Chapter five: Planet Mirror

The planet glowed beautifully even in the darkness of space. A kind of gloss appeared to be around it, and everything, even the tiniest light, that hit it become a spectacular light show.

No one was around to watch it, however, for no one was in the bridge. All of them had retreated to their headquarters, the kitchen, checking out the odd broom closet that had just mysteriously appeared one day, or some random spot.

“Oooooohhhhh,” Serenity moaned, holding her stomach. “I ate to much of Joey’s candy.” She leaned against Mai, who was having the same trouble. “What came over us?”

“It was either eat, or have Yugi eat it for us,” Mai stated, grabbing her newly bought purse. “Yugi is still eating too. I seriously don’t know where he puts it.”

“Do you have any Gas-X?” Serenity asked, noticing that Mai now had the pretty pink purse. “It might really help us out.”

Diana looked at Yugi, who was currently sucking on a lollipop. She had been struggling to get up for the past few minutes, but finally got the power to overcome the chocolate. Getting up slowly, she walked out of the room to try and find someone to harass.

“I dunno,” Mai said, finding a mirror in her purse, which she immediately started looking at herself with. “Hmm, I think I need to put more lipstick on.”

Serenity rolled her eyes. “Guess you don’t have any Gas-X.”

Diana headed down the hallway searching for something, or someone. They all seemed to have disappeared off somewhere; eating candy probably.

She found someone who had wedged himself in a dark corner desperately rubbing his face. Diana headed over to him and poked him on the shoulder.

Ryou jumped with surprise and spun around tensely, but relaxed when he found Diana. “Oh, hi.” He stood up to be eye level with her and she found that patches of his face were red as if he had rubbed something off. “I don’t think we’ve ever truly introduced ourselves to each other. I’m Ryou.”

“Diana,” she said shifting her gaze down the hall. “Look, I’ll cut to the chase, a horrible creature is coming and if you don’t let me molest you it won’t spare your life.”

Ryou blinked. “Excuse me?”

“Ahah!” Tea jumped out from some random place she had been hiding. “I just proved that your gay! You just refused an offer from a perfectly good looking woman to molest you! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!”

Ryou had the, what is wrong with all of you, look. “Ummmm, look a gay guy and someone to molest!” He pointed past the two girls.

Both girls looked with high hopes in the direction he had pointed, to only see that there was no one there. They had been fooled.

“Very funny,” Tea said turning back to where Ryou had been, to find that he had also disappeared. “You! I will get you!”

Diana poked Tea in the arm. “Excuse me, do you know where Joey is? Or any other good looking guy?”

“Joey’s in the Engine room,” Tea said. “I’m sure they’ll let you in.” She turned back to where she had last seen Ryou. “I will get youuuu!” She let out a war cry before running down the hallway.

Diana grinned as she walked toward the Engine room. He would never know what hit him, or rather, what touched him. . .

While there was many different things happening on the upper part of the ship, there was something quite different happening underneath. The shuttle pod was getting ready for launch, and they were going over the final preparations.

AMK was smiling happily as she looked at the ‘secret’ gun they had given her in case something bad happened. ( Despite its’ name, it was a very large gun that the only way to hide it made a big bulge ) The reason she was so happy was because this was her second time going down on the shuttle pod, her second mission. It made her feel special.

Marik was grumbling next to her about having to go down to the planet. Of course, it was obvious he didn’t want to stay on board, he was just doing it for the sake of complaining.

Apparently, when Serenity was talking to one of the people at the station she had received a small tip that there was a planet near by. One that showed ones reflection through thousands of mirrors, the planet called ‘Planet Mirror’. They assumed it was the place the clue was talking about, so they were heading down to check it out.

The shuttle pod was about ready to launch. All the mechanisms were inside, and all the supplies were safely packed. The only thing that was left was for the people to board and to head out toward the seemingly glass planet.

“Is everyone ready?” Kaiba asked, near the shuttle pod door. “Alright, then everyone get aboard and we can get this over with.”

There was a mad scramble as Marik, AMK, Yami, and Reem headed inside. It was slightly cramped, but had room for one more person before it reached the point where no one could breathe.

“Wait Kaiba-boy,” Pegasus said, swaying toward them Red Wine in hand.

Kaiba shoved himself inside. “Hurry, lets take off before he gets here.” He grabbed the door and tried to close it, but was stopped by Pegasus.

“Did you forget what I said earlier?” Pegasus asked, holding the door with one hand. “Or was it, yesterday? Or a few minutes ago?” He moved the door back and forth as he swayed.

“Just close the damn door,” Kaiba growled and attempted to grab the door, but missed due to the fact it moved upward at that moment. “I can take care of it myself.”

“No you can’t,” Pegasus stated taking another swig of Wine. “I told you I will be watching your every move. If you blink, I’ll notice. If you pee I will be near the bathroom door - ” He paused. “I know I was going somewhere with this . .”

Kaiba had a confused and slightly disturbed look on his face. The others in the shuttle pod had the same look, though a few of them couldn’t hear anything and were just trying not to get squished.

“Oh yes, I remember now,” Pegasus said, taking another swig of Wine. “I will be supervising every mission.”

“You’re not fit,” Kaiba growled.

“I am to fit!” Pegasus swayed a little to far back almost causing him to fall, but the supply man stopped him from hitting the ground. “You can’t, hic, say that about me.”

“You’re needed here,” Kaiba said, trying to find better facts now. “What will the ship do without the Captain?”

“There’s Tea,” Reem piped in trying to get into a more comfortable position. “Wasn’t this originally her ship anyway?”

Kaiba looked as though he was going to shoot Reem.

“Listen to the young lady,” Pegasus said pushing Kaiba aside and heading into the shuttle pod with his Red Wine. “Off we go.” He closed the door and there was a few gasps for air.

The shuttle pod was off toward the planet where they hoped they would receive their next clue. They hoped that nothing would go wrong, and maybe, just maybe, they would be one step closer to finding the weapon and saving the galaxy.

The landing was rough, due to the fact there were so many people inside, and no one could find where the right buttons were. They had skidded for several minutes before finally coming to a stop near a village.

It took them another few minutes to get out, and even longer to get all the supplies they needed. Once they were done with the necessities they were able to stop and look around.

Everything looked like glass; a window with their reflection staring back at them. Even the ground was a mirror that looked almost impossible to break.

“I can’t wait to see what the village is going to be like!” Reem cried excitedly. “This is going to be so much fun!”

Yami on the other hand was trying to get a cotton ball off his head. “It won’t get off,” he whimpered, before starting to run around in circles as if somehow it would help his situation. “The cotton ball is sticking to something sticky that’s sticking to meeee!! Someone get it off me!”

AMK paused as she suddenly realized that there wasn’t anything in her mouth. “What happened to my gum? I could have sworn I was chewing some when I went into the shuttle pod . . .”

Pegasus was holding his bottle of Wine against his chest. “Kaiba-boy, lets get going. We probably don’t want to stay very, hic, long here.”

“If you would just help with the supplies,” Kaiba growled, holding most of the devices they had brought. “Would you carry some of this stuff?”

“Sorry, but I’m already carrying something very important.” Pegasus rubbed his face against the cold bottle. “If only I had my favorite comic.”

Marik picked up what was left of the supplies that Kaiba hadn’t gotten. “Why does this always end up happening? Everything that can go wrong goes wrong.”

AMK sighed. Would that guy ever shut up? With a sudden evil grin, she walked over to him and placed some gum in his hair. “Have a very sticky day. Wahahaha!” She ran off carrying one of the supply bags.

Marik cried out in anguish. “Noooo! Not my hair!”

In the background, Yami was still running it that circle trying to get the cotton ball of his head. Marik had now joined Yami in running around in circles yanking at his own hair.

AMK smiled happily again. Chaos, lovely chaos.

The village was as beautiful as everything else, if not more. All the buildings looked like glass and were completely spotless. Everyone that had walked past them was carrying some kind of mirror with them and quite a few had scary looks in their faces.

The group had asked many people about the clue they had received. Pegasus had said it was a delicate situation but he always interrogated the people they met claiming that they knew what he was talking about.

The first person they had meet completely blew them off, and had to end up running away from Pegasus who chased him down the road. The second person was a little friendlier, but it was Yami who chased her away the that time, demanding for her to take the cotton ball of his forehead. They made no progress since then.

Yami growled as he continued to yank at the cotton ball which had long since become a few specks on his forehead. “Why won’t it let go?”

“Here, let me help.” Reem got in front of Yami and started pulling at the sticky cotton ball. “Amost -” she put her feet on his chest in attempt to pull harder.

Yami let out a muffled cry.

Near the back of the dysfunctional group was Pegasus, who was currently looking at himself in one of the buildings. He puffed out his chest and held the Red Wine near himself. “Do you think I need some man makeup?”

“There’s only woman makeup,” AMK stated, turning around to face Pegasus. “They just use it for men as well, when they go in front of the camera.”

“No, they have man makeup,” Pegasus said with a frown. “Men don’t wear girls makeup. They have their own special different kind.”

“They don’t make that kind of makeup,” AMK replied, trying to convince Pegasus otherwise. “There’s only girls makeup.”

“There’s man makeup!” Pegasus cried, pausing only to take a sip of wine. “I’m telling you - oh! Makeup store.” He started walking across the street swaying back and forth.

AMK shook her head. She was not going to follow him, he was just impossible.

“AMK, follow him,” Kaiba stated paying little attention to the tipsy man that was now entering the store. “I’ll come find you later.”

“You can’t do that to me!” AMK cried. “Who gives you the jurisdiction?”

“Me.”

“You suck,” AMK mumbled. “Fine, but I’m taking Marik with me.” She grabbed Marik and started dragging him across the street.

“What did I do?” Marik questioned. “Why me?”

Back on the ship nothing much had changed. It continued to orbit the planet, the people inside waiting for a call from the group they had sent down.

Diana moved around the Engine room trying not to get caught in the many different pointing objects that were protruding out. She had been following Joey for the past hour, but he had long since found out what she was trying to do.

Joey put some odd liquid in one of the contraptions making it make a sputtering sound. Placing the empty bottle on a stool he turned to Diana. “How long - huh?” He paused and looked around, trying to find the girl that he had seen just a few seconds ago. “Where’d she go?”

Diana continued to hold a piece of wire in front of her head. She hadn’t thought it would work, standing half way behind one of the machines holding one wire in front of her, but apparently she was proven wrong.

Joey had a blank look. “Guess she left. Maybe she foun’ anuther guy ta bother or sumthin’.” He moved on to a generator and began taking notes. “I wunder where Ryou went . .”

Sighing heavily, Diana moved the wire away and started stalking toward where Joey was, but found that she was stopped by something. She looked back to see that one the of the pointy things that had been sticking out had caught her shirt.

She desperately tried to yank her shirt off of the object, but it didn’t work. Trying the other approach, she tried to take it out carefully; it didn’t work either.

To make things worse, the machine activated and the object started moving slowly upward, pushing Diana toward it.

Diana let out a scream and started running forwards, but the object was holding on tightly to her shirt. Her back was almost touching the object - RIP!

She stumbled forward, slightly confused. Looking back at the pointy object she noticed that her shirt was still attached to it.

“Hey, what’s goin’ on over ‘ere?” Joey asked, coming around the corner into sight. He froze when he saw her.

Diana looked down and her shirtless chest ( the only thing she had on at that moment was a bra ) then back up at Joey. “Urrrhhhhhh. Do you like?”

Joey still had that blank look on his face.

AMK looked outside, longing in her eyes. All she wanted to do was disappear out there and go far away from Pegasus, but it wasn’t going to happen.

Pegasus was now trying on some of the ‘man’ makeup which happened to be bright pink. His eyes were already highlighted blue, and his cheeks were rapidly becoming rosy.

Marik was currently trying to escape some of the girls who wanted to put makeup on him. Every once in a while he would swing the bag he had at them, but it usually only worked for a few seconds before they were pouncing at him again.

“Mine as well make the best of it,” AMK stated. Turning back toward the shop, she grinned evilly again. Grabbing a pack of gum from her pocket she put some in her mouth. She would make it fun.

Screams erupted from the little makeup shop a few minutes later and all the costumers ran out with gum in their hair. Unfortunately, the employees weren’t as lucky, and AMK, Marik and Pegasus had to run out of there before the police came.

“That was fun!” AMK cried happily, now far away from the police and the shop. “Lets do that again!”

Marik eyed her. “Again? Again? We almost got arrested and who knows what they do to prisoners here!”

Pegasus was sulking in the background with his Red Wine. He hadn’t been able to buy any of the makeup, but at least he still had some of the blush and eye shadow on.

“Yeah!” AMK said getting hyped up. “Though, I need to find a shop to load back up on gum. I used it all up in there.”

Marik sighed heavily. He just prayed Kaiba would come and get them soon, for who knows what other trouble AMK could cause.

Kaiba frowned as the person he just talked to walked off in a huff. They hadn’t even come close to what they were looking for, and no one seemed to want to talk to them.

Yami was rubbing his forehead where the gum had been taken off, as well as a chunk of skin. “Where are we going to go next?”

“How about that store?” Reem asked, pointing toward a small shop near them. It to was glass, but had the sign ‘Answers to all of your questions’ on it.

Kaiba just stared at it with shock. What kind of shop had that kind of name? “Fine.” He gave in and walked behind Reem as she happily skipped inside.

It was unusually dark inside despite the mirror walls. There was a single lamp in the middle on top of a stool and in the far back was a man sitting in front of a desk.

“How may I help you?” The man asked in a mysterious voice. He was wearing a clock with a hood, hiding his face.

“We’re looking for a clue,” Kaiba said, feeling slightly foolish. “The first clue we received, we believe told us to go here, it’s about -”

“The item of destruction?” The man asked, holding his hand above ( you guessed it ) a glass ball. “You’re searching for the next clue to become one step closer to finding the weapon, are you not?”

“Wow!” Reem cried in a amazement. “How did you know?”

“The ball reveals all.”

“Really?” Reem walked up to the man and picked up the ball up inspecting it carefully. “I want one! That would be so cool!”

“It’s very delicate!” The man cried, getting up to try and snatch it away from Reem. “Be careful with it!”

“Wait I know you,” Yami stated getting closer to try and see the guy better. “Your that guy who was always selling gag gifts.”

“Uhhhh, I did do that a while ago, but now that part of my life is over.” He nodded his head, hood still covering his features. “Now I’m a psychic!”

Kaiba rolled his eyes. “You don’t become a psychic overnight you know. Why don’t you go back to doing what you used to do.”

“But how did you know that we were looking for the thingy?” Reem asked, putting the glass ball down. “I mean, we weren’t talking about it or anything.”

“See, I told you I was psychic,” the man stated in triumph. “In fact I know where you can find the clue your searching for.”

“This better not be a trick,” Kaiba growled.

“I assure you that the clue will be in the dark rock outside of this town,” the man said. “Now, what I want in return is -”

“Alright, lets go to the rock,” Kaiba said walking out of the shop. “Thanks for the clue to find the clue.”

“Wait! You can’t!” The man sighed as the door closed. Maybe he should stick to making gag gifts.

There was a angry group of people in the kitchen. All of them were holding up knives and forks yelling at the substitute cook to give them their food.

Ishizu worked mercilessly trying to get all the different orders done. Silently she wondered why they didn’t have the machine that spat out the food like all the other ships did, and had a broom closet instead.

Placing the food on plates she quickly handed them out to the people. It didn’t take long for the mob of people to sit down and start eating. She had done her job well.

A guy in the background spat out the food and brought his hands to his neck. A chocking sound came from his mouth as he doubled over.

A girl ran up to him and checked his food. “There’s some kind of poison in here. The cook is trying to kill us!”

Ishizu ducked underneath the ordering counter looking around, trying to find what may have caused the guy to choke. She found it; an empty bottle that looked a lot like a Rats Poison bottle on the counter that she had obviously mistaken for seasoning.

The angry mob was back even angrier then before, if that was possible. A few were trying to get over the counter, while others were just watching the people, who were trying to get over, with amusement.

Ishizu started crawling toward the back door that was there in case of emergencies. Where was Yami?

Joey entered the kitchen with Diana. He was finished in the Engine room, and now he needed fuel for himself.

Diana was walking next to him, a replacement shirt on. Her other shirt had been long since lost in the many different machines.

They were surprised to find a mob in the kitchen and a guy in the background who was choking. A few of the people had pitch forks and were trying to stab something or someone behind the counter.

“Wha’s goin’ on ‘ere?” Joey asked, walking up to the angry people. “Did ya not get what ya wanted?”

“No,” one of the people said turning away from the counter to face Joey. “The substitute cook is trying to kill is.”

“Ooohhhh.” Joey nodded his head, trying to absorb what they had told him. Pausing, he dug in his pocket and brought out a small plastic container. “Wanna tic tac instead?”

The mob of people turned away from the counter and toward Joey. All of their eyebrows were narrowed.

“Get him!” One of the people cried, lifting the pitch fork high in the air. “He’s in league with the substitute cook!”

“AHH!!” Joey grabbed Diana and ran out of the kitchen to find someplace to hide, to get away from the people.

The mob of people had long since forgotten about Ishizu and had started running after Joey and Diana screaming miscellaneous things at them. All of the pitchforks were raised high in the air, and those who didn’t have them, had forks in their place. They were on a hunt for Joey

AMK happily walked out of the store holding two full plastic bags of gum. She had reloaded, and she had the perfect idea on what to do with them.

Marik eyed her suspiciously as she began to roll up some paper and tape it together with duct tape. “What are you doing?”

AMK quickly made another paper roll and handed it to Marik. “Here, watch.” She moved the gum to the tip of her tongue and blew has hard as she could into the paper roll.

The gum flew high over a building and out of sight. There was an ‘ARGH’ on the other side, telling them that it had hit a target.

Marik looked oddly at the gum and the paper roll. “I dunno, this isn’t my kind of way to attack people, but I guess I can try.” He used the paper tunnel to spit some gum out.

It didn’t land very far, but it hit a dog which immediately started trying to lick it off.

“Hey, this is kinda fun.”

“Told you,” AMK said, reloading her weapon. She spat out another piece of gum, which only landed near the building, in one of the employees hair.

Pegasus was currently drinking more Red Wine, watching the two of them get people with gum. “Try and get that person.” He pointed to a guy who was walking on the other side of the street looking at himself in a pocket mirror.

“Okay!” AMK aimed, and fired.

The gum missed its’ target by inches , and instead landed on one of the glass buildings. It stuck to the mirror like glue.

At once the police was at the seen studying the sight and trying to remove the gum. A few police officers dispatched and one headed over to them.

Marik gulped and hid all evidence that they had done it.

The police officer gave them a scary look. “Are you the ones who put the gum on the mirror wall? ‘Cause I’ll have you know that it’s a federal offence to cause any sort of damage to it.”

“Nope,” AMK said shaking her head. “We’ve been siting here the whole time. Though, that guy with the pocket mirror did walk buy that area . .”

“Get him!” The police officer pulled out a stun gun and tackled the guy.

“Ummm, I think we should get out of here,” Marik stated getting up. “What if they find out we actually did it?”

“You’re right.” AMK quickly grabbed the plastic bags and put the paper rolls in it. “Lets get away from the crime scene.”

Pegasus swayed to his feet and started walking after the two continuing to drink his Red Wine from the bottle.

It didn’t take them long to reach the other side of the village. At the end there weren’t any stores, but there were a few homes. There was a big black boulder at the edge of the village.

Marik poked the boulder. “How come it’s so black? Did someone paint it or something?”

AMK just hoped on it and stood up. “I am the tallest of the tall! Everyone shall bow bellow me. No one is taller then me!”

Some guy walked by who happened to be taller then she was even on the rock. He gave her a nasty glare.

“Aheh, aheh. Sorry.” AMK quickly sat down on the rock. “So much for that. No one here is fun, it sucks.”

Pegasus bent down looking at the rock. “There’s something there, hic.” He touched a small protrusion that was on the rock, making it go in.

The rock opened ‘causing AMK to fall inside. She landed with a thud at the bottom. “What in the world did you do that for? And why is tape recorder down here?”

“Bring it up,” Marik said, peering down into the small hole. “Maybe it has something interesting on it.”

“Okay!” AMK quickly brought her hand out to grab it, but only hit a mirror. “Uhhh.” She looked around her suddenly aware that mirrors were facing in all directions. “Kinda got a problem here.”

“What do you mean problem?” Marik asked.

“I need help,” AMK stated, attempting to grab the tape recorder again, only to collide with another mirror. “There’s to many mirrors here!”

“I’m coming!” Pegasus put his back to the boulder and leaned back, making the force of gravity pull him down.

Marik quickly grabbed Pegasus’s leg. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You’re going to get yourself killed!” He got a better grip and started pulling Pegasus back up.

“Stop doing that,” Pegasus said, making sure that his Red Wine wasn’t tipping over. “It tickles. Hahahahahaha!!!” He started moving his feet up and down.

“Hey! I’m going to -” Marik lost his footing as well and fell into the rock with Pegasus. “Great, now we’re all stuck down here!”

“What seems to be the problem young lady?” Pegasus asked, sitting with his Red Wine. “I don’t seem to see anything wrong.”

“Besides the fact we’re stuck in a rock!” Marik cried.

“Well, there’s mirrors all around us,” AMK stated, pointing toward the glass. “And I can’t figure out which one is the real tape recorder.”

“That’s it?” Marik asked. “I thought it was something more dire. It’s easy, see?” He moved toward a tape recorder, but hit the glass with is head. “Ow!?”

AMK stuck her tongue out at him. “I told you.”

“Well, lets think,” Marik said, forehead.

“Do you think it would work if we put gum on the mirrors?” AMK asked. “Then we’d know which ones not to smash into.”

“Okay,” Marik grabbed a stick of gum and placed it on the mirror he had just crashed into. “There can’t be to many mirrors down here.”

He couldn’t have been more wrong. It took them forever to put gum on every single mirror, but when they stepped back to see where the real tape recorder was, they found that every single area was marked.

“That doesn’t help now!” Marik cried. “Where the in Ra’s name is it?!”

Pegasus shifted uncomfortably. “I think I’m sitting on something.” He moved and lifted up a black tape recorder. “No wonder I felt something big underneath me.”

AMK looked oddly at the tape recorder. “Umm, I guess it was near me all along. Aheh, aheh.” Ignoring the look Marik was giving her, she grabbed the tape out of Pegasus’s hand. “Lets listen to it!”

The play button was pressed.

There was static at first, then a voice could be heard. “Is this working? Testing, one, two three. Helllooooooo????? CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME???!!!!!”

There was another voice in the background. “Moron, it’s a tape recorder! What do you expect? To hear someone on the other side?”

“Urrhhh, I guess you’re right. Okay, for the clue. . . . Is it still on record?”

“These guys aren’t to bright,” Marik stated, shaking his head at the tape recorder.

“You’re one to talk,” AMK retorted, with a evil smirk.

“Hey!”

“It has been called many things: Hell, underworld, and a few that I can’t remember at the moment. It is there where you will be greeted by the ruler of the underworld and he will give you your next clue. But where is he? Wahahaha! You’re just going to find out now won’t you? And, don’t listen to the rumors!” It clicked off.

“Okay, that was weird.” Marik picked up the tape recorder. “I guess we unintentionally found the thing Kaiba, Reem, and Yami were looking for.”

AMK swiped it from Mariks grasp and put it in her pocket. “Alright, lets get out of here now before this rock closes up or something.”

A shadow moved into their view - a head. “Who’s down there?” Kaiba’s voice called down. “Pegasus?”

“Don’t forget me and Marik!” AMK cried. “Now help us up, we’re stuck down here. Oh and we also got the next clue!”

“What?!”

“What’s going on?” Yami asked coming up to the hole. “Hey, why is AMK, Marik, and Pegasus down there?”

Kaiba shook his head. “We need to get them out. I think there’s some rope in the supply bags I have.” He bent down to look through them.

Reem walked up to the rock. “Huh? Why is AMK, Marik, and Pegasus down there? Why is the rock open???? Why is the rock bllacckkk?????”

Kaiba rolled his eyes and threw the rope he had found just seconds ago down into the hole. “Here, grab on. We’ll pull you up.”

AMK grabbed on first and was quickly pulled up. Pegasus went next and they had to tie the rope around his waist because he refused to hold the rope with two hands; Marik was last.

“Here’s the tape,” AMK said, holding out the recorder. “But I’ll only give it to you if you promise me to buy me a whole plastic bag full of gum.”

“Just give it to me,” Kaiba growled trying to get the recorder out of AMKs’ hands. “I already did a good deed: I helped you out of the hole.”

“You have to promise to buy me a bag of gum.”

“No!”

“Yes!”

&ldqu o;No!”

“Uhhh, guys?” Marik said, poking both AMK and Kaiba on the shoulder. “Guys? The police is coming toward us.”

Kaiba blinked and turned around. There were several police cars and a few police officers were near them.

“Wow, I’ve never seen a police officer up close before!” Reem cried excitedly. “I wonder what’s going on?”

“We have everything caught on tape,” one of the police officers stated, holding up a tape. “You throwing gum at the mirror walls and you opening the rock. You will be put in jail for forty years!”

“Isn’t that a little harsh?” Yami asked.

“You just got yourself two years in jail,” the police officer stated holding up a few pairs of handcuffs. “Now come with me.”

A piece of gum was shot onto the tape.

“Now you don’t have any evidence,” AMK stated sticking her tongue out at him. “The tapes destroyed.”

“There are other copies,” the police officer stated eyeing her oddly.

“Ohhh,” AMK said. “That’s to bad . . . Look! The guy with the pocket mirror is doing some kind of weird federal offence!”

“Get him!” The police officer cried grabbing the stun gun and tackling the guy again.

“Run for it!” AMK cried grabbing some of the bags Kaiba and put down. “Before they come back!”

There was a mad scramble as everyone grabbed miscellaneous things and ran toward where they hoped the shuttle pod was. Pegasus on the other hand, leisurely walked after them sipping his Red Wine.

+_+

Joey and Diana hid in the broom closet, huddling against each other. The people had been looking for them non stop ever since they had ran out of the kitchen, and a few times their hiding spot had almost bee discovered. It was only a matter of time now.

“We’re going to die here,” Diana said looking at the dark shadows on the other side of the door signaling that someone was walking buy. “Can I molest you one more time before it happens?”

Joey blinked. “Wanna tic tac?”

There were voices on the other side of the door. “We’ll get you tic tac fiend. Um, killer of mobs, annndddd runner awayer!”

Someone else spoke next and there was a thuwmp as if someone was it hit over the head. “Moron! You can stop calling out miscellaneous things!”

“Ohh, sorry.”

There were more thuds, then the door opened and a few angry faces peered down at them. “We found you! Now you shall pay for what - um - for what happened!”

“What’s going on here?” Yami was standing near the door hands on his hips. “I get back and this is what I find? Where did you get those pitch forks?”

“Uhhh, we just saw them laying down,” a girl said quickly. “And, we’re trying to have pay back on him because our substitute cook tried to poison us and he offered us a tic tac!”

Yami blinked. “I’m not going to have any part in this. I’ve had enough for one day. Good luck Joey.” He walked off toward the kitchen, Reem happily walking next to him.

“Uh-oh, there goes my last shot of getting out of here,” Joey said watching in horror as Yami turned the corner. “Just so you know Diana, I sorta like you-! What? Where did she go?”

Out of the closet Diana waved to him. “Sorry, but I don’t have time for this. I have so many people I want to molest.”

“Wait!” Joey cried, watching Diana run off to find some cute guy. “I am left all alone again. What did I do to deserve this?”

“Ha, ha,” Marik said in the background pointing his finger at Joey. “Finally someone besides me gets it.”

AMK placed another piece of gum in Mariks’ hair. “What were you saying?”

“NooOOooOOO!!” He started running around in circles trying to get the gum out of his hair. “Not again!!!”

“Wahahahaha!!” AMK laughed evilly. “Ahh, the sweetness of being evil . . .”
