Hi everyone! I'm here to stay! For at least a week or two. ^^" I know it beats the whole point of saying 'here to stay'. Yes, I'm weird that way.

I'm sorry that I took so long to get this chapter uploaded. I just had a momentary daze where I couldn't even think of what to think about! @_@ I'm not kidding.

I'm glad you like it. ^-^ I come up with strange ideas, but I'll try to come up with more ideas for our fic, which by the way, when are we ever going to get to it?? ?_? Thanks for the compliment on Joey. I don't think it's good 'cause I'm just writing in everything weirdly, though I slacked off on this chapter. Chapter four: "Lucky ticket."

The blob moved slowly toward them all, leaving a trail of ooze behind it. It was now inside of the room, blocking the only exit out.

Pegasus was still clutching his bottle of Wine. "I wonder how we'll get out of this." He popped open the cap and started to jug down the substance inside.

"Is there any lazer guns left?" Tea asked frantic. "The blob digested ours. Of course, Kaiba didn't help out much."

"I'm sorry," Reem said playing with her fingers. "Me and Yami dropped ours in front of the blob."

Everyone looked at one another, waiting for someone to speak up saying that they still had a lazer gun. No one did.

Yugi's eyes widened as what Tea said suck in. "It ate my lazer guns? It ate them?" He shot an acid glare at Nina. "How dare you eat my lazer guns!!!"

"Calm down," Marik said being practical. "They aren't yours anyway."

It was the wrong thing to say. Yugi turned toward Marik a crazed look in his eyes. "They're - my lazer guns!" He pounced on Marik.

AMK sighed. It couldn't get any worse. Not only were they cornered by a massive green blob who was about to digest them, but they were also fighting amongst one another. What was going to happen next?

"Um, guys?" Serenity took a step back. "It's getting closer!"

There was no answer, or cry in horror.

Serenity paused. "Guys?" She turned around to face the rest of them, to find them all of them huddled around Yugi and Marik, shouting at them. "Guys?"

"Go for the guts!" Ryou cried at Yugi.

"Ouch," Joey winced. "He actually did dit!"

Diana turned toward Mai, dollar bill in hand. "I bet you twenty dollars that Yugi is going to win this fight."

"Mine as well," Mai stated with a sigh. "Okay, you're on!" She held out her twenty dollars. " Come on you whimp! Hit back!"

"I wonder," AMK thought out loud. She grabbed a pocket full of gum and started to throw them at Yugi and Marik. "This is fun!"

Serenity looked horrified at the scene. "What are you doing? There's no time to bet or watch a fight! The stupid blob is coming after us!"

Kaiba grabbed one of his high heeled shoes and threw it at the blob, never taking his eyes of the fight. "Now there is. Get him!"

"At least Kaiba got the blob to stop coming after us," Serenity muttered, watching the blob digest the pink shoe. "But we should devising a plan."

Pegasus grabbed another bottle of Wine. "Come over here," he called out to Serenity with a hiccup. "Come and watch them beat the crap out of each other."

The blob moved again.

"Guys!" Serenity shrieked. "It's getting even bigger! Ew! It's letting out some kind of liquid!"

More ooze came out of it's body and started spreading across the floor.

Serenity took a step backward, only to step on the more ooze. "Ack!" She hit the ground. "Ew, my shorts are wet!"

"You alright honey?" Mai called out tearing her eyes away from the fight to walk up to Serenity.

"The liquid is slippery," Serenity moaned, getting up with the help of Mai. "Maybe Kaiba shouldn't have fed it."

"Well, didn't Reem tell us that when you feed it, it grows?" Mai asked pulling Serenity out of reach of the liquid. "I guess it lets out some kind of liquid when it eats."

Kaiba blinked once and stood straight, a thought coming to his head. "That's it!" He walked, crookedly toward Pegasus ( he only has one Pink high-heeled shoe on ) and grabbed the Wine bottle.

Pegasus didn't understand what was going on. "Give me my Wine back!" He made a swipe at it, but Kaiba just walked off. "Now!"

Kaiba payed no attention to Pegasus and walked toward the green blob. "Lets hope this works. If not, I'm going to be in a world of trouble." He held the bottle side ways and jerked if forward.

The Red Wine came gushing out at Nina, spraying her everywhere. Once it hit, it started to spread, like a virus.

They all looked in amazement as the massive green blob shrank back to it's original height and fell on the ground.

"I remember now!" Reem cried out triumphantly. "It can't stand liquid! That's why the liquid stores were hidden!"

"That doesn't make sense," AMK stated still looking in awe at the once big mold. "I hit the Nina with the lazer gun and it didn't shrink then."

"You have to hit it's head," Reem said. "That's why."

"What was the ooze?" Serenity asked still trying to get the substance off her butt.

"Whenever it eats it has to let go of some of the water inside of it," Reem said. "It may not be able to withstand water, but like all organisms, it needs water to survive. So when the water gets abundant, it lets it out when it eats."

Serenity nodded getting what Reem said, then frowned. "Since when were you a Science whiz?"

"Um, two minutes ago?"

"Now you remember how to shrink it back?" Mai sighed and put a hand to her face. "Figures. Just our luck, huh?"

"Wait jus' ta minute," Joey said holding up a hand. "Dat ding has a head?'

Reem nodded.

"How did you know to splash it with liquid?" Diana asked Kaiba curiously. "I think all of us are pretty clueless."

"Just a guess," Kaiba said with a shrug. "Just a guess."

Pegasus looked wid-eyed in horror at the scene in front of him. "My Wine," he mumbled stretching his hands out. "My precious. . . ."

"We should have a funeral for Ishizu," Tea said solemly. "We'll make tomorrow a day off so we can pay our respects."

"To whom?"

They all turned around.

"Oh my god!" Joey shrieked. "It's a zombie!"

"I-I thought you were eaten by Nina!" Reem cried out.

Ishizu looked very confused. "Me? Nah, I just slipped."

Kaiba sighed. "Just explain."

Ishizu blinked once. "Okay. Well, when Reem and Yami saw Nina they both grabbed onto each other and the lazer guns flying out of their hands and landed near Nina. So, I went to get them, but I slipped on some liquid. Then I slid into a broom closet - by the way, why do we have a broom closet? - and when the mold moved forward the door closed on me! So, I was stuck in there for a while."

"Well, it looked like you got eaten," Reem stated sheepishly.

"It's alright," Ishizu said patting Reem's back. "Now, everyone, why don't you come to the medical room. I'll get everyone examined. Then we can go and clean up the ship."

Everyone was back to their original stations after the examination, with the exception of Marik, who need more treatment. The blob had done much worse to the ship then anyone had expected. There were no lazer guns left, and many of the walls were eaten along with a big chuck of the controls. The ship was in bad condition.

Tea looked around at all the people in the meeting room. "Okay, here's what we're going to do. There's a station just a few Light Years away from here, so we're going to stop there to get the ship fixed, and for some supplies. Any questions?"

"Where did Pegasus go?" Joey asked. "I thought he made all the decisions here? He is the captain, right?"

"Well, there was a little, thing that happened," Tea said playing with her fingers. "He had something to attend to."

"Where's Kaiba?" Diana asked.

"Uh, well you see," Tea said, playing even more with her fingers. "It's kind of, well top secret. You know?"

"No."

Tea sighed. "Alright it has to do with - !"

The door behind Tea opened, then slammed shut as an angry Kaiba stormed into the room, mumbling miscellaneous curses to himself.

"Where were you?" AMK asked.

Kaiba just walked over to the wall and leaned against it, arms crossed, still mumbling to himself.

"Was it that bad?" Tea asked.

Kaiba glared at Tea. "What do you think?"

Tea sighed. "Well, we'll all be getting out when we reach the station. Remember, we might be there for a while."

"How long?" Joey asked.

Tea shook her head. "I don't know."

The station was mammoth. Ships were docked all around it, making it hard for the odd Heart-Shaped ship to find a place to squeeze in. Some people were outside on small Space Mopeds fixing some of the ships.

"You guys ready?" Serenity asked in front of the door to the inside of the station. "This is it."

"Yeah, we're ready," AMK said.

Reem squealed excitedly. "My first station!"

The doors slowly opened.

"Welcome," a guy said moving his arms toward the inside. "Please come in and enjoy your stay."

"Wow," Joey said, gaping at the station. "Dit's huge!"

The ceiling went ten stories high decorated with many pictures of Space. In the middle was a large chandelier providing light to the whole place. Shops lined the walls and people walked around talking about miscellaneous things.

Yami looked around. "Well, what are we waiting for?" He questioned. "Lets look around."

"Yeah!" AMK cried. "Shopping!"

Ryou nodded, looking at AMK.

"Lets go an have some fun!" Joey cried striking weird pose. He paused as no one said anything. "Guys?" He turned around.

No one was there.

"You guys aren't goin' ta have fun witout me!" Joey cried running out into the crowd. "Guys!"

All of them split up going their separate ways, agreeing to meet back below the chandelier in two hours.

Joey looked around, being the only one to go in that store. It was full of little things, and seemed pretty bare, him being the only one in.

The man's eyes stared at him, before trailing down to his pocket. His eyes had an intense hunger for what was inside the pocket. "Ho-how may I help you?" He asked never taking his eyes off Joey's pocket.

Joey didn't notice the man's crazed stare and walked right up to him. "Do ya have a Tictac?"

"What flavor?" The man asked. "We have all kinds. Winterfresh, Mint -"

"Um, how 'bout Winterfresh?" Joey asked.

"If you buy this, I'll give you the second half off," the man said eagerly.

"Okay," Joey said obliviously.

The wheels in the man's mind turned as he noticed the blank expression on his customer - no, prey. "If you buy a bag of Chips, you can get the second half off as well."

"Okay."

"And, you can buy a Space Lotto Ticket," the man added quickly. "You might have a chance to win ten thousand dollars."

"Really?" This peeked Joey's interest. "Um, how 'bout you give me, two of dem."

"How about fifty?" The man questioned. He knew he was asking for to much. Even the most oblivious person would see what he was doing. There was no chance that his customer would -

"Sure."

The man couldn't believe his hears. He was finally going to make some money, off this bloke. "You know, if you buy fifty Space Lotto Tickets you can get -"

AMK had grabbed Reem, who had grabbed Yami, who had grabbed the first person beside him, Serenity, and took her around the station to look at some of the stuff they were selling. Ryou, had followed willingly, having not been grabbed by anyone.

"Wow! This is sooo cool!" Reem cried holding up a miniature lazer gun, for putting Salt and Pepper in. "How do they come up with this stuff?"

Serenity picked up a pencil sharpener. "It's cute."

AMK smiled, before something caught her eyes. "Look! They even have hair-color dye!" She ran over to the bottles and picked one up. "You can color your hair green!"

"Weird," Reem murmured.

"I want to dye my hair blue!" Serenity stated.

"Let see what other colors they have," AMK said, before starting to dig through the piles of hair dye.

Yami, who didn't want to get near the store Reem, AMK, Serenity and Ryou were in, walked over to the store nearby. "'Everything you need for cooking'," he read out loud. "Sounds like my kind of store." He hummed silently to himself as he walked in.

Ryou just stood at the entrance, occasionally picking stuff up to look at, but his gaze never traveled far from AMK.

AMK could feel someone watching her, and she felt nervous about it. "Hey, lets go over there. I think I saw some cute Stuffed Animals!"

"Really?" Reem asked. "I love Stuffed Animals!"

AMK smiled. "This way."

Ryou saw AMK disappear behind the wall. He quickly leaned forward, trying to see if he could find her, but bumped into someone in the process. "I'm sorry!"

Tea smiled. "It's alright." She paused as if wondering if she should ask something. "Um, Ryou? What are you doing in a girls store?"

Ryou blinked once. "Huh?"

"Um, the sign says 'Just for girls'," Tea recited. "Haven't you noticed how everything is so pink and girly?"

Ryou paused to give the store a good look, to find that Tea was right. It had a kind of lacing following the top of the store, that were pink, and the whole store, was painted pink. "Uh."

Tea's eyes widened. "Oh, my gosh! I don't believe it!" She put her hands up to her chest. "I always knew."

Ryou cocked his head, slightly. "Knew what?"

"You were gay!" Tea exclaimed.

"What?" Ryou asked, horrified, eyes slightly bulging. "I-I'm not gay!"

"It's alright," Tea said putting her arm around Ryou. "Denial is always the first step in realizing it."

"Bu-but I'm not-!"

"Shh," Tea said putting her finger up to Ryou's mouth. "I won't tell anyone. Your secret is safe with me. Now, come on, I'll take you to some other girl stores."

Ryou mumbled and stuttered as Tea steered him away from the store. He shot one last frantic look back at the store, before Tea had turned the corner, with him.

The man looked at the boy. "Are you going to buy anything?" He questioned. "You've been standing here for an hour!"

Yugi continued to drool over the lazer guns. He would buy it, if he had money. He had begged Kaiba to lend him some, but it had failed.

"Jeez, if you aren't going to buy any, please leave," the man stated. "There are other people in line!"

Yugi snapped out of his daze to look behind him. A dozen angry people were staring at him, waiting to purchase their item. "I guess I'll go. . . To the back of the line!"

The man let out an exasperated sigh. "Not again. . . ."

Everyone met back at the main room after their two hours were up. Everyone was happily chatting with one another telling them about where they went, except for Ryou, who was desperately trying to get away from Tea.

Joey grumbled as he walked up to the crew, many plastic bags in his hands. "Hey dere," he mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Serenity asked.

"I went to dis shop and I dink he conned me into buying dis stuff," Joey mumbled, lifting up the bags so they could see. "I'm completely broke!"

"What did you buy?" Mai asked.

"Lets see," Joey said, trying to remember. "I bough' fifty packs of gum, twenty bags of Chip, forty-five Hershey candy bars, fifty Space Lotto Tickets and -" he paused to think. "Sixty-five Tictac's."

"I'll take the gum off your hands!" AMK pipped up.

"I'll take a few Hershey candy bars," Reem said.

A few people shouted, "Free stuff", before they pounced on him trying to grab certain items from the bags. After a while, there was nothing left in Joey's bags, but Tictac's.

"How come none of ya wanted dese?" Joey asked holding up a Winterfresh flavor. "I bough' a lot of dem."

"I don't like Tictac's," Yugi said, munching on his Hershey bar.

"Same here."

"Yeah."

"Where are the Space Lotto Tickets?" Diana asked looking into one of the bags.

"I'm ain't giving dose up!" Joey cried. "Dey say deir goin' ta announce da numbers tonight. I hope I win something, like da dollar."

"Honey, I doubt it," Mai stated. "But, you can dream."

Joey gave a sharp glare.

"Well, I guess we can head back to the ship for now," Yami said. "I'll prepare us something to eat."

"I guess," Reem said, holding a bag of her own. "To dinner!"

"To dinner!" Everyone cried.

Everyone walked toward the ship, some snacking on their candy, talking to each other. Yami took all the orders before they got on the ship and a few people asked for something 'special'.

When they reached the ship Kaiba, Ishizu and Pegasus was talking to a worker. Pegasus didn't seemed bothered and was drinking his Wine, Ishizu was trying to stop Kaiba, who was red and yelling at the guy.

"What's wrong?" Tea asked going into the front of the group. "Is everything alright?"

Kaiba immediately stopped yelling at the guy, who was now cowering behind his dirty towel. "They say that the ship won't be fixed until tomorrow!"

Tea paused before turning toward the crew. "You don't mind staying another day do you?"

"No," Reem said smiling. "I would love to come back here tomorrow!"

"We don't mind," Diana and Mai agreed simultaneously. They both looked at each other with devilish grins.

"Yeah, we can wait," AMK said. "Can we at least go inside?"

The worker slowly put his head above the towel and nodded. "Yeah, it should be find to walk around in, but it just can't leave."

"Alright, I guess I'll start making dinner," Yami said walking past everyone. "It will be done in fifteen minutes."

Pegasus gave a hiccup. "If any of you want to speak with me I'll be in my room." He picked up his bottle and stroked it. "With my sweet darling."

Kaiba rolled his eyes. "I guess I'll get something to eat." Shooting one last glance at the worker he walked in with the rest of them."

They all sat in a round table talking to each other talking while they ate. Yami had made their meals in fifteen minutes, providing some entertainment for them while they waited ( watching him run around trying to make sure that all the food wasn't going to be burnt ).

"So," Kaiba said nabbing his mouth with the napkin. "Where did all of you go on the station?"

"I went to 'Just for girls'," Reem replied excitedly. "I went with AMK, Yami and Serenity. They had all sorts of cute stuff!"

"Yeah, I liked the stuffed animals," AMK smiled.

"I went to dis horrible place!" Joey cried. "Dey stole all my money."

"I went to the a Cooking shop," Yami said. "After they," he pointed toward the three girls, "went into their store."

"I went to the lazer gun store!" Yugi said munching happily on his food.

"I walked around," Tea said, giving a wink to Ryou, who just sunk back into his chair, trying to hide from her and everyone else.

Mai and Diana grinned at each other. "We just looked around." They both giggled.

"Interesting," Kaiba muttered.

"Yeah!" Joey cried looking at the time. "Dits time ta announce who got da winning ticket!" He made a mad leap toward the controller and turned the TV on.

The TV flickered, then showed a man who was holding up a ball. "Number forty-eight. That is the second ball. Fifty-nine, forty-eight. Lets see the next number." The man pressed the lever to the machine and the balls flew inside it.

Joey looked at all his tickets to see if the numbers matched.

"Number twenty-two!" The man continued. "So, that's fifty-nine, forty-eight, and twenty-two! Next is - Nine!"

Joey desperately looked threw all fifty of his tickets.

"Anndddddd," the man picked up the last ball. "The last number is -sixteen! So, the numbers are: Fifty-nine, forty-eight, twenty-two, nine and sixteen. Remember, if you have the winning Space Lotto Ticket, you could win ten thousand dollars!"

"So, did you win?" Diana asked, watching Joey go threw all fifty of his tickets.

"Last one," Joey mumbled throwing the forty-ninth ticket carelessly on the ground. He mumbled the numbers to himself as he read the ticket.

"Just as I though," Mai said. "You didn't win."

"Yipeee!!!!"

Everyone stared at him.

"I got all the numbers!"

Mai's jaw dropped. "What?"

"See?" Joey held up the ticket. "Fifty-nine, forty-eight, twenty-two, nine and sixteen! The numbers are here!"

"What luck," Serenity muttered.

Joey rubbed the ticket on his cheek. "Mine."

After they ate, everyone headed toward their rooms to sleep, muttering 'goodnights' to everyone.

Joey smiled at the ticket in his hand. "I'll have to make sure that I don't lose you." Smiling he turned off the light.

A few minutes after Joey's snores could be heard, and silent person entered his room. Stalking around the bed she reached into Joey's coat pocket and looked around, but what she was looking for, wasn't here. Cursing slightly she started walking around.

"Hey! What are you doing?!"

The girl jumped up and turned to face Joey, but he was still sound asleep.

"You forgot to put chocolate filling in the doughnut!" Joey turned to the opposite side mumbling again.

The girl sighed heavily and started walking toward Joey's drawers.

Another girl entered, with the same thing in her mind. Noticing competition, she quickly went to the other side of the first girl and looked around.

They were soon joined by another girl, who had the same idea as the first. All wanting to be the one to find it, they frantically went threw everything in Joey's room. . . . .

The next day came and everyone gathered in the food room. But three girls were exceptionally tired.

Mai yawned as she grabbed the plate from Yami, followed by Diana and Tea. They had turned Joey's room inside out to find that ticket, but in the end, time had caught up with them, before they found it.

Joey cheerfully walked in and grabbed a plate from Yami.

"So, where did you keep the ticket?" Mai asked, not carrying if she was to obvious.

"I slept with dit," Joey smiled. "And dit never moved."

The three women looked at each other with a disgusting look on their faces.

"The ship will be done soon," Pegasus's voice said on the intercom. Sightly hiccuping, he continued, "If you want to make one more trip in the station I suggest you do it soon, 'cause we're leaving in about twenty minutes."

"Man, I guess I won't be able ta splurge here," Joey stated. "But, I guess I can always pick my money up."

"I'll help," Diana said slyly.

"Thanks," Joey said, ditching his food. "I'm off ta da wizard! Da wonderful wizard of Oz!"

Joey had sang that song the whole way, and it was starting to drive Diana nuts. But, at least she could try and get some of the money out of Joey's hands.

They entered the store called 'Space Lotto Ticket Rewards' and walked over to the desk.

"'Cuse me," Joey said, waving over the person behind the counter. "I have da winning ticket and I've come ta collect my prize."

The man eyed the ticket carefully before smiling. "You're one lucky man!" He ducked underneath the counter and punched in a code to the safe. "Here's your ten thousand." The man gave a big bag to Joey. "Enjoy."

"Wow, ten thousand!" Joey cried happily. "I can't wait ta spend it!"

Diana nodded, somewhat unhappy that the money was all in a big bag.

When the two had reached the ship everyone was gathered around a man in a suit. He had Kaiba seemed to have a heated argument going.

"What's goin' on?" Joey asked reaching the front of the crowd.

"Apparently the job costs ten thousand," AMK reported. "We don't have that kind of money."

"Ya mean we might lose da ship?" Joey asked.

Kaiba threw another carefully planned insult at the manager, before noticing Joey, who was talking to AMK, holding the bag. With a quick snatch the bag was out of Joey's hands, into his. "Here's your money."

The manager smiled. "I knew you would come threw." He walked off, cowering workers behind him.

Joey looked in horror as his money was taken off with the manager. "Why did ya jus' do? Dat was my money!"

Kaiba looked down at Joey. "Now it's his. Would you have prefured it if we stayed here until the Commander sent us another ship?"

"Yeah!" Tea cried. "After all, this is my ship!"

"But it was my money!" Joey cried.

"It's alright," Diana said putting an arm around Joey and moving him into the ship with everyone else. "There's always next time right?"

Joey sniffed once. "I guess."
