mother fucker!"

Mai and AMK looked at each other. "Yep, that's him," they said simultaneously before running around the corner to see what was wrong.

The blob had gotten a hold of Ryou's let and was starting to suck him in.

AMK quickly took action. She grabbed the lazer gun and shot the part of Nina Ryou was being sucked into. The white liquid acted as acid and burned the creature, giving AMK just enough time to pull Ryou out of reach.

Ryou blinked once at AMK. "Thanks."

AMK nodded. "Don't mention it. Now, lets get out of here!"

Everyone headed back tot he battle station to get more weapons. Yugi, Marik and Pegasus were waiting for them.

"How long have you been here?" Tea asked.

"We never left," Marik complained. "This old goat decided that he didn't want to leave his precious wine. What are you doing here? Have you kill the mold yet?"

"We're running away from the mold," Serenity said with a sigh. "We don't know how to kill it, and, apparently, it's already eaten Ishizu."

"We must be the main corse," Yugi stated thoughtfully.

"That's nice," AMK said with a frown. "I'm not sure about you, but I don't want to be mold food."

Ryou nodded, still looking at AMK.

Thwump!

Everyone turned around to face the door, where the massive blob stood, blocking the only exit.

"It found us!" Kaiba cried putting his/her hand delicately up to his mouth.

"We can see that," Joey said sarcastically.

"Now what do we do?" Marik asked looking at the advancing mold. "We're cornered against a seemingly invincible enemy. How do we beat it? Is this the end of our mission?"

No one retorted back telling Marik not to say stuff like that. None of them knew what was going to happen. Was it really, the end?

Well, hope you liked this chapter. I know, I was evil, leaving off on a cliffy like that! But I didn't want a to long chapter and it was already really long, so I just decided to put the rest in the next chapter since there wasn't anything really going on there and it would have been a short chapter( Besides Sean's idea). So, I hope you can wait a long time for the next chappie!
